Just thinking out loud right now, feel free to ignore, but...

Sometimes I wonder where Loa came from. Usually Banettes are born from discarded toys, once loved by someone, and are said to seek revenge on their past owner but honestly? I don't know how much I buy into that. Loa has never once shown any signs of aggression like that, and is probably the most motherly out of all my ghost-types.

People always assume the worst out of Ghost types, like how "evil" and "malicious" they are, but I think it's all a misunderstanding born from human assumptions and stereotypes. Plus every ghost type I've met has never shown any malintent, and the only time they do is usually when a stranger is invading their territory- like no shit they're going to defend themselves, but I digress.

-And I'm not saying other types aren't stigmatized, Dark and Poison types get a bad rep too- none of it sits right with me, and I wish people would open their minds a bit more and stop being so stupid.

...Maybe that's why I'm so attracted to these types- we're all misunderstood beings trying to get by and just live our lives.

Okay hi don’t imagine Kirk curling up closer to Spock while they sleep because he gets cold and Spock runs warm and even in sleep Spock pulls him closer, don’t imagine Kirk placing absent minded kisses on Spock’s head while he meditates before bed, don’t think about them knowing exactly how they take their coffee/tea and having it ready for them when the other wakes up, don’t imagine them sneaking little kisses stolen as they pass on busy shifts, and DEFINITELY don’t imagine them living a long happy ol life together whaaaaa who said that-

Anyways I’m going to get emotional if I think too much about Durge’s self talk like “wretched thing, pull yourself together”. Combined with their confessional letter to their father, fucking begging forgiveness because they feel fondness, I think it’s very clear Durge has some experience and expectations of disdain and punishment from others. They’re a wretched thing who failed their god only a little and felt fear. And some of that thought follows them even without memory. Even Balthazar wrote that Durge would have wished to die after what happend to them- all while calling Durge “it” and “thing”- “feral thing”.

And then there’s Gortash who is so happy to see them. He’s not mad. He should be mad they failed him. They failed the plan. They let their guard down and Orin got them. Sure he doesn’t intervene, how could he without destroying Durge’s chances of gaining their fathers approval again and risking his own soul and the fate of Baldurs Gate? He’s not sugarcoating what happened, but I honestly think Durge would describe it as humiliation too. I just wonder if he was the only person to offer Durge that kind of grace to not blame them or try to threaten them into compliance, to still call them an equal. He could hate them, but he doesn’t.

Durge thought of themselves as dangerous, but did they ever consider themselves worthy?

Sometimes he thought why he is doing that. For Lily? She was never his true friend, was she? They started speaking because he knew so much about the Wizarding World so he was useful for her. At school he helped her with homework and potions. No one really knew they were friends. She ended up with his bully. Snape made a lot of mistakes. He blamed himself a lot. He wasn’t a man he wanted to be. He didn’t deserve Lily.

He sighed and stared at the ceiling. Why he is doing that? Because it’s a right thing to do? Or because he feels guilty for becoming Death Eater? For becoming one of those monsters who tortured people and killed them. Snape remembers Voldemort’s gaze on him. Snape always can protect his mind. He could close it for everyone except himself.

It was 2:00 am. He couldn’t sleep. Again. Why he is doing that? Playing this little pathetic game for winning. When? Where? No one knows. How? No one knows either. Snape sighed. He knew he didn’t deserve love. Didn’t deserve anything good actually. He was pathetic man. He hated people.

Snape stood up from the bed, his oversized nightshirt that was covering all his body was comfortable. It was something he felt good about. Just like few other things. He looked out of the window. Night. He walked out and suddenly heard noises. Filch cursed about Peeves. Snape sighed. Another night of crap because of those idiots. And a Potter with fucking Goblet of Fire.

There's a lot left unexplored in her background, like her training or how she navigated her duty going around towns healing the sick while also facing restrictions from the Empire. That's the setting I usually picture her in at that age.

Do u ever think abt the fact the bond between Jim and Spock when separated probably feels like when you leave the ocean after being in it for a while and you can still feel warm waves. Do you think it gentle rocks them pleasantly to sleep when they’re apart from one another for missions. Miles away but still so intertwined they can feel it with every action. Do you ever think they experience phantom sensations of the other in the same room and turn to greet them before they’re even through the door. Do you think they ever feel each others presence when separated like a warm sensation in their chest saying I’m here, I’m with you, I’ve got you.
