Vilja the wing-woman
Tuva Hansen x reader
Tumblr media
I guess Tuva and I would have never met, if Vilja hadn't been.
The brown Cockapoo dog, moved with Tuva to Munich in the winter of 2022 and while they where exploring their new neighborhood, I was walking home from work.
She was throwing Vilja’s toy and it accidentally landed right between my feet.
But the small dog didn't walk back to her owner, she picked up the toy and looked up at me.
“Hey, little one.” I say and kneel down.
“Vilja?” I hear someone shouting and look up, meeting her blue eyes.
“Bad girl.” The women says as she notices that Vilja had laid down on my shoe.
“No, she’s really cute actually.” I say and she smiles.
“I’m sorry, normally she is not that...clingy.”
“No really, it's okay, I could never be mad at someone this sweet.” I answer and softly pet Vilja between her ears.
She makes a sound, that sounds like she agrees with me.
I get up and cant help but think, that I never saw someone as beautiful as her.
“I’m sorry but I have to go home, still need to do some work.” I say and Vilja pushes her head against my leg.
“I live that way.” I add and nod towards the street behind her.
“Me too, would it be okay for you if we walk back with you?” she asks and I nod, smiling at her.
“I’m Y/N, by the way.” I say as we start walking.
“Tuva and this is Vilja.”
“Nice to meet you two.” I answer and look down at Vilja who is walking between us.
After around five minutes and doing some small talk, we stop at my apartment building
“That's where I live.”, I say and Tuva nods.
“We actually live over there.” she says and points at the building, right across the street.
“Really, I never seen you two before.”
“We moved her only three weeks ago, for my work” she explains.
“Wow, you must really love your job then.” I say, I could never move for my job to a city, where I know nobody.
“Yes and I really like it here so it's not to bad I guess.”
I go down on my knees and softly pet Vilja behind her ears, before getting up and smiling at Tuva.
“It was really nice to meet you two and thanks for walking me home.” I say and she smiles back at me.
“It was really nice to meet you too.” I say, pulling my key out of my pocket and unlocking the door.
I turn back and watch Tuva walk across the street and unlock the door to her own house, I cant help but smile at my self as I walk upstairs and into my apartment.
In the next days and weeks, I meet Tuva more often.
Mostly when one of us I coming back from work or she went on walks with Vilja and sometimes I went with them and we went and grab some Coffee.
And we talked a lot.
She told me that she's from Norway and moved here to get her dream job as a pro soccer player for FC Bayern, and since her family still lives in Norway she is happy that she has Vilja with her.
And to be honest I really really like her.
Probably more than I should.
This weekend she went to Norway to visit her Family and I offered to look after Vilja.
Its Sunday evening and we are laying on the couch together, watching some movie, Vilja laid her head on my tight, while I pet her behind her ears.
“You miss you mom, don't you?” I ask and she pushes her head against my head.
“I miss her too.” I say and look over to the clock on the wall.
Tuva said that her flight lands at 8:30pm and that she need around one hour to get back from the airport.
During the end of the movie I fall asleep and only get woken up by the sound of the doorbell.
I get up and quickly open the door.
“Tuva.” I say and smile at her.
“Hello Y/N.” she answers and pulls me into her hug.
I wrap my arms around her and hold onto her, she smells good, like cinnamon and a little bit like grass but mostly like herself.
After we brake apart, I think her smile is a little bit bigger than before but maybe I’m just imagining things.
“Vilja?” she calls out but I don't her the sound of her paws on the floor, something I really have gotten used to in the last days.
“Come in.” I say and follow her into my small apartment.
Vilja is still laying on the couch and doesn’t even bother to move as Tuva walks in.
“I think someone likes it here, more than they should.” Tuva says, looking at me.
“Its okay, did you eat something for dinner?” I ask and Tuva shakes her head.
“I have some leftover pasta, if you want.” I offer while I’m already on my way into the kitchen.
While I reheat the pasta, Tuva watches me and after a couple of minutes she walks up behind me and wraps her arms around me.
“Thanks for watching over my little girl.” She says and rests her chin on my shoulder.
“Every time.” I say and lean against her.
From the door we hear a loud woof and Tuva stumbles back.
“Look who finally got up.” I say and grab the plate and a fork.
Together we sit down at the small table and I watch her eat, while Vilja climbs on the chair between us.
“How was your weekend?” I ask and watch her looking up at me.
“Good, it was great to see my family again and Bryne is still one of my favorite places.” She explains and I nod.
She tells me more about her weekend and after she finishes her dinner, I grab a bottle of wine and we move over to the couch.
“So you are telling me that everyone in your family is or was playing soccer.” I ask after she told me where she got her love for the game from.
“Nah not everyone, only my siblings and my Dad.”
“Is it hard being the youngest child?”
“Well I cant really tell you that, because I never knew it any different. I mean is it hard being an only child?” she asks back and I nod.
“Yeah, I guess there is no answer to that question.” I say and she laughs.
“Jesus, how can someone be so beautiful.” I ask myself and almost say it out loud.
At some point I catch my self staring at her lips.
“You know, I thought a lot about you, in the last days.” she says, her cheeks turning red.
“Can I try something.” she adds and I nod.
“Close your eyes, please.”
I do as told and feel her coming closer.
So close that I can feel her warmth. So close that I smell her sweet scent. So close that I feel her breath on my face.
And after what feels like eternity, I feel her lips on mine.
Softly.
And slow.
Like she's afraid to hurt me.
After a couple of seconds she notices that I don't pull I way.
I actually do the opposite.
I kiss her back.
And that gives her the confidence, to lay her hand on my cheek and to pull me closer.
I wrap my arms around her shoulder and she softly pushes me back into the couch.
“Wow.” is the only thing I can say after we brake apart, her basically laying on top of me.
“And I thought about doing this.” she says and smiles, while I get lost in the beauty of her eyes.
“I really like kissing you.”
“I really like kissing you too.” she replies and I smile back.
I feel something pushing against my shoulder and look to the side, seeing Vilja there, now that she got our attention she walks towards the door.
“What? Now you wanna go.” Tuva says and rolls her eyes.
“Hey.” I say and her attention shifts back at me.
“If she hadn’t been, we wouldn't be her.” I remind her.
Tuva nods while Vilja sits down and looks at us proudly.
“Yeah, okay.” she says and gets up. “If the princess wants to go home, then I guess we go home.”
I watch her grab her jacket and softly pet Vilja goodnight, before placing a soft kiss on her head.
I’m really gonna miss her.
“You know, if she gets a kiss, its only fair if I get one too.” Tuva says and I look up at her.
I softly grab her by her waist and pull her closer, connection our lips.
“Good night, Tuva.” I whisper, in the small space between us.
“Good night, Y/N.” she answers and opens the door.
I watch them walk down the stair before closing the door and running over to the window to watch them walk into there own house.
At the door, Tuva turns back and spots me watching them.
She blows me a kiss and I feel my cheeks burning red before she follows Vilja inside.
“Damm I’m so in love with you.” I say to myself, knowing that I miss her already.
But I know that I’m gonna see her again, soon.
And I thank god for Vilja.
I don't wanna imagine what happened, if Vilja hadn't been.
