Round 1 Part 2 Poll 6

The art used for the Vingilot is from one of the Silmarillion's covers (I think it was a Chinese one but I wouldn't swear it - I still have the cover saved if anyone's interested)

No description or propaganda for the Vingilote. Feel free to provide some I could use if the ship makes it to another round.

Description for the Ulysses : Developed by Whitmore Industries, it is 382 Feet (116.434 meters) long, can go 18 knots, has 12 torpedo launchers in 6 external ball turrets which capable of firing explosive proximity torpedoes out of launchers that have 180 degrees of movement, and had a crew of 201 at launch! The bridge is located within a glass enclosure at the front of the ship so you can look out into the ocean like you are in an atrium. It's like an air craft carrier but a sub; it also housed 24 mini subpods and many other land terrain vehicles. It was eventually destroyed by a leviathan.

Propaganda for the Ulysses : I mean, see above. But also it just looks so iconic to the movie. Also, like, its HOW they even get to Atlantis at all soooooo

The title definitely is way harsher than Atle said it in his direct quote (he adds "...and I understand him"), further into the article. Also him saying that they can't be practising together anymore is, on its own, pretty much non-judgmental, after all they don't practice with the French or the Italians either. But I very much commend the journalist of vg and hope they'll join tumblr and/or ao3 one day bc I looove their vision.

omg omg have i ever talked on here about the time i almost met jack when i was at the fob show in march 2023 bc there hasn't been a day since it happened that i haven't thought about it

#like he was just #in the queue???#i was with someone else who doesn't listen to atl but saw him before i did and only recognised him bc of me posting about atl on ig KJSHFKH #but basically what happened was i saw jack in the queue and then again when i got inside the venue #like i was standing towards the back and he was there with nano + lupe + gamesweplay #(i apologise idk gamesweplay's real name skhfk)#like they were all standing at the back near the bar hanging around #so i made my way to the back and kind of awkwardly hung around sdjfkdjfh #he was there with friends so i didn't wanna like ambush him so i ended up not actually getting to talk to him 😔#and that makes me so sad bc he was RIGHT THERE #i was maybe three metres away from him #and honestly i was just so excited that it happened at the time #and i still am #like ngl when i think about that particular fob show i always think about that dhfskdf #but i'll always be haunted by the fact that i missed my opportunity to talk to him #“what would you do if you saw your fav in public?” turns out i'd just fuckin stand there awkwardly and miss the chance to say hi to them #jack barakat #all time low
