for ASGZ(and C if you want!) what do their genuine laughs sound like? like a full on heard or saw something really funny to them and then they're busting up (and if ur feeling it, what would each of them find genuinely funny?)
Ahhhhhhh!!! That is the CUTEST question, my friendo!! ❤️💖✨
~
AGSZC’s Laughs!
Angeal: A deep, throaty guffaw is this man’s specialty! The kind of full-on laugh that scares the shit out of you because it just BOOMS out of absolutely nowhere, often preluded by a verrrryyy long and shrill JK Simmons-esque squeal before the eruption.
What elicits this: “epic” fail videos that he finds on MuTube, stand-up comedy routines, and “Penne For Your Thoughts: The Ultomat-o Book of Food Puns!”
Genesis: Nothing short of hysterical, maniacal cackling that will send him crumpling to the floor in a breathless mass. He has been mistaken for a laughing hyena on several occasions.
What elicits this: Rom-Coms, comical violence, and embarrassinglybad horror films such as the critically-ashamed “ChocoBowed” (particularly the scene wherein the killer Chocobo fires its titular weapons at the bully character’s crotch). Very into black comedy overall!
Sephiroth: Low, quiet, but sincere chuckles is predominantly all that ever ripples from this man’s lips in terms of laughter. HOWEVER! There is one (1) recorded occasion wherein that vague chuckle ballooned into a song of true, heartfelt laughter <3 And it was a day that went down as one of the best in the other three SOLDIERs’ life.
What elicit(ed) this: Zack leaving a bottle of Super Stamp Soda in the freezer, proceeding to take the super swollen can out of the freezer, and then winding up with a supernova of soda dribbling off his hair when science resulted in it exploding in the poor boy’s face. Everyone in the room (Seph included!) burst into uncontrollable laughter, followed by a jumbo group hug that send the breathless General toppling on the couch when Angeal, Genesis, and Zack all assaulted him with a loving and incredulous embrace. All three eagerly await to day to hear that magical sound again <3
Zack: The most joyous, infectious, and authentic laugh you can possibly imagine!! Studies show that it is downright impossible to not so much as crack a smile when the young SOLDIER gets into one of these rapturous fits!!!
What elicits this: Literally anything that can be remotely taken as funny has a 4/5 chance of causing Zack to laugh. He also has an extreme comedy sweet spot for the word “Nibelheim” being spoken in any shape or form.
Cadet!Cloud: A very innocent, soft, and extremely endearing giggle is our trooper’s style! He doesn’t tend to reach all that high of a volume with his laughter (even in his most busted-gut states), but that doesn’t stop it from being an absolute ray of sunshine to the ears of anyone who hears it!
What elicits this: Silly Shreddit threads, gamer raging, and the word “Gongaga” being spoken in any shape or form.

The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari Dir. Robert Weine 1920 // Orlacs Hände (The Hands of Orlac) Dir. Robert Wiene 1924
I recently watched both, Caligari specifically because I was invited on a friend's podcast to talk about the film (I was totally normal about it and definitely didn't make color coded note cards about the making of the movie… I did, I did make color coded note cards). So I figured I would lump these two in one post to switch things up.
--- Even though we talked about the movie for an hour and change, the conversation we recorded for the pod easily could have gone longer. There's so much to unpack about The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari. Between its historical, cinematic, artistic, and cultural significance and legacy, but also the various players on and off camera, not to mention the film's genesis from concept to page to screen -- there's no shortage of rabbit holes to go down.
Something I wish I had brought up during the recording was the score: The score matters! These updated silent film scores really do affect the viewer experience, and they're so often hit or miss. Of course, the original score for Caligari has been lost to time, but I read that the premier of in New York had classical music (Prokofiev, Stravinsky, etc) played along to the screening; part of me thinks this would be fun to try to recreate. I have no memory of the music when I first saw the film in 2009, but when I rewatched Caligari about a year ago, early in my Conrad Veidt journey, I chose a version on Internet Archive (which is, as of late October, sadly still out of commission *cries in nerd*) and the updated score was almost entirely minimal strings, which created a suitably eerie effect. I couldn't find that exact version elsewhere, so I this time opted for the 2014 restoration that's on Kanopy. The 2014 score is… fine. It’s very busy, trying too hard to sound like a traditional movie soundtrack. There's another version with a really painfully bad guitar-heavy score that I couldn't sit through even 5 minutes of, and still another that's entirely synths. Apparently the new 4K UHD/Blu-Ray that was just released has two new options for the score -- hopefully at least one of them doesn't totally suck!
I noticed deep into my third time viewing the film that I hadn't reached for my phone once. These days, I'll occasionally pick it up and mindlessly scroll through social media while watching a movie. But I think Caligari and a few other silent films require closer attention since they're a purely visual medium. I found myself greedily devouring every frame of Caligari. No shot or scene feels wasted. Honestly, I feel like every movie should be 90 minutes long or less. Anything longer should be turned into a miniseries. But in all seriousness, Caligari is another film I want to physically walk into. It would be pretty easy to recreate these sets, life size in grayscale black and white. The more I think about this, the more I need it. So, so bad.
I also came away this time with a lot of questions, mostly about the main part of the narrative, the story Franzis is telling. But the framing device makes the questions pointless. If the main story is just Franzis's delusion, then the absurdity of the script is totally fine I guess? Except the script that Hans Janowitz and Carl Mayer wrote didn't have Franzis as a patient at the asylum, they hated the framing story twist that was forced on their movie, so all those weird parts of the script and character choices that I'm overthinking and reading too much into are rendered meaningless. It's all in Franzis's head! The story and the characters in it don't matter! Or else are just part of his subconscious! Face palm. Eye roll.
Does the movie even work without the framing device? It would be interesting to show an edited version of the movie without the first and last scenes to someone who's never seen it. And if the twist ending was supposed to dumb down the anti-authoritarian message of the script, I don't know that it's successful. In the end, I still have empathy for Franzis. And we still have an ambiguous ending: Caligari/The Asylum Director looks at Mad Franzis and says, "I know just how to cure him," and there's a creepy iris wipe in on Werner Krauss's face that maybe leads us to think Franzis isn't as delusional as we think he is. So like… even if the whole Dr. Caligari with his sleepy twink in a box story is fake, whatever is happening at the asylum is probably just as messed up if not worse.
Speaking of the twink in a box, I love that Conrad Veidt's German Expressionism is totally different from Werner Krauss's German Expressionism. They both trained and performed with Max Reinhardt, so their foundations as theater actors in the 1910s and 1920s were likely similar. But, regardless or in spite of that shared experience, they are diametrically different human beings and that comes across in their performances in this movie. These two actors are like the textbook definition of "showing" your art vs. "being" your art. Krauss as Caligari is like "ooOOOoo look how ooky spooky and evil I am!", whereas Connie's performance as Cesare, even though it's hyper-stylized, is infused with something deeper, something primal that feels believable in the context of the film.
If Cesare has been asleep his whole life, waking only to be fed Chunky Campbell's Soup and commit murder at Caligari's bidding, then no wonder he reacts the way he does when sleeping Jane finally brings him out of his trance. When she freaks out, he freaks out too because he's had no opportunity to learn how to behave like a human or how to filter his primal emotions in a socially acceptable way. He hasn't lived his life except to be a madman's puppet. He reacts to Jane's panic on instinct and impulse, his desire and fear feel feral, like he's more creature or an animal than a human man. He may not actually want to hurt Jane, but he reacts violently because fight or flight is a basic human stress response! He runs away and eventually collapses because his body can't handle the sudden onslaught of stress and emotion he's never before experienced! And this internal, instinctual tendency to violence is subtly alluded to in the final scene when Asylum Cesare both caresses and slowly picks apart the flowers he's holding. Ahhhhh, I have so many FEELINGS.
And that said… Connie's performance here is wild, but it's real in a way that Werner Krauss's work could never be because Connie was a spiritual humanist who cared deeply for others and Krauss was an anti-semitic piece of shit who therefore could NEVER dig deep enough into his soul or into the collective unconscious the way Connie did to breathe life into his characters. So everything Krauss is doing here and in The Student of Prague is all surface, it's "showing" the audience his training and his actor toolbox rather than bringing a level of honesty and in-the-moment groundedness to these roles.
This is not to say Connie's intense commitment to his work couldn't be, uh, excessive. I really hope Lil Dagover was being serious when she said he would lurk around the studio in character when off camera. Can you imagine? You go up to the craft services table for a snack. Suddenly you feel like you're being watched. You look up and he's looming over you in the shadows, his unblinking glazed eyes boring into your soul. God, I hope this happened and I hope whoever it happened to peed themselves a little.
I also wish we had a behind the scenes photo of Connie in costume with the Cesare dummy. I can't believe someone actually had to make that prop. It'll haunt me forever. (The 1920 Cesare Dummy isn't real, the 1920 Cesare Dummy can't hurt me.)
Bottom line: It's an important film, I appreciate it for both its timelessness and timefullness. But it's not a movie I need to revisit often, regardless of how enchanting Connie's nostril acting may be.
---
The first time I watched The Hands of Orlac, I was floored by the visuals, the staging, and the heavy eroticism. Up until that point, I hadn't seen very many silent films, certainly few as visually striking. I think my initial impressions of this film were somewhat muted on a second watch, but that may just because I knew what to expect.
This time, I wasn't as swept up in the magic of silent era German Expressionist cinema, although stylistically I'm still absolutely 100% obsessed. Art direction wise, this is my favorite between the surviving Wiene-Veidt films (I haven't seen Furcht and I don’t plan to). Orlac is like the darker, sexier, more grown up sister to Caligari's mall goth teen. It's Vampira vs Lydia Deetz.
Orlac is just as much if not more of a cinematic feat than Caligari. The production design and art direction alone feels more mature and in itself tells more of a story.
Very early in the film, we're thrown into a very impressive, very realistic train crash. Opening the movie this way was a really interesting choice -- we don't get to meet the characters before the accident that starts Paul and Yvonne Orlac on their doomed and bizarre trajectory. There is a brief establishing scene of Yvonne reading a really horny letter from her husband, and one of pianist Paul at his final concert before returning home. Then there's a very long sequence of the aftermath of the train crash that almost kills Paul, and this scene brings a level of realism you don't really get in other films of this genre/done in this style. The set construction looks expensive; the mangled train cars piled up in heaps may have been fabricated in the studio, but because of the lighting in the night scene, the billowing smoke from passing locomotives and fires from the crash, it looks pretty damn real for 1924. It's extremely effective and harrowing, especially as Yvonne races to the site of the crash and climbs through the wreckage to try to find her husband. The chaos of the scene, made all the more disorienting by the movement of search lights and the haze of smoke and steam, feels true to life. People are running around, pulling bodies from the ruined train cars, carrying them away on stretchers. Survivors look around dazed, clutching their belongings in shock. It's such a well directed moment in the film, but maybe not the first thing people remember about it. And I think it's inclusion is important because it offsets how weird the movie's about to get.
And boy, does it get weird. However, the doctor does say Paul suffered a skull fracture, so it's not a huge stretch to think he also has some kind of brain injury. So I wonder if that has something to do with how the filmmakers chose to show Paul's intense fear and paranoia, as well as the movie's shift in tone and style after his accident. The nightmarishness of the film, from the exaggerated performances to the set design, feels like an extension of whatever might be going on in Paul's head as a result of his injury.
Regardless, I love the choices the art director made. The set, especially the Art Deco mausoleum the Orlacs have for a home, is so perfect. The huge, cavernous rooms are completely unnecessary, but they make the characters look and feel so helpless, like dolls in a doll house. The lines of the walls and the furnishings draw the eye through the frame with just as much intention as the painted sets of Caligari. Even places outside their house become symbolic and iconographic. The news stand is just a window cut out of a massive wall of loose sheets of newspaper that takes up the entire frame. The interior of Orlac Sr.'s house is like a old, drafty castle, looking more like the home of an evil, miserly king. The tavern where Paul is confronted by Nera feels dank and subterranean, just a lamp or two removed from literal catacombs. The outer world is fully a reflection of poor Paul Orlac's inner torment and despair and I AM LOVING EVERY MINUTE OF IT.
The new music composed by Paul Mercer is perfect, too. It's all skronky violins and cellos, ominous percussion and piano. It's just atmospheric enough, creating moments of soundscapes, echoing footsteps, aural suggestions of the oppressive cave-like rooms where the story unfolds. There aren't really any memorable themes like in the updated score for The Student of Prague, but that works for this movie. I would buy this soundtrack and actually listen to it on its own, it's that good.
Everyone in the ensemble is basically on the same page in terms of acting style, no one feels out of place or miscast. Connie of course steals the show, but Alexandra Sorina as Yvonne gives him a run for his money. She's a good match for him, delivering an appropriately desperate and hysterical (and deeply, deeply horny) performance as the touch-starved wife. Their scenes together are maybe some of the best on screen romantic moments of Connie's silent film work because these two are wildly hungry for each other. This movie is so funny, it tells you immediately how horny it is; in the first 30 seconds of the movie, Yvonne gets a letter from Paul that says, "I will feel your body beneath my hands," like they're telling you straight up this is going to Horn Town. And the way she grabs at him, presses her open mouth to him, hovers over him in his hospital bed, she is DTF anywhere any time. And no shame, no shade, good for her. This is a sex positive film, and we love to see it. But she's not just the sexy wife, she's also totally ride or die for Paul. She truly trusts him and believes his absolutely buck wild story about being blackmailed by a dead psycho killer. What a gal.
Then there's Paul, aka Eraserhead Baby… because when he wakes up from surgery covered in bandages, he looks like the Eraserhead Baby. Connie is doing some of his finest nostril acting in this role, I have to say. As always, I am fascinated by his physicality and the choices he's making with movement and gesture. When his bandages are finally removed, he reacts as though drugged, his movements slow as though underwater or in a dream. And when he confronts his surgeon after discovering the original owner of his newly transplanted hands, he holds them out and away from his body as if they were coated in something dirty or disgusting. As Paul's life and sanity unravel, his hands and fingers are in almost constant motion, curling, twitching, clutching; his body language becomes more creature-like, moving in a way that calls up Cesare the sleepwalker -- interestingly, the two characters both seemingly at the mercy of forces outside their control.
We don’t get to know what Paul was like before the accident, how much this traumatic event changed him. There's something this movie is trying to say about trauma and how it affects people. The doctor tells Paul, "Nature and a strong will can overcome anything." But if Paul sustained any kind of serious brain damage, who’s to say his personality wasn't affected, or that he wasn't fragile and suggestible to begin with? Either way, in the wake of the accident, Paul's vulnerability and circumstance makes him a perfect target for Nera's grift.
Even without being targeted by a sick weirdo con artist, it's no wonder Paul's really going through it. He tortures and punishes himself relentlessly for something that wasn't his fault! (Been there.) He puts on a recording of one of his old concerts and crumples in grief for having lost not only his livelihood but also his outlet for creative expression -- not being able to do what you used to creatively because of trauma is REAL. He's trapped in his misery. Even his handwriting is different, now a violent scrawl he imagines is due to the murderous acts his hands supposedly committed. He secretly retrieves the planted murder weapon in order to further convince himself he's somehow become evil, wielding it as through he committed the crimes of the dead man whose hands now belong to him. And the scenes where Yvonne comes to him, wanting to both devour and comfort him, he cannot bring himself to touch her. Clearly they love each other very much and their relationship was very physical, so the agony and yearning in his face when she embraces him is UGH IT'S SO GOOD. It's heartbreaking. There's a lot to unravel here about trauma, body dysmorphia, and intimacy that I'm interested to dig into during subsequent viewings.
Final thoughts: There's an annoying part of my brain that wants the movie to make sense, for the timeline to be clearer, for loose ends to be tied up. But I know that none of that really matters because this movie is better received as a dream or a nightmare. And by that logic, it doesn't have to make sense. The Expressionist beats are being hit particularly hard, but the surreal quality allows the filmmakers and cast to get away with it. For fans of Conrad Veidt, this is a must-watch, even before Caligari -- he gets more screen time in this film, gets to play with his silent film artist's palette, and gets to do pathos like he's the king of tragic, pathetic characters. He's gangly, glassy-eyed, and trembling like a small wet dog the whole time and it's superb. Despite not really getting a chance to know the Orlacs before they're thrown into their own personal hell of body horror and credit debt, they're both pretty sympathetic. From psychological commentary to the erotic visuals and tension, it's all very ahead of its time.

So... I was reading an online discussion on a different platform about why Zack is so powerful and... basically everything they said was wrong 😬
Since I don't want to ruin anyone's fun or make anyone feel bad I decided to set the record straight here where the chances of them seeing it are nonexistent. So,
misconceptions about Zack Fair,
here we go:
He was (almost) able to stand up to Shinra army because he got more powerful from Hojo's experiments under Shinra manor after he snd Cloud were captured
Hojo's reunion experiment had absolutely no effect on Zack. This is revealed in one of the research documents which Zack can find lying around after breaking out of the mako tank.
Failed Case #1: SOLDIER 1st Class Summary: Desired effect did not occur. Strong tolerance to Jenova cells due to SOLDIER conditioning assessed as cause.
It is also confirmed by Hollander in Gongaga
Hollander: His cells are completely useless!
(To Zack)
Hollander: You are a former member of SOLDIER. Your cellular structure has already mutated.
It makes no sense Zack is strong enough to become a SOLDIER 1st Class when he's not one of the three to receive Jenova's cells as a fetus
It is true not many people are physically and mentally strong enough to go through the procedure to become SOLDIER and come out alive and undamaged. Even fewer make it from 3rd to 2nd Class, and most never make it to 1st Class. However, Angeal, Sephiroth, and Gensis were not the only 1st Class SOLDIERs before Zack become one. They were just the only ones important for his story. So other people like Zack became 1st too.
Zack is not particularly strong, he was only able to fight Sephiroth because, while Sephiroth was certainly strong while Zack was alive, it wasn't until after Sephiroth died that he started taking over the Jenova cells and he became the ridiculous monster we all know and love
Sephiroth was already the strongest being on the whole planet before the beginning of Crisis Core. It was just play-fighting, but he easily fended off both Angeal and Genesis with one hand in the Virtual Reality room scene, both of whom were 1st Class and especially strong due to getting Jenova cells as fetuses as opposet to as teenagers like other SOLDIER.
Also, in an interview, now archived, Nomura said:
Tetsuya Nomura (Sept, 2007): Zack was chosen as the main character as a representative of a "Before Crisis" era SOLDIER. Sephiroth is already the strongest in the world so there's no room for growth, and we couldn't possibly see ourselves making a "game over" type situation where Sephiroth loses
One of the first parts in Crisis Core was Zack saying “you’re not the only hero”. Sephiroth didn’t single handedly win the Wutai war, he just all the credit for it.
This is mostly correct, but as we saw from Nomura's interview this isn’t just Shinra's fake Wutai propaganda Sephiroth was the most powerful SOLDIER, and actually (as far as I could tell without knowing Japanese), in Japanese version Zack says: "I want to be a hero, too," not "You're not the only hero," so it probably had nothing to do with Zack saying Sephiroth is equal in power to others.
Angeal literally sees that Zack is hitting a slump and having issue growing in strength and puts him to train under Sephiroth to get past that for a while.
I have no idea where this came from. Zack never hit a slump, never had issues growing in strength, and Angeal never put him to train under Sephiroth. From the moment Zack ran away from his hometown at 13 to when he became 1st Class, something most never achieve, less than 4 years had passed. What slump?
Zack met Sephiroth after Angeal disappeared, and we only know about the training from two short D.M.W. scenes. It is not even clear of those were true training sessions, just Sephiroth's guidance during missions, or some third option.
Zack is incredibly talented, which is why Angeal trains him personally, he saw the promise in him, it is not normal for SOLDIER members to receive such a huge deal of attention from 1sts.
From other 1sts? No. From Angeal? Yes.
Angeal mentored other 2nd Class SOLDIERs before Zack. That's just Angeal's personality. You can find this out by talking to SOLDIER 2nd Class at the beginning of Chapter 4 in Crisis Core.
(However, it does seem Zack is the only one Angeal recommended for the 1st, since this guy is still 2nd Class)
SOLDIER 2nd Class: Hm... There was something my mentor used to tell me when I was a rookie. He used to say, "Embrace your dreams."
SOLDIER 3rd Class Lv. 7: "Embrace your dreams"?
SOLDIER 2nd Class: My mentor used to help me with my missions just like Zack helped you with yours.
I feel Zack was promoted to 1st class because of lack of 1st class solders. Kind of like to boost the morale
He’s actually not as powerful as any of the other 1st class and is only promoted to that level in their absence.
These two came from two different people, but say basically the same thing so I'll address them together.
Even if Shinra or Lazard wanted a new 1st to boost the morale, they could have chosen any other 2nd Class SOLDIER, yet they only chose Zack, for a reason.
And choosing Zack was tricky due to his relationship to Angeal. Soon after they put him out of commission for a while and assigned Turks to guard him. If they needed a random 2nd to promote, Zack was the worst choice for the company unless he was promoted purely for his skills and power.
Sephiroth doesn’t care about killing Zach and mainly wants him out of the way while the other two are well into degradation when Zach faced them in combat.
Sephiroth seemed to very much care about killing the villagers and wants to kill all humans for destroying Cetra, who he thinks Jenova is.
There is no evidence Sephiroth went easy on Zack, but there is no evidence he didn't, either. Regardless, Sephiroth is canonically the most powerful so it's not a very important question anyway. He would have defeated Zack, and everyone else in a 1-on-1 battle, either way. Still, Zack held up against Sephiroth for quite a while and Sephiroth certainly wanted to get back to mommy as soon as possible.
But the most incorrect statement here is that Angeal and Genesis were weakened by degradation when Zack fought them. According to the Crisis Core Complete Guide, degrading increases sufferer's combat potential.
Zack likely is an average first class (not counting the trio) and shows it in his skill and strength. No implication from anyone (Turks or SOLDIER) that he is anything exceptional.
Chapter 4, Hojo's combat tests:
Hojo: Hm, impressive... I think you have what it takes to be a study sample.
Zack: Whatever that is, I don't think I want it.
Hojo: You should be proud of yourself. It's only once every couple of years that we get someone like you.
Then Hojo gives him an even more advanced combat test
Hojo: Hehehehe. Hahahahaaaaa! You are a worthy study sample, indeed! You need not worry. Your remains shall become a valuable contribution to science. Now, my precious program, show him why I am great! All shall bow down powerless in your presence...
(Zack defeats the test)
Hojo: This... This is impossible... Wait... I have a new hypothesis... ...Yes. I am a genius, after all.
Zack: Ahem... I believe you were saying something about my remains?
...
Researcher 1: I didn't think anyone could beat that program... Are you really human? Aren't you actually a monster?
Researcher 2: I don't believe this... How could a human being beat THAT thing? Not even a SOLDIER operative should be able to-- Could it be a bug in the emulator!?
____________________
Ok, there's actually more inaccuracies, but I think I got the main ones and I'm really tired from typing. In short,
Zack's abilities don't come from any special procedures later in the game
We don't know how Zack compares to other 1st Class SOLDIER operatives since we never saw him compared with any other than the special trio
Zack was special. It was most likely a combination of natural capabilities (to withstand the procedure, to have strong willpower, to be hyperactive...), his great drive to become a hero (he worked out very hard, and was obsessed with becoming a hero), and Angeal's guidance. I mean, someone among the regular SOLDIER 1st Class members is always going to be the best, why not Zack?
But while I understand looking for consistency in the story, I think this misses the most important thing: Zack was extremely special not because of his combat capabilities but because of his kindness, his empathy, his drive to do good, his ability to make friends and dissuade enemies, his willingness to sacrifice his own life.

Arabic Orthodox Chant - Holy Friday
Wadih Rahal
Taking down of Jesus from the Cross - Glory to the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit both now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen Thou who art clothed with light as a garment, when Joseph together with Nicodemus took Thee down from the Tree and he gazed upon Thee dead, naked and unburied, and in grief and mourning he lamented: Woe is me, my sweetest Jesus! A short while ago, the sun beheld Thee hanging on the Cross and it shrouded itself in darkness. The earth quaked in fear. The veil of the temple was torn. Now I see Thee willingly submitting to death for my sake. How shall I bury Thee, O my God? How can I wrap Thee with windings sheets? How can I touch Thy most pure body with my hands? What songs shall I hymn thy departure, O compassionate one? I magnify Thy Passion. I glorify Thy Burial and Thy Holy Resurrection, crying: O Lord, Glory to Thee!

Furusawa: It’d be helpful if you planned your new song around this project as well, I’ll leave it to you
Wataru/Rio: Yes.
Furusawa: It’s a big project so the direction will be stirred from over here but…
Furusawa: Is there anything you’re particular about?
Ren: a……………
Furusawa: Hm? Ren, something wrong
Ren: n-no. Everything’s fine….
Furusawa: Okay. Well, if there is something, just tell me later on if you want
Furusawa: Then, we’ll end today’s meeting here. You’ll be busy in the near future but good luck
Banri: Thank you very much
Furusawa: Yuuto. Stay back for a bit. There’s something I need to talk about
Yuuto: huh? o… understood
Wataru: Yuu. We’ll head back first then
Yuuto: yeah… see ya later
--[They leave]--
Yuuto: Furusawa-san, what did you mean by.. Talk?
Furusawa: You know what I’m referring to right?
Furusawa: It’s about your father
Yuuto: …guessed so…
Furusawa: Well off course. After the news broke you’ve been all over the place, I can’t just let it be either
Yuuto: did I… is it really that easy to see? I thought I was operating as normal…. But…
Furusawa: No self-awareness huh… then its pretty bad. So, have you been in contact?
Yuuto: With my family? …not in the slightest…
Furusawa: You…. Okay, listen to me. [--------]
--[Hallway]--
Banri: Will he be okay?
Ren: surely, it’s about his dad right…
Wataru: Since this is Furusawa-san we’re talking about, he’s probably talking to him so Yuu can get back to normal and calm down…
Rio: Well since Goryo isn’t the type to talk about his family on his own accord after all
Rio: We should also wait for him to feel comfortable enough to open up on his own as well
Wataru: Yeah, I’d say the same
Ren: Yuuto also has alot weighing on his shoulders right now too. So…
Banri: We should think about what to do from now on then. To lessen that burden on him
Wataru: Yup. I also want to get the new song concept down soon. Kikyo, maybe later we could have a meeting–
--[Footsteps]--
Ryuusuke: Woah, y’all were called by unc as well?
Rintaro: The only one not here is, your leader boy it seems
Wataru: Good work today. Yuu is currently talking to Furusawa-san at the moment
Ren: um. I’d like to apologize for not properly greeting you that time
Ryuusuke: Hm? ….oh~ that thing. We don’t really mind it so don’t worry so much
Ryuusuke: How-ever…
Ryuusuke: Nanahoshi. I need to tell you one thing.
Ren: Me..? What is it?
Ryuusuke: You… You’re not fulfilling your role as a vocalist one bit.
Ren: ….. —— Huh?
[Office]
Furusawa: Oh, good work today to you two
Ryuusuke: We arrived on time as requested
Rintaro: We met those Argonavis kids just now
Ryuusuke: The leader had this super muddled face when we passed by, something up?
Furusawa: Ah… well, just some stuff. More importantly, how are they in your opinions
Ryuusuke: Young
Furusawa: Well, if you’re looking at it that way then they’re always young. …plus, you know that's not what I meant
Ryuusuke: Being young isn’t a bad thing. The fresh vibe is a strong selling-point. The problem is… how long can they push through with just having ‘that’.
Furusawa: I see, as expected… I hope you’ll continue to look after them then
Ryuusuke: Yeah yeah, we don’t have a choice but to listen to your requests
Rintaro: So, what’s the main topic?
Furusawa: I’m sure you already know about it but… its about the project that Iryuu Koga is involved in
Furusawa: Hah! You don’t even need to ask, you have your answer
Ryuusuke: We’re joining it. Ain’t that right, Rin-chan
Rintaro: Of course. What Ryuusuke wants, is what I also want after all
Ryuusuke: It’s a dream come true kind of opportunity. We’re making a new song for this, and use his arena to give him the good ol’ one two…!

Hello! I apologize to everyone who comes to me asking about the Legacy History Challenge because it took me so long to make updates. My notebook had problems and I was unable to play. The game crashed a lot and the Sims didn't move from place even when playing with low graphics. This is a problem for anyone who plays with 16 Sims in their family and at least 30 in the area like me. Two Sims in the family in the base game was already unfeasible.
Now I replaced the battery cable and the HD with an SSD and discovered that the performance problem was caused by the battery power supply. The new problem is the lack of space for 100 GB of CCs. However, this is an easier problem to solve. The game is running, so everything is fine!
I played the Genesis Prologue again and need to write the story to post here. Now I'm in Paleolithic gameplay. Testing what is possible to complete according to my rules and trying to make my own mods, but it's not working out very well.
Eu joguei novamente o Prólogo Gênesis e preciso montar a história para postar aqui. Agora estou no Paleolítico de novo. Testando o que é possível concluir de acordo com minhas regras e tentando fazer meus próprios mods, mas não está dando muito certo.
I made my Aliens Egyptian Gods for the Ancient Age. The Sims is a game that takes a lot of time to customize. In addition to having to look for CCs. And I'm updating the Spreadsheet to go to the next Age, as well as making small changes to the rules.
This part of the Calendar is the most complicated because historians have several chronologies and there is no record of when certain rulers reigned millennia ago. For all these reasons, this is a very extensive challenge, but I intend to post again.
Essa parte do Calendário acaba sendo mais complicada pois os historiadores tem várias cronologias e não há um registro de quando determinados governantes reinaram milênios atrás. Por tudo isso, esse é um desafio muito extenso, mas eu pretendo retornar a postar.

■ A World Where Fear and Anxiety is Visualized
Where Fantasy Meets Reality
The story takes place in a nation consisting of three countries populated by eight tribes called the United Kingdom of Euchronia. For the player, it is a world of fantasy, but those living in this fantasy world naturally have their own “fantasies.”
“In this world, there is only one tribe. All people accept each other, and no soul is born into discrimination. In such a world, there is no need for sorcery. A megapolis is built through learning and labour. Towers of glass that reach the heavens. Safe nights with no dark shadows. Busy streets well travelled. And in the laws of these emotionally satisfied people, it reads: All lives are equal.”
A fantasy envisioned by people living in a fantasy world, dreaming of a world not so unlike your own. Both the player and the world’s inhabitants think of each other’s worlds as impossible—mere stories.
But is it truly impossible? What is it that makes us think we can’t change that?
“Anxiety:” A simple concept and yet a complex emotion that the game will explore.
—This is a Fantasy
Only Those Who Face Their Fear and Anxiety Have the Power to Awaken
“Magic” is a general term for a phenomenon that consumes “magical power” and causes effects that defy the laws of nature. However, the inhabitants of Euchronia are unable to use magic on their own. Magic requires a special tool called an “igniter,” the possession and use of which requires a license.
The protagonist and his friends awaken and begin to master magical powers that defy this convention and need for “igniters.” An “Archetype” is a primordial secret power that awakens by facing your fear and anxiety. Put another way, it is the awakening of the nature of a hero that lies dormant in people’s hearts.
—The Protagonist Awakens
■ The Eight Tribes
With humanity transcending borders in real life, the game refers to those of distinct personalities and cultures as “tribes” rather than races of a nation or ethnicity.
The people who live in the United Kingdom of Euchronia, where this game is set, are divided by the concept of “tribe.” While they all have different physical characteristics, it is their cultural differences that come into focus within our story. The divisions that separate the tribes are primarily caused by their respective ideologies and beliefs rather than physical differences and appearances. Such beliefs are things where people should be able to find common ground, and yet they live in a reality where their future is influenced by their birth.
Clemar Tribe
The clemar tribe composes the largest population across the allied kingdoms. Their most distinctive features are the horns which grow on both sides of their head.
Clemars have a broad diversity of facial and body types, which has essentially made them average and common.
The Euchronian royal family are clemar, and members of this tribe hold a majority of important positions within the government. As a result, many clemars internalise the belief they are the most preeminent tribe.
Clemars value freedom and dislike illogical restraint. They enjoy cultivating discussion, but do not always consider the situation or appropriateness of doing so, which occasionally leads to conflict.
—Batlin, Sanctist Church Crier
Roussainte Tribe
One of the most populous tribes of the united kingdom, second only to the clemar.
Long, pointed ears are their most distinguishing feature. They often boast excellent physiques, which has given them superior martial prowess. Roussainte women are stronger than most men of other tribes.
Many inevitably work in the military and often hold key offices. They are considered as influential as the clemar, and the two tribes are sometimes called the “prevailing tribes.”
Many roussainte pride themselves on outperforming others in strength. While this can be perceived as a self-disciplined competitiveness, on the flip side, there are many with a belligerent temperament, obsessed with proving superiority in any situation.
—Glodell, Candidate for the Throne
Rhoag Tribe
A tribe whose members have longer lifespans, some living more than twice as long the average of other tribes. They age at the same pace until adolescence, spending the remainder of their lives in middle and old age. Perhaps as a result, the rhoag tribe conjures images of the elderly in many minds.
In a seniority-based society, rhoags often hold high positions due to their longevity. They place great value in eventually passing down their knowledge and purpose, so much so that they’re known to remember favours as well as hold grudges for three generations.
Though many rhoag have unique markings on their face, they are not born with them—they are a form of traditional make-up.
—Sanctifex Forden
Ishkia Tribe
A tribe recognizable by their avian wings, as well as their almond eyes and long eyelashes.
Though the fewest in number of the eight tribes, they have a reputation for their intelligence, giving them a strong presence in bigger cities.
Many find higher status in intellectual labor, such as scholars and sanctors and the like, making it not uncommon for ishkia to be wealthy.
Due in part to their regal stature, the ishkia are commonly admired. However, the act of speaking down on others has been ingrained in their nature for some, making it just as common for them to be resented.
Nidia Tribe
Characterized by their iridescent eyes and hair, members of the nidia tribe lack the conspicuously notable features of other tribes. They are known to be gregarious and talented at flattery. However, this temperament often leads to a reputation of being good with words yet untrustworthy or eccentric.
Paripus Tribe
A tribe recognizable by bestial ears and a tail. There are many variations in their hair and skin colors, including cold-colored skin not seen in other tribes. They are physically adept and often honest with their emotions, giving them a reputation for hedonism, for better or for worse. They are drawn to parties and festivities, and while this happy-go-lucky charm is often to their credit, it can also be seen as recklessness.
Due to this stereotype, they are looked down upon by other tribes which prevents them from securing a foothold in politics despite despite being nearly as populous as the roussainte and clemar tribes. The discrimination against them is especially obvious in large cities.
—Loveless, Candidate for the Throne
Eugief Tribe
Small in stature with bat-like wings and ears. Due to their singular appearance and low population, as well as their strong night vision derived from their nocturnal nature and keen hearing, it’s not uncommon for them to be perceived as unnerving, and they often become targets of discrimination. Most eugief live modest lives at the bottom of the social hierarchy with few positions of status. The eugief tribe is warm in nature, valuing harmony. The flip side of this is that they are often indecisive, second guessing themselves out of concern for what others want. This has lowered their relative status in the world.
—Lina, Candidate for the Throne
Mustari Tribe
A tribe recognizable by a third eye. They don masks and wear culturally-significant attire, which many among the other tribes find unsettling. Though their population isn’t necessarily low in number, the mustari are hard to come by, as most live in an archipelago in the inland sea.
As they believe in a unique faith, they are often targets of persecution outside of the island, denounced as “pagans.”
■ The Humans
The humans are designed based on the work of Hieronymus Bosch, a fantasy artist from the Renaissance era who is said to be the first artist that drew monsters on a world stage.
Bosch was a mysterious artist with a fantastical and eerie style—players can expect to be surprised (and perhaps horrified) by these foes.
Humans are unknown monsters with bizarre forms who rampage through their surroundings indiscriminately unlike any natural beast . Despite their berserk nature marking little sign of intelligence, they can wield advanced magic beyond the grasp of all sentient beings. Many aspects of their biology and ecology remain a mystery. Given their unnatural physical resilience, large specimens can wipe out entire armies.
Homo Gorleo
A human that attacked a fortress located in the wastelands north of Royal Capital Grand Trad. This fearsome monster singlehandedly drove the fort’s troops to total annihilation.
Homo Avades
A human with an indescribable eggshell-like body.
Even among larger humans, this one is both enormous and extremely dangerous, capable of leveling a city.
The only thing that the strange and irregular appearances of humans have in common is the presence of what appear to be elements resembling body parts in their biology.
■ Story Setting
A world unlike our own, where eight different tribes live in discord.
This is the United Kingdom of Euchronia.
Founded by a hero king and eventually annexing its neighboring countries, Euchronia has been long-governed by a strong royal family that inherited powerful magic. However, over the years, the kingdom has gradually fallen into corruption and is today torn apart by inequality and discrimination, its virtue in tatters.
The kingdom’s vast land is now infested with dangerous beasts and mysterious monsters called “humans.” To venture outside the city is to risk one’s very life.
With both the prince and the current king of Euchronia assassinated, the throne sits empty, and the kingdom reaches a tipping point of chaos and unrest.

Prologue
The protagonist embarks on a journey alongside a fairy to break the curse…
The protagonist is a boy of the elda tribe, a minority detested and not recognized by others. Alongside his partner, Gallica, he sets out to break the curse that has been placed on the kingdom’s prince whom many believe to be dead.
There is but one way to break the curse draining the life from the prince—to take the life of the person who cast it.
On a journey across the vast land, the protagonist will encounter numerous individuals. Through the bonds he forms with them, he will eventually come to realize the true nature of the kingdom.
It all begins with an incident that shakes the kingdom to its core—.

■ Introduction
Royal Magic that ignites a tournament for the throne…
More than ten years have passed since the assassination of the prince, heir to the throne of the United Kingdom of Euchronia.
And now with the king having succumbed to a fatal attack, the kingdom is in turmoil with no heir to set its course. Who will be the next king? Will it be the head of the state religion, the Sanctist Church? A lord of a neighboring principality, or perhaps the leader of the military?
As expectations rise among influential figures with their eyes on the throne, a “spell” is cast during the king’s funeral that no one could have predicted.
Time is finite before my soul departs this benighted world…
There shall come a reckoning—a Day of the Hero. Upon that October day, whosoever hath truly earned the greatest faith of the citizenry… shall ascend to throne and crown by right of kings.
The voice of the king, who all know to be dead, suddenly echoes in the sky. Upon the event of his death, he had arranged for a grand magic to allow all citizens to compete for the throne through his final, royal tournament.
The people are cast into turmoil over this unprecedented event, unable to fathom a world where the people decide the next king. Amidst this chaos, the protagonist decides that in order to fulfill his mission, he must participate in the race.
Thus begins the grand tournament for the throne that takes the entire kingdom by storm. Along his journey, the protagonist will find himself surrounded by a diverse group of allies, and a grand adventure that will shape the future of the kingdom begins.

■ Main Character
Protagonist (voiced by Natsuki Hanae in Japanese)
Together with the fairy, Gallica, he embarks on a journey to lift the deadly curse placed on his childhood friend, the prince of Euchronia.
He is a boy of the elda tribe, branded a “tainted” people by the state religion who believe the elda have inherited dangerous and heretical magic. Being so rare among the populous, they are detested and discriminated against throughout the kingdom.
—Arriving in the Royal Capital, Grand Trad
—Bandit Assault
Gallica (voiced by Sumire Morohoshi in Japanese)
Not only a traveling companion, Gallica is the guide who helps the protagonist carry out his mission to save the prince. Although she is too small to participate in battles, her knowledge of magic and ability to sense magla is superior to the protagonist due to her fairy nature. She doesn’t mince words, but she is a reassuring ally on his journey.
—Reading on the Gauntlet Runner
■ Allies
In a discriminatory society, the protagonist joins forces with allies from across the tribes. Each has their own reasons for desiring a better world. Influenced by the “heroic embodiment” that awakens in the protagonist, and they too awaken the same powers: An Archetype.
Strohl (voiced by Kensho Ono in Japanese)
He is a young man of the clemar tribe who meets the protagonist in the recruitment centre for the State Army.
A smart young man with a strong sense of justice, he hails from a noble family. And yet, it seems his circumstances are complicated, as it is rare for a noble to enlist in the army alongside commoners.
—Cooking with Strohl
Hulkenberg (voiced by Saori Hayami in Japanese)
A knight of the roussainte tribe and former member of the royal family’s Kingsguard who served by the prince’s side.
Despite her young age, she excelled in the use of various weaponry, and was assigned to the personal guard of the prince. But when the prince was attacked, she failed to protect him and set out to wander, carrying the stigma of this failure in her heart.
—Training with Hulkenberg
Heismay (voiced by Akio Otsuka in Japanese)
A former knight of the eugief tribe. He has acute perception compared to most others, due in part to the eugief trait of being sensitive to sound. With an appearance that differs greatly from other tribes, it’s not uncommon for eugiefs to be discriminated against—and it seems Heismay is no exception, his past his own burden to bear.
—Cooking with Heismay
■ Japanese Main Voice Cast

■ Director’s Visionary Statement
“This work was created with the simple message that ‘only by facing our anxieties can we take the first step forward.’
“As long as society continues to be composed of individuals, I want to believe in the dynamism of ‘creation’ that has the power to change someone. While tackling this genre for the first time, I came to realize that perhaps this is the original meaning of ‘fantasy’—and the reason why so many people have always been intuitively attracted to it.
“But I’ll dispense with the philosophical talk for now by pointing out that unifying goal for the entire development team was for the player to have ‘fun, above all else.’ Thank you for your continued support.”

C O N N E C T I O N S
Kunsel Reis Zantos has come to know a lot of people over his life — passing acquaintances, petty rivalries, best friends, bitter betrayals, distasteful coworkers and people that would forever carve a place into his heart.
His constant search for information would introduce him to people across differing paths of walk, challenging his decisions and morality, making him question if the burden of knowledge is worth the drain on his conscience.
But if given a chance to go back? He'd only dig deeper, fight for a little more time. Repent for his inaction.
— The First Class Trio
Kunsel's relationship with all of them is in passing and strictly professional, but saying he doesn't have a personal bias would be a lie.
Angeal: The one Kunsel looks up to the most, he sees him as the most sensible one and has in fact told Zack he was kinda jealous he got to work with him so much - however, Kunsel kind of doesn't need tutoring nor does he aspire to be First Class like Zack, so their jobs together are limited. Still, he genuinely thinks Angeal has a good head on his shoulders, and he seeks to emulate his capability to lead and teach.
Genesis: When he was a dumb 13 year old kid falling for fluff propaganda pieces, Genesis was actually his favorite. Of course, there's this one saying: don't meet your heroes, kids. Kunsel considers him to be kind of hard to work with, and personally finds him to be not as charming as he believes himself to be. Still, Kunsel knows how to play nice, and he doesn't exactly have a personal gripe against the man. ( At least, not until the desertions. )
Sephiroth: A mystery, but Kunsel's aware there's more to the man than the creepy trash the fanclubs obsess over. ( Yes, he's part of all the fanclubs. ) Sephiroth rarely needs assistance on his assignments, and when he does it's usually other 1-C operatives, so they've never actually worked together - but they've spoken a few times when crossing paths or loitering in Shinra's archives. Mostly about work (or Zack) of course, but with some sprinkles of Kunsel trying his luck getting to know Sephiroth better. Nothing so far, but the boy loves a puzzle.
— Other SOLDIERs
[ REDACTED ] : Kunsel's proper mentor was instead another SOLDIER First Class, her records since expunged from company archives. He was taken under her proverbial wing after proving himself to be observant and persistent, traits that work well in the Intelligence division of SOLDIER. Although Kunsel's easy going on the surface, she helped him temper his thoughts and emotions and was an important part in helping Kunsel learning to compartmentalize his actions from his emotions.
Luxiere: Their relationship was once entirely surface level pleasantries, Kunsel well aware of the rumors of what Luxiere was willing to do or say in order to chase a promotion. However, when Luxiere finally breaks down his barriers and manages to establish a connection with him, having Kunsel share his inner most thoughts and that he was still searching for Zack - Luxiere stabbed him in the back, reporting this in hopes of gaining favor. They are entirely antagonistic, and Kunsel only tolerates Luxiere because it is his job to take care of other SOLDIERs.
Zack — Default: One of Kunsel's closest friends in SOLDIER, he considers himself to be Zack's number one hypeman — he doesn't particularly share Zack's drive to get promoted, but he knows it's important to him and so he'll help him however he can. He's a bit protective and overbearing, even knowing Zack can take care of himself, but he can't help it - he's a meddler and feels responsible for the guy even if Zack eventually outranks him. There's some mixed up feelings in the middle, but Kunsel waves it off as an one sided-crush on his part and never mentions it - why shake up what's already good? He's happy to just be good friends with Zack, and he respects him a lot - being in SOLDIER wouldn't be the same without him.
Zack — @meteorshcts : With a language in common, even if not the same exact dialect, they quickly attached at the hip after Zack joined the program, quick friends of circumstance as Kunsel helped Zack get acclimated with living in a big city on his lonesome. As they went through the trials of SOLDIER together, their bond only grew stronger, relying on each other in and out of combat, being the one person they could share everything with in a program that praised rugged individualism to seek out future 1st Classes. And with Zack's dreams of becoming one, Kunsel was quick to support him - even if he did try to warn him that it would probably be more hassle than it was worth. But… if there was one guy he trusted to handle that rank with some grace it was Zack. They are brothers, even if not by blood, and for a period of time Kunsel couldn't picture his life without Zack — for all the loss and tragedy that surrounded them in SOLDIER, a still hopelessly naive part of him refused to let him even consider that it would ever affect them, that they'd lose each other. Losing Zack was like losing a limb, a family member, and although part of his denial was due to not trusting Shinra's words… most of it was merely that, denial, refusing to accept the possibility of it being true.
Roche — Default: A hassle and a walking liability waiver. They're not close by any means, Roche joining the program after Kunsel had already established himself, but they're "friends" none the less. There's a latent worry on Kunsel's side, aware that the man's growing increasingly unstable, but there's nothing he can do personally when it seems like the Science Department is purposefully setting him free off leash.
Roche — @fourthclone : They were their own triad, once. Friends from different strokes of life that found connection in the hardships of SOLDIER, young dumb teenagers seeking fun, trying to outrun the weight of their responsibilities… But you can only run so far. Time and loss changed them both, shattered dreams and tore away connections that shaped them, leaving their edges jagged and uneven. They don't fit together like they used to — once soft, baby faced and idealistic, naive in their outlooks, they now handle each other like shards of glass, mere fractions of what they once saw in each other; something that cuts, something that stings… but something that needs caring, dealing with. The love is still there, but there's no going back from this - they're not the same people they once were, and no matter how tightly Kunsel clings he can't stop Roche from unraveling. This isn't something he can fix, something he can help with - all he can do is watch. More and more, that's all he feels he can do: take on the burden of seeing, of knowing, but remaining useless.
— Others
Turks: Kunsel feels generally uneasy whenever they're around, a personal bias tainting his interactions with them — but it isn't one without a valid cause. Kunsel might not have an inside view into the depths of their work and the layers under which they operate, but he knows enough to know he should trust them to do their job... no matter what that job is, and who their target is. Still, even with this ruminating in the back of his mind, he does enjoy working with them on occasion, purely in a selfish drive to try and glean their methods. As long as he behaves himself and doesn't warrant a termination, they've got no reason to get in his way. Him and the Turks tend to cross paths a considerable amount, considering his work in intelligence often ends up being taken by the Turks if it gets deemed too confidential. His personal favorite is Rude, mostly because the guy doesn't talk and they're both great at avoiding eye contact, followed by Cissnei because she can behave like a normal human being. Tseng is... Tseng, a figure that lingers in the background of his life and speaks of an unspoken warning: they know, and they're watching you.
Professor Hojo: If only he knew from the start what he comes to learn too late. To Hojo, Kunsel was nothing but another helmeted brute, a number in his ongoing human experimentation with a name that sounded vaguely familiar. To Kunsel? The Professor signified answers to questions he knew ran deeper than surface level platitudes Shinra offered, and his career started as a means to live in his peripheral vision, to shadow after the man — but he could never get close enough, some secrets kept too well. It's funny, in a way, how his life was so affected by the Professor and yet Hojo remains ignorant of his existence.
Cloud — Default: While they're at Shinra, he's a friend of Zack's, and that's plenty enough for Kunsel to be nice to him, even if Kunsel feels like Zack shouldn't goad him on and tell him he's fit for SOLDIER — Kunsel trains a lot of other SOLDIERs, he knows who does and doesn't make a good fit, not to mention that sometimes it's just a matter of mako resistance, and there's nothing you can do about that. After Nibelheim, however... He's a vague familiarity, an image super imposed into memories of his best friend — what few times they've crossed paths at Shinra are buried underneath the sum of their personal trials. He is ultimately neutral, and can be made either ally or foe depending on both of their choices. A kneejerk reaction is to assume Cloud's merely stealing valor, taking Zack's history for his own... but he unfortunately knows things are never that simple.
Cloud — @backwaterheroics : It's complicated. Infuriatingly so. Things would be easier if they both could stick to hating each other, settle in the antagonism of pure animosity, blame each other for a loss neither could be blamed for (and yet, paradoxically, blamed themselves for). Instead, they settle in the muddy greys — they're not friends, they're not enemies, they're not rivals, but they're not nothing. Friends of a friend long gone, they ghost through each other's awareness only by unpleasant chance, parallel lives that swerve into each other for fleeting moments. Still, there's begrudging respect... and maybe a sliver of jealousy on Kunsel's part — he sees in Cloud a violent freedom that he wished he could've followed in, but he was in too deep. A sunk cost fallacy made unable to perceive the traumas that froze him, and he held an attachment to SOLDIER Cloud would never understand, keeping him rooted to where he was. The question of "what if I followed him?" will be one that regretfully simmers in the back of his mind.
Aerith — Default: She's the girl in the slums, a nebulous concept he'd heard gushed about from Zack, his friend thrown in the throes of a relentless crush. They linger as acquaintances only, visiting her once Zack was gone only making the melancholy in his chest worse. The church was Zack's place, Aerith was Zack's friend and crush... and he's still not there. Kunsel feels like an outsider whenever he visits Aerith, feeling especially silly when he once felt threatened that she was taking his best friend away from him, but he meant it when he told her she could call him any time for help, however.
Aerith — @churchflower : She's his rose, his summer rain, a reprieve from a world where in he had to act and orchestrate himself on so many layers he began to forget who he was. It was never meant to grow into this, and he harbored ill guilt for far too long, disappointed in himself for getting attached as he did... but when weeks turned to months turned to years... There came a point where he and Aerith knew each other better than she and Zack ever did. They find solace in each other, and there's a mutual understanding — there's things he doesn't tell her, there's things she doesn't tell him... and they're comfortable with that, trust and love clinging on, even so. With her he can imagine a world outside of Shinra, a life where he isn't wrapped entirely around being an exemplar SOLDIER and with him she saw the sky, slowly pecked away at 23 wishes she once saved for a boy she thought got tired of her. He doesn't know what he'd do if he lost her, too.
#k.zantos 「 𝘔𝘌𝘛𝘈 」#k.zantos 「 𝘉𝘖𝘕𝘋𝘚 」#this is so much longer than it has to be BUT I CANT SHUT UP#kunsel has a lot of feelings ok. so many. he just puts a helmet on them.#spent all day at work writing this like a normal person

#Shezow #ThinkingAboutReviewingEachEpisode #MakinBank #Sheviews #MyThoughts
This is the only episode I remember watching during the summer when the Hub network first aired Shezow.
This title card gives me Sonic the hedgehog 1 start screen vibes.
Sonic the Hedgehog (Genesis) - The Cutting Room Floor (tcrf.net)
This show has a guitar hero like VR game and I also like guy's green spikey hair rock star hair.
I had to look up if there even was a VR guitar hero but there is a game similar to it.
I like it that when when Guy grabbed Maz into camo outfits he already had a sidekick character ready called Dan-o-flage.
Maz just saying there's a changing room while Guy is in Shezow form yet Maz is wearing stolen camo outfit.
I didn't see him pay for it unless he got it off screen.
Anyways the Little Moochers remind me of the Munchkins from the Wizard of Oz but do crime and they all have helium voices.
I like it that Shezow just joke about the bank not having a drive thru while also causing property damage by hulk smash breaking in the bank.
Couldn't Shezow just sneak through the vents or sneak around the back to cause less property damage?
Guy almost blew his cover as Shezow since he didn't do the fake female voice but good thing everyone was too busy with the crime to notice.
The battle music gives me Splatoon vibes 2:51-3:14.
I like it that Maz is useful and helping the bank hostages leave the scene safely while the battle is still happening.
I like it that it's canon that everyone knows that Shezow is sidekick less and gets called out on why Maz is here.
But I'm glad this cartoon gave the sidekick something to do instead of just having them be there.
My favorite pose for Shezow and the guard keeps messing up Dan-o-flage's name by calling him something other than his sidekick name.
Maz gets no credit since he helped move those people to safety while Shezow was busy fighting villains but all he gets is a pity clap from a random background character with no name.
But life be like that though.
Guy's expression is like "Hey there some money under my boot and don't mind if I do."
Which he shouldn't do and also where are the camera's in the bank that would catch Shezow stealing?
Also the autograph paper is the beta pitch design for Shezow which is a nice touch.
I remember seeing that design online when looking up the show at the time the show got cancelled and wanted to know more about it.
SheZow – Moody Street Kids (moodystreetproductions.com)
SheZow on Behance
This has the beta Shezow design photo as a silhouette that Shezow was signing as a autograph.
DHX Media Acquires Rights to Australian animated comedy series "SheZow!" (cartoonbrew.com)
Also there is a Shezow Cosplay outfit online but no bootleg plush of Shezow yet that I know about.
COWOWO Game SheZow Cosplay Costume SheZow Jumpsuit Bodysuit Cloak Halloween Uniform Men Carnival Cos Party Outfits Clothing - AliExpress
I like that the cops come in at the last minute to try to stop the crime but Shezow and Maz already got it.
Also I want a episode where it's just Guy's cop dad and his cop sidekick in a episode.
Like Shezow (Guy) just let's him have a cool hero moment to make him feel better maybe his dad would be less angry at Shezow.
I like it that the background music in the bank is just the Shezow theme but a elevator version of it and slower in speed.
It's a nice touch.
I like it that Guy's guitar strings broke in the VR game which symbolizes his guilt for stealing the money.
The only way Guy could get the full money back as a refund he might need the receipt but if it's a game store the game console might lose value.
I know from experience.
Apparently in Megadale 500 dollar bills exists but I'm not sure if the USA $500 is a thing you can still use.
Maz says "That's gangster." like a nerd thinking he's cool.
Also the show mentions that the cameras were on to record Shezow stealing and the secret identity thing which is a first for a cartoon calling itself out.
Most just pretend that cameras at the bank are not everywhere but the show did the oh yeah the bank didn't see the video so now you have a time limit thing.
This is before Tik Tok was a thing where everyone had cameras and recorded everything.
Oh yeah Shelia says there is a rule if Shezow steals literally anything then the shero will just shrink out of existence.
This is another reason I remembered this episode.
Later Guy proceeds to make fun of leprechauns and jockey's so basically small people.
I like how Guy is not freaking out that he is becoming Ken doll sized and is like this is fine then gets told it's a Shezow side effect that Guy will become Antman small.
Guy calls it Sherinkage and Shelia calls him a thug to his tiny face.
It's cool that the store returned Guy's stolen money VR game consle with a full refund even though Maz had the receipt.
Most stores wouldn't take it back without the receipt or give store credit instead of the full amount.
Also Guy returned it as a tiny being and I'm surprised no one thought he was a bug and tried to squish him or any animal wanting to eat him.
I would love to see that side of the episode.
Also the ring doesn't work when the side effect is in play so that's a nice touch to the lore.
Also is it double stealing if you destroy the bank camera footage?
Also the short jokes are everywhere and I like how Guy's voice is normal while the Little Moochers voices where helium sounding.
Also the cops like donuts joke thing.
Also Kelly holding mini Guy is a weird out of context image if you have never seen the show.
Oh the show found a loophole where someone else or a outside force has to destroy the evidence.
Also the show called out Maz for not paying for his outfit and gaslight him like the police is there.
But Maz still got away with not paying for his outfit but Maz doesn't have powers so it's good.
I give this a 8/10.
Fun Fact in the dub of the anime Mix Master there is a character called Chino who has the same voice actor as Guy Hamdon.
I got a request a long time ago that doesn't exist anymore of Guy in his VR rock gear guitar rocking with Chino from this anime.
They were both on model but in sketch form not colored in.
This episode made me remember this anime was a thing and I might review this too.

silly time. how do the firsts react to their s/o asking them if they love them? the childish way, a chirping broken record asking for attention. also because i'm sure genesis would kiss them breathlessly and then go "nah not at all"
Angeal plays along, being a big sappy doof and out-mushing them to get them embarassed.
Genesis, like you guessed, is mostly just being a teasing jerk, eventually just pretending he flat out doesn't hear them while smooshing their cute face.
Sephiroth just blinks and frowns at them, looking at them like they're stupid. Of course he does. He holds a lot of affection for them, why are you talking so strangely? Can't you see he's busy?

Into, Across and Beyond! Scripting: Dangerous Domain
(Based on Friendly Enmity Episode 3/Lord X VS MX Round 4)
Sometime after falling through the portal in an alternate universe, Chris Smith woke up in some kind of mechanical fortress.
Chris/Nitro.DLL: Oh... Where am I?
Close by, Toxinfect was working on some machinery, before he saw Chris wake up.
Toxinfect: Ah, brilliant. You're awake. Welcome... to my domain!
Nitro.DLL: What's with it being all mechanical?
Toxinfect: I've themed it specifically on numerous Eggman fortresses.
Nitro.DLL: Urgh... I already don't like the look of this place. Tell me the way back out of here.
Toxinfect: Aww, no need to rush. You're my guest for the time being! Now, come along, kid.
He led Chris over to another room with a huge TV display, showing a recording of events that had transpired.
Toxinfect: Do you remember this creature?
Nitro.DLL: He called himself "Sonic.exe", clearly a nastier incarnation of Sonic.
Toxinfect: Yes indeed. He killed the little fox boy here. But when you wound up facing him, the changes to your DNA kicked in that prevented you from dying. When you were holding your own against him, you were taking the opportunity to catch his teleportation off-guard. And thanks to that, Tails's body ended up corrupted, all because your escape before breached the current state of things.
Nitro.DLL remembered this encounter, having almost gotten killed by Exegod, but thanks to the EXE blood he had, it rendered him impossible to outright kill, albeit at the expense of a pretty rough headache for a couple of minutes afterwards. After he held his own for some time, the corpse of Exegod's Tails was getting overly glitched before it got up and charged at both of them, getting them separated in different worlds before now.
Elsewhere at the time, Toxinfect was planning things out before a tremor shook his base. He went to investigate the source, and discovered a portal to that dimension had opened, so he went in to discover just what went on.
Toxinfect: But it's such an honour to meet you.
Nitro.DLL: What do you want from me?
Toxinfect just grabbed him and hauled him back through to the room he was at before.
Nitro.DLL: Hey! You'd better let me go! What do you think you're doing?!
He walked past a chamber with an unconscious black-and-red Classic Amy and another with a computer monitor inside, before putting Nitro.DLL on one of the capsule bases.
Toxinfect: You're going to stay here for now. Perhaps you'll be of good use to me.
Nitro.DLL: Look, can't we talk about this? What do you want?!
Toxinfect: To create a perfect world, where all hope is non-existent!
Toxinfect laughed sadistically as the capsule closed on Nitro.DLL, as he got to see his reflection for the first time; he saw how much he had changed in that frame of time.
Later on, Toxinfect managed to bring Exegod into that same domain, the variant of which is an alternate self made from Toxinfect killing Corrupt before he could do the same to Exegod.
Toxinfect: Welcome to the Chaos Nostalgia dimension.
Exegod: Why is technology your main motto here?
Toxinfect: I created this virtual world that is properly implemented using a PC, and it's pulled from various zones from the Genesis.
Exegod: That I figured. Now, why did you bring me here?
Toxinfect: I'm going to show you something. You might remember a thing or two from this...
They emerged into the prison chamber room as Exegod took note of the glass capsules.
Exegod: What is all this? How many entities have you been storing in these?
Toxinfect: Oh oh oh! Don't touch that. Come over here.
He did so as Toxinfect reversed the Sonic 3 filter on his body to return to his default TTS state.
Exegod: What's going on? Who the hell are you?!
Toxinfect: Now, THIS is my proper form, Exegod. You may call me "Toxinfect"!
Exegod: And... where's the way out of here? I don't like this place.
Toxinfect facepalmed, as if he's getting used to people asking that.
Toxinfect: Hehehehehe... You can't just waltz out of here THAT easily.
He walked over to one of the chambers and lit it up to show Exegod.
Toxinfect: Do you remember this child?
Exegod: That's the kid I was trying to attack before! Why did you stuff him inside that capsule?
Toxinfect smiled sinisterly as he sealed Exegod inside one of the capsules.
Toxinfect: HAHAHAHAHA! He really thought of you as a fool, but I didn't believe him... until now.
Exegod just responded by smashing his capsule apart before going to choke Toxinfect.
Exegod: If we ever meet again, infect, don't you even THINK about trapping me in any of those capsules of yours!
He ripped Toxinfect's head off, leaving his seemingly dead body on the floor before walking off. However, Toxinfect quickly recovered, albeit in a glitchier state, before warping in front of the demon.
Toxinfect: Actually THINK before you act on impulse! (with a twisted smile) You know... If you keep attempting to kill me, any hope of you returning to YOUR dimension will be forfeit. Everything here is under MY control.
Exegod looked back to the capsules.
Exegod: Well, what would you do... if I smashed one of your capsules to shreds?
Toxinfect: W-What?
Exegod charged straight at the one holding Nitro.DLL...
Toxinfect: NoNONONO! Wait, don't do that!!!
...and smashed it apart, before cracking the glass of one of the other chambers in a feral rage as Nitro.DLL came to.
Nitro.DLL: Oh, my head... What's going on...?
He looked back, seeing what was going on.
Nitro.DLL: What the-? That's the Sonic.exe I fought before?!
He watched as Exegod and Toxinfect fought each other, with Exegod being the victor of this clash. As the infect got back up, however, Nitro immediately hightailed it.
Toxinfect: HEY! Where do you think you're going?!
Exegod stomped on the ground to get his attention.
Exegod: Well, come on, then! If you're that big of a guy, why aren't you doing anything about it?!
Toxinfect: Okay, okay... Listen. If you can bring that child here, I'll give you this pendrive, and then you can go back to your dimension.
Exegod: But... I've little reason to trust you.
Toxinfect: Just GO!
Exegod angrily growled at him before walking off. However, before he fully left, he noticed the (seemingly) random computer monitor in one of the capsules.
Exegod: Wait... Why have you got a computer monitor in here?
Toxinfect (baffled): ...
A little later, after a short minecart chase, Nitro woke up in the depths of the fortress as Exegod approached.
Nitro.DLL: But how?!
Exegod: I don't think we'll be permanently separated THAT easily, kid. This time, don't even try escaping me-!
Nitro.DLL: *sigh* Not again.
Exegod: Hehe... What's up with your family back home?
His eyes widened as he glared at Exegod.
Nitro.DLL: DON'T. YOU. DARE. TALK. ABOUT IT! *sigh* Just get out of my face.
He started walking off as Exegod's smile faded.
Exegod: Don't beg for me to treat you any harsher, kid. I'll give you another chance. Now, come on!
Nitro.DLL: Hmph. Blood-crying faker.
Exegod was pretty much through with this, leading him to chase Nitro.DLL through the depths of the facility. At the end of it, Nitro managed to lose Exegod by tricking him into going down a spindash chute before he continued on his way. However, when he emerged in the next room, Toxinfect awaited him nearby.
Toxinfect: Welcome back... little child. HAHAHAHAHA!
And on cue, Exegod busted through, frustrated that it took THIS to complete his task.
Exegod: Finally. You got what you wanted. Now, hand me that pendrive!
Toxinfect, ready to be true to his word, prepared to provide him one.
Nitro.DLL: Seriously? You've been chasing me all over this place just for a dumb USB stick? Pft! Come on. I've got my own way of getting out.
He threw a warp ring, which materialised into a way back out.
Nitro.DLL: See you two never.
He walked off as Exegod was ready to stop him.
Exegod: Hey, stop!
Toxinfect held him back.
Toxinfect: Just let him try.
When he made contact with it, however, it just disappeared, much to his shock and horror as Exegod laughed at him. He then glared back at Toxinfect as he approached.
Toxinfect: You're so funny! I think I have to make the point clear one last time; you're in MY world, where everything works to MY liking.
Exegod (plain fed up at this point): Okay, never mind. Just give me that pendrive. I'm done with this.
Nitro.DLL: And what of me?
Toxinfect: You already know what I need you for.
He passed the pendrive to Exegod.
Toxinfect: Now, connect this to the first teleport machine you see.
However, Nitro.DLL quickly swiped it and bolted it.
Exegod: HEY! GET BACK HERE!
Nitro quickly plugged it in and warped himself away, as Exegod barely missed the attack.
Exegod: Now what do we do?
Toxinfect: Right. Let's split from here. He shouldn't be too far.
Exegod: So... where did he go?
Toxinfect: Not to fret. The pendrive he took lacks any data.
Because of this, Nitro got warped to a different area of the domain.
Nitro.DLL: Guh-?! It was all a lie?! *sigh* Alright, then...
He just pressed onwards, coming across a secret database where he could search up where each pendrive led to. However, while he was looking up information, Exegod switched off the monitor.
Exegod: Is your work done?
Nitro.DLL: God damn it!
He got kicked into one of the shelves and pinned there.
Exegod: Listen! Do NOT keep getting on my nerves so much. Otherwise, I will remove you from existence!
Nitro just reached for the shelf and pulled out a pendrive.
Nitro.DLL: Just take this with you and get going. It's what you were looking for, right?
Exegod: ...How will I know where this is taking me?
Nitro.DLL: If it doesn't give you the correct result, just come back here and pick up another pendrive.
Exegod: Just shut your mouth and quit lying to me!
Nitro.DLL: Okay, cut this out! We don't have much time right now. I just want to get out of this joint and not have to see any of you lot again.
Exegod released Nitro and took the pendrive before waltzing off. Nitro then took the opportunity to get his own pendrive before continuing on his way, returning back to the room with the glass capsules in the process.
Nitro.DLL: Wait... Haven't I see her about before? I'm gonna get her out of there.
Elsewhere, Exegod had the pendrive on hand ready to leave with, though Toxinfect's technology was more advanced than he was willing to admit, and he was baffled trying to work it out. Back in the capsule room, Nitro smashed the girl's chamber apart and pulled her out of it.
????: Oh... Where... am I?
Nitro.DLL: Hey there, ma'am!
????: Oh, hello! Oh, er, there's no real need to address me like that.
Nitro.DLL: Oh? What should I call you, then?
????: A lot of people prefer to call me... Roze!
(Roze by SilverWho)
Nitro.DLL: Well, it's an honour to meet you, Roze! Heh, you know, you've been the most positive thing to come out of today so far.
Roze: Hehe, thanks! And... thanks for saving me.
Nitro.DLL: Anytime! Say, do you know why he went and put some random computer monitor in one of those chambers?
Roze: Umm... Nope. I don't really have a clue.
Nitro.DLL: Maybe we should open it and find out.
They examined the glass, getting ready to do the trick.
Nitro.DLL: One…
Roze: Two…
Toxinfect: THREE!
Roze (panicked): Uh oh! What was that?!
The two were quickly grabbed by Toxinfect, who was unaware of the monitor switching itself on with familiar imagery on it.
Toxinfect: So you two are STILL actively trying to screw things up for me, huh?! Now listen. I'm not in the mood right now to put EITHER of you out of your misery, so just stop testing my patience.
Roze: W-We did NOTHING!
Toxinfect: Maybe not you, girl, but Christopher, I think you're begging to lose your head since you've defied me repeatedly up to this point.
Nitro.DLL: My s-siblings better be alright if you know what's good for you!
Toxinfect: Oh, don't worry. They're still out away from my grasp. For now, anyway…
Roze: We just wanted to figure out what was inside that last capsule.
Toxinfect: It's none of your business. I have a very good reason to keep that specimen inside there.
As he said that, the glass of the chamber was smashed apart as said "specimen" walked up right behind Toxinfect.
Nitro.DLL: So, uh, would you mind explaining that to, er…?
Toxinfect: You see? He's starting to get it now, but you still seem not to, Roze.
Nitro.DLL: I didn't mean Roze.
Toxinfect: What DO you mean, then?
Roze: You, uh… might wanna look… behind you?
He did so, shocked by what he saw.
Toxinfect: What?!
And before his eyes was…
SoniTOR, itching to get back at him.
Toxinfect: Oooooooooh… SHIT!
SoniTOR: >Let's dance, inferior being!
SoniTOR attacked, freeing Nitro.DLL and Roze from Toxinfect's grip.
Nitro.DLL: We'd better get out of here!
The two took the opportunity to leg it while SoniTOR beat the ever-living HELL out of the infect, even throwing in a loud jumpscare for good measure before beheading him.
Back in the deeper corridors, Exegod was on his way back, Roze accidentally bumping into him as Nitro arrived.
Exegod: Oh! It's you two!
Nitro.DLL (sarcastic): Nice to see you too.
Exegod: A-Anyway, how am I meant to use this pendrive in this place?
Nitro.DLL: Follow me. We'll find somewhere to use it.
They headed off. Back in the chamber room, SoniTOR was done with the massacre, but Toxinfect wouldn't stay down and, with his guard right back up, attacked the computer-sealed demon directly. And back with the newly-formed trio, they arrived in a secret lab area based on the interior of Wing Fortress and found a big computer that could do their job.
Roze: Erm... How is this meant to work?
Nitro.DLL: I'll work it out. You two just make sure Toxinfect doesn't get in here.
Exegod: Got it.
Exegod passed Nitro the pendrive as he got to work buying them their ticket out. And back at the chamber, Toxinfect finally managed to neutralise SoniTOR by smashing the computer screen and throwing him back in his chamber. Now knowing that three targets were still out there, and with his patience in tatters, Toxinfect got back to his hunt to find them.
Back where they were, Nitro was almost done in inputting the pendrive's data into the computer.
Exegod: So, what's our plan if this transporter DOESN'T bring us to the right dimension?
Nitro.DLL: At this rate, any location's better than here. Besides, if HE'S coming, we don't have much of a choice.
The power on the room's barrier cut out as Toxinfect bursted in, glaring at the trio in front of him.
Toxinfect: Any signs of friendship AND enmity on your part is nothing but an illusion, fools. You could've just followed along, but I guess you prefer resistance over compliance! Well, that ends today!
He started slowly approaching.
Roze: H-He's getting closer! Quick, do something!
Exegod: I'll stop him!
Toxinfect continued his approach as Nitro.DLL stepped up his game.
Exegod: Come on then, diet Junter! Come and FACE ME!
However, Toxinfect, when touching some of the objects in his path, glitched them right out of existence.
Exegod (suddenly panicked): We screwed up...
Roze shook in fear, but in good time, Nitro.DLL managed to input the coordinates for the Pendrive's connected destination; Safety Savestate Zone - World-11515, as a bright flash temporarily stopped Toxinfect in his tracks. The three looked back at the monster one last time.
Nitro.DLL: Heh! You suck, Infect!
Toxinfect: Do not go into that portal!
Exegod and Roze leapt through as Toxinfect tried to pull Chris in with red strings, though he yanked free and jumped into the portal, leading to…
The title screen of Sunky the Game as the trio fell from the skies. Not willing to let all of them escape, though, Toxinfect angrily threw some strings down to pull Exegod BACK into his domain.
Toxinfect: And just where do you think you're going, dark-fur?
Exegod: Oh, crap!
And down below, Nitro.DLL and Roze shifted into the Sunky art-style as they made a landing in the equivalent of Green Hill Zone.
To be continued... at some point.
So, after the duo's escapade with Toxinfect, they formed into a sort of independent party not aligned with the Blur Gang or Quill Society, but still actively on the side of good regardless. Nitro.DLL and Roze had since set up their own HQ close to the centre of the multiverse as an easy link to anywhere, even alternate timelines, while also keeping an easy link back to Roze's dimension so she's never far from home.
Through this, they've since worked together to face down the more hostile horrorbrews out there, like Lost Guardian Nitro was also doing, helping survivors out and containing "malware" (entities that have done terrible things in their virtual worlds) before they can cause further harm. And no, Nitro.DLL and Roze aren't dating; they're just really good friends after what happened.

hi this is santa :^)
i didn't know christian vander at all, although he's french :o he seems like a very peculiar man and his music sounds really interesting
oh wow brian eno made windows system sounds?? so coooool i didn't know either
what's your fav pink floyd album? i didn't ask you :^) is it the wall since it's the first cd you bought?
yay muse! i kinda like their music, not everything but some songs are very very good. the two biggest concerts i've been to are the who and the rolling stones, i had a good time but to be honest i don't really like BIG concerts. a concert much more intimate in a smaller concert hall i've "recently" been to was for pokey lafarge and i loved it. surprisingly, i'm soooo much more touched and moved by live jazz/classical music than by rock concerts. the times i cried during rock concerts was during tribute songs to late members while the times i cried during jazz and classical music concerts was because the music went deep down my guts and brought the tears to my throat (weird sentence but that's basically how it felt like ahahah) i also once cried during a berlioz concert in a church because the acoustic was phenomenal and there was a brass entry from the upstairs balcony ; i didn't expect it at all and it resonated inside, it was amazing
have you ever cried to music simply for its musicality (aside from sentimentality)?
see you later, have a good day/night :^)
Hi!! How are you doing? :D
Christian Vander is a very peculiar man indeed haha. His music, especially his work with Magma, is very unique. I can’t think of another band that really sounds like them!
When I was in middle school, The Wall was my favorite Pink Floyd album, and even though it still holds a place in my heart, I’d definitely have to say Animals is my favorite now! :]
Yeah, I can definitely agree on liking smaller concerts. The Yungblood concert was especially bad, not only because I’m not really a fan of that kind of music, but the large crowd kinda removed any intimacy that comes from the live music experience. People were screaming and recording on their phones the whole time, and it just wasn’t my thing at all. Some people enjoy that kinda environment, but it stresses me out and makes it hard to listen to the music. The Muse concert was a little better because it wasn’t standing room only, but it still felt very distant.
Unfortunately I haven’t been able to go to any jazz/classical concerts, but from how you’ve described them I think they’d be something I would enjoy :D If you could see any musician, perform live, who would it be, and are there any songs in particular you’d want to hear them play?
My whole life, I’ve never really cared about audio quality. After lurking on audiophile subreddits, I caved and decided to get some good quality headphones. When I first listened to Watcher of the Skies by Genesis with them, I cried. I thought it was a beautiful song before, but after being able to hear it with more clarity I was overwhelmed with just how good it was. I’ve never been able to go back to cheap headphones after that, they just make the music sound so flat.
I hope you have a good day/night! :D
