This is one of the situations where I hate that I'm right as it means people are suffering but I told you all so.

Operation Olive Branch (oob) is currently having a scandal in regards to money and aid not going where it's supposed to. Nothing is 100% confirmed, so all of this is alleged.

Essentially oob as 3 main money streams they organize, fundraisers which go directly to affected families, a fundraiser for the refugee camp they run and then a non specified fund which goes to whatever like helping to pay staff or other things.

The money for the refugee camp they run, is not being used in its entirety. Ex volunteers have spoken out about the lack of aid at the camp.

The people who run oob then reported the ex volunteers who spoke out to the fbi cyber crimes division for defamation and sent a cease and desist.

I'm not sure about all ex volunteers, but one who is very vocal about it, is refusing to get the fbi involved about the alleged misuse of funds because acab.

Like to me, this is very much a fbi should be involved. Palestinians wellbeing at this camp is affected. Shouldn't that be your main priority not acab? Or is it because they're pro Palestine that oob gets a free pass from being held legally accountable. I mean, they're not israeli so why should they? (Sarcasm).

And like, it was glaringly obvious from the get-go that there was going to be issues. Their vetting process for fundraisers was half baked. And these people, who have no experience running a refugee camp, decided to run one.

And I hate that I was right as Palestinians need aid. But i fucking told you all.

I don't have any IDV OCs, but I did sketch some of my other OCs in the IDV style a long time ago.

Maybe I'll do some refined versions some day. Either imagining them as characters in the game and come up with in-game abilities, or make a crossover essence mock-up where each of them are a skin and assign them to canon characters.
