So if nova is dating Bumi how does the family feel about them?

Feelings about Nova are very mixed and vary from person to person. The "family" is going to include Lin because Nova was created for an AU with married Kyalin.

Detailed answer below the cut

Katara: At first she was like, "Oh what a handsome man Bumi has brought home." And then Katara found out that Nova has idol worship issues and ALSO knows that she's a fucking bloodbender, so they were on thin ice for a while, but Katara came to respect them as both a healer and as Bumi's partner. 8/10

Kya: She honestly fucking hates Nova so much. Kya and Nova got off on the wrong foot 17 times in a row and things don't appear to be turning around, EVER. The mean-mugging levels are off the charts when the two of them are near each other. Every interaction is almost a waterbending agni-kai. 1/10

Tenzin: Tolerates Nova because he's Pema's healer and Bumi's boyfriend. He appreciates that Nova is a quiet person, but it creeps him out that Nova's face is unreadable. Tenzin sees how happy Bumi is around Nova, but doesn't like that the kids took so long to come around to them. 6/10

Air babies: Meelo is the only air baby with a confirmed hit on Nova. None of them liked him at first but eventually Ikki came around when she saw Nova holding Rohan. (Bumi gave Nova Rohan to hold because he thought it would be funny. He was right.) Ikki was the first kid to call him Uncle Nova, then Jinora picked it up too. Meelo calls him "pretty boy." Mixed results. 6/10

Pema: Pema liked Nova from the start because they were the only one besides Katara who wasn't scared of Kya. Their healer/charge relationship got off to a rocky start and Pema has lost her cool and yelled at Nova more times than she'd like to admit. At the end of the day she wouldn't change her time with them. 9/10

Lin can't fucking stand them 90% of the time because they're a sarcastic cunt, but Lin has cried over the thought of them getting hurt because she actually does care about them. She would just never admit it. She thinks that Nova and Bumi are good together, but wishes they would stop having quickies when she's like... practically in the next room. 7/10

I’m submitting @sleepingsun501's drawing of Fox, Wolffe, Cody, and Nova. Erin did an AMAZING job capturing the brotherly camaraderie between these four. The way they’re smiling and laughing and just relaxed around one another is exactly how I imagined them in my head and I love seeing these four come to life! The details to their sweaters, scars, and hair are PERFECT. But I especially have to gush about Wolffe’s tattoos because Erin spent so much time researching, determining the meaning behind each, and then designing each part with such care for Wolffe’s past and personality. I’m simply in awe of this. 

Erin's work is PHENOMENAL, and this piece is no exception. I love the different expressions and how each depiction perfectly captures their character. Every detail is EXACTLY as it should be, and I love this so much! Thanks so much for sending it in!
