Now I suddenly remembered that in "Julie and the Phantoms" there are three actors from "Descendants": Jadah Marie (Flynn/Celia), Booboo Stewart (Willie/Jay) and Cheyenne Jackson (Caleb/Hades). What am I getting at?

I had a feeling that someone was missing. I'm currently rewatching the "Julie e Os Fantasmas" episodes (still infinitely grateful to the authors of the English subtitles) and mentally comparing the two series. Yes, I still love Daniel more than Luke, but I decided to think about it more. Daniel, or rather Bruno Sigrist, has brown eyes and black curly hair. Cameron Boyce also has brown eyes and black curly hair. Yes, I thought it would be interesting if he played Daniel (if the character hadn't changed in the remake)! I'm sure he could have played up both the sarcasm and the tenderness towards Julie in a stunning way.

For some reason I also thought that Luke could have been played by Mitchell Hope or Ross Lynch. Not so much because of appearance, but because of character.

nights like that had become part of violet's routine, and if she was to be honest, it was one of the things she looked forward to the most. to say that her work was stressful would be an understatement, and the constant concern for anonymity could drive her crazy at any given moment, but in kalel's company none of that even crossed her mind. as soon as she set foot inside the establishment and locked eyes with that silly boy with that silly smile on his face, it was as if she forgot the reality she lived in and went back to being a child. no other place or other person were able to do that. as usual, she had already burned through more beer bottles than she could remember. it was late enough that very few people were still in the room, let alone at the gaming machines. anyway, violet wasn’t paying much attention to her surroundings - at that moment she was focused on beating kalel in this stupid game where her performance was always terrible, but she also always ended up winning at the very end, by the skin of her teeth. beginners luck, he used to say. too immersed in the game, kalel's insistence was already getting her confused. not that it was hard to get her confused after so many bottles. "i know, stupid. i like you too!" she replied, shaking her head from side to side in disbelief, not understanding what the problem was. there was an urgency to the boy's words and violet couldn't understand it, and it stayed that way - her brow furrowed, the clearly confused look on her face as her eyes were too busy on the arcade screen. "i don't get why you're insisting so much, as if i didn't understan-" while proclaiming her indignation was that the girl finally put her brain to work, and when she realized what his words could actually mean, she stopped mid-sentence and her lips remained parted in shock. "wait..." she hesitated, finally taking her eyes off the screen and turning towards kalel. "you don't mean like. like-like, right?" the tone of voice that was once loud and amused, now reduced to being barely above a whisper. suddenly, memories began to gather in violet's mind, as if trying to see everything they've lived together through another lens - every careful touch, every kind word, the care he had for her, that no one else ever had. could he have liked her the whole time and she never noticed? god, how could she be so dumb? “shut up.” the smile on the girl's features disappeared and gave way to an irritated face, as well as hinted at the harsh tone of voice. "shut up!" she raised her voice, and sounded even angrier - maybe it wasn't as obvious as she wanted it to be, but she was mad at herself, not at him. "god, i'm so stupid." she complained before taking just one more step towards kalel and placing both hands on his cheeks, closing her eyes and sealing their lips together. she took a long time to part their lips, but was quick to kiss him again, as she wanted to do for ages now. "i'm sorry, i'm so so stupid. i like you too, i like you so much and for so long."
