"Hm." He tore the contract off the billboard and stuffed it in his pocket before he climbed back on his horse. "C'mon Roach."

It was a few days' ride before he happened across a large estate, slipping off his horse. "Hope this is the place.." He pushed the gates open and led Roach up, leaving him nearby before he went up to the door, rapping on the door with the large knocker. When the lock clicked and a small boy with ocean blue eyes and messy brunette hair opened the door, he looked down. "Is this the Pankratz residence?"

(AU based loosely on this Twitter thread about Jaskier’s home life where Geralt is hired by his family and offered residence at their estate to protect them from a wraith sent after them. As he’s staying there, he starts to notice little patterns of behavior, which slowly evolve into witnessing full-fledged abuse- protective geraskier ensues. Idea by a friend )

I know NPCs explain events to Link for expository reasons, even if he either was most likely or 100% certainly was present for the events discussed, but the number of watsonian explanations as to why all have multiple shades of amusing.

The first possible one is that after having Amnesia once, people just ere on the side caution for reminding Link, which can be anywhere between endearing or low key a dick move.

Another is simply an extrapolation of the major Tony Hawk effect he's been experiencing. Like... people genuinely forget when Link is present for events. Symin tells Link "Did you know Zelda built this school?" The man is practically glued to the woman. He follows her around like he's her body guard or something. But in the back of everyone's memories they just see

Even when they know and recognize Link they just have a habit of forgetting about him.

hey for a moment think abt the fact that marcille’s healing for everyone has been extremely painful on their end bc its always her just sort of brute forcing the regeneration so that it is functional as as fast as possible and requires as no more energy than what is necessary. laios had that huge scar wrapped around the healed sever that itched continuously, maybe bc of nerve damage? and chilchuck screamed when she healed his head bc it hurt that bad!

ok now get devastated when you think abt when marcille brings fallin back, literally weaving her muscle together and forging her from flesh and blood, theres no pain for fallin afterward. marcille was so careful when putting her back together, poured everything that she knew about her into that spell. she was replicating details abt falin that she didnt even consciously remember, with an accuracy and familiarity like falin is something she has studied before and took great pains to memorize.

yknow what really gets me? the fact that we all seem to think that robin doesn’t enjoy jock things. while she’s canonically seen enjoying and cheering at the basketball game in s4 and more importantly, SHE PLAYS SOCCER!!!! she literally says so in s3?!!!! don’t come at me with your “robin is a music nerd ONLY” because she’s so much more than that!! and we should explore soccer player robin in fics bc i’m pretty sure whoever you ship her with will have an aneurysm watching her play soccer

​he's under the row of flags on Neige's side of the room, next to the big Neige poster with the yellow background (look just to the right of the hand holding the apple)! he's REAL little; once you know he's there you can kind of see him in-game, but I only noticed him in the first place because I took a screenshot and was having fun zooming in on all the details!

I think that's either Hop or Snick and Dominic on either side of Neige, but if the others are meant to be anyone in particular I don't recognize 'em. though I do love all the absolutely terrifying implications of Rook having this. was this some kind of officially-published merchandise (and if so, why) or did Rook like...go hunting through the RSA trash to find this random student lineup just because it included Neige, and has had it hanging proudly on the wall ever since. (I mean, he definitely did do this, I don't know why I'm asking. the real question is why he hasn't cut out little pictures of his own face and stuck them over everyone else's yet.)
