PLATONIC FOS PERSONALITY TYPES AND HOW THEY INTERACT WITH MINE

INFP X INTP

INTPs and INFPs have a shared love of freedom, exploration, and autonomy. INTPs prefer thinking over feeling so they may come across as overly blunt to INFPs, and INFPs may come across as overly-sensitive to INTPs. However, once they get to understand each other there’s usually a very strong bond and mutual appreciation. Both respect each other’s space to feel and think what they want and both have a creative energy that is inspiring to the other.

INFP X ESFP

These two types tend to click because they have a shared passion for authenticity and adventure. ESFPs can help break INFPs out of their shell and introduce them to a variety of exciting experiences. Their enthusiasm and fun-loving nature is often endearing to INFPs. In turn, INFPs can help ESFPs to tap into their emotions more fully and experience life with more depth and imagination. These types tend to bounce ideas and possibilities off each other well, with the ESFP wanting to immediately take action on ideas and the INFP going along for the ride and frequently enjoying the thrill!

INFP X ISTP

These types are very different in many ways, but they tend to click once they get a chance to understand each other. Both ISTPs and INFPs are extremely independent types; they don’t like to be pushed around by other people’s agendas or rules. They both have a fairly live-and-let-live perspective, unless (for INFPs) their values are violated in some way or (for ISTPs) they see someone impeding on their space or harming others with faulty logic. ISTPs can bring a little adventure and practicality into the INFP life and INFPs can bring some imagination and emotional affirmation to the ISTP. These types can clash because they literally share none of the same cognitive functions and they also have preferences in the opposite order (ISTPs are thinkers first/feelers last, INFPs are feelers first/thinkers last). INFP X ISFP

ISFPs and INFPs tend to have a really strong and powerful connection almost immediately. They both are dominant introverted feeling types, so they naturally give each other space to be themselves. They are both idealistic and visionary, with ISFPs having a more down-to-earth, pragmatic bent while INFPs are more focused on imagination and conceptualization. Together they can broaden each other’s worlds and help each other to have more open-minded, balanced perspectives.

INFP X ENFP

ENFPs and INFPs tend to have really close, trusting bonds. Because these types share the same cognitive functions, they tend to innately “get” each other without as much trouble as many other type pairings. INFPs enjoy the fun-loving, enthusiastic nature of ENFPs. Adventurous ENFPs can help them get out of their heads and build up the courage to try new, spontaneous pursuits. ENFPs in turn appreciate the depth and gentleness of the INFP personality type.

INFP X INFJ

INFJs and INFPs share a mutual love of meaningful, deep conversation. These types tend to thrive as friends when they give each other space to be their authentic selves. While they share none of the same cognitive functions, because they share three preferences (Introversion, Intuition, Feeling) they tend to respect each other’s individual needs, empathize readily, and connect over ideas and possibilities.

INFP X ESTP

Opposites in many respects, ESTPs and INFPs can definitely help each other grow, but they will also push each other beyond their natural comfort-zones. This isn’t typically a “comfortable” relationship, but it can evolve into that if both types share mutual respect and have common values. ESTPs can help INFPs to experience the tangible world in a vivid and immersive way. INFPs can help ESTPs to understand a deeper more emotionally authentic side of themselves.

INFP X ENTJ

ENTJs and INFPs are very different at first glance, but these two types can really help each other grow. INFPs are often inspired by the big-picture, strategic, action-oriented nature of the ENTJ. ENTJs in turn find the warmth, authenticity, and imagination of the INFP intriguing. They can both help each other in contrasting ways. ENTJs can help INFPs bring their ideas to life and tap into their thinking side. They can also help them refine their ideas and create strategies for their realization. INFPs, in turn, can help ENTJs delve into their deeper feelings and values. They can also help them to see innovative alternatives and possibilities so they don’t get stuck in tunnel vision.

🍩 - what are some irl things that remind you of your f/o?

Rooftops. When I sit down and look out the window I often imagine him running across the rooftop, or sitting there too. It helps brighten up things.

🍓 - what's a bad habit your f/o has?

Smoking.

Angelo smokes like a chimney and being from the future I know all the side effects. When I tell him off does he listen? Nope, not at all. His excuse is that he's bound to die soon anyway, to which this always makes me sad that he views his future like that.

After he becomes an Addams he says that the smoke can't hurt him now. Honestly, I can't win against him. The best I can do is steal the cigarettes from his mouth each time I can.

🍦 - what's your f/o's favorite way to show affection? are there any little things they do to indicate their appreciation for you?

Quiet and thoughtful, Chise is an act of service type of girl. Sharing food is her top pick, or sharing anything really. She's just that type of girl.

1 ~ What presents does your f/o get you?

Money and a baby ruth bar is the best he can do when he’s locked in the BPRD Headsquares. Its not as if he can just walk out the front door and go shopping.

2 ~ Does your f/o throw you a birthday party? if so, what is it like? is it a surprise party or did you know about it? where is it located? what is the theme?

Hellboy would be more likely to takes me to a hole in the wall shady bar. We’d share a bottle of tequila and just talk till the other agents notice that we’re missing and brings us back. 

6 ~ What does your f/o's birthday outfit look like?

the same as his usual outfit: Tanned trench coat, button up shirt, loose tie, dress trousers and shoes. Maybe a party hat or a paper crown if he’s in the mood.

9 ~ What does the birthday card your f/o made for you look like?

John wouldn't make a birthday card, not his style. He would be more likely to grab one at a gas stop. Probably have a pink heart and large 23 on it.

1- How excitable does your F/O get when your birthday comes around?

Dabi doesn’t get too excited. The mas has forgotten my birthday multiple times, even through they’re a week apart. He usually does surprise me at the last minute but yeah, for the time leading up to it he’s very casual about it.

3- Is your F/O the type to throw a surprise party? How does it turn out?

Carden is the type to throw a surprise ball. The man will have every lord, lady, servant and sworn to secrecy so that no one can tell me till what’s happening till I’m being thrown into a fancy gown and then fling me into the party. I’m not too much of a party animal so I would most likely dance for a while before sitting with him, probably on one of the arms of his throne. 

4 - What are some gifts your F/O has given you/ would give you for your birthday? If they buy the gift(s) beforehand, where do they hide it, and does it stay hidden until they give it to you, or do you end up accidentally finding it?

Eren would handmade me something, most likely a beaded necklace. The designs would be simple and messily painted on but I would love it all the same. The beads would be in a pattern of red, black, lilac and blue. 

8 - Would your F/O bake a birthday cake for you, or would they buy one from the store? What kind of cake do they make/ get?

Rin would totally make a giant birthday cake, though there is a chance that he would make the same mistake he did for Izumo’s birthday and make it a Christmas cake instead of a birthday cake, accidentally of course  

10 - How does your F/O greet you a happy birthday? is it first thing in the morning? The moment 12AM hits? Do they greet you with a hug? A pat on the head?

Hei would greet me early in the morning, while I’m still in bed and still very much asleep. A few kisses peppered around my face to make me up and a soft “happy birthday” to greet my day with. 

13 - If your F/O were to take you out for your birthday, where would the two of you go?

Hellboy would probably take me to a bar, one that doesn’t mind him being a giant red demon. Lots of alcohol and drunk singing to be promised. 

20 - How does your F/O end off your birthday? Is it with another cheer, or do they quietly tuck you into bed after a tiring but fulfilling day?

Oberon would see me off just as I when I would getting ready for bed. He would hang half out the window and half into my room and ask me how my day was, which would start a long conversation that could last hours. After oh so many yawns he would kiss my forehead and cheerfully pat my head, saying goodnight and happy birthday before blowing some dust (to make me sleep) and jumping back into the night air

 “I hate this.” Hellboy said to Mai, a whisney in his hand and a piece of green tinsel laid across his shoulders. His small companion wasn’t any better. Tinsel lined her shoulders like a boa, her black dress and leggings covered in glitter with her long brown hair full of confetti.  The BPRD Christmas party was in full swing. People were  laughing and drinking and partying. From the corner of his eye Hellboy could see Klarions as he swung from a chandelier in utter chaotic fun. He couldn’t think of anywhere he wouldn’t want to be at right now.

“You say that every year” Mai said as she picked pieces of confetti out of her drink, holding it to the light to see any bits she missed. 

“And every year I mean it,” Hellboy replied back. 

“And who did you get for this year to put you in such a merry mood?” he pointed a stone finger towards the spiked punch bowl where Russell was, with one of the most ugly sweaters Mai had ever seen. The light of its many sequins almost blinded her and its many colours stuck to the back of her head.

“Woa” was all that she could manage to say. Hellboy simply nodded back as he could a sip of his drink.

“Yeah, who was yours?” “Sydney. He got me this” Mai flashed a mango scented bath set like she was a presenter on an 80’s tv show. In the corner was a half scratched out price sticker. He brought no attention towards this as she seemed happy enough with her gift. 

“Nice” Hellboy said. They listened to the party around them as Sinatra’s voice played on till the demon said, 

“So why you here?” Mai's sparkly purple and red glossed lips curled into a mischievous smile as she slipped a hand into the thin air and pulled out a wooden chest.

“Well...I found these at the Troll Market, what do you think? Quite the secret santa, no?” One of her pale hands opened its lid to reveal its treasure. He eyed the gift within it. It was a beauty. Nixies spun glass, shaped like a whirlpool with ribbons of gold cutting through it. Its rim was decorated in a thin layer of gold- most likely goblin forged by the looks of it. 

“Looks expensive - how much did you spend” he leveled her a look which she returned in kind with a pout added free of charge.

“Not much, haggled with a domovoy for it” Mai broke out in a grin. She leaned into Hellboy, wrapping her arms as tightly as she could around his torso to give him a hug. He leaned down to give her a hug too. 

“Merry christmas Red” she said as she kissed his check, leaving it with a sparkly kiss print. He found that he didn’t mind. 

“Merry christmas Kid”

8 - how would you describe your relationship with them?

My relationship with Kabane can be explained as “Witchy goth mother who teaches smol undead son magic and love” 

9 - do you use nicknames? do they?

Hellboy calls me “kid” cus I am the youngest agent of the BPRD. I call him Red, its his codename and most people call him it. That's how I ended up calling him it too. 

10 - what is your favourite thing about them?

My favourite thing about Rin is how supportive he is. He doesn't always understand what's going on but If I start something new then he’ll encourage me and will try and help any way he can.

11 - how would you describe your ideal date with them?

My perfect date with Angelo would be an ice cream date, or going to a pancake place. Just eating something sweet and talking would be something perfect for us.

Pumpkin: How much trouble do you and F/O get into together? Whose idea was it?

Morticia and I don’t really get into a lot, not intentional at least. 

Now with Hellboy that’s a different matter. I often help him break out of the B.P.R.D Headquarters with my teleporting abilities and take him to places where he can fit in. If I don’t end up going with him then I try and kept as many people from discovering he’s missing till he comes back. I also often make fun of Manny with him via teasing.

Sweater: What do you think of your F/O’s style?

Hellboy thinks my style is neat. He likes the patches and pins that I wear. But he prefers my more everyday wear than my work way. More 

Morticia approves of my style, she likes that I add lots of velvet and lace. She does wish I used less colour though.
