need ur opinion on barty & pandora’s relationship bc i always saw them as really close but almost only behind closed doors or only with their friends?? barty has his whole shtick of being someone who “doesn’t care” and seems entirely indifferent to almost everyone (besides evan, reg, dorcas) and so when people see little ms sunshine pandora rosier walking next to him they’re always surprised?? well surely it must be because she’s evan’s twin right?? wrong!! barty always somehow gets roped into pandora’s mini quests!! he walks around the school with wet pants for the whole day because pandora insisted she needed help finding specific kinds of rocks in the lake that morning!! barty’s not a particularly sentimental guy, but you’re crazy if you think he ever threw out any of the random things pandora’s given him over the years… (truthfully he wanted to throw away the purple sparkly button she had found and given to him when they were 12, but he felt such an awful sense of guilt that he dug back through the trash, found it and has kept a shoebox underneath his bed of what she’s given him ever since.) i think pandora also never gave him the whole “if you hurt my brother i’ll kill you” talk because she just knew they were made for eachother in some weird way, but barty definitely gives anyone pandora’s dating that talk (maybe accompanied by a silent, but dead eyed regulus/evan/dorcas?) barty & pandora both fall asleep on the other one and she keeps his favorite snacks in her bag because he gets “hangry” she claims. he knows how she takes her tea and if he doesn’t have time in the morning there’s his favorite coffee ready to drink!! in a weird way i think barty almost values her everlasting kindness/naivety?something he feels he lost too young? almost mirror each other in the sense that they both value their individuality so deeply, but have also been isolated a lot throughout their lives and have had very few people to truly trust, yet turned out so so so differently? barty being more closed off, pandora being more open, etc. etc. they both share a protectiveness over all their friends, but their rage is entirely different, barty’s more loud and pandora’s more quiet. someone says something bad about pandora and barty’s beating them up, but if someone says something bad about barty pandora is absolutely dosing their morning juice with a potion that’ll make their skin turn purple for a month. idk!!! i feel like you could probably explain this better xx i have to thank you for the rosekiller, bcj, lily evans brainrot!!!

* it's no secret that sam is very forgetful, however i think this helped him become friends with penny. penny is very organized and has every important date (ie birthdays) memorized. --- she NEVER forgets a birthday. --- one day, penny heard sam repeating a phrase to himself so he wouldn't forget what he needed to do. penny encouraged him to write it down and even showed him how to write on a rubber band. sam adopted this and everytime he sees penny he'll smile widely and hold up his wrist (which will have anywhere from 6-10 rubber bands at the time. poor boy).

(Once again I know nothing Tighnari farthest I got in Genshin was Inazuma 😭 but I want to hear your thoughts anyway)

Oh my god dude I love Genshin so much. If you still have it you should definitely play the Sumeru Archon Quests because even though they’re quite wordy, I really enjoyed them and some of my favorite characters are from Sumeru, Tighnari being one of them. Tighnari is so so silly, he’s just a little fox guy who’s also kind of rude but in a kind, worried sort of way, and his Story Quest is really sad. There are TONS of characters from the game that I think g/t thoughts about, Tighnari being one of them. I just think he would work out so great as a giant? Like, he’s a forest watcher who catalogs and studies flora and fauna throughout the rainforest, imagine how he’d react if he found a tiny? He’d be fascinated, wanting to know everything about you, writing down whole pages of notebooks about your habits, way of life, diet, etc. Then he’d probably move onto the more personal parts of a friendship because I think he’d grow very attached to you and really want to protect you. You’re just so small! He really can’t believe such a creature like you exists. He just wants to learn all he can about you and your species.

Oh gosh, I think about Genshin vore scenarios a lot more than I should. Tighnari would definitely do this. Not in a malicious way or a “I’m hungry so I want to eat you” way, but absolutely in a protection or even healing way? I feel like he’d be rather opposed to it at first because it would go against his morals, but his fox instincts would probably LOVE the idea of gulping down prey, so he’d end up kinda craving it. But he’d never hurt you and he’d be devastated if he scared you. Perhaps vore could be used with him as a sort of exposure therapy to help you grow to trust that he’s not gonna hurt you. Ooogh so much potential for angst too heeheehee.

ooogh. okay. actually i never included this in the ask meme. mm,,, how do i want to handle this. hm. i thiiink.. hibiki and kanade deserve some time to be estranged from each other. obvi this is again, within how i choose to write them. so i dont think this will be a relatable take. buuuut yeah. sometimes the best thing for siblings is to not be siblings for a bit. if anyone asks they just share a last name but have no relation. i think that would be good

i have a very normal relationship with my siblings (<- only child who used to be a younger sibling. that is what i am choosing.)

How i feel about their canonical writing/handling

mmmm,, she is so so so fucking system and i really wish she belonged to anyone but linuj. do u guys remember when i said hm maybe the otono twins were abused by their parents and thats why kanade took control of the situation by hurting the one person she could who would always have to be around her? and then a few months later linuj was like oh kanade is just born evil shes inherently bad because i think thats fun and cool^^ ? i remember. i remember very well.

i think,, hibiki was just ultimately underused. and like. it sucks and was bullshit what happened but also i Understand it within what it did narratively. even if i think linuj kinda dicked up the way it couldve affected the tone of the game. buuut. really the largest disservice that happened was like. the way she ultimately had no agency. according to linuj, no matter what, kanade would be Like That, and hibiki would get hurt, and the end. im not saying what happened to her was her fault, thats not what i mean when i say she has no agency, i mean. there was no in universe reason for what happened, not at the end of the day. she was doomed from conception in and out of universe and it just sucks and makes her feel flat because u cant even go what if not without completely ignoring the way linuj writes a wholeass character. hoping that all makes sense?

buuut yeah. tldr. she couldve been vv well written and handled well, even with her ultimate fate staying the same. but by admitting there's absolutely no way hibiki could have made it out okay, not even a "well, the cards would never line up like this, but if x had happened, and then y, then kanade would've fucked off", but making it that no matter what, kanade is gonna do what she did. it just kinda leaves a bad taste about things
