I'm alive!!!!! Yes it's been another year since I updated, My only excuse is my life got busy. This chapter didn't exist in the original outline. It was originally just a quick scene at Missy and Grey's wedding and was heavily expanded after s8 when they did Missandei and Grey dirty. This chapter is a direct result of that. This is for Missandei and Grey and the happy ending they were denied in S8 and yes I am still salty and will forever be salty about it. lol

Chapter 13:

Dany chanced a glance towards Jon’s table. He was laughing at one of Mossa’s jokes when their eyes locked. He smiled, giving her one of his uncoordinated winking attempts. It was proving challenging for them to be discreet. Dany was almost certain they were exposed during the wedding photos.

The photographer had gather all of the friends for a photo; Jon positioning himself right behind her, his hands resting on her hips. Dany interlaced her hand with his, leaning back into his embrace. Jon leaned forward, resting his head against hers while the photographer took multiple shots. Quickly brushing a kiss against the nape of her neck, she was almost sure they were caught just from the blush alone but the others around them enjoying the celebratory mood were none the wiser.

It was like a clandestine game of cat and mouse, the secret looks, the hand on her lower back that guided her during the cocktail hour. Dany bumping his hip while Theon talked about his latest trip to Dorne. The light, lingering touches of their hands when they brought the other drinks. The tension between them was palpable and had Dany eagerly anticipating what would happen once they were alone.

I read your OG ending for Once In A Lifetime and fuck you(with love) for making me cry. 😭 It was so wistful and it hurts so beautifully. I truly love that your initial drafts and the final versions all have their own charms and never fails to tug at the heartstrings.

That is a version of the ending I also mourn a little just for how much I loved that epilogue. And I think in my hanging on so long to my hesitance to give them a (tentative) happy ending, letting go of that epilogue was one of the main things that held me back.

Which makes me even more happy to have it appreciated here how. ❤️

i wish i had taken a video of it! it was in hamburg though if that helps with anything! the stage was quite literally parted by a single pillar and you could literally see everything going on behind it as there was nothing like a wall or anything, so for once in a lifetime there we just all standing there, watching alex play

EMD SD40 Friday Part II

A pair of Conrail EMD SD40-2's have New Jersey Transit EMD GP40FH-2 4135 (ex-Conrail, exx-PC, exxx-NYC) DIT (dead in tow) as they head West with OIAL (Oak Island-Allentown). No clue where the NJT unit was going, but Juniata is a good guess. Just wonder why they didn't put it on OIPI (Oak Island-Pittsburgh) where it could be set out at Altoona.

I'm not gonna lie, I had to go back and reread chapter 2 of Once in a Lifetime because I didn't remember writing anything particularly prophetic, but actually? Damn. 😅 Without spoiling the fic, there are a lot of freaky parallels, not in terms of plot, which is quite different, but some of the conversations with Mobius? Wild. Thanks for pointing that out because I honestly did not notice.

For a fic that matches some vibes, namely Loki's time looping (but again not really plot, which I did not predict lol), let me also direct you to It's Been a Bad Day Lately.

I am glad that I took the time to do this, because my plan was to do this with the Over the Rainbow Infinity Fade, and this is not turning out as expected. I am also trying to do my selvedges like everyone else in the brioche world.

Thanks for the ask and apologies for the delay, I’m just getting back into my account.

Tbh every time I set a deadline for OIAL updates, something comes up and I fail lol so because I’m so superstitious I won’t say when but it is in the works.

Life/work has been extremely busy but I’ve been chipping away and not just working on the next chapter but all the chapters till the end. So to answer your ask anon… soon.

The end is in sight just need work to chill tf out so I can post 😂

I actually finished some spinning! The fiber is 40% superwash merino, 40% merino, and 20% tussah silk dyed in a OIAL colorway from Fiber Optic Yarns. I spun the singles on my Lendrum Saxony with my superfast flyer, and plied them together on my Daedalus Sparrow. Penny is in the photo for size comparison.

If this is a conspiracy to say they’re seriously never going to acknowledge OIAL ever again in a legitimate Gaskarth Gaslight move I do not agree it’s that simple…. But what if it isssssss!!!
