Mana and Neige are fully tieflings, Darcy was born magically so she’s technically part sea elf but took after her tiefling father, Nobody’s Business is -turned tiefling, and Corail technically has some water genasi heritage.

After Neige and the boys took the stranger to the infirmary and the nurse gave them the green light to stay and take care of her overnight, waiting to see if the girl would wake up. Chenya joined the group out of mere curiosity, not really to help, but just to find the most comfortable place to rest and have all the tea.

[NBC! Cloche]

An amiable girl hesitant to say what’s on her mind, mistaken for shyness by others. She’s comfortable acting as soundscape, reacting to others and prompting them with questions. Her expressions are a bit exaggerated and can switch tones in a heartbeat, which comes off as disingenuous to some. Prefers to subtly hint at her wants (sometimes passive aggressive).

NBC! Cloche is a snapshot of Cloche’ optimism and drive before losing it all. She had always lacked empathy from the start, treating altruism as nothing more but a social obligation. NBC! Cloche overcompensates for her apathy towards others through helpfulness, even if it means self-sabotage.

[RSA! Cloche]

A stubborn girl who will only cooperate on her terms. Not very expressive unless she has strong personal opinions on a topic. Quick to make sarcastic remarks and crude jokes to steer conversations away from sore spots, sometimes coming out as a bit self deprecating. Will not hesitate to be blunt as long as she’s stating the facts.

RSA! Cloche is the perfect balance of identities after Cloche finds her sense of self. After coming to terms that feigning emotions and acting like they don’t exist are both exhausting, she decides to act a little more true to herself. Despite the improvements, nihilism still runs strong in her blood and she has difficulty imagining a future.

[Stepping In]

NBC! Cloche had always dreamed of going to a cleaner, nicer school. Now that she’s actually thrusted into one, she’s having second thoughts. She’ll play nice and try to get into Rollo’s good graces, but finds herself drifting to the “troublemakers” of the school over time. The student council’s unofficial “barista”.

RSA could have been the perfect isekai and escape if it wasn’t for one thing, that damned hoodie. Does it really belong to Cloche? Nobody knows. Aside from a couple gasps and eyebrow raises, the student body is more concerned with getting Cloche back home and adjusting her to this new world with magic. She’ll complain about RSA’s stuffiness, but she’s never met a community so welcoming and kind before. An honorary dwarf hanging around Neige. (After some Magicam stories and appearances, conspiracists speculate she’s a hidden sibling of Neige)

[Notes]

• I did always imagine them to have their own curses, like NRC! Cloche, but not sure if I wanted them to make it to the final cut. NBC! Cloche would be cursed with obligatory honesty, and RSA! Cloche would be cursed to always do what she perceives as the right thing.

• Since NRC is the only school to specifically be a boy’s school (iirc?), Cloche has her women’s rights again.

• During the events of Glorious Masquerade, all Cloches side with NRC in the end. NBC! Cloche is like that one NPC who gives helpful information/lore, and RSA! Cloche ends up with NRC, since Neige and Chenya wouldn’t want a defenceless junior hanging around as they sacrifice themselves.

• RSA! Cloche would 10/10 dye her underlayer an array of colours, but I left it white as a blank canvas. (May also be a hint to tie to Neige). NBC! Cloche still has virgin hair.

• I’ve had this idea marinating since forever and I’m happy to finally do something with it!

• I do have a mini AU/idea where all them coexist at the same time, and there’s a big dilemma in which Cloche to keep/send home. All schools advocate for their Cloche to be the “main” Cloche allowed to exist.

• I’ve always wanted to dive into Cloche as a person and her growth over time— not just her brooding over the cat maid shebang 😭

• To be completely honest- RSA! Cloche started as an old throwaway joke of “what if isekai’d with ahegao hoodie” and I guess I’m sticking with it. She’s not a coomer I swear- For a more fleshed out explanation, Cloche ran away from home wearing the hoodie instead of any else, cause it’s the only jacket she bought with her own money and wants to make a statement of leaving everything she doesn’t own behind. Mystery solved 😔

Twst Unveil Event Part 3

Philomela: I hope everyone had a good night's sleep!

NRC, NBC, and RSA: YES!

Philomela: Great! Because you all are going to experience some body pain today!

The students: ...

Epel: Haha... Not everyone seems excited now.

Yuurin: She's never good in motivating anyone.

Malleus: How come she became your mentor?

Yuurin: My mother.

Malleus: Oh.

Philomela: I'll be explaining to you the mechanics now!

Philomela: Today will be the elimination round! You are free to attack anyone you please! And you have all the permission to use any type of moves even magic to your own advantage!

NBC student A: Eh? Isn't this a wrestling event?

NBC student B: If magic is involved, then we'll have better chances of winning.

RSA student A: Won't it be fair to not use any magic at all?

RSA student B: Yes. It feels wrong.

Philomela: Ha! Why? Do you think you can win just because you use magic?

The students: ...

Rook: Madame is right! There are many factors we need to consider!

Ruggie: Hm. Yuurin, you never used magic in any of your wrestling competitions, did you?

Yuurin: No.

Jack: I see. Does that mean...

Yuurin: Philomela is not impressed to any of them. That's why she's willing to give them a leverage to make this match worthwhile.

Floyd: Ne~ Mrs. Whale~ What other things we should remember for this elimination round?

Philomela: Nothing much, except that you have 30 minutes to fight anyone.

Floyd: Yay~!

Jade: Oh dear... *chuckles*

Epel: Can't I really join?

Rook: You'll get yourself hurt, Monsieur Crabapple.

Epel: *pouts*

Sebek: I promise to win this round, Waka-sama!

Silver: This is only an elimination round, Sebek.

Malleus: Do your best, Sebek, Silver.

Sebek/Silver: Yes, Waka-sama!/Malleus.

Ruggie: I guess this is the part where we start recording—

Philomela: Spectators! There is a designated room for us!

Malleus, Ruggie, Jack, Jade, and Epel: Huh?

Philomela: *leads them to a room that offers a panoptic view of the locations in the Kingdom of Heroes*

Epel: Whoa... *in amazement*

Philomela: Sick, isn't it?

Jade: Indeed. I've never been to such place before.

Jack: Ah! I can see everyone clearly!

Philomela: *laughs* Yes! This room will cater to your needs! Foods, drinks, and a good entertainment!

Rollo: *looks displeased*

Neige: This is great! Principal Ambrose will surely love this place!

Epel: Neige Le Blanche?!

Neige: Hello~!

Malleus and Ruggie: Flamme/Rollo.

Rollo: ...

Rollo: It's a pleasure to meet you again, mages.

Malleus and Ruggie: *smirks*

Jack and Jade: ???

Philomela: Everyone! Take your seats!

Epel: Um... But there are no seats— *a seat in front of him appears*

Epel: ...

Philomela: This room will cater to your needs. *smiles proudly*

The students: *listening to Philomela's voice*

Philomela: BOYS! ARE YOU READY?

Floyd: Can we do a war cry~?

Philomela: *laughs* YES!

Silver: Good luck to you, Yuurin.

Jade: That's Floyd for you.

*Floyd unleashed a flurry of clothesline strikes, taking out multiple students simultaneously with each powerful swing.*

Ruggie: Poor NBC and RSA students.

Malleus: Sebek and Silver are doing well.

*Sebek asserts his dominance by executing his running bulldog move; swiftly seizing his opponents by the head and driving them face-first into the ground with decisive force.*

*Silver expertly wraps his arm around the neck of each approaching opponent, applying precise pressure to cut off their air supply and induce unconsciousness.*

Epel: Wow... Everyone is amazing— Wait. Where's Rook?

*Rook's grin widens as he expertly locks his poor opponent into the sharpshooter.*

Epel and Ruggie: ...

Ruggie: That savage.

Jack: Ruggie-senpai! Look! Some of the students are attacking Yuurin!

Philomela: *smiles*

*Yuurin remains composed as everyone closes in on her. Then, she swiftly grabs one attacker, lifts them, and slams them to the ground with a powerful spinebuster move. With each opponent, she repeats this action, using their momentum against them to quickly take them down, one by one.*

Epel, Jack, and Ruggie: ...

Ruggie: Oh shit, wait— I need to document this.

Floyd: Whoo-hoo~! This feels great~!

The students he defeated: *groaning in pain*

Sebek: Ha! I've defeated 25 students!

Rook: Oh! That's impressive, Monsieur Crocodile!

Silver: Should we be counting?

Sebek: How about you, Yuurin?! Bet you didn't—

Yuurin: *students piled up like a mountain beside her*

Yuurin: It seems we're the only remaining ones.

Floyd, Sebek, Silver, and Rook: ...

"Are you mad, Jamil?" Kalim asks with a tilt of his head. "Jahzi seemed fine with you-"

"This time, he was fine with me, this time." Jamil sighs. "You remember that he used to throw Amur at me constantly, right?"

"I was unaware you had a cousin, Kalim." Rollo voices before the heir could add onto what Jamil said. "I know you had little siblings, but cousins?"

"Yeah!" He beams and places his hands on his hips. "He and his family used to live on the estate until they moved away! It was really nice to see him again!"

Jamil shakes his head and lowers his voice. "Now which one of us is going to tell Vil where he has to go?"

Kalim flinched. "Um...."

Rollo raised an eyebrow. "Is there something wrong with Nevemela that Vil has an issue with?"

"My, my." They jolted and turned to see Vil towering over them. "Talking about me while I'm in the room? How shameless."

"H-hey, Vil!" Kalim rubbed the back of his head and gave a laugh.

"Apologies, Vil." Rollo gave a small bow. "We were discussing Neve-mmph!"

Kalim and Jamil shoved their hands over Rollo's mouth and the Scarabian duo slowly turned to see a dark look appear on Vil's face with a twitch of his eye.

"Nevemela?" He whispered. "Potato is in Nevemela?"

"R-Riley hinted at her being in there.... with Neige..." Kalim muttered.

Vil took a deep breath, cleared his face, casually pulled Rollo free of the pair, and made his way towards the archway with the image of a bird on the emblem. Rollo let himself being confusingly dragged along while the model waved Epel and Rook to his side. They entered the portal and the sound of chirping birds filled the air. A chill breeze blew through the air and rustled the trees. In front of them lay a series of small cottage houses encased around the area, creating what looked like a border separating the cottages from the woods.

It was very quiet as it seems like everyone had retired to their homes for the remainder of the day... all apart from a deer beastman coming towards them.

"V-Vil Schoenheit and co!" He stood straight up. "I am Julies Roan, vice leader of Nevemela!" Julies' ears fell. "Forgive us for having no one to greet you as you came in, but Neige was on the phone with his producer."

Vil took a breath. "It's fine. We're actually visiting the dorm to see if Pot-" He corrects him self with a small cough. "Apologies, if Yuu Homura happened to still be here."

"Queen Homura?" Juiles tilts his head as Rollo has to have the back of his shirt tugged by Rook before he can even think of jumping the poor beastman. "I recall her getting frustrated with Neige and the lack of ability to access her phone. She asked who could fix it and I pointed her towards Nimbus. Had I known you were coming, I would've asked her to stay for a few moments longer."

Rook comments. "I'm sure Madam Trickster wouldn't have stayed here for long anyway."

"Right, she ain't too fond of Neige." Epel mutters behind them.

Vil turns to glare at Epel, making his straighten up and apologize, before returning to Juiles. "Then we'll be leaving-"

"Vil-san!"

Vil closes his eyes and sighed through his nose as Neige came bounding up to them.

"....Hello, Neige...."

The youthful looking boy smiled and hugged the model, unaware of the flinch that went through his body.

"It's so nice to see you again!"

"Mmhm."

Neige looks over at Rollo and he feels himself backing up as he spots the boy's bright shining eyes staring right at him.

"You must be Rollo-san!" Neige hugs him next and Rollo feels the wind get knocked out of him. "You're much cuter and prettier in person than Mademoiselle Yuu's picture!" He grabs his face. "Oh wow! And your eyes are beautiful!"

"U-um." Rollo looks to someone for help as Vil steps forward and pulls Neige off of him.

He quickly moves away and places his handkerchief over his mouth.

"If that's all, Neige, we really must be going." Vil hands him off to Julies. "Sorry for troubling you."

"Oh, it's okay! You're always welcome here, Vil-san!"

They head toward back towards the entrance, Rollo's started to get more haggard over this whole "Journey". Vil pulls him aside and motions for Rook and Epel to continue on without them.

"I should've warned you about Neige's eccentric side." He fixes Rollo's hair and adjusts his clothing. "I know how much you value your personal space and he has no knowledge of what that word even means. I'm sorry."

Rollo sighs and nods his head. "Thank you for pulling him away at least. How many blasted dorms must we visit before she's returned to us?"

Vil gives a small chuckle. "You and Potato really are a pair, aren't you? She keeps you in check, while we can not." He moves towards the portal. "Just try not to burn anything out of frustration, Yam."

He follows after him. "I wouldn't have to if they just returned what they stole...."
