It's Not A Crush

Law stared as Sabo sat down in front of him. Both of them were in same class, lucky for Law, there’s no two troublemakers that going to ruin his habit staring at the blond man as he answered most of the questions teachers throw at him. No, he’s not staring him from how shining his hair was or how his watercolor eyes move beneath---okay, no. He’s not doing that stuff. He just admires the way the blond boy answered the teacher question perfectly. But still, he won’t let him become number one in the class.

Up until now, it always Law that became number one, but when Sabo got transferred into the class, Law position was tremble. Everyone in the class can see between that both he and Sabo was a rival. They’re right, there’s no way he got a crush just by having someone challenging him---

“Trafalgar,” Sabo whisper. Law snapped from his thought. He saw Sabo face in front of him, staring with a small smirk. Law can feel heat underneath his blood cells. He just hopes it doesn’t show into his face. Sabo tilt his head, his smirk turn into a smile he always plastered into his face. God, how he wishes he can stare at it forever…

“Anyway, can I borrow your pen? Mine got jammed,” the blond haired boy chuckle, Law shivered from his chuckle only. Okay, maybe he needs to strengthen his guard again. This isn’t good at all.

“Sure,” the tanned boy said with a stoic expression. On the outside, he’s quite poker face. But on the inside? Damn, he was cooked. He was lucky he can maintain the poker face or he’s doomed. This boy is dangerous.

“Hey, Trafalgar,” Sabo tap the tanned boy shoulder, Law glance behind his shoulder, hissing from annoyance and embarrassment he’s not ready to face. Luckily Sabo thought the first when he saw Law. He chuckled.

“Let’s study together, rival,” he smirked and poke the book he was holding into Law’s shoulder again. The blond boy laughed as Law pushed the book away. Both of them now sat down near the window where they can see the football yard. At first glance, Law can see two troublemakers, which claimed as the blond boy siblings, running around the field. Probably playing football or chasing around, just like what they always did. Sabo claimed they were always playing outside because each time they play indoor, stuff getting messy and three of them were scolded by Dadan, even though it’s not Sabo fault directly.

“Trafalgar? Are you listening?” Sabo wave his hand in front of the boy face. Law snapped from his memories then stared at him.

“Of course I did,” Law looked away from the window. “You were talking about the biology class that going to need two people for a group project right?” Law hoped he was right, because several minutes after the blond boy talk, his mind already goes somewhere.

“Yep,” Sabo chuckled and grin, showing his white teeth. The ASL, that’s what three siblings called themselves, always have that one thing makes them siblings.

Their smile. They gave so much smile, even when the blond haired boy have scars on his other eyes, he looked gorgeous than what he already had. The siblings are really dangerous both for his headache, and heart.

“Have everyone told you how gorgeous you would look like?”

Sabo stunned, his eyebrows furrowed. Law gulped. Why the heck he slip? He thought he said those in his mind. Not on his mouth!

Law expression now becomes deadpanned, hiding his embarrassment. He really is going to need a check up later. His brain can’t work together with his heart. Then, Law looked away. Trying to shove down those boiling blood cell down. This is embarrassing. Why none of Luffy, Ace or someone else greet them already and end this awkward silence?

His thought snapped as he heard a chuckle.

“Well, aside of my brother, I don’t think I heard anyone call me gorgeous, but thanks,” and now Sabo gave a sweetest smile in Law’s eyes. Law gulped and immediately pull one of his book and opening it. He stand the book and bury his face into the pages.

Notes: i never write about Sabo. Especially when i am only read like, two smut fic about their dynamic. So basically i am can write longer fic. But i can see that if i did that, i going to make Sabo ooc 😭
