#obviously. not actually theft...#i was gonna say these are public domain but covent garden actually isnt yet #it will be. in two years.#thats the most different one though like i added a whole new guy..#maybe not the most different. barberini faun is pretty different i just took the post #pose #its barely even a study. thats not true #but. what was i saying.#oh its not theft it's study... the purpose is to learn!!! but also. if im gonna spend like 2 days on something...#its GONNA be my guys #otherwise. idk. i only want to spend 30 or so minutes per study #just to get the notes down and the practice for the skill im working on #i dont get all that much more out of completely rendering a master study. PERSONALLY.#at least definitely not enough to be worth taking 100x longer #but making them my characters makes it worth going all the way!!!#plus it's good practice w like. not just going 1:1 but actually genuinely interpreting whats there so i can manipulate it...#again. personally. this is just how i worm #WORK #youd better worm bitch #uhm... anyways yeah. ive done lots of study but why TF share it LMAO i dont even save it #its just to learn. ive got 1 million other drawings to save and look at later.#once the learning is done it's done its job and i have no need anymore #this is why the only studies i have are from school. i had to save and upload them #well. ok also i dont study as much now BUT in my defense im a full time artist #an hour or so a week is different ok im learning while working too.. i learned how to learn and i do it all the time now #master studies #digital art #my art #illustration #my ocs

#(spongebob rainbow meme) autism #if i've ever reblogged your post to correct your na'vi grammar/OC name i promise promise promise i wasn't doing it to be rude #or as any sort of personal attack or criticism #the na'vi language is just a special interest of mine and i really love sharing information about it and helping people who are new to it!!#but also yes i acknowledge that at the end of the day it doesn't *really* matter if tumblruser29's na'vi oc has an “invalid” name #as long as they're happy with it #but boy howdy does the infodump side of me still want to fix it #...yeah this is why i very seldom reblog other people's OCs even if I really like the concept/design/art 😅#because i know i won't be able to resist fixing the names #and i'm aware that most people will probably find that more annoying than helpful #i'm more likely to bite the bullet and do it anyways with grammar mistakes #because with OC names a lot of the time there's a good chance the person isn't actually interested in learning the language #they simply want a cool name for their character #but if someone's trying to string together full phrases/sentences I assume they have at least some interest in actually learning #so I want to step in and help out #but...yeah #lì'fya leNa'vi #na'vi oc #my art #comic

“Behave.” He scolds with no heat behind it.

“Mhm, yessir.” Buck purrs, his lips moving across Tommy’s bare shoulder.

“Fuck.” Tommy breathes out and completely stills, and Buck can’t really see his face but he knows his boyfriend closed his eyes and is trying to calm down – which can’t be easy with Buck still plastered against his back. “This food is gonna burn if you keep this up. And we have guests to feed.” He adds, and as if to make a point, he flips a slightly overdone burger, Buck hindering his movements just a little bit.

Before he can respond, he hears another voice get through the chatter and music and reach his ears.

“Buck!” Chimney calls, and Buck looks over his shoulder to find everyone’s eyes on him, amused expressions on their faces. “Don’t distract our cook, we’re starving!”

“I’m just scolding him for taking his shirt off.” Buck says easily, then adds a little louder, to Tommy but making sure everyone hears, “Babe, you’re gonna burn yourself, you’re a firefighter, you should know better.” He shakes his head, and Tommy looks back at him with a raised eyebrow.

“Oh, you’re gonna pretend like you don’t approve?”

“Oh, I so don’t, Tommy, at all.” Buck tries to keep a straight face, but a chuckle bubbles out of him anyway. “You’re such a distraction, this is dangerous for everyone here.”

“I think you’re the only one with that problem, Buckaroo.” Hen laughs, and only then Buck remembers everyone’s still paying attention to them. It’s so easy to get lost in Tommy, to feel like it’s just them, even in a crowd of people. So distracting. It’s a hazard, really. He should keep Tommy away from everyone, preferably locked in the bedroom with him, for everyone’s safety.
