On a different occasion, after you two finished, you didn’t wait for her to tell you to go. You started getting dressed up a little faster than usual. Normally, you waited for her to just kick you out, ‘cause deep down you always had a little hope she’d let you stay with her, to sleep in each other’s arms like before, like when you were each other’s home and safe place. The day after tho, you were busy because of work and you needed to advance some of it so you did have to go home that night. However, Minjeong didn’t buy it.

“Why are you in such a hurry?” she asked very curious and clearly upset about your behavior, which surprised you because she was always the one in a hurry to get you out of her apartment. You scoffed.

“What? Now you want me to stay?” you asked in a sarcastic tone, which made her role her eyes “I have work tomorrow morning and stuff to finish tonight, I don’t have time to wait around until you’re kicking me out and throwing my clothes at me in the middle of the hallway.”

“Bullshit.” she said, clearly getting worked up once again because of whatever she was imagining. “what is it? That bitch texted you to get home soon?”

“What are you talking about?” You asked really tired, you really didn’t wanna deal with this tonight.

“You know who I’m talking about, y/n. Your new bitch, the one you cheated on me with.” she answered as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

“Are you fucking serious? How many times do I have to tell you that it was a ONE time thing? Why cant you get that through your fucking head?!”

“Don’t you fucking lie to me!” she yelled, tears threatening to fall already.

“I am NOT lying, fuck!” you yelled back, agitated about this whole situation, this whole routine and cycle.

“God why do we always end up fighting?!” she screamed louder in exasperation. She just doesn’t understand how someone who used to make her feel so much love now upset her so easily.

“I don’t know! You tell me!” you told her, moving your hands as you speak to emphasize your desperation for answers “You’re always the first one to raise your fucking voice. What, am I supposed to just accept it and let you talk to me like that like—”

“Shut up! Just shut the fuck up!” she yelled with a trembling voice and tears already falling down her face, grabbing your shirt and hardly pushing you against the wall, making you go quiet and a little scared. Both of you breathing heavy, her so close to you that you could feel her breathe on your lips. She rested her forehead against yours without making eye contact, just trying her best to calm herself. “I Fuckin hate you, y/n.”

“No you don’t…” you whispered, this time waiting for her to make the next move. And so she did, kissing you deeply. And there you went for yet another round. This time, it made you so exhausted that you fell asleep for a little while, and Minjeong decided to take the chance to shower.

She hated herself. For enjoying the taste of your lips, the touch of your hands, the feeling of your skin. The taste of your body and how you knew hers so well. She hated you (no) but she hated herself more for not being able to escape you, to resist you. You broke her fucking heart and you didn’t even seem to care, and still here she was, calling you when she needed you, and you would always come like you always did. Or when you suddenly text her or knock on her door, she couldn’t deny you. Her body burned for your touch.

It burned for it and afterwards it would still burn, but for different reasons. Minjeong always needed to shower after having sex with her ex. She needed that private time, to desperately try and erase you from her body like she wasn’t gonna call you again soon. Minjeong would cry under the water, knowing she could never erase the print you’ve left in her heart, her soul. Knowing she would always yearn for you to make her body yours. She was yours, and as much as she hated the pain you caused her, this is something she had yet to accept. That you were each other’s. That she couldn’t just cut that thread. Her body didn’t listen to her, her mind was fragmented and so was her heart. Pieces of them everywhere inside of her, most of them not able to process all of this.

So she’d cry under the shower, out of pain, out of anger, out of love. Out of so many things. Kim Minjeong was just emotionally exhausted, and you? You were emotionally numb. And you were trying to be ok with it for now, ‘cause you knew the moment everything hit you again, it was gonna be chaos inside of you. You were not gonna be able to process your girl not being your girl anymore. The love of your life turned into some type of enemy that didn’t want you but couldn’t let you go either. So you trick your brain, deep down hoping things will get better and you’ll find some answers. For now? You’d make Minjeong yours again and again the only way she allowed you to.

My first quilt is done :) I've never sewn anything before (besides some VERY basic hand-stitching when i was a little kid) so this was a major learning experience lol

I used 5x9" rectangles and made a little checkered pattern. I wasn't following any specific pattern or tutorial, and was more just winging every part of it (and it shows). BUT!! I still think it's cute and cozy and I'm excited about it :)

Progress pics and mistakes under the cut !

This quilt was certainly a process, and being, as i am, extremely lazy, every step I took lacked the precision required to make the quilt all nice. And in all honesty i am 100% okay with that, I don't need it to be anywhere near perfect!

Here are all of my pieces laid out on the floor after i cut them out! I didnt take any pics between that and the top-stitching (no clue if that's what it's called, but where it's all basted and then you sew the patterns that go along the quilt) so we'll skip to then

I managed to sew over my excess fabric AND create insane bunching, both because i wasn't paying any attention to the back of my quilt and was really really lazy with my basting (and this is where i made the seam ripper gif lmao)

I also learned why people buy long-arm machines and shit because oh my godddd this was a pain

Anyway next i cut out my binding strips and checked to see that i had enough, which thankfully i did lmao

My binding is pretty awful, i did it the wrong way and elected not to redo it, and my corners are quite messy, but i really truly just don't care. It's still a very cozy quilt

And then it was done! That's all!!

The process from start to finish took me about two days (started cutting pieces Wednesday night, began sewing Thursday morning, continued sewing until it was all done on Friday evening!)

I got the fabric largely from my friend, who has oh so much of it. I think my choices are pretty dang cute :)

Incoming little rant/ramble:

I can't wait til the first time I get to have sex after transitioning, it'll be my first time as a guy and I hope it will be a sort of healing experience for me.

(I had my first time with a complete piece of shit. It hurt. I bled everywhere. He kept telling me that was supposed to happen. I am fairly sure now he was lying).

I feel like... maybe I deserve a second chance at that experience, and it happens to be something transition kinda offers?

I doubt I'll be going out for hookups prior to top surgery, even if the T makes it unbearable to not do so I still won't do it a lot. I dislike physically sharing my body with others and am often averse to touch because of dysphoria.

But one day I'll be on T and then I could do it!! Top surgery??? Then I could do it harder!! Oh my godddd I want to fuck or be fucked, but as a guy!!

And as tempting as just letting my fwb screw me is, I want it to be someone else who hasn't known me as long. My fwb has known me since I was eleven years old, he will struggle changing his perception of me and I don't want him to slip up, to gasp out my deadname or misgender me because he's so so used to the person I was before.

The smell of rain filled the air as the downpour surrounded the area. The grass y/n stood on had quickly become damp as they stood there; bag over head, desperately looking around for cover of some sort.

By a stroke of luck they saw a dimly lit building. It looked abandoned to say the least. Y/n immediately started to run towards the building, their shoes squeaking against the wet grass. Once they were right outside they took a closer look at the sign. "Freddy Fazbear's", with some sort of bear wearing a top hat and bowtie.

What is this place? They thought to themself, subconsciously scanning the building for any other people. Nope, definitely empty... Empty with locked doors. Y/n sighed and started walking around the side, their clothes becoming soaked by the rainwater. Gross.

Y/n let out a sigh of relief upon seeing an unlocked door around the side of the building. They gently opened the door... (this was done on purpose, sorry ddlc fans)

The inside was dark. Very dark. Various tables and chair were scattered across the tiled floor, thy were dusty and unkept. Much like the arcade machines to the right side, untouched for what looked like years. At the very front of the room sat a stage, covered by a crimson curtain, though it was hard to see in the dark. What mattered was that it was somewhere to wait for the rain to stop.

They carefully took a step forward, looking around the room, eyes squinted. "Hello?" Seems like no-one's here. Y/n took several more steps forward, making their through the dark building; failing to notice a little pebble just waiting to ruin their day. Y/n yelps, being dragged down to the floor. "Ouch.."

They hold their knee for a minute before jolting up at the sound of a flashlight being turned on. The bright, headache inducing light pours down, illuminating them along with some of the hard-tiled floor around them.

They look up to see a man wearing a security jacket. Now I'm in trouble.

"Um.. Hello?" The man looked to be in his 20s. "Uh sorry, am I not allowed to be here…? They quickly stand up, pulling an arm above their eyes to avoid the light. “What are you doing here? This place is closed.” Just look at that short, brown, curly hair.

"Well, it was raining and I need to find somewhere to cover until it stops. Sorry, I'll go if I'm causing any trouble."

"No, no, you're good-" And gorgeous brown eyes.

He turns the flashlight towards the floor, giving them a half smile. "What's your name?" Oh, and that face... Y/n felt their heart melt at the sight, this guy is... Amazing! Wait, what did he say?

"I'm y/n! And yourself?" They smile at him. Trying to hide the blush creeping onto their face and trying not to get lost in his eyes.

He smiles in return, his brown eyes almost glowing in the darkness surrounding them both. "That's a pretty name. I'm Mike."

He pauses, his smile faltering slightly. "Hey, you look cold. Uh, here, take this." He says, unzipping his jacket and removing it, holding out to them instead. Y/n can't help it anymore, their cheeks glowing pink even in the dark. They take the jacket and zip it around themself. "Thank you, Mike... So, do you work here? I thought this place was abandoned."

“This place closed down in the 90’s.. but I'm the security guard. I just check in on this place after dark to make sure nothing bad is going on here.” That makes sense. If he's a security guard he must be strong. God, just look at him... I've never seen anyone so perfect before!

Mike must've noticed their eyes staring at him, he clears his throat. "So, I need to go check on the monitors and stuff, feel free to just sit in the dining room for a while. I'll be in the office if you need anything." He smiles back at them, now blushing a bit too. Probably from the attention he isn't used to. "Oh and one more thing,"

He pauses.

"Would you like to get coffee some time?"

"Blue Velvet" Reboot Starring Tom Waits (Suburbia Overture 2024 Edit) - Revue Lines are delivered with much more clarity than the 2022. The tone of voice used in "Vampire Culture" is significantly less deep, which does add to the aforementioned clarity (he says some wild stuff in this part i just couldnt hear before!) but i do think takes away mildly from the juxtaposition of the three parts. The same can be said about "Love Me Normally," where the voice he uses is much closer to his normal singing tone (as seen in "Suburbia Overture") 4/5, the changes were large but noticeable, the piece overall retains the same charm as the original "Suburbia Overture" seen on The Normal Album

Second Sight Seer! S! (2222024 Edit) - Revue Significantly more clear than the original "2econd-2ight-2eer (that was fun, goodbye.)" and i feel like it does much more for this song than "Suburbia Overture." I think its probably because this song is just generally faster paced. You can much more clearly hear what Will is saying. This might also just be placebo, but the backing track ALSO sounds much crisper. He also kinda does a silly little twinge in his voice. This version is an improvement over the original. 5/5

The Moral Implications of a Deterministic Universe feat. The Onceler (Laplace's Angel 2024 Edit) - Revue OH MY. GOD. His voice in this song is AMAZING. its slightly different than the tone he uses in the original and it so slightly changes the tone of the song. This shit is ORGASMIC. THE ENDING BIT… THE INTRO INSTRUMENTAL… OH MY GODDDD every part of this song is better. i like the onceler reference because his "am i really that bad line" does sound like him lol. WW my tumblrina king. 7/5

HIS VOICE!!! it was amazing in the original and its a subtle change if ur a new listener but oh my fucking god it actually is bringing a tear to my eye. the instrumental is amazing also. I don't feel like changes are that prominent, comparable to the original all honestly, its a perfectly good song though. I generally feel like BBW is one of the weaker songs on this album so im not really shocked by this. the ending sounds better in this one 3/5

Rerecording the vocals improved this alot his emphasis is great in this. Its not a shocking difference like some other songs so far but its very good. 4/5

🤝 How would you describe the nature of Phoenix and their Handler’s working relationship? (Bonus: at what point/s do you think this dynamic shifts?)

WOOHOO!!

Phoenix and Handler’s dynamic has been one that’s been a bit.. I don’t know, almost confusing. To me, at least. I see all these different interpretations of the duo and it’s hard to not have them influence my own at times. I’m gonna have to go game-by-game with this one because their working relationship definitely did change over the course of the series. And keep in mind, this is going to have a lot of headcanons/interpretations squeezed in here- I am going to go as close to game accurate as I can, which means it’s WAY too many words to not go under a cut. Also spoilers, of course.

Game 1: Phoenix (or rather, the Agent at this point), is a fresh faced newbie who Handler doesn’t seem to have long-term high hopes for. The beginning of the turning point for him starts as early as the end of Deep Dive, I’d say. He really didn’t expect them to make it out of that one, and he’s pleasantly surprised to see them alive. He’s a little more personable with them during their next mission, Winter Break, and even more so in First Class. He sets up riddles and puzzles in their cabin for them, clearly having fun with it.

By the time of Seat of Power and Death Engine, he’s definitely warmed up to the Agent and isn’t just putting on the show of being enthusiastic- it’s genuine. He’s at least gotten a little attached by now.

So, game 1 summary: from “oh goodie, new agent! I don’t expect them to last long” to “Hey, they’re not bad! I think they might actually stick around a while. We can trust them with a larger assignment.” (That assignment being the Juniper case- had we gone through Stage Fright in game 1, I doubt that the Agent would have been allowed stayed on. Not enough experience + hasn’t proved themselves, it would have been reassigned to someone who had that.)

Game 2: In the beginning, the Agent might just be one of if not his favorite active agents. He shows genuine concern and worry for them after they get reconnected in Jet Set, and he shares/expresses his disappointment with Juniper with them. I mean, just think about it- the last time he was disconnected from them like that was during Death Engine which, assumedly, would have resulted in any other agent at their skill level being killed. Moving on, he’s panicked for them when the guard comes in Eaves Drop (there’s more to talk about with ED but I’ll get to it somewhere else). “When you get back, you should get that eye looked at.” By now, he has confidence in the Agent and knows that they’ll make it back after this mission- seems easy enough, just sneak into John Juniper’s booby-trapped chateau and make it out alive with the briefcase. Piece of cake. Here’s my favorite part- Safe and Sound. Now there’s shift in their dynamic, nothing new there, but this time we feel it on the Agent/player’s end. They hear Handler acting.. off, to say the least, and they only lose trust in him as they become more and more uneasy up until the Juniper reveal. When they do get back in touch with the real Handler, there is a trust that’s been lost. Maybe not in Handler himself, as he scrambles to prove that he is who he says he is, but in whoever happens to be on the other side of their comms. But wait, there’s more! We learn from Handler that he’s apparently been searching for them himself for hours- do I even need to say anything for this? And here comes Rising Phoenix. His plea for the Agent to not do it as he recognizes that they’re going to sacrifice themselves, his cry for them when they fall, his shellshocked debriefing as he has to accept that the Agent Phoenix isn’t coming back this time, that there wasn’t even a body to recover. GODDDD HE CARES. HE CARES SO MUCH, IT HURTS TO LISTEN TO THAT DEBRIEFING.

To add to all of this, he had been (mostly) nearby/in very close proximity to Phoenix this time around, which means that they most definitely saw each other in person at least once. Stage Fright? I mean, it’s possible that they arrived separately and didn’t see each other. Jet Set is a no. Eaves Drop? They absolutely saw each other, Handler was up on the roof when they went down and came back up! Party Crasher? Handler was the getaway driver (“Come back to the van” versus “Get back to the van”). Safe and Sound? More of the same, they were probably driven by him to whatever their next mode of transportation was to get to the island with the Peace Summit. He wasn’t there for Rising Phoenix, but I bet that he would’ve been if he could have. Maybe he could have changed things..

Game 3: Good LORDDDDD his reaction in the tutorial (SOBBING SHAKING CRYING he’s so relieved and dare I say GIDDY upon finding out that Phoenix is alive and relatively safe). Yeah he’s so attached by now, it’s insane. HE WAS READY AND WILLING TO DIVE INTO THE OCEAN TO SAVE PHOENIX. !!! I’d probably have to go back and replay ieytd3 in order to spot more instances like this but tragically, I have not found a good chance to since this was asked + I don’t want to keep this sitting in my drafts for any longer than I already have (sorry asker😓). I was more focused on Roxana’s development than Handler’s when I did go through it, to be honest. He is very open and chatty by the end of this, though, he even tells us a story about his personal life! Even if we didn’t really get to hear about his thing with chickens.. sorry Handler.

I’m running out of steam writing this, but I like to say that this development applies to Cyan and Yellow as well, as even if I want to put my own spin on things with my Phoenix interpretation and such, I also like to have them be relatively on-brand. I don’t think it’d be fit for me to describe their dynamic in any other way than Agent and Handler, whether that be applied to how they were in Squeaky Clean or in Hot Water. It just Is, you know?

What other games (other than sonic and splatoon) do you like?

I shall show you some of my favourite games! Not a lot but some of them!

Ultimate Spider-Man is phenomenal. It's a short yet sweet game where you get to play as a really fluid feeling Spidey and a fucking awesome take on Venom. The first Venom mission is him EATING A CHILD AND FIGHTING WOLVERINE! THAT'S SO RAW!

The art style, THE MUSIC!!!!!!!! HOLY SHIT THE MUSIC! IT'S SO GOOD! I mean sure there's a couple of missions that make me groan, but most of them? Oh my GODDDD!!!!! Top tier game design and boss design too. You cannot top the Spider-Man vs. Venom fight on top of the Trask building, with all that fire and rain my GOD! IT'S SOOOO COOL!!!!!

Ridge Racer Type 4... I'm gonna tell you to do something that will change your life.

Listen to 'Move Me' from the OST. Just listen to that single song and it will all come together on why this game is amazing. I am not gonna elaborate on the phenomenal gameplay, controls, track design, art style, etc, just listen to that song. PLEASE!

This game right here, top tier, a near flawless masterpiece in puzzle design. It's difficult yet fair and i only got stuck at the very end of the game where i feel like it's at it's weakest. Act 1 and act 2 of this game is nothing short of fantastic art direction, storytelling and mechanics. It even has J. K. Simmons bro. J. K. FUCKING SIMMONS! THE GOAT! THE LEGEND! If you don't know who that is i will actually punch you i swear to god....

And the final two songs?... That shit makes me CRY MY EYES OUT! WHY IS IT SO EMOTIONAL?! HOW IS IT SO EMOTIONAL! GAHHH I'M GONNA CRY ME A RIVER BRB!

Yeah... Yeah this? This is awesome. I was so impressed by it's visuals when i first played it, i was thinking to myself "how the hell is the ps4 rendering all this grass?!?" EVEN ON PS5 IT'S SO IMPRESSIVE! HOW CAN THAT CONSOLE RUN THIS GAME AT 60FPS?!?!? IT'S MAGIC I TELL YA!

The story of this game, holy shit the STORY! It's awesome. It's packed with intriguing character arcs, Jin Sakai, what a phenomenal protagonist.

The combat feels so fluid and brutal, the music is so atmospheric, the world is so dense and packed with so much detail. It's an awesome game.

And the final boss... The last 30 minutes... Don't even talk to me about it because I'm gonna start crying again.

I mean do i have to really say anything? Do i even need to add any sort of reason or explanation on why i like this game?

I haven't finished the Yakuza/Like a Dragon series and i got stuck at 3. The games are long and can be filled with a lot of cutscenes. But I'm telling you, this game? This game rocks and it's a god damn rollercoaster of fun, drama, insanity, etc.

I decided to save this one for last. Because this game means a lot to me and it's sequel too. I remember playing the re-release on Switch and i had to have a moment after just sitting around in the Comet Observatory, like i stopped playing and i had to cry for a solid 10 minutes. I'm not sure why i broke down randomly but i can figure out why. This game is the perfect encapsulation of my childhood and the sort of vibe i grew up in.

I had a Wii as a kid and so this game captures that sort of aesthetic and atmosphere that part of my life had. Playing this game, thinking about it, hearing the music, seeing the visuals... It makes me cry. It makes me sob. Space Junk Galaxy, the domes, Freezeflame galaxy, Honeyhive galaxy... Man...

The power of visual storytelling this game has is just... 100/10 for me.

And... Rosalina's storybook.

I'm actually crying so much looking at this. I'm actually breaking down right now as i type this. Just this single image is enough to destroy a man's soul. It is some of the most powerful pieces of art I've ever had the pleasure of viewing.

And i wanna end it off with this. The Garden. The final dome in the game.

This is just... I... Man...

I'm crying again.

generally, usual poetry rules apply, which is to say as far as i'm concerned there are none bar what you personally like to use/what u find helpful/writing with the style you're using in mind/etc !!!!

at first i wrote it linearly, i was used to that approach with prose anyway + i found it easier to keep the endings consistent that way, but as i went on it was helpful to go back and put in elaborations or other extra lines that would make sense in certain parts <33 just having the main bit fleshed out beforehand was nice though

i had a couple ways of actually Organizing the lines themselves and i kind of mashed both together in an amalgamation LMAO.

first i just used a few lines as normal! because i have a Lot of random snippets in my never ending cache of random thoughts i wanna write about some day😭so i'd take a line like "warble your pretty need to be rid of this death wish" which is on its own longer than i'd use in other poetry formats and kind of clunky to say all at once, and split it where i thought it made sense (@ pretty/need) and then just brought death wish under the left line. to be honest i did that a lot, just rearranging on a whim (fun as hell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

i wrote with the gap between them and titles there the whole time, it doesn't have to be formatted neatly while you're still writing it, but it helps to visualize i think<3333

then at that point i'd improvise💛yk, take a look at both ends and think of a logical continuation for them. i thought "while you're still alive to do it" worked so i ended the line there, stuff like that. laying it out now it sounds pretty orderly but it took a lot of tweaking in terms of phrasing

just now remembering i changed this whole thing into the first person around draft 291032189859. if i say you then just assume i mean i/me etc 💛💛💛OKKK dhjsbvhjdjhfdsj. onward<3

honestly, for the most part i repeated that process--- take a line, chop it up and fill in the blanks until it ends, then go back and add on lines u think work and adjust phrasing here and there!!

there's lots of points where u reach an opportunity to go in a different direction with a statement; absolutely lean into this!!!!!!!!!! i used this for after "the truth i know already:" and a couple other places, it's something you don't usually get a chance to experiment with most forms of verse and is SO cool <3333333
