funny story,,,,,,,,,,i had to think about what hypothetical dynamic i think they would have a few days ago and the answer i came to was, unstable? They both have a history of being hurt by people they trust, so letting people in is hard. But they make each other feel comfortable enough to speak openly and without any people pleasing in the way. They act bluntly towards each other and apprecoate that, and when one does nice things for the other, theyre aware that it isnt because theyre looking for something to gain but because they like being friends.

The problem is that while Jade has a problem of always putting other’s above themself, Lilac has a problem with always putting themself above anyone else, acting in paranoia because of it. Jade is ready to try letting people in again, but Lilac has this attitude that nobody can hurt them if they hurt others first. They’ll get their shit together eventually, but they need time to grow until then.
