This product retails for between $14-20, you can get it here for $15 + shipping.

Tumblr media
This product contains 50 ml (1.69 oz) and is fragrance-free.
Tumblr media
This sunscreen has a very lightweight, hydrating lotion texture and is tinted green.
Tumblr media
It blends out very easily and feels like nothing.
Tumblr media
It leaves skin very smooth and not tacky or sticky as it dries down, which it does very quickly.
Tumblr media
There is no flashback, it's very invisible and you can't detect any white residue on the skin.
Tumblr media
It also wears very well and layers well, I was out in the sun for most of the day and did reapply every few hours or so.
Tumblr media
It also wears very well under makeup, no pilling up or shifting of the makeup.
Recommended use is to take an appropriate amount and apply it evenly onto the skin. It's designed for sensitive skin, non-comedogenic, oxybenzone-free, octinoxate-free and fragrance-free. After using, this sunscreen is really impressive. The packaging is great in that the applicator is very controlled and keeps it from distributing too much product. The sunscreen itself is very gentle, soothing, hydrating and lightweight. It doesn't pill or bunch up or leave any kind of white cast. It's a great moisturizer on its own but it layers over other skincare very well. The ingredients are very sensitive skin friendly and there are no irritants, or fragrances (artificial or otherwise) and it has strong and effective UV filters. It's also very safe around the eyelids and eyes, I didn't notice any irritation in that area or any kind of tingling. The protection is long-lasting and it keeps your skin even toned, even after being out in the sun for a while. Some aspects are water resistant but this product is not marketed as such so this wouldn't be safe against sweat either. I'd recommend this to anyone, especially to people who need a gentle formula.
What I like: this sunscreen is so hydrating and plays well with other products. It doesn't pill or bunch up or leave a white cast and there's no fragrance. It's got great ingredients minus any irritants and it's very hydrating and makes a great moisturizer on its own. It's also safe around the eyes and doesn't cause any irritation. What I don't like: honestly, nothing, it's a great product.
Pros:
Hydrating
Gentle
Soothing
Fragrance-free
Sensitive skin friendly
No white cast
Wears well under makeup
No irritants
Moisturizing
Cons:
None
Would I buy this?
Yes
Rating: 10/10

Watch the one minute routine on Instagram or Tiktok.
If you haven’t heard of Pantothenic B5, you more than likely have heard of this ingredient’s other name: panthenol. It’s an ingredient that is well known for helping maintain a healthy skin barrier. Not only does it help your skin maintain its moisture, it also helps promote skin healing which can help acne prone skin as well. It can also help with excess oil that our skin produces. The three products I tried are: a mattefying powder, serum, and cream.
I love the fact that you can mix the powder with the cream for example, so your skin won’t look so shiny. Or you can use the powder by itself to target any oil prone areas (for me that’s my t-zone, or my forehead and nose especially). This is a great alternative to a setting powder or blotting sheets. Even as someone with dry skin, I found that the powder didn’t make my dry skin any more noticeable. The serum is incredibly lightweight, as is the moisturizer. This is another cream where a little bit goes a long way.

the ultimate guide to glowy, clear skin
so your skin looks great with and without makeup for your summer glow up 🫶🏽
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
things you should never skip:
- double cleansing at night
- SPF 50 during the day
- spraying a mist before applying hydrating ingredients
- getting 6-8 hours of sleep every night
- washing your hands before touching your face
- washing your pillowcases, hair wraps, and bedding once a week
- using paper towel to dry your face
the main way to have glowy skin? maintaining the skin barrier.
Find everyday products with the following ingredients:
- prebiotics + probiotics
I always use the Axis-Y Biome Radiating Essence
- fatty acids, cholesterols, and ceramides
I always use the Stratia Lipid Gold Serum/Lotion and Aestura Cream
- hydrators: Glycerin, Hyaluronic Acid, Betaine, Panthenol
I always use the Hada Labo Hyaluronic Acid lotion and Mediheal NMF Ampoule Mask
- anti-inflammatories, antibacterials and antifungals: Propolis, Heartleaf, Centella Asiatica, Cica
I always use the Cosrx Propolis Ampoule and Abib Heartleaf Essence
the other part of having glowy skin? minimal texture, radiance, and clear pores.
These are things you’d use 1-2x a week:
- a surface exfoliator: Lactic Acid (darker-skin friendly; is also hydrating), Glycolic Acid
I always use the Paula’s Choice Lactic/Mandelic Acid exfoliator
- a deep exfoliator: Salicylic Acid, EX-07 enzyme, PHAs
I always use the numbuzin no.4 Pore Zero toner pad
- Vitamin A derivatives/alternatives: retinol, tretinoin, bakuchiol, resveratrol
I always use the 23 Years Old Bakuchiol A cream
You can use your surface and deep exfoliators together, but never mix an exfoliator with Vitamin A!
The biggest help to your skin being healthy and clear? Your diet.
EAT YOUR SKINCARE INGREDIENTS (not literally)
What’s going on inside your body reflects directly on your skin - from constipation, to period cycle stage, to lactose intolerance, and more.
The essentials:
• Collagen and Vitamin A
- BB LAB Collagen powder (also has hyaluronic acid and vitamin C)
- Grass-fed Gelatin Gummies
- Country Farms Super Reds
- Leafy Greens, Carrots, Pumpkin, Cantaloupe, Mango
• Prebiotics and Probiotics
- Country Farm Super Greens
- Seed Daily Synbiotic
- Kombucha
- Kefir
- Yogurt
• good ole H20 :)
- at least 64 ounces (8 cups) a day
Wanna keep your skincare routine simple? You’ll only need 5 things.
1. Oil Cleanser (PM only)
2. Gel/Milky Cleanser
3. an all-in-one toner (hydrates, nourishes, calms)
4. a great moisturizer (preferably with fatty acids and ceramides!)
5. SPF
Just make sure your diet, exercise routine, and sleep routine are the best they can be! 💘

i love your prom photos so sad you took them down
was wondering if you could give us your skincare routine and if you could tell us what products have and haven't worked for you?
and your skincare prep for b4 makeup?
a/n: hello! of course i'm willing to do that — I'll link everything as well. it'll be separated into a few different sections: products i use (separated into different sections, and w/ a 'review'), products i tried but didn't like, morning + night routine, make-up skin prep routine. all products from LIKESKIN (check out their website)
SKIN TYPE: dry, acne-prone (I'm prone to pustular acne, cystic acne, and hormonal acne) & MY SKIN CONCERNS: hydration, acne, blemishes, scarring, and hyperpigmentation
THINGS I ALWAYS DO:
Retinol 2-3x a week Vitamin C 2x a week Mask 3x a week Exfoliating toner 2-3x a week
PRODUCTS I USE:
cleansers -
[IUNIK] Calendula Complete Cleansing Oil ;; gets make-up and sunscreen off, gentle and sensitive skin friendly, doesn't break me out.
[BEAUTY OF JOSEON] Green Plum Refreshing Cleanser - doesn't dry me out, gentle, foams up well, and cleanses my skin properly!
toners -
[ANUA] Heartleaf 77% Soothing Toner - hydrating and soothing, helps take down my redness and blemishes
[NEEDLY] Daily Toner Pad - helps with texture and acne
[NUMBUZIN] No.5 Vitamin-Niacinamide - helps with acne scars and any darkness i have, i tend to put these on my cheek area and leave them for awhile
[BEAUTY OF JOSEON ] Green Plum Refreshing Toner: AHA + BHA - this is a light exfoliating toner that overall helps keep my rejuvenated
[DEAR KLAIRS] Supple Preparation Unscented Facial Toner - extremely hydrating, i use this every day and night so matter what, somewhat viscous
[SOMEBYMI] 30 Day Miracle Toner: AHA + BHA + PHA - exfoliating toner, don't use this if you have sensitive skin, but this helped me get rid of my pustules (acne filled with yellow pus)
serums -
[AXIS-Y] Dark Spot Glow Correcting Serum - mixed feelings on this serum since it helps a lot with my dark spots BUT it works on new scarring + if I use it too often, it triggers my acne.
[SKIN1004] Madagascar Centalla Asiatica Ampoule - incredibly soothing and hydrating, helps keep my acne under control
[The Ordinary] 10% Niacinamide Serum - started using this recently and i love it so much, helps the skin shine, removes texture, reduces acne and pore appearance
[The Ordinary] 0.5 Retinol - helps me extremely with acne; i worked up from 0.1% to 0.2% and now at 0.5%
[BEAUTY OF JOSEON] Retinal Eye Serum - i just love this one so much, very plumping
moisturisers -
[BEAUTY OF JOSEON] Dynasty Cream - i love this so, so much; hydrating, lightweight, and doesn't trigger my acne
[IUNIK] Centella Calming Gel - like the axis-y glow correcting serum, over-using this causes me some acne so i tend to use this once or twice a week, and it works wonders!
[COSRX] Centella Blemish Cream - HOLY GRAIL PRODUCT! this is genuinely one of the things that helped me clear my acne to extraordinary levels, especially when i had a huge breakout EVERYWHERE! i also use this as a spot treatment, repurchased this like seven times now
[DEAR, KLAIRS] Freshly Juiced Vitamin E Mask - using this with vitamin c works wonders and it overall enhances any dark spot removing products! very lightweight, jelly-like texture!
[I'm From] Vitamin Tree Water Gel - i adore this one so much; such a cooling, soothing moisturiser, and it targets almost every skincare concern ever, totally underrated!
sunscreen -
[AXIS-Y] Complete No-Stress Physical Sunscreen - only sunscreen that didn't make me break out and doesn't have white cast!
masks -
[I'm From] Mugwort Mask - i love this because everytime i have a breakout, it just helps me so much with redness.
[I'm From] Honey Mask - a miracle mask for an acne-prone person! one of my all-time favourite products! gives the skin a gorgeous shine as well! when i run out of this, i also just use manukka honey and oats!
/ so most of the products i use are anti-inflammatory, soothing, and target blemishes/texture/scarring; most people tend to forget that you should try and avoid anti-inflammatory products if you're not acne-prone because it may just end up triggering a breakout! all our skin is different! so here's PRODUCTS THAT DIDN'T WORK FOR ME:
(disclaimer: some of these products were good but i wouldn't repurchase!)
[BEAUTY OF JOSEON] Relief Sunscreen: Rice + Probiotics - sunscreen - triggered my pustular acne but was incredibly lightweight, super sad it didn't work out for me :(
[HARUHARU WONDER] Black Rice Hyaluronic Toner For Sensitive Skin - toner - i just didn't like this, it didn't do anything for me and caused my skin to itch.
[AXIS-Y] Mugwort Pore Clarifying Wash Off Pack - mask - i used all of this up and came to the conclusion it just didn't do much for me and was also incredibly difficult to wash off.
[BEAUTY OF JOSEON] Glow Serum: Propolis + Niacinamide - serum - now, i genuinely loved this but it only gave me a glow and was very small, ran out too quickly! much better products that do the same job with more product and more cheap!
[BEAUTY OF JOSEON] Glow Deep Serum: Rice + Arbutin - serum - this triggered my pustular acne so bad that i threw it away almost immediately, nuh-uh!
[MIXSOON] Bean Essence - serum - this isn't bad per se, but i feel like it's a very overhyped product and doesn't do much other than boost hydration, i use it but i wouldn't buy it again
[NUMBUZIN] NO.3 Skin Softening Serum - serum - i have such mixed opinions on this one because it really does help with texture but not if you keep using it? so i'm not sure if i'd repurchase.
[NUMBUZIN] NO.5 Goodbye Blemish Serum - serum - feels heavy, doesn't do shit other than trigger my acne and make my skin itch
[SOMEBYMI] 0.1% Retinol - serum - definitely a great beginner-friendly retinol but far too light for me and my acne-infested skin :(
MORNING ROUTINE:
cleanser (green plum refreshing cleanser from Beauty of Joseon
toner (i'll switch between the ANUA Heartleaf one and the Dr, Klairs Supple one)
serum (i'll tend to use a soothing serum such as the SKIN1004 centella asiatica one or a vitamin C serum)
moisturiser (dynasty cream or vitamin-tree water gel)
sunscreen
NIGHT ROUTINE:
double cleanse (IUNIK cleansing oil + BoJ green plum refreshing cleanser)
mask (either honey or mugwort mask, leave for twenty minutes)
toner pad (leave on for five minutes minimum)
toner (usually an exfoliating toner at night-time or a hydrating toner)
serum (tend to opt for niacinamide + retinol at night)
moisturiser (usually the vitamin e mask OR dynasty cream)
spot treatment (COSRX Blemish Cream)
MAKE-UP SKIN PREP ROUTINE:
(this is what i did on the day of prom as well!)
toner pad (leave these on for ten minutes and rub around face, this helps hydrate the skin; i use the numbuzin ones)
niacinamide (helps tighten pore appearance and just helps in every single way)
soothing serum (centella asiatica to overall help the skin!)
moisturiser!
/ i hope this helps!

Their Vitamin Concentrated Serum is designed to fade away facial acne scars and brighten dark spots. Key ingredients include: 604,074ppm of lingonberry fruit extract (hydrating, nourishing, anti-aging, evens out skin tone, brightening, improves skin health), 50,000ppm of niacinamide (whitening, lightening, anti-aging, rejuvenating, anti-wrinkle), 50,000 of panthenol (penetrates deeply into the skin, hydrating, helps to infuse water into the cells, moisturizing), 40,000ppm of tranexamic acid (lightening, brightening, anti-inflammatory, works well in combination with other brigthening ingredients), 2,000ppm of 3-O-ethyl ascorbic acid (very stable form of vitamin C, antioxidant, brightening, skin-renewing, anti-aging, boosts collagen production), 1,000ppm of glutathione (antioxidant, vitamin-rich, skin lightening, improves skin elasticity, anti-wrinkle, evens skin tone), 1ppb of ascorbic acid (vitamin C; antioxidant, treats UV damage, brightening, fades hyperpigmentation, prevents skin sagging), 1ppb of ascorbyl glucoside (vitamin c; gentle, antioxidant, enhances skin’s radiance, skin protecting) and ubiquinone (Q10; antioxidant, anti-aging, healing). This product retails for between $20-28 USD, you can get it here for $21 + shipping.
Ingredients
Vaccinium Vitis-Idaea (Lingonberry) Fruit Extract (604,074ppm), Butylene Glycol, Niacinamide (50,000ppm), Panthenol (50,000ppm), Tranexamic Acid (40,000ppm), Water, 1,2-Hexanediol, Neopentyl Glycol Dicaprate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Sorbitol, Bifida Ferment Lysate, Chondrus Crispus Extract, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Saccharum Officinarum (Sugarcane) Extract, Alpha-Arbutin, Sodium Hyaluronate, Melia Azadirachta (Chinaberry) Flower Extract, Ocimum Sanctum (Holy Basil) Leaf Extract, Melia Azadirachta (Chinaberry) Leaf Extract, Curcuma Longa (Turmeric) Root Extract, Corallina Officinalis Extract, Tremella Fuciformis (Mushroom) Extract, Pentylene Glycol, Glycerin, 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid (2,000ppm), Bisabolol, Tromethamine, Ethylhexylglycerin, Adenosine, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Allantoin, Glutathione (1,000ppm), Ceramide NP, Beta-Glucan, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Tocopherol, Ascorbic Acid (1ppb), Ascorbyl Glucoside (1ppb), Tocopheryl Acetate, Hydroxypropyl Cyclodextrin, Ubiquinone, Thioctic Acid, Potassium Hydroxide, Behenyl Alcohol, Carbomer, Xanthan Gum, Disodium EDTA
To quickly note, I received this for free from Picky and numbuz:n in exchange for my honest review.
Tumblr media
It comes in a dropper bottle with 30 ml (1.01 oz) and has no fragrance.
Tumblr media
This serum has a very light semi-watery texture and has kind of a milky appearance.
Tumblr media
Once blended out it feels very watery and absorbs quickly.
Tumblr media
It's very hydrating and I do feel it leaves the skin brighter.
Recommended use is to apply an appropriate amount and gently spread it along the skin texture, and pat it lightly to help with absorption. After using, I found this to be a very exceptional product. I do have sensitive skin most of the time, though it's been improving, and I am very careful about vitamin C serums or serums with a lot of actives, even avoiding them most of the time. But this one is really good, it didn't cause any irritation and there's of course no fragrance or major irritants in the ingredients. The product is brightening and works at toning the skin with it's lightening properties. The vitamin C ingredient in here is also a lot more stable than others so you don't have to worry about this going bad in a short time. I feel this would be great over time on hyperpigmentation, like acne scarring. It's overall very gentle, but I'd patch-test it if you are very sensitive to actives like niacinamide and ascorbic acid (though there's only a tiny amount of it). I'd recommend this to any skin type and I feel it's gentle enough to accommodate most skin.
What I like: this product is very hydrating, brightens and evens skin tone, targets hyperpigmentation like acne scarring, it's fragrance-free, gentle, and has amazing ingredients. What I don't like: this product is amazing, just keep in mind all of the active ingredients.
Pros:
Hydrating
Brightening
Targets scars and dark spots
Fragrance-free
Gentle
Sensitive skin friendly
Great ingredients
More stable than most vitamin C serums
Cons:
None
Would I buy this?
Yes
Rating: 10/10

I liked it so much from my review round that I decided to make another video about their product! If you hate thick and goopy or strong smelling SPF’s, this is another underrated completely fragrance free option. I also adore the fact that it does not give me a white cast!
I originally got this as part of the Picky program. You can sign up for Picky to try out this and other Korean Beauty brands with my invite code: 30321C65

Have you tried Korean and Japanese skincare products yet? Game changer! Especially for sunscreen, a lot of the UV filters Asia uses are more stable than the ones available in the US!! Some of my favs are below (and you can get most authentically from Amazon or your local Japanese and/or Korean market too)
- Hada Labo Gokujyun Premium Lotion: it’s a very thick toner with multiple levels of hyaluronic acid. Better than The Ordinary’s hyaluronic acid serum! Makes your face hydrated and super glowy
- Naturie Hatomugi Skin Conditioner: the only watery essence/toner product that helped my splotchiness and uneven skin tone. Magic in a bottle, and extremely affordable too. Very popular in Japan and has barely extract, licorice root extract
- Numbuzin No. 3 Serum: Super hydrating and brightening for protecting the skin barrier
- Isntree Watery Sun Gel: hydrating sunscreen with no white cast and an amazingly hydrating formula.
i’m trying to not go out and buy all the things all at once but i’m super interested in korean skincare cause my skin is dry and a lot of the popular ones, including what you mentioned, sound super hydrating. i have got to chill on spending money rn but i’ll bookmark this for future reference

what’s your current skin care routine girlie :3 your skin is so clear and with your esthi training I’ll trust anything you have to say <3
ahhhhh yes okay here we go
some info first: i have combo-dry skin that’s pretty sensitive and i get a lot of redness in my cheeks. i also have a few dark spots that i’m currently trying to get rid of. also i get facials pretty regularly bc i’m in school so that also factors in lol. I focus mostly on hydrating my skin and trying to calm it. i’ve found that korean skincare works for me pretty well but that doesn’t mean you have to use it as well. one thing they’ve taught us is to look at ingredients rather than whatever claim is on the bottle, and that no face is the same. before treating anyone, we look at the skin and choose products that we think are best to target their concerns. so for my redness and acne, i use a calming serum. for my dark spots, i use a serum with vitamin c and other antioxidants. for hydration, i use a lot of products with hyaluronic acid in them. so this routine works specifically for me and my skin concerns. that being said, this is what i do.
the routine:
1. oil cleanser (pm only): anua heartleaf pore control cleansing oil
2. foaming cleanser: round lab 1025 dokdo cleanser
3. toner: haruharu wonder black rice toner
3.5. exfoliant: moonjuice acid potion (once a week and at night)
4. idek what to call this, it’s like a toner/serum: cosrx peptide 6 skin booster
5. essence: cosrx snail mucin
6: serums:
fation nosca 9 trouble serum 5
numbuzin no. 5 vitamin concentrated serum
cosrx hyaluronic acid 3 serum
7. moisturizer: cosrx hyaluronic acid cream
8. sunscreen (am): roundlabs birch sunscreen
as u can see i love cosrx lmfao it wasn’t even on purpose i just found that their ingredients are really good and their product claims match up with the ingredient list. it’s one brand that i think i could recommend to a lot of people. they have a bunch of products for all kinds of skin types and concerns which is really cool. so, even if your skin concerns aren’t the same as mine you could take a look at their website and see if there’s any products there that work for u.
(i’m a cosrx dickrider sorry)
