Also he's the guy who sold my buddy Karlach to devil slavery.

Well as of last night I’ve finished my first dark urge run…. And I already miss my tav. 🥺

Like, I know I can just head canon and write fanfic about post campaign stuff but I’m still sad that their game is finished. (I mean, yes, I could start their game over but I’m trying not to do that. Maybe a while down the line I’ll do a replay but not for while). It was so much fun and they’re probably one of my favorite ocs I’ve ever made. So I might be ranting about them for a few days lol

Thinking about posting a few pics of them as they’ve grown throughout the story but I’m undecided. Honestly I could talk about my Tavs till the cows come home so I’ve been trying to stop myself from just going off about them whenever I have the chance cuz I don’t wanna be annoying 😅

As you might know, Janthir Wilds is dropping soon (20th of August to be precise), so I wanted to "steal" an idea for an event that ffxiv side of things did before the release of Dawntrail, (Count) Down to Dawntrail. I did not want to do it by expac, and we haven't had a Commander Week community event in forever, so here it is! Commander Week 2024 (24th of July - 31st of July), hosted by yours truly!

Who can participate? Anyone who's ever played gw2 in their life. Bonus points if you're all caught up on the story! What kind of content is allowed? Writing, art, screenshots, edits, any creative outlet you want! Even poems are allowed. It doesn't have to be new writing either, as long as it fits the prompts :) Is it a nsfw event? Please refrain from any spicy/nsfw stuff. This is a strictly non-spicy event. Will there be spoilers? Yeah! Please tag them accordingly if they're newer content (EoD and SotO primarily) but this isn't a spoiler free event by any means. Is shipping allowed? Full speed ahead, my good Commander. Full speed ahead, if that floats your skiff. Are Wayfinders included? As long as they're the same as your Commander, sure! This event assumes that Wayfinder = Commander, so if they are separate characters for you, please focus on the Commander.

In the aftermath of Heart of Thorns, on learning that Caladbolg has chosen him in the wake of Trahearne's death, Rhenn refuses the call.

Trahearne was the first real friend he ever made, the first person to reach out a hand to help him start lifting himself up from the Inquest and his father's control. He had lost his first real friend to the battle against the dragon, by his own hand, with this very sword... and now he was meant to carry the sword that had once been his?

Instead of reforging the broken, cursed blade, Rhenn stabs it into the ground next to Trahearne's memorial. There it remains, rooted like invasive roses, refusing to be pulled by anyone by its chosen wielder.

It will only let itself be removed when Rhenn decides to take up the call or until he dies.

You can probably guess which one will come first.
