HurtCember2024; Day 17, Concussion
~~~
The meeting was going smoothly. Jayce had gotten all of the Council to agree and you couldn't help feeling proud of your boyfriend. Mel had posted you just by the door, trusting you above all other enforcers. So, you had the privilege of watching your partners work. It was always your favourite shifts to be on, whenever you got to be their guard for something. Made the whole enforcer gig worth it.
Everything happened fast. You barely even had the chance to react before the Council room was exploded, you had just enough time to shout," Mel! Jayce!" They had time to turn their attention to you. Seeing the panic in your eyes.
Then there was nothing. When you came to you were in what looked like some private hospital room, with Mel pacing the floor and Jayce trying to calm her down.
"They'll be alright," Jayce assured, you could faintly hear what he was saying. It still felt like there was a ringing in your ears, but you could tell. Even before opening your eyes. That he was just as worried as Mel," they're tough. Right? And stubborn. They wouldn't let a building be the reason they can't get up."
"I know, I just.." Mel groaned. The sound of her heels coming to halt, you could only guess she was looking at you," you're awake. Aren't you? I see you hiding that smirk."
You slowly opened your eyes, grinning just a bit. Mel really knew you like the back of her hand, didn't she? She could always call you out, Jayce however looked surprised as ever. But they both looked relieved. You were awake and that's all that mattered to them.
"You're awake!" Jayce smiled, the first he had since everything happened. By now, that was quite some hours ago. He rushed to your bedside, hands cupping you face. You winced at the fast movement and he immediately let go," sorry- sorry- are you.. feeling okay?"
"Give them space to breathe, Jayce," Mel was smiling too when she joined his side. Hand carefully placed to your knee.
"Like you said, a building won't take me down. I'm fine. Mostly," you looked at Jayce with knowing eyes and his cheeks flushed. Mel held back a laugh.
"You heard all that?" Jayce asked.
"The important stuff," you poked his stomach.
"Are you sure you feel fine? The doctor informed us you had a concussion," Mel explained. Your face fell, a concussion? You'd be out of work for at least a week with that. Probably more if it were up to Mel.
Mel couldn't help looking at you with guilt hidden behind her worry. She had tried to protect the both of you, you were just.. too far away from her to fully protect you. Jayce she had been able to reach no problem, but she was still getting the hang of her abilities and you'd paid the price.
"I will be... little bummed I'm going to be off work," you huffed. Jayce couldn't help but laugh.
"It's always work with you, isn't it?" He asked.
"Hey, you two are just as bad!" You folded your arms over your chest, they shared a look with each other. Silently agreeing with you on that.
"Yeah okay, you got us there," Jayce replied.
The rest of the evening was relaxed, filled with easy conversations. Jayce and Mel tried to both be by your side the whole night, but they were needed for one thing or another. However one was always by your side, they didn't want you to be alone and you greatly appreciated them for it. You loved them just as deeply as they loved you.
Imaginary Friend
Pairing: Childhood Imaginary Friend x Gender Neutral Reader
Synopsis: You reconnect with your imaginary friend after moving back to you childhood home. They aren't willing to let you go again.
Work count: 3.0k
Content Warnings: Yandere themes, claustrophobia, death, near-death experiences, sleep paralysis
While you had made the drive back to your old family home more times than you could count, you felt especially exhausted. You barely had enough energy left in you to throw your bags down in your childhood bedroom and collapse onto the old mattress, not even bothering to remove your shoes. You were out cold before you registered the shadowy figure in the back of your closet.
Sometime around 3 am, you awoke to the sound of labored breathing. You panicked when you realized you were unable to move, locked inside your own body. From the corner of your eye, you watched helplessly as an ominous humanoid figure approached your bedside. It drew closer, its very presence dropping the temperature of the air surrounding it. You could only watch helplessly as its face split open to reveal row upon row of razor-sharp teeth drawn upwards into a sinister smile.
“Starlight?”
A familiar voice called out through the darkness. The mention of your childhood nickname opened the floodgates to years of repressed memories.
“Bazel?” you asked incredulously.
“You—you came back for me! I thought you were gone forever. It was so quiet in the house after the accident, and you left, and I—” Their voice cracked, full of emotion and vulnerability,
“Bazel!” You willed your body into mobility again and wrapped your arms around their waist in a tight hug. “I’m so sorry I didn’t come back sooner.”
“No, no, Starlight, I could never be upset with you! I’m sorry I snuck up on you.”
You were still breathing heavily and your heart was racing, but you still managed to laugh. Even after all these years, their personality hadn’t changed one bit. Still the same goofy, overprotective imaginary demon friend from your childhood.
Their appearance, however, was way different than you remembered. They were much taller and lankier. They had always had at least a couple of inches on you, but now they dwarfed you in height. Their skin was dark gray, almost pitch black, and cool to the touch. A smattering of softly glowing white freckles dotted their cheeks and nose, and their fluffy black hair fell in messy bangs framing their face. Their horns, which used to be blunt nubs hidden under their loose curls, were now as long as your hand and swept back over their head like a goat’s.
“You changed! You look so different,” you exclaimed, finally.
“Me? You’re an adult!” They scooted closer to you on the bed to straddle your lap and pinched your cheek affectionately.
“You say that like you're not!”
“No, silly, I’ve got at least another millennium until I’m fully grown. You humans have such strange ways of thinking. Anyways, tell me everything!” They giggled and grabbed your shoulders, pulling you off the bed with them and sending the both of you into a sprawling heap on the floor.
And all of a sudden, it was like you were back there, you and Bazel curled up in a blanket fort long past the witching hour, swapping your deepest secrets, pinkies interlocked as you crossed your hearts and hoped to die, stuck a needle in your eye that you would never tell.
You had laid out the blankets, for old time's sake, and gathered every pillow and plush into a pile on your bedroom floor. You lay side by side, staring up at faintly glowing stick-on stars on your popcorn ceiling. Bazel grabbed your hand, and you let out a breath you didn't realize you'd been holding as their fingers interlaced with yours.
But this time, you found no pleasure in bearing your soul to your childhood friend. Instead of detailing playground drama, you were recounting the accident, the faulty carbon monoxide detector, the day you woke up in the hospital clinging to life by a thread, cheeks flushed cherry red and starved of oxygen, mumbling nonsense about almost making it through the woods. The way your parents had fled the house, so terrified that their only child was so close to death.
By the time you had relayed it all, you felt hollow and had run out of tears to cry. Silent, tearless sobs wracked your body, and you put up no resistance as Bazel wrapped you in their arms and gently nudged your head into the crook of your neck.
“I'm so sorry, Starlight,” they finally spoke, voice barely audible.
“It's not your fault…” you sniffled, hugging them tighter.
“I should have protected you. I promise, Starlight, I'll never let anything take you away from me ever again.”
They rubbed your back as you drifted off into unconsciousness, falling deep into a dreamless sleep.
When you awoke, Bazel was gone. You couldn't be sure they were even there in the first place. While it was the first time you had thought about them since visits with the numerous psychiatrists you had bounced between as an early teenager. The more you woke up, the less and less you could remember Bazel. The memory unraveled like a sweater when you started to pull at it. By the time you had sat down for breakfast, you had convinced yourself that it was all just a dream. And your spine was completely jacked. Last time you slept on the floor, you promised yourself. That kind of thing only flies when you're a kid.
It was true that you had an imaginary friend, though, as a child. Bazel, the monster in your closet turned best friend. But your parents weren’t as big of a fan of Bazel as you were. While parenting magazines and informational guides had prepared them for you wanting to save your imaginary friend a seat at the dinner table, the way you spoke about Bazel was troubling.
It had started off mostly harmless, you telling them about the strange child who lived in the closet and came from the shadow realm. They started to become more skeptical, however, when you began blaming Bazel for knocking things over around the house. They had reassured you that it was okay; you wouldn’t be in trouble; they just wanted you to know that you shouldn’t spend the whole night on the floor or grab things from shelves higher than you. No matter how much they promised they wouldn’t be mad, the excuses continued to escalate. Candles were left burning, broken glass would end up covering the bathroom floor, but the final straw was when they found you seated in the kitchen, unharmed, but surrounded by the contents of the overturned knife block.
“Oh! Sweetheart, are you—No! Don’t move; I don’t want you to hurt yourself. Hang on, I got you.”
“Bazel said it was okay!” You giggled, unfazed by the cutlery surrounding you.
“Oh no, no, sweetie, Bazel’s not real. Let’s, uh, go for a walk to the park! Does that sound okay?”
You had always had a healthy sense of imagination, but as you grew older, your parents grew concerned with the possibility of maladaptive daydreaming. One consult visit with a child psychologist turned into two, then a weekly occurrence. You hated the oppressive atmosphere of the office, the way the adults talked past you as if you weren’t even there, the pitying, self-righteous way the psychologist asked whether your friend was in the room with you. Of course they weren’t. Bazel lived under your bed.
This was a frequent topic when you vented to Bazel late into the night. They shared their own worries too, but they seemed genuinely upset when you recounted the way your therapists and doctors tried to convince you that they were just a coping mechanism for your lacking social life.
After months went by, you finally caved. You gave in to the advice provided by your care team. You expanded your social circle, actively sought out more friends, and let your parents enroll you in countless after-school clubs and extracurricular activities. Around this time, your nighttime conversations with Bazel grew less frequent. They appeared on the darkest nights, when rolling thunder shook the house, but most days you were tired enough to sleep through the night.
Your parents were ecstatic with your progress. They hated to admit it, but the way you spoke about Bazel had started to scare them. They rejoiced every time you asked for a ride to see your new friends. They were over the moon when you asked for permission to have a friend or two over to hang out. Of course they accepted, and you raced to school the next day to let them know that your plans for the weekend had been approved.
That night you had curled up in bed and were just on the verge of unconsciousness when you thought you saw a shadowy figure standing in your open doorway. You blinked, and it vanished. Convincing yourself that it was just a trick of the light, you drew your comforter closer around you and settled in again. When you rolled over, you came face to face with Bazel, lying right next to you.
“Bazel! Where were you? I missed you.”
“You've been avoiding me!” Their tone was indignant and extremely jarring after you hadn’t spoken to them in so long.
“What do you mean?”
“I’ve been trying to visit you every night for the past month. You won’t let me in.
“I’m sorry, I really have no idea what you are talking about.” You were on the verge of tears, unable to understand why your friend was so upset with you.
Seeing you so genuinely confused made their heart melt. You clearly weren’t trying to avoid them, and they missed you so badly, so the only thing they could do was wrap you in a tight hug and sob silently with you until you were both calm.
“Do you not love me anymore?” They finally asked.
“Of course I love you, Bazel. You’re my best friend.”
“I love you too, Starlight. Forever and always.”
“I’m sorry, Bazel. I don’t know what happened. I was waiting for you; I tried. But I was so tired from school, therapy, and appointments; it’s all so much.”
“Therapy?”
“Yeah, I go see counselors and doctors and stuff. We just talked for an hour. It’s kind of exhausting.”
“What do you talk about?”
“Well, life, school, friends. We talked a lot about you at first, but I didn’t like to argue with them. They keep trying to tell me you aren’t real.”
Bazel froze. When they finally spoke, their voice was cold and measured.
“Starlight, what exactly do you mean by that?”
“They keep trying to convince me that you’re just a figment of my imagination. That you aren’t real, and you’re hurting my development.”
“You know I’m real, though, right?” they asked cautiously.
“Of course, you’re sitting right here in front of me.”
“And you know I would do anything to protect you?”
“That’s what best friends do. I would do the same for you.”
“Do you want a break from it?”
“Hmm?”
“Why don't you come to my world? Come with me. You'll never have to worry ever again.” Bazel reached out a hand, which you clasped. “It'll be just the two of us, forever.”
While you had ostensibly returned to your old house to fix it up and sell it, you weren't getting too much actual cleaning done. You had wasted most of an afternoon, and well into the evening, excavating the contents of your closet. Some minor sorting had gotten done, and a few boxes of clothes had been put aside to drop at Goodwill, but for the most part, you were just exploring the myriad of toys and knickknacks squirreled away in the back. You yawned and started to stand up when you heard a familiar voice behind you.
You nodded and followed them as they opened the door to your closet, transfigured into a dark tunnel, lined with jagged branches.
“Looking for something?”
“Nothing in particular. You, I suppose.”
“Well, you found me. You always do.”
“I can't believe I had so much stuff.”
“You'll get through it; you've got all the time in the world.”
“Yeah, I guess you're right.”
“Hey, tell me something.”
“Mhm?”
“The psychologists, did they really make you forget about me?”
Your silence was more than enough of an answer for Bazel. Their face fell.
“I never forgot about you,” they finally whispered.
“I truly am sorry.”
“You came back through; there must have been some part of you that knew I was still here.”
“I guess you’re right.”
“I always am.”
“Hey, tell you what. I’m not going to make any meaningful progress on this tonight, so let me call it quits, and we can stay up late. I think I remember where the blankets are.”
Bazel beamed from ear to pointed ear. Any trace of anger dissipated from their face, and they pulled you into a warm hug, nuzzling their nose against yours.
The blanket fort you constructed was truly impressive. It spanned most of the dining room and was filled to the brim with all sorts of pillows and stuffed animals. You had lit dozens of candles, the small flames illuminating the fabric walls. You and Bazel were currently curled up inside, their head resting on your lap, and you ran your fingers through their wavy black hair. Absent-mindedly, your fingers drifted to their pointed horns, and you began to wonder exactly what kind of creature they were.
“Bazel, you said you were a demon. Did you mean that figuratively, or…?
“I suppose that is what you humans call us. We live in the shadows and eat souls.”
“You eat people?”
“Of course not, just siphon life force. A little at a time. Humans eat animals. I don’t feel my way is particularly gruesome.”
“Have you eaten my soul?”
“What? No, I don’t feed off you. You’re too full of light and life. You’re far better as a friend than food.”
“But you tried. The first night I came back.”
“To be fair, I didn’t realize it was you at first. You looked so different. I almost couldn’t help myself.”
“What do you do instead?”
“I eat your dreams.”
“What?”
“You ever wake up from a dream and can’t remember anything about it, but know it was there? I ate it. You have very nice dreams, full of creativity and life.”
You were silent for a long while.
“Is that why you stay?” you finally asked.
“Of course not, I enjoy your company. I get lonely in the dark. You’ve always been the one bright spot in my life. My little Starlight.”
They reached one finger up to your face and playfully booped your nose, giggling. Their glowing white freckles seemed to flicker gently, their pitch-black eyes reflecting the warm candlelight.
The woods were exactly the same as you remembered them. A dark forest threatening to swallow up the tiny path. Gnarly branches, black as tar oil and covered with thorns, pulled at your clothes and scratched your face. Bazel pulled you closer to them, shielding you from their grasp.
You smiled, allowing yourself to relax. You missed the way that you and Bazel used to pass the nights. You longed to forget your responsibilities, your worries, to fall asleep in the arms of your closest friend. So you did.
“It’s alright, Starlight, I won’t let them take you away from me.”
You trudged on, screwing your eyes shut and letting Bazel guide you through the thicket. You were older now, taller, and it was harder to make it through the passage than last time. The air was bitter cold, and the wind shrieked all around you. When you felt their grip on your hand start to loosen, you cried out and grabbed for their wrist, holding on like your life depended on it.
After what felt like an eternity, Bazel took you by the hand and pulled you away from the last of the wild trees. You opened your eyes to see them checking you all over for signs of injury. Aside from a few light scratches, you had escaped mostly unscathed.
“You made it,” Bazel’s voice was almost incredulous.
They were right to be worried. The last time you were here, you hadn’t. A sound, a familiar voice, a trick of the woods, had startled you, and you had slipped from their grasp. They had turned, but too late, and could only watch as your face disappeared behind layers of thorns and black bark.
You hugged them, standing for what could have been minutes or hours in silence, your face nestled against their chest.
“Starlight, you made it. We made it.,” they repeated. “I can’t believe it. Thank you. I’m so proud of you.”
You were a little confused; after all, it was them who had done all the work, guiding you through the claustrophobic woods, but you stayed in their embrace. It felt nice to have them offer such unconditional praise. You couldn’t say you didn’t enjoy it.
Finally, they released you, only to grasp both of your hands and stare deep into your eyes. An exuberant smile was forming on their face, wider than you had ever seen before, and they looked expectantly at you.
“We finally made it, Starlight.”
“Made it where?” you asked, still confused.
“We crossed the veil; we made it to my realm. Like I promised you all those years ago. But we did it this time.”
Their enthusiasm was too infectious; you couldn’t help smiling, even if you didn’t understand completely.
“Nothing will ever take you away from me again. I’ll make sure of it. I can’t believe it. I love you, Starlight," they were rambling at this point, too caught up in their emotions to notice.
They let go of only one of your hands and turned to face the open expanse of void on the other side of the woods.
“Now where do we go?” you asked, voice trailing off into silence, tinged with fear.
“Anywhere you desire, Starlight. As long as we’re together.”
Nothing Left: Chapter 4
I am a few days late in getting this out as family drama plus the holidays plus moving is hard.
I will try to get another chapter out by the 4th, but between then and now is Christmas, Hanukkah, my birthday, New Years, and my partner's birthday, so who knows!
Fic Summary: You hadn’t spoken in years. Technically, you had the ability to, though as the years wore on, you weren’t so sure. You’d settled in Jackson over a year ago and now it was fall again. You are drawn towards Ellie and her ‘not-dad’, but you had always assumed any relationships deeper than surface level were beyond you at this point.
Chapter Summary: Waking up with injuries makes you realize the strength of your community.
Pairing: Joel Miller x nonbinary!Reader/OC (afab, short hair, tall, dimples, has multiple nicknames but none are their name)
Word Count: ~2.8k
MAIN MASTERLIST
Read on AO3
Series Warnings: This is my first fanfic and I plan to go into some dark stuff including some in-depth discussion of SA that was done to the main character (not by Joel) and the mental impact it has. I am unsure if I will be writing smut as I never have before but I will update the warnings if that changes. There definitely will be allusions to smut if nothing else, so MINORS DNI!
Chapter Warnings: Talk of injuries. Concussion recovery.
Chapter 4
Throbbing and sharp. Those were the only sensations you could identify. You slowly became aware of sounds around you. Shuffling and muffled voices. You tried to grasp onto what was being said but it just made everything hurt worse. Before you knew it, sleep was pulling you under again.
The next time you came to, you were still in pain, but slightly more aware. This time, you didn’t hear any more voices, just the general hum of the room. You squeezed your eyes shut tighter than they already were in the hopes that when you opened them, the light wouldn’t be too blinding. When you finally cracked your eyes open, you were pleasantly surprised to find that the lights were off and the curtains were drawn. After a few more blinks, you realized that you were laying in a room at the clinic.
Your memories were coming back slowly and they were skipping and stuttering like a damaged record. From your left, you heard a little gasp and a whispered “Holy shit, you’re up!,” which forced you to move your head a little too quickly to the side to see the source of the sound. You were surprised when your eyes met with a shocked-looking Ellie, who was sitting in the chair next to you.
“You’ve been out for like 2 hours, dude,” Ellie told you. “Joel and Eugene were here but had to report what happened to Maria. They also went home to shower cause you guys are gross. You could use one too.”
You cracked a small smile at that and tried to sit up a bit. Pain shot through your ribs, tailbone, head and neck at the action and you hissed and laid back down.
“Careful, you don’t look so great,” Ellie said, looking a little out of her element. She waited a moment before adding, “Heard you were pretty badass.”
You raised your eyebrows at the surprised tone in her voice.
“Not that someone like you couldn’t be!” Ellie quickly backtracked. “You’re just… quiet. So I guess I didn’t know you would be.”
You smirked at how uncomfortable she looked and rolled your eyes playfully, despite the pain it caused you.
The click of the door pulled your attention to the front of the work. A much cleaner looking Joel stepped through the door. His hair was still wet and slicked back from his shower. His eyes were down, but when he stepped in the room, they lifted and locked with yours. He seemed a little taken aback to see you awake.
Instead of directly addressing you, he turned to Ellie. “You call a doctor in here?”
“No,” Ellie replied. “Charlie just woke up.”
Without another word, Joel turned on his heel and walked right out the door.
You turned to Ellie and caught her trying hard not to smile at the awkward interaction. You playfully swatted her shoulder, forcing out a little laugh from her chest.
“I’ve never seen you guys interact,” she commented. “It’s kinda funny since Joel doesn’t really talk much to other people either.”
You smiled good-naturedly in reply.
The door opened again and June, one of the two doctors, walked in with Joel and Maria trailing behind her.
June was a woman in her late 60s who had seen it all. She was caring but blunt at times. You admired her. She narrowed her eyes at you.
“We gave you five stitches in your leg. You look to have some bruised ribs and a severe concussion.” June stated. “Since concussions can get worse over time, you’ll need to be observed over the next few days. You’re being pulled from work until you recover, which could take a while. No reading until I say so.”
You were taken aback to hear it all laid out. You were unsure how to respond. Staying at the clinic for a few days sounded horrible to you.
“Maria has offered to have you stay at her and Tommy’s until I give the ok for you to be on your own. Otherwise, you can stay here.” June concluded.
Your eyes darted to Maria, who was smiling kindly at you.
“Ellie also offered to have you stay with her, but I’m not sure she consulted with Joel on that” Maria added, smirking.
Joel looked surprised to hear this news but quickly schooled his face into a frown, glancing at a nervous looking Ellie as he did.
“You’re welcome to stay with us, but I think you’d be more comfortable with Maria” Joel said, avoiding your eyes.
You shouldn’t have been surprised that Maria wanted to help you, but you honestly were. You were even more surprised that Joel hadn’t shut down the idea of staying at his more harshly. In reply, you smiled and signed ‘thank you’ at both of them. You then signed ‘I’ll go with you’ towards Maria, despite your embarrassment at needing to be cared for.
“Great!” Maria replied. “If it’s ok with you, I’ll run over to yours and grab some of your clothes and a toothbrush. Is there anything else I should grab from over there?”
You timidly shook your head. You felt weird having someone else enter your space, but you had nothing to hide and your head hurt too much to figure out how to fight it.
Maria took that as a cue to go and get a head start, leaving Ellie, Joel and June in the room with you. Joel looked uncomfortable and out of place, but strangely didn’t move to leave.
June stared at you for a bit.
“I want to evaluate you better now that you are up, but to be honest I am not sure how since you don’t speak. I don’t want you writing, because focusing that hard could be worse for you.” June stated.
You felt shame run through you as you pointed your eyes to the ground. Speaking came so naturally for everyone else. It came naturally to you before. You’d done it for decades before all of this. You could hear a roaring in your ears and you focused all of your brain power on not letting your tears fall.
The room had fallen silent following June’s words. After about 30 seconds of almost unbearable silence, Ellie piped up. “So… are you gonna check them out in any way or did you just want to say it to say it?”
Joel coughed loudly and June’s eyes widened. June looked taken aback, but not offended.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean anything by it.” June said kindly. “I was just trying to think through this a bit out loud. Why don’t I ask you a few questions that can be answered with a yes or no or a number?”
You gratefully nodded your hand ‘yes’ in reply.
“Do you remember how many times you lost consciousness since the injury?”
You confidently held up one finger before realizing that you actually couldn’t remember. Hesitantly, with your eyebrows pulling together in concentration, you started to put up another finger with the first.
“It’s ok if you don’t remember. You can also answer that you don’t know.” June encouraged. “Did you vomit at all?”
You shook your hand ‘yes’.
“How many times?”
Feeling confident again, you held up one finger. Movement caught your attention from the corner of your eye, and you saw June look to Joel as well, who you realized was shaking his head ‘no’.
Your mouth opened in surprise. Could you really not remember? Suddenly feeling dumb, you looked at your hands.
The questions went on for a while, and by the end you felt humiliated and exhausted. June excused herself to write down some instructions for you.
“You did really well today. You’ll be ok. I’m sure you’re just in some pain.” Joel said quietly, surprising you.
You looked up at him and smiled in thanks. Ellie inhaled as if to tack on another sassy comment, when the door opened revealing Maria.
“I dropped off some of your stuff with Tommy at the house. Do you want to try and get over there now or do you need to rest first?” Maria asked.
Despite your exhaustion, the thought of staying in the clinic longer made you uncomfortable. Doctors had always made you nervous in a way that you were probably too old to still be feeling after all these years. You quickly signed that you wanted to go.
Maria nodded, understanding.
“What did Charlie say?” Ellie asked.
Maria raised her eyebrows. “Charlie?”
“It’s what Eugene calls them and said it made ‘em smile the first time,” Ellie said, shrugging.
“Hmm.” Maria said thoughtfully while looking into your eyes with intensity. “The signs that I knew were ‘I’ ‘want’ ‘go’ ‘now’” she added, imitating the signs you had used.
Ellie repeated the signs while speaking, looking to you in validation. You nodded and smiled at her. Out of the corner of your eye, you saw Joel attempting to subtly try the signs out as well. You bit the inside of your cheek to keep your smile from growing.
Walking all the way to Maria’s house turned out to be a harder task than you anticipated. You were thankful for Maria’s arm interlocked with yours and for Ellie on your other side. Joel was hovering behind you, keeping so close that it surprised you.
You stopped 5 times on the way to squeeze your eyes shut to try and stop the world from spinning. A block away from the house, you vomited again. You felt Joel’s arms grasp your upper body to keep you up.
“Aww, sick!” Ellie exclaimed.
This made you laugh and then cough a bit. You felt quite pitiful making your way up the front steps, but also proud that you hadn’t passed out again.
Maria’s house was comforting. It was lived in just enough to be cozy.
“You’ll be staying on the first floor if that is ok with you.” Maria said.
You were grateful that the door to the room was only a few steps away as you felt yourself fading. After Ellie and Maria deposited you on the bed, Ellie and Joel said goodbye and Ellie promised to visit you soon. As she left, you reflected on how much space the girl now took up in your heart after only a few interactions. You smiled, lost in thought.
“I know you are probably exhausted, but I thought you might want to wash up before you go to sleep again.” Maria commented. “There is a bathroom across the hall. Should I start a bath for you? I can help you in and out if you are comfortable with that.”
You weighed how tired you get against the itchiness on your skin. Taking a bath in front of Maria would feel vulnerable, but you weren’t sure that you could do it alone. After a small hesitation, you nodded your hand at Maria, who smiled and exited the room quickly. Moments later you heard the water turn on.
Looking around the small room, you noticed a bag from your house sat atop the dresser. You shakily stood and walked towards it. Unzipping the bag, you selected a shirt, sweatpants, underwear and socks that had never looked comfier. You took a moment to steady yourself on the dresser before beginning to turn around again. Maria stepped back in the room then, tutting at you.
“You were supposed to wait for me.” She said as she moved to help you towards the door.
She thankfully gave you some privacy so you could go to the bathroom before your bath. While you were washing your hands, you looked up and caught your own eye in the mirror. You were shocked at your reflection. Your face was covered in streaks of dirt and a bit of blood, that looked like someone had tried to wipe off a bit after some of it had dried. There were the beginnings of a dark bruise forming along your cheekbone and your lip was split. It was hard to focus, so you quickly finished washing your hands and used the toothbrush Maria had brought from yours to wash out your mouth. You opened the bathroom door again to find Maria standing patiently with a towel, a washcloth, and a stool.
You smiled as you let her slip past before you closed the door again. You took a breath before moving your hands to the bottom of your shirt. About halfway through lifting it over your head, the pain in your ribs decided it would not tolerate being pushed to the side anymore, forcing you to hiss and drop your arms.
“You don’t accept help easily, do you?” Maria commented, moving to help you.
She was respectful and didn’t make you feel too uncomfortable as she helped you undress and lower yourself into the bath. You were pretty sure that without Maria’s help, you would have split your head open trying to lay down, so you signed ‘thank you’ for what felt like the 100th time today.
The warm water not only began to wash away the grime, but it was helping some of your pain as well. You felt your muscles relax a bit and you sank lower into the water.
“You have a big fan club, you know.” Maria said, handing you a washcloth.
You frowned in confusion at her.
“A lot of people were worried when you came in, slung over that horse.”
You huffed and rolled your eyes lightly. You weren’t close with many people in Jackson. They probably would have been worried to see any human body slumped across a saddle. You’re sure it wasn’t a pretty sight.
“I’m serious!” Maria exclaimed. “Don’t belittle your worth here. I am so thankful that you are a part of this community. A lot of people are.”
You looked down, focusing on cleaning your skin so you wouldn’t have to think too hard about the effect of her words.
“I know it must be hard. Having a communication barrier on top of everything else at the end of the world.” She said, smiling at you as she grabbed a cup from the counter. “Can I help with your hair?”
You nodded lazily, sitting up and hugging one of your knees slightly, (one of your legs was propped up slightly above the water to not get your stitches wet) feeling at least 30 years younger in this position, despite the pull of your muscles and aches from your fall.
Maria kept speaking to you as she washed and rinsed your hair, carefully rubbing in the shampoo and moving away from any spots that made you wince.
“When I first met you, I kind of thought that you would start speaking within a day or two. It took me a while to understand that you wouldn’t. Probably even longer to fully accept it. Honestly, there is probably a part of me that still hopes.”
You chuckled in reply and signed ‘same’. Maria laughed lightly.
“I just feel like you are holding some scathing jokes back with all of your observations. Someday I’ll learn enough signs for you to tell me.” She said, waggling her eyebrows, causing you to exhale a laugh again. “You’re one of the people in this town I trust the most. I can’t quite say why. I’d leave my kid with you more readily than a lot of them. And I really do enjoy your company.”
You could feel a few tears making their way out of the corners of your eyes as your nose burned. People rarely talked to you about you unless it was to ask questions that you couldn’t answer. Maria’s words made you feel more deeply the relationships your silence had robbed you of. You were grateful that it hadn’t robbed you of Maria’s friendship.
“Now that I think about that, I am wondering if that makes me a narcissist. I swear I like you for you and not just that I like hearing myself talk.” She said with furrowed brows.
This startled a full blown laugh out of you, and she joined in. After a moment though, the laughter hurt your head and your ribs and you clutched your head. Maria sobered instantly and suggested it was time for you to get out and lay down. You agreed. The process of getting out of the tub and getting dressed was somehow twice as hard as getting in, and you found that any self consciousness fell away as you focused all your energy on staying upright. It wasn’t like Maria hadn’t seen a body before. And this far into the end of the world, everyone’s bodies were covered in scars, big and small.
You were thankful when Maria finally helped you to lay down fully under the sheets on the bed, your eyes already fighting to stay open.
“I’ll be back to check on you while you sleep every once and a while. I’ll try to keep it consistent so I can help if you need anything as well.” Maria stated. “Sorry in advance for any baby screams you may hear.”
Your lips turned up as you remembered the pudge on her baby’s face.
As your eyes slid closed, you heard Maria murmur “Rest” before the familiar click of a door closing lulled you to sleep.
Yk the drill here are the warnings!! ;P
Character- nanami/gojo/suguru
Warning- UNEDITED smut! (Duh) dom reader (double duh) miss use of a human being (nanami) you can read it as fem reader but it’s kinda nb
I feel a little silly and goofy
—————————————
Kento Nanami - human furniture /toys/gagged/orgasm denial/soft dom reader
“Hello how may I help you?” You said sweetly to the person at the other side of the phone. “Mr.Nanami?- Oh, he is a bit busy at the moment.” You replied, setting the vibrators too high. A few whimpers escaped Kentos' gagged drooling mouth. Crossing your legs and placing a hand on his blonde hair, rubbing it gently, trying to soothe his nerves. “Mhm! Yes, I’ll tell him no worries.” You cheered before glaring down at the man that was trying to speak muffled words. “Ok have a nice day~” You spoke smoothly before hanging up.
you bent down to Kento’s face, pulling him gently by the hair. “Hmm last thing I remember is that chairs don’t talk, right? Or am I mistaken?” You said with a gentle voice as the man looked at you with dizzy adoration his face flushed to his forehead, drool hanging from his chin, dripping down to his flush neck.
You leaned on the desk head laying on your hand. You played with the remotes, one connected to the vibrator in his ass the other connected to the toy wrapped around his dick both vibrating intensely. Leaning down, you see his dick twitch inside the toy. You could tell he was close his pre was basically dripping out.
Nanami's body shakes, face hot. He is close so close he feels if he could get his release right now, he would faint. Feverishly, he twitched and hummed at the vibration. oh, how cruel you are. With a click of your tongue, you lowered the intensity of the vibration.
“Can't have you break so soon.” You coo, leaving light touches over his shoulder blade to the shell of his ear, then cupping his face, his brows knitted together eyes rimmed with glossy tears, basically begging you for the flash of bliss he needs. Feeling his shaky breath on your skin as he nuzzled into your palm, you grin.
"Be quite and I'll let you cum."
Suguru Geto - bondage /pegging/degrading/ hard dom reader
Suguru was tied up by red rope his arms behind his back and his face smushed to the ground, body twitch with every thrust of your hips. "That's it- taking it like the fucking slut you are." You said with gritted teeth griping his waist leaving cresent marks on his pale skin.
his head rose up, pink swollen lips moaning your name as you fuck him out his mind. "Ha-hah plea-please-please-please." Suguru pleaded his voice cracking and shaking feeling his head go fuzzy as he felt the throbbing climax rising hot from his groin to his neck and ears.
Suguru’s eyes rolled back as you stroked his worked-out dick crashing your hips deliciously against his ass. "C-Close!" He winced out the climax build up almost painful on his dick. His heavy breathing turning into bitchy little whimpers as you pick up the pace slamming into that sweet spot that made him see stars. "Your close again? What a dirty fucking bod you got Suguru." you teased flipping him over on his back to see his fucked-out face. Spreading his legs wide and pulling him closer to you, watching how he bit his lip when your eyes met.
"So, fucking pretty.” You say breathlessly, pulling one of his legs over your shoulder and leaning down to kiss his lips followed with a playful bite. "Make a mess for me ya?” You asked going down to his chest licking and sucking on his nipple earning a high-pitched whimpering hum. His body arches up as you bit gentle at his sensitive bud his eyes wide and mouth agape as he feels that tight coil in his stomach snap as he spurts out a hot load on his stomach. His body shakes and legs twitch as his last drops of cum spill out of his length as you fuck him through his orgasm. “Fuck- you came so much.” You said slowing down your thrusts kissing his jaw and corner of his lip, his face messy and sleepy.
“that’s it for today, ya?” You said, looking at the red panting man below you.
Satoru Gojo - voyeurism(you)/ feet kissing and licking foot job/ leg riding/brat taming
“F-fuck-need to cum.” Satoru bit his shirt between his teeth as he strokes himself blue eyes looking into yours as you sit pretty on the chair in front of him. “Such a foul mouth you got their Satoru.. is this really exciting to you?” You teased. “N-no you won’t let me fuck you.” He spat as he fist fucks himself. “Oh really? But this thing shows me you’re having fun.” You joke moving your foot to rub at his hard-on.
A rush of pleasure made Satoru shiver and moan out. “h-hah shit!- S-stop that!” He said, grabbing at your thigh, digging his nails into your plush skin. you hummed, stretching out a hand. You pat his fluffy white hair. “How can I? You’re so pretty when you're a mess.” You replied, looking down at the man as his hips grind on your foot desperately. “You’re being mean…” he grumbled as he glared at you through white lashes.
With a relaxed expression, you moved your leg away from him as you spoke. “Now would a mean person let you do this, or would a mean person get up and leave you to yourself?” Crossing your legs, you stare down at him, his eyebrows furrowed in frustration “your choice, Satoru.” You smile.
With a shaky sigh, he began to kiss your foot, starting from the heel to the toes, lapping at them as he stroked himself. He kissed up to your knee gasping when he feels the soul of your foot rub against his tip making him let out whimpers his hips moving up to reach your foot pre cum rubbing onto you. Satoru moved to grip at your thigh as he fucks onto you, dick rubbing at your leg smearing it with his wetness “f-finally” he grunts hips thrust wildely, impatiently for release. You soothe him by rubbing his hair and caressing his face tilting it up to see his light blush on his cheeks dipping your thumb into his mouth to press on his tongue.
Gojo gulped down his pride and pleaded. “O-ok! Stay, please - just... Let me finish - I’ll be good..” He begged, pawing at the chair, looking up at you with blush dusted over his cheeks. With an eye roll, you crumbled and sighed. “..Fine” Satoru’s face lit up, “but” you continued. “You can only cum with my leg- that’s it.” you smile warmly at the distraught looking man on his knees.
“Are you kidding me? No! I want all of you-plea-” You click your tongue. “Do you think you deserve to fuck me? Just this would be enough, yeah? Take it or leave it.” You spat. "Fine!” Gojo pouted, getting into a comfortable position. “Hold it, Satoru.” You said, pushing him away with your foot. “What? I’m doing what I’m told.” He sassed. You pulled up your leg. “Don’t you wanna saver it?” You joke earning an eyeroll from him, but he still obeyed.
“So pretty when you’re worked up” you coo watch the man twitch and gasp as he stares at you his face presses to your knee, his thrusts speeding up with the praise. “ha-ha-ah” he was vocal, his jaw clenched as he breathed in soon to loosen to release choppy moans. You roughly pull him by his hair leaning your body towards his giving him a deep and sloppy kiss which he returned with frantic need drool pooling from the corner of his lips pulling away you huff “that’s it pretty boy” you talk him through the erratic thrusts of his. “Fuck! I’m gonna cum” he said through gritted teeth and you hum rocking your foot up and down his shaft that was wet with saliva and pre cum. “Like a bitch in heat.” You murmur against his lips “come on satoru show me your worth yeah?”
The white haired man’s breath hitched as the burning of climax bursts. His body pulsing as a hot wave crashes through him his nails digging and roaming your skin as spirts of white cum smear on your foot dripping to the floor. You could feel the pulsing against your skin, and you hum as you watch his head drop to your lap
“there there wasn’t that good?” You said softly, rubbing as satoru grumbles and presses his face on your thigh.
“Dude, you're gonna have to grow some balls at some point…”
“Shut the fuck up, man!”
Theo laid a slap to the back of one of his best mate’s heads. Enzo was a great friend, but he tended to be a bit too judgmental when it came to you.
Theo had had some sort of feelings for you since he first met you, but whether they were platonic or romantic or…something else, he wasn’t sure.
Enzo seemed to be completely confident that Theo’s feelings for you—whatever they may be categorized as—could be chalked up to one thing only: love.
Every time Theo heard Enzo pleading with him to just ask you out or grab your hand while he was walking next to you, he lost more patience. The boy sitting next to him was stupid, but sometimes he wondered if he should even be permitted to attend Hogwarts.
“I don’t know, man,” Mattheo piped up. “Maybe Enzo’s right…you seem pretty into them every time we all hang out.” The dark boy diagonal from Theo shrugged his shoulders.
“How would either of you know how I’m feeling?” Theo asked, throwing his hands up in frustration.
“I don’t know, maybe it’s because you fucking gawk at them everytime they’re around—I mean, you’re practically fucking drooling,” Enzo said, pursing his lips.
“Whatever, I am not.”
“‘Not,’” Enzo mouthed to Mattheo, making air quotes with his fingers.
Theo clenched his jaw and shoved the boy over, before getting to his feet.
The three of them had been sitting next to the Black Lake during dinner, hoping to get away from some of the noisy chatter in the Great Hall.
“Look, just try it out,” Mattheo suggested, squinting against the sun. “Think about it tonight—”
“When you’re alone in bed and about to rub one out!” Enzo cut Mattheo off. Theo glared down at him in disgust. Just before he could react to what the boy had said, Mattheo smacked Enzo on the back of the head.
“No, that’s not what I meant,” Mattheo started back. “I meant to mull it over as you’re about to fall asleep tonight. That’s generally when I can get the most thinking done. It’s quiet and nonjudgmental.”
He glared over at Enzo.
“Alright, then,” Theo sighed, pressing a thumb and forefinger to the bridge of his nose. “I guess I will.”
Once the three of them had separated and gone their own ways, Theo decided to make a change to his evening plans.
He had originally planned on following Mattheo down to the Three Broomsticks for a mug of Butterbeer, but—upon the dark-haired boy’s suggestion of staying inhe decided to head back into the castle.
He’d have a bit of a shower then take an early night so he could think about what he wanted to do. What he wanted to do about you.
It wasn’t just the constant pressure from Enzo to ask you out that had you circling around his thoughts. He didn’t need the badgering from his friends to think about you.
Theo thought of you all the time anyway, with little being prioritized over you. The confusing nature of the feelings came from the fact that his thoughts of you were so often varied.
One minute, he’d be thinking of your laugh—the way you tilted your head back, eyes clenched, with mouth wide, smile glistening. Next, he’d be imagining you naked above him, begging for him to give you more.
It’d been this way forever. He wanted you in more ways than one, but just one of those ways would ruin every other.
If Theo admitted that he wanted to be the last face you saw every night and the first you saw every morning, and you rejected him, he’d never heal from it. He needed you too much in any way to let something get in the way of that.
So he’d held back for years and years, until, apparently, he’d started to become a little too obvious. At least, enough so that Mattheo and Enzo had noticed.
Now, with the support—and borderline bullying—from them, he was feeling confident. Like he could actually ask you to be his.
Still, he hesitated.
He made his way through the castle, counting the sconces on the wall and running through example admissions he could give you. If he were to tell you how he felt, he couldn’t fuck it up.
You deserved the best of him, if you even deserved him at all. Theo wasn’t much compared to you, but everything he felt for you was genuine and that wasn’t something that was so easy to explain to Mattheo and Enzo, assholes as they were.
He stopped before the entrance to the Slytherin common room, mumbled the password, and made his way through, hardly straying from his imaginary conversations.
Distractedly, he headed upstairs and prepared himself a shower.
Mattheo said he thought the best while laying in bed, but Theo wondered if the shower might be a better alternative for him. He worried that he might not ever get to sleep if he let all of his thoughts pool into one part of his day.
So, he shed his clothes, pulled the water as hot as it would go and stepped beneath the boiling rain.
Between the steam and the warmth, he could’ve fallen asleep, but the thoughts of telling you how he felt kept him wired enough to focus.
There were a thousand possibilities swirling through his head, trying to guide him in the right direction.
He weighed a couple options back and forth, trying to let imagined scenarios play out with each, but no matter what he said or did, it always ended with him embarrassing himself, you hating him, or him accidentally setting something on fire. Never mind that last option—there was a brief consideration of fireworks.
He let the water run across his shoulders and slip down his chest. He applied a bit of hair oils to his hands, letting the personal concoction he’d whipped up settle in his palm. He’d always had pretty dry hair but it tended to get a bit oily during this time of year, leading him to switch over to a different product—or, rather, a combination of products.
He lathered the oils in his hair and closed his eyes.
The massage his fingers applied to his head was just relaxing enough to keep his mind occupied for a second. He didn’t stop thinking of you—he never did—but he was allowed a few moments’ peace. He accepted the nurturing sensation, attempting to ignore his imagination trying to replace his hands with yours.
Then, suddenly, he got it! He knew exactly how to tell you how he felt.
He quickly rinsed all of the remaining bubbles from his hair and scrubbed the rest of his body, before shutting the water off and whispering a small spell. In an instant, the wetness coating his body evaporated into thin air, and he was bone-dry.
He slipped his pajamas on, gathered his day clothes, and made his way back to the dorm.
If he was going to do this, he wanted to make sure he did it properly. He had about a thousand ideas, a notebook, quill, and ten hours to kill. Needless to say, he wouldn’t be sleeping tonight.
- - -
You set yourself down at the end of the Slytherin table and poured a bit of coffee into your mug.
With the night you had just before, you could use a bit of caffeine. Nothing you had expected to happen yesterday did, and everything you hadn’t expected to happen had. In ten fold.
Between the three tests, the spilled pumpkin juice all over your bottoms, the near-fight between your best friend, Draco, and some Gryffindor, you had had enough by the end of all of it.
You had wanted to sleep after all of the activity. But, instead, you had Cormac McLaggen.
And you had gotten all of him. From his chestnut curls to his strong arms to his hips moving against yours. Thank Merlin he was a Quidditch player with immense stamina, else the two of you never would have lasted past the third or fourth rounds.
A smirk appeared across your face at the thought of him and everything he had given you last night. Even with how insufferable he was as soon as he decided to talk, his mouth seemed proficient in other things.
You sipped your coffee as students began to file in, lazily scuffing their feet across the floor, urgent to get a muffin.
Despite your urge to busy your mind with schoolwork and your plans for the day, it kept falling back to that stupid Gryffindor boy.
His fingers weren’t the most skilled, nor was the rest of his body, but he followed instructions like he was born to do so.
But even though he had done so well for you last night, and even though he’d seemed so eager to please, your mind couldn’t help but stray when you were with him last night. It couldn’t help but stray even now. Stray to a different boy.
Theodore Nott. The most gorgeous boy you’d ever laid your eyes on. Draco had introduced you to him during your first year; he’d said their fathers knew each other. Needless to say, you’d knew you wanted to be with him from the moment you saw him.
Even when you had no others, Theodore Nott was your goal.
Seconds into thinking about Theo, and you were already thinking about his body, and replacing Cormac’s touch with his. Just like you had last night.
Perhaps it was unfair to Cormac, but you both knew you hadn’t hooked up for ‘love’—more like mutual attraction and convenience.
You were thinking about the way Cormac had gasped above you and the way his mouth had felt on you, then suddenly it was Theo’s mouth where his had been, and Theo’s hands holding yours to the bed.
It was enough to make you readjust in your seat just a bit. Even your fantasies of Theo made you red in the face. How pathetic.
But, Merlin, if it wasn’t so nice to picture…his hands running down—
“Mind if I sit here?”
You glanced up suddenly, using every bit of will power in your body not to choke and spew coffee everywhere.
If it wasn’t Theodore fucking Nott standing right before your eyes, you might have mistook him for an angel. Your eyes widened instinctually.
“E-er, yeah, Theo…take a seat,” you said with a forced smile.
You watched him like a hawk as he seemed to effortlessly slide against the table, taking his seat before the hundreds of breakfast items lined along the oaken surface.
If you didn’t know any better, you figured that he knew you were staring at him over your coffee mug, but he was ignoring it. He seemed to be considering his meal options, rather than focusing on you.
“So, how are you?” you asked, swallowing thickly. He glanced up as if he’d forgotten you were there.
“Oh, good…yeah, pretty good. How are you?”
You felt crazy. There was no way he’d just shown up like this while you’d been imagining him in the dirtiest scenarios—it couldn’t just be a coincidence. Maybe he was a Legilimens. Or one of his friends was. Shit, wasn’t Mattheo Riddle one?
You smiled nervously. “Uh, yeah, I’m good.”
“Good.” He selected a mug and poured some tea.
“Yeah…” You took a sip of your coffee.
“Listen, I wanted to talk to you about—”
A kiss was pressed to the outer point of your jawline. Slightly rough, cracked lips with a hint of stubble across the chin. Warm breath. The scent of leather polish and something earthy. Shit.
“Good morning, gorgeous,” he said against your ear, sending chills down your arms. Perhaps you had been wrong. Perhaps Cormac had been interested in more of a relationship with you, past the purely physical aspect.
You swore Theo’s eyes widened and his face fell. He seemed almost shocked or disappointed. Or maybe that was just wishful thinking.
“Hey,” you whispered back, a bit of a smile spreading across your lips at the familiar smell. Despite your lack of real feelings for him, Cormac did make you pretty happy, at least on a surface level.
“I’m gonna grab something to eat then head back to bed if you want to join me…,” he let his voice trail off in a joking tone as he slipped away. He headed towards the Gryffindor table, never looking back. You watched him as he walked for a few moments then turned back to Theo.
“So, McLaggen, huh?” he asked. His jaw was clenched tightly and his eyes were surveying your face. He seemed to be searching for something.
“Oh, we—er, I mean, not really,” you chuckled.
“What does that mean?” He didn’t laugh in return.
“We kind of just—”
“Whatever…it’s none of my business.” He cut you off. He took one large sip from his mug, draining its contents before turning to go. You hopped to your feet.
“Theo, I—” you started to call after him, but he was already gone. Fuck, was he mad?
You sat back down and wrapped your fingers back around your cup. Something in you deflated like it had been poked with a needle—maybe it was your heart…or your stomach. You weren’t sure.
Cormac fluttered about the Gryffindor table, talking here and there, and grabbing bits of food. Your eyes followed him, watching his every movement.
You could see the muscles rippling beneath his pajama tee shirt—a gray cotton number that fit him in all the right places; could see the honey curls that curled over his eyes; could see the way his eyes flicked over to you every so often. Damn, the way he looked at you was so good…
But Theo was something else entirely. If Cormac was fire, Theo was electricity.
Theo replaced everything—Cormac’s eyes, lips, fingers. It was as if every memory was being replaced by him and there was nothing you could do to control it.
Then, before you could blink, and realize what was happening, Theo was walking back through the door. And also making a bee line for Cormac. Shit.
You stood slowly, waiting to see if you should intervene—or to see if you were just imagining the whole Theo-interested-in-you situation.
A few moments passed where Theo said one thing, Cormac said another, Theo pointed at you, Cormac said another thing and then laughed. Whatever he said earned a few chuckles from his friends sitting around him.
There was a beat.
Then Theo punched Cormac as hard as he could.
You gasped and rose to run toward the group that had now begun to swarm around Theo. It seemed that whoever had been laughing with Cormac obviously supported him enough to try and attack Theo, because once you’d gotten over there, they’d already laid a couple punches to Theo.
Never mind he was up against three other guys, he was holding his own. Every time they successfully landed a punch, Theo would fire back with one of his own. And he’d fire back hard.
“Stop!” you shouted, attempting to force yourself between them. Without looking, Theo spared an arm for a moment long enough that he could keep you pushed back behind him.
“No, Theo! Cormac! That’s enough!” You struggled against Theo.
Finally, you’d wrestled enough that you slipped free from Theo’s guard and slipped past them. You pushed him back as hard as you could, and turned to face the other boys as quickly as you could so they wouldn’t force themselves past you.
“All of you stop it right now!” You shouted, panting heavily from the effort it took to push Theo away. “You come with me.”
You pulled Theo behind you by his hand and exited through the looming doors of the Great Hall, leaving Cormac and his goons in shock. In their defense, a lot had happened in about five minutes.
Once through the doors, you Disapparated quickly, never letting go of Theo’s hand. You landed in your dormitory.
A quick survey of the room and a mumbled locking spell later, the two of you were alone and Theo was bleeding.
You conjured a bit of gauze and ointment from somewhere in the hospital wing, promising you’d return it later.
Sitting Theo down gently on the edge of your bed, you began to gently apply a bit of the soaked gauze to the cut on his cheek and the blood seeping from his nose. He hissed ever so slightly at the stinging, but kept his eyes on you.
“Why did you hit him?” you asked, finally breaking the silence. His eyes moved away from you.
A few moments of silence passed. The minute you thought he might never say something, he spoke up.
“McLaggen’s not a good guy.”
You scoffed. “Really? That’s all you have to say? You hit Cormac because he’s ‘not a good guy?’ There’s billions of people who aren’t good people that I don’t go around decking every time I see them! Why did you really hit him, Theo?”
You stared him down, demanding an answer with every glance he cast your way.
“Because of what he said about you.”
You were taken aback. “W-what did he say?”
***
Theo walked out of the Great Hall, trying his best to swallow the rage that was building up in his throat. Of course you were with someone. You were absolutely perfect. It was false hope for him to have thought he’d ever had a chance with you. He threw his plans from his mind.
As he stormed through the stone halls, flashes of the way McLaggen had come up right behind you and touched you like he owned you, pissed him off so badly he was shaking.
The way his lips had touched your cheek, the way you’d smiled so softly, the way you’d looked at him afterwards. It was clear you pitied him, but he couldn’t find it in himself to be angry with you. It wasn’t your fault. If you wanted McLaggen, that was fine. He just needed…he just needed to make sure you were being treated right.
On a whim, he turned back around before he could stop himself, and marched back into the Great Hall.
If Theo couldn’t have you, he at least needed to ensure that whoever did have you was treating you right. You deserved it more than anyone did.
He spotted McLaggen leaned around a couple other guys, chattering and laughing. Honestly, just the sight of the jock pissed him off.
“Hey! McLaggen!” The dirty blonde boy glanced up, eyebrows quickly shifting from shocked to on his guard.
“Nott.” He nodded his head toward Theo. The boys gathered around him seemed to look up to, always prepared for some kind of conflict.
If they hadn’t known any better, Theo would have guessed they assumed this was a Quidditch issue. But it wasn’t.
“Can I talk to you alone?” Theo asked.
“What for? If this is about the Quidditch pitch this weekend, McGonagall already said—” McLaggen started.
“It’s not about that,” Theo interrupted him. He was right, Cormac did think this was a Quidditch issue. Why else would Theo want to interact with him?
“Oh, wait…this is about them, isn’t it?” McLaggen laughed, nodding his head in your direction. Theo’s jaw twitched at the thought of him talking about you.
“I just wanted to say that they’re really important to me, and I want you to take care of them.”
“What—are you their dad?” McLaggen snorted.
“No, man. But they’re a very close friend of mine and I want to ensure that you’re going to be good to them.” Theo pointed in your direction without thinking about it.
“Who are we talking about again?” Theo’s jaw clenched at his response.
“Man, come on. I’m not asking for a lot. I care about my friend.”
“Are you sure they’re just your friend? I could’ve sworn they screamed your name last night.”
The blood drained from Theo’s face as he heard McLaggen’s words. He was stunned for a moment.
“What did you say?” Theo muttered, barely able to form words.
“I said, ‘when I was fucking them last night, I think they said your name.’ It didn’t really matter anyways, because they were just a distraction for me. They’re not the prettiest thing, but good enough when they’re on their knees—”
Theo couldn’t handle it anymore. Without a second thought or a blink, Theo swung his fist at Cormac’s jaw as hard as he could. He didn’t know who this fucker thought he was, but he wasn’t going to talk about you like that.
Somewhere distantly, he thought he heard you shout his name, but he’d started something he couldn’t just walk away from.
***
“That’s what he said about you… I couldn’t just let him get away with that. Someone had to show him some consequences.”
From the beginning, you had insisted that whatever was happening between you and Cormac was purely situational, but somehow his words still hurt.
You were flashing between angry and sad and hurt and mortified—you didn’t know what to feel. Had you really screamed Theo’s name last night? The fact that you genuinely couldn’t say whether you did or not, made you scared.
What did Theo think? Was he disgusted?
“Theo, I think the asshole was just trying to ramp you up,” you chuckled nervously. “I didn’t…s-scream your name last night.” The last words were little more than a whisper. You averted your eyes, finding the stone floor quite interesting all of a sudden. You couldn’t believe you were having to say that.
“Can I ask you one thing?” Theo breathed. He seemed much closer to you now, then he had been before. His breaths mingled with yours slowly…melodically…
Your eyes flickered between him and the floor, only viewing him through split seconds where his darkened skin flashed against the sunlight outside. Fuck, he was beautiful.
How many times had you imagined tracing that olive skin?
“Er, yes, of course,” you said distantly. “You can ask me anything, Theo.”
“Have…you ever…”
His words came out thickened and slow, as if they were honey dripping from his lips. They poured wetly through his teeth, hot and searing. You could feel them cover your body, pouring delicately over your skin and covering your mind. The syllables that left his lips had your head spinning. You felt as if you might be sick.
“...had any feelings…”
His lips shuddered slightly between words, his eyes were looking directly into yours, the contact never wavering. You had plucked up the courage to stare up into those oceanic features, but just enough to get the gist of what he was asking. You couldn’t bear to look at him as you debated your answer.
“...for me…?”
Fuck.
Your eyelids fluttered closed. A deep sigh pushed from your nostrils as your lips pinched together. If you had known that sleeping with Cormac McClaggen would somehow set into motion the timeline that would out your long-lived crush on Theodore Nott, you’d never have said yes to the bastard. Besides, it wasn’t as if you weren’t thinking of Theo the whole time—so much so that you apparently had “screamed his name.” Merlin, this was the most embarrassing thing that ever happened to you.
“Theo, uh… I don’t know if this is a good—” you started.
“Please,” he shuddered, his gentle hands pressing softly to either cheek. He tilted your head upwards to force more eye contact. The physical touch had you reeling. You had never been so close to him before, except for in your mind. “If you have, I need to know. I will not force anything from you, but I need to know.”
Your eyes flickered back and forth nervously as you summoned any strength that was left floating around in your fleeting esteem. You wanted so badly to tell him. Tell him about all those dinners you’d left early because your mind was so clouded with thoughts of him, about all of the classes you’d been called on to answer a question you weren’t even aware was being asked because you were too busy sketching him in your books, about all of the nights your fingers had slipped beneath your silk covers to pleasure yourself from a mere thought of him.
A glimpse of him in your mind’s eye had been more than enough for years and years, but now—with your head cradled beneath his strong hands—you feared it’d never be enough again.
“Yes,” you choked out. The word came out small and harmless, as if you’d been holding your breath for too long before letting it out.
And before you were able to wrench your face from his grasp, he’d leaned down and pressed his lips to yours.
A muffled yelp of surprise slipped out between the two of you, but he swallowed the noise with a deep sigh. Despite never imagining this was how your confession of love would go, you couldn’t help but appreciate that it was happening now.
Everything in you urged you to pull away and demand he leave for assuming you wanted to be kissed. But the child harboring a deep love for the boy they’d spotted on the train all those years ago pushed you to curl your fingers into the soft, brown strands atop his head.
A slight moan, almost in that of relief, was pressed into your mouth. His hands released your face and wrapped around your waist, clutching tightly to your waistband. He pulled you closer to him, his chest bumping yours.
He wanted you, he wanted you, he wanted you, and he’d fucking gotten you. He reminded himself to punch Enzo and Mattheo in the gut when he got away from you. That was, if he ever pulled away from you. The feel of your lips on his was something out of a dream—one that his wildly imaginative mind could not have even mustered up.
And finally, after years of debating, a shitty one-night stand, and thousands of shower pep-talks, Theo had finally worked up the nerve to taste your lips. And you had finally worked up the nerve to swallow your pride and confess your love to Theo, rather than projecting it through other vectors.
And though the two of you would eventually pull apart, giggle quietly to one another, and announce your newfound infatuation for each other to all of your friends the following day, you still couldn’t shake the feeling that something was quite right. Everything had fallen into place except for one thing.
Theo, as you would soon come to learn, always knew when something was wrong—oftentimes even when you didn’t realize it yourself. He would come to prove this many times over the following years of your relationship, but none better than when he had managed to learn a spell just for you.
A spell that completely evaporated all of Cormac McClaggen’s clothes from his dormitory—and his body—whilst in the middle of Defense Against the Dark Arts.
“That’ll show the fucker,” Theo had whispered into your ear amongst the loud bickering and laughing.
you're so needy, baby
first actual post, be kind!
tags: mommy kink, sub! choso, smut, begging, afab reader but reader is nb coded, reader is mixed coded but there's nothing pertaining to race tho outwardly, begging, cockwarming, needy!choso, dom!reader, 18+
also i tried my best but there's going to be spelling error and shit, i'm only one person and im sorry. Also decided to end it early because I don’t think that it’s that good. But if you want me to actually finish it, shoot me an ask.
word count: ~1.7k
It started that you wanted to play your game, and Choso kept asking for attention. He kept standing by your side even though you just started your new quest in your game. It was going to take awhile. You kept looking up at him when you saw him shuffling side to side from the corner of your eyes.
"Cho," You voice soft, this was your first forreal day off that you didn't have to do errands or still go on missions. You wanted to play your game. It's been weeks. "What is it that you need, baby?"
Your boyfriend just silently pulled at your sleeve, giving you a pout.
"If you want something, you have to tell me, I can't read minds." You pause your game and full turn to face the poor curse.
"I just..." His voice so quiet and sounds? Whiny? "I really miss you, Mommy."
oh. Oh.
"You miss Mommy, baby?" You coo, your face splitting into a toothy grin. You watch him nod, his face flushing such a pretty shade of pink.
"We...we haven't done it in so long," His voice was most definitely whiny. He wasn't wrong, since you were sent on back to back missions, all you did when you got home was just...sleep. The only thing you two did for the past couple weeks was scattered blows and handies. You understood where he was coming from.
But you really wanted to play your game. You also happened to look down, and see that Choso was half hard in the joggers you bought him. A bright idea crossed your mind, making you giggle slightly. It was perfect.
"How about this," You purr, your hands reach out and caress his stomach through his shirt. You watch as his body tensed and breath hitched. It made you smile softly. He's such a needy boy.
"I'll warm your cock, baby. I'll sit on your cock, and you be good for Mommy, okay?" You watch as his face twist in lust and confusion.
"Let Mommy play their game for one hour, okay? If you don't move and be a good boy, Mommy will let you fuck their hole however you want to, sound okay, Cho?"
Choso's face brightened up, you watched as his cock gave an interested twitch in the joggers.
"So... I can fuck Mommy if I'm good?" His voice was too cute, it was so hopeful and happy.
You nod, your lips giving your boyfriend a small smile of encouragement. "But, you're not allowed to move in me for one full hour. If you're able to do that, then yes." You really wanted to clarify the last part. You still really wanted to play your game.
Choso nodded, his face bright pink in lust and his facial expression showed so much excitement. You get off your office chair and motion for him to sit in it. You watch as he clammers into the chair, his hands fidgeting in his lap. His pants was still on…now that just won’t do.
You decided to pull the chair out from the desk, his hands grabbing on to the arm rests of your chair as you move him back. You move the chair far enough that you can slot yourself between the desk and your boyfriend, with space to move. You bend down to gently tug at Choso’s pants, pulling softly at each pant leg to get your point across. He dutifully lifts up his hips and you pull his pants down. He wasn’t wearing any underwear.
“Oh you, slut. No underwear? You’re so needy, baby!” You laugh, not maliciously but out of surprise. Generally he always kept his underwear on even at home, it was a habit he picked up from living with Yuuji before coming to live with you. He’s so desperate. It was so cute.
Choso nodded, his flushed face deepening in color. “I missed you so much, Mommy.” Your heart fluttered, god he was so cute. You were wearing one of your boxers only, so you swiftly pulled them off and tossed them off to your bed which was next to your desk. You watched as your boyfriend’s cock jumped, his cock almost all the way hard just from taking off both of your bottoms.
“This only works if you’re fully hard, so I’m gonna suck on it okay? Don’t move, okay? Be a good boy.” He gulped, his blush went down his neck and to his chest.
You didn’t wait for a response, you carefully dropped to your knees so you don’t land on your boyfriend’s feet. You looked back up at his face, looking at his lust filled eyes as you carefully brought the tip of his cock to your lips. Choso gasped quietly as you began to go down on him, your brain storing all his beautiful sounds in your memory bank for later. You sucked as much as you could comfortably fit in your mouth, making sure not to swallow around his hard length. After all, it’s just to make sure he’s completely hard not to actually get him off. You pulled back and went down again, doing this action a handful more times. Each time you took a bit more of his length in your mouth than the last. By this point Choso began panting, his mouth was open and he was mewling pathetically at the attention that you were giving him. You watched as his face began to scrunch up, his eyebrows furrowing cutely as he whined softly and gripped the arms of your desk chair.
You decide to pull off, which caused Choso to whimper. “Mommy, you felt so good though!” Choso was adorable, his eyes had tears in the corners from the stimulation.
“I know baby, but I told you I just wanted to just get you hard so you can slide in my hole, remember?” You were teasing him, you hand coming to gently stroke the tip of his cock. You felt his cock twitch in your hand deliciously, making you smile up at him. “Only for an hour, okay?”
You stood up and pulled up your shirt a little, it was baggy and you didn’t want it to catch on his cock or anything else. You leaned down a little bit and kissed Choso, your lips only going for a peck then pulling away. It was adorable seeing the poor curse trying to follow your lips. You turned around and felt Choso’s hands grab at your back, massaging your rolls lovingly as you pulled the chair closer to the desk with one hand. It was nice, your boyfriend didn’t care what you looked like, he loved your fat stomach, all your stretch marks and cellulite. It made you so happy that Choso genuinely love you for you, and wasn’t an asshole or embarrassed by you being fat. It made your heart soft when you felt his right hand snake its way to your front and rubbed at your stretch mark covered apron belly. You loved him so much. Without much prompting, you reached between your legs and aimed Choso’s cock to your now sopping wet hole. You carefully sat down, sheathing his length inch by inch. It took you a couple moments since your boyfriend was so big, but you finally bottomed out and was fully seated in his lap. Behind you though, you hear Choso gasping and felt him grip at your stomach. You looked behind your shoulder and saw his face was completely blissed out but also tortured. Your boyfriend’s face was so flushed, and his lips were parted and had drool partially leaking out of the corner of his mouth.
“Oh fuck, baby you feel so good around me.” Choso gasped out, his eyebrows furrowing as he opened his eyes to look at yours. “Love your hole, Mommy! It makes my cock feel so good!”
You smile softly as you lean back to give him a kiss. You sloppily landed it on his nose, since that was as close as you could get, but nonetheless you turn back around. You shifted a little, getting a bit more comfortable on your boyfriend’s muscular thighs. The moment made both of you sigh, his shaft was hitting your insides Perfectly, and your hole was clenching around his shaft so good. It was then that you realized with a laugh that you were still too far away from the desk, Not too far away, but too much so that you couldn’t reach your keyboard well enough to actually play.
“Baby?” You ask, your head turning around to look at your boyfriend. “You can move me for a minute or two if you scoot the chair up closer to the desk.”
“Move you on my cock?” Choso sounded so excited.
“Yep! Only for a minute or two, then I’ll play my game. But I can’t play this far away from the keyboard.” You blink at Choso as he smiled at you as he did what you ask in a heartbeat. You felt yourself and him scoot across the hardwood floor in a smooth motion, his thighs clenching as he flexed his legs to propel forward. Choso propelled you two enough so you can reach your keyboard and pull it closer to you. He left enough room so your stomach wasn’t digging into the desk, he was so considerate. God you loved him.
“Okay, you can move for only two minutes then you’ll let me play, okay?” You grinned at Choso as you felt him grab at your hips and sides, and hefted you up. Since he was a half-curse, his strength was able to carry you with no problems. He swiftly brought you down, your ass smacking against his pelvis with a loud slap. You grab at your desk as he lifted you up and began a brutal pace. You were left moaning helplessly. Your body jolting with each time Choso meeting you halfway. You look at your desktop and see that two minutes has passed and you reach down and grab at Choso’s legs, making him come to a halt.
“Baby, that’s two minutes.” You grinned wolfishly.
Pillow Talks // OM! Brothers Aftercare hcs
Cw: none really, just fluff after a scene because aftercare is SO important, based on a convo i had with one of my bsfs (mentions of rough sex, bite marks and hickeys)
Gender neutral reader!
A/n: I'll work on the requests soon i swear!
- Lucifer -
Man is so so gentle with you after it (in contrast to just a few minutes earlier)
PRAISE !!!!
Would definitely clean the both of you up and give you one of his shirts to cuddle into
After making sure you're alright and doing well he would brew the both of you some tea
Asks you if you would like to listen to a specific record and if not, he'd just put on something calming
Definitely spends quite some time in bed with you, cuddling and talking about everything and nothing, only going back to his work when he's 100% sure you're mentally and physically alright
- Mammon -
Would not give a single fck about the mess the both of you made, you're immediately wrapped up in his strong arms
He'd definitely would shower you with innocent kisses all over
Naked cuddles!! I repeat, naked cuddles!!!
Would also make sure you have everything you need, not leaving your side for more than five seconds though
Cracked jokes about what just happened!!!
Would probably spend hours just lying in bed with you, the both of you just scrolling through Akuzon, voicing out your thoughts about certain items you stumble across (he takes mental note of everything you mention to be to you liking )
- Asmodeus -
Spa time!!! Bubble bath especially!!
Would totally rant about how beautiful you looked earlier
Cuddles in the bathtub, facemasks and candles
If you would be sore anywhere he would totally massage it
Washes your hair and body for you, he just wants you to relax
When he dries you off, he'll wrap you in the softest towels and carry you to bed after he sprayed you with his perfume just so you still smell like him
- Satan -
would definitely question if he was too rough on you
Totally kisses any marks or hickeys that he'd left and brush over them gently
Cleaning up kinda is teamwork, until you curl up next to him, scrolling through ur DDD a bit
A book in one hand, the other arm wrapped around you, keeping you close
Makes sure to wrap you up in a nice fuzzy blanket too, he doesn't want you to feel cold after all
You fall asleep before him, but he eventually gets tired too, the book is now on his face, you still cradled in his arm, your DDD dropped next to you
- Leviathan -
Asks you if you enjoyed it and if you felt good immediately
Admiring all the love marks hes left on you
Cleaning up and then he seats you in his lap in one of his hoodies
Also quite literally SHOWERS you in kisses, extremely flustered
It's your decision what you want to do, rather its just cuddling, watching anime or him playing a a game, or even playing something together
Man is clingy asf, he knows that the afterglow is a quite vulnerable state so he keeps you as close as possible
- Beelzebub -
No doubt, this man carries you to bed after he cleaned your up. Bridal style. No exeptions.
Tucks you in carefully and would feed you your favorite candy from the jar in his room
Keeps you in his arms until you are fast asleep, then quietly goes to clean up the kitchen
Would totally kiss the bite marks he left, probably even lick over them apologetically
He finishes that cake you had started only for you to wake up to an almost empty plate of it, and a very sorry Beel
- Belphegor -
It takes him a while before coming down from his high, so hes perhaps a bit quiet at first and just keeps his arms wrapped around you, processing in silence
Veeeeryyy sleepy afterwards, but also cold
Will probably get another fuzzy blanket after wiping the both of you down lazily
Naked cuddles part II
Gives a lot of small tired pecks and pulls the blanket over both of you
Hes not gonna let go of you this soon, but that's okay, the both of you will take a nap first anyway
Heya everyone, this is it for today (kinda short im sorry) these are actually my first hcs posted on here, enjoy!!!!
The Prince and the Dragon Rider - Part One: The Oath
Jacaerys Velaryon x dragon rider!reader
Summary: after three years of peaceful living on Dragonstone, Prince Jacaerys stumbles upon an answer to his growing anxieties of mastering dragonriding. But when this new companion is discovered prematurely, how will the Princess respond?
Warnings: mentions of blood loss and wounds
soundtrack
part two: tempest
part three: the dawn
part four: the test
part five: precipice
part six: pieces and players
part seven: the rift
You stand silently in the throne room of Dragonstone awaiting judgment while a storm rages outside the black stone walls. Two kingsguard are posted at the large doors opposite the throne. Their eyes fixed on your small, shivering frame. A flash of lightning followed closely by the crack of thunder causes you to jump and one of the kingsguard calls out to you from across the room.
“We said be still!”
You nod curtly and continue to stare out the windows at the rain. Tears begin to flow against your will as another bolt of lightning strikes nearby and you try your best to remain still.
This is not what I wanted. You think to yourself, reflecting upon the events that led you to be separated from your dragon and now, possibly, from your closest friend.
Jacaerys Valeryon had discovered you and your dragon living within the natural caverns beneath the fortress of Dragonstone nearly four moons. The two of you became quick friends, meeting in secret to train one another. He had witnessed your skills on dragonback firsthand when he and Vermax happened upon you and your dragon one morning before the sun had risen. Your deftness alone would have been enough to impress the young Prince but after watching the two of you dive into the sea to escape their curious pursuit, he knew he needed to seek you out. In exchange, he had offered you the chance to hone your skills in combat. Being common born, your abilities with a blade were much more crude than those of the knight trained prince. You relished the opportunity to learn how to properly defend yourself.
You are pulled from your thoughts by the sound of the ornate doors swinging open. A small procession of colorful lords file into the great hall surrounded by armored knights that begin to peel off in pairs to stand along the walls as they approach. The last two take positions on either side of you. Once the guards are in their places, a caller steps forth to announce the silver haired woman standing alone in the doorway.
“Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, first of her name, heir to the Iron Throne!”
The caller bellows throughout the room while the woman walks with purpose through the grand hall to take her place upon the throne. Once seated she meets your gaze. You cast your eyes down to the black stone below.
“This council has been brought together to address the matter of this child’s involvement in the endangerment and injury of my son, the Prince Jacaerys Velaryon,” her voice becomes shaky when she says his name but she does her best to gain her composure before addressing you directly, “What do you have to say in your defense?”
You hesitate for a moment, steadying yourself with a breath while trying to remember what you had intended to say. But when you look up to see tears welling up in the Princess’s eyes, only one thought fills your mind.
“Is Jace going to be alright?” You ask timidly.
“That does not answer the Princess’s question, child,” snaps a silver haired man standing below the throne. “We want to know how this happened.”
The Princess’s eyes remain fixed on you. She examines you carefully as you wipe the lingering tears from your face and begin recounting everything.
“The Prince and I have been training together for quite some time.” The Princess raises an eyebrow at this but you continue, “We flew out to practice on dragonback this morning when the wind rose up quickly around us. We couldn’t outrun the storm and when it consumed us, we were both thrown into the sea. The dragons were nowhere to be seen, whisked away by the tempest, so we began making our way to shore but-” you shutter and grow silent, remembering the deep wounds carved into your friend’s shoulder. “Jacaerys had been injured. I believe Vermax may have tried to take hold of him as he fell. He lost consciousness during the swim and I carried him the rest of the way.”
Once the words leave your mouth there is a beat of silence before you begin to sob, the horror fresh in your mind of Jace going limp in your arms. You can barely hear the low murmurs that flurry around the room until the Princess brings them all to a halt.
“How could you be training on dragonback? Were you both astride Vermax?” The Princess calls down to you from the throne, her tone shifting from sorrow to accusatory.
You freeze while the tears continue to pour. Jace had recently begun trying to convince you to reveal yourself to his mother. He was certain you would be offered a proper bed to sleep in but when the subject of revealing your dragon was brought into question, he was unsure of how the Princess and her second husband would respond to someone outside their blood to being bonded to a dragon. The discussion ended shortly after expressing this to you.
Now faced with this dilemma, without Jace’s guidance, you decide to remain honest. Still holding onto the glimmer of hope that you will find acceptance and refuge among this family.
“No, Your Grace, I was riding my own dragon.”
Amidst the uproar, the man with silver hair draws his sword and storms down the steps toward you.
“Who are you to have claimed one of our dragons? We should have your hands you thief!”
“Daemon, no!” The Princess shouts and the room falls silent once again.
The man stops his advance but his sword is still drawn in your direction.
“I am no thief,” you manage to say with a quivering voice. “My mother was an acolyte of the priests of R’hllor on the outskirts of Asshai. When I was six years of age, a lord came to our temple to enlist the help of the red priests in hatching a dragon egg.”
Another round of concerned whispers echo throughout the hall.
“I know not who the lord was or where he acquired the egg. It made no difference as during the ritual the temple caught fire, leaving myself and my dragon as the only survivors to emerge from the ashes. We had been traveling west across Essos together for nearly eight years until she finally led me to this island four moons ago.”
The man, who you now identify as Daemon, looks you up and down and begins speaking a language you cannot understand. When he meets your eyes and sees your confusion, he scoffs and turns to Princess Rhaenrya. They have a brief exchange in the foreign language before they are cut off by a frantic man in robes entering the room.
“The prince has awoken,” he exclaims, out of breath.
Rhaenyra immediately stands and makes haste to the door, followed closely by her guard. However, Daemon stays put in front of you.
“We shall reconvene at a later time,” the Princess calls over her shoulder as she exits the room. “See this child placed in a room under watch until-“
“Wait, no!” You cry out, interrupting the Princess. With the relief of knowing that Jacaerys is alive and conscious, the fear of your dragon’s safety fills the entirety of your being. “Please let me return home! I need to know if my dragon is safe.”
Her and Daemon make eye contact above your head.
“We cannot allow you to leave until a decision can be made,” she says plainly, a slight look of remorse flashes across her face, before she disappears out the door without a second glance.
The lords disperse around you. All except Daemon who still stands with his sword drawn.
“How do you command a dragon of you do not speak High Valyrian?”
“I don’t,” you reply, confusion evident in your voice, “I have been at her mercy since she grew large enough to ride. I have simply trusted her instincts.”
He chuckles lightly, “I wonder then, if you were to make a command of her, would she return that sentiment? Would she trust your instincts? Is she truly bonded to you? Or were you a convenient mean for survival?”
He sheaths his sword and walks away from you, taking a seat on the steps below the throne. The guards at your sides escort you out of the hall, leaving Daemon’s questions to rattle around in your mind.
- - - - -
Dragon-riding was an art that did not come naturally to Prince Jacaerys. He had been so relieved when his family left King’s Landing, as it meant he no longer would be sharing dragon keeper lessons with his spiteful uncles. This relief was short lived however, as once Vhagar had been claimed by Aemond, a frantic drive to master the sky filled his entire being. Once Vermax became large enough to ride, he trained often and obsessively, stealing the joy from what was previously a childhood dream of the young prince. Until he began training with you.
Although he initially approached your training with the same urgency, he soon found an unexpected solace riding alongside you. With you, it never felt like a burden or duty. It felt like freedom. It felt like peace. You had turned the sky into a safe haven.
Which is why the sight of you being thrown from your dragon in the middle of that storm was on an endless loop in his mind while he fell in and out of consciousness. Despite the pain of the maesters working on his wounds, he wouldn’t allow himself to be pulled into sleep until he knew you were safe. Thankfully, once their work was complete and the discomfort from their treatment had ended, he was able to fully recover his mind from that haunting vision.
He sat up slowly in his bed, head still spinning, to see the maesters cleaning up their instruments.
“What happened? How did I get here?” He mutters.
The maesters whip their heads towards the prince at the sound of his voice and the room buzzes back into action.
“Inform the Princess!” Grand Maester Gerardys commands to the room before taking place at Jace’s bedside. “Steady, my Prince, the wound is freshly stitched and you’ve lost much blood.” He attempts to help the boy back down but Jace protests.
“No,” he mumbles, using his good arm to weakly bat away the Grand Maesters hands. “Tell me what happened.”
Gerardys sighs. “You were found wounded on the beach with a stranger who refused to leave your side.”
The rest of the memory flashes through Jace’s head. The gust of wind and rain that ripped him from his dragon’s back, the pain of Vermax’s claws in his shoulder, finding you in the cold water, your arm around his body as he grew even colder.
“Where is y/n?” His eyes snap open.
“Taken before the council to face judgment for your endangerment.” The maester gives up the fight with his stubborn patient and returns to his supplies laid out on the table.
“But-” Jacaerys begins before being cut off by his mother.
“Jace!” She cries as she burst through the door and runs to his side, embracing him as gently as she can manage.
“Mother, where is y/n? They have done nothing wrong, they saved my life.” He takes a moment to catch his breath after the words tumble out of his mouth. Still struggling to keep his grip on the waking world.
Rhaenyra releases her son and she looks over him. Her face grows stern at the mention of your name, which she had neglected to ask for.
“And why was your life at risk in the first place? Who is this dragonrider that you’ve kept secret from me? And why trust a stranger to train you over Daemon or myself?”
Jacaerys turns away sheepishly, trying not to dive too deeply into the sliver of joy he had found in your presence. “Y/n is my friend, not a stranger. As well as a skilled dragonrider.”
“How could you know that Jace? How do we know this isn’t a trap set by our enemies?”
He considers this briefly. Trying to determine how he can convince his mother that you are not a threat to them. Wishing desperately to cite the countless occurrences of your trustworthiness and honor that he has already witnessed. But he knows that it is not just his mother that he is speaking to. He is also speaking to the future Queen of the Seven Kingdoms. And the Queen cannot afford to place that much faith in the feelings of a young man. So instead, he decides to respond like a future king.
“Why would our enemies want us to gain such a powerful advantage? Supplying our cause with a large dragon and a masterful rider does them no favors.” Prince Jacaerys states.
Rhaenyra is taken aback by Jace’s strategic thinking. She looks over his face and ponders his words while tracing the healed scar down her arm. A bitter reminder of her own betrayal by someone she once held dear.
“Do you trust this person with your safety? With the safety of your family?” Rhaenyra questions, her eyes momentarily welling up against her will.
Jacaerys meets her gaze and nods solemnly. The Princess grabs her son’s hand tenderly.
“If this to be our decision; to allow an outsider to inherit the power of our house…” she pauses, trying to find the right words. “Then this not an ally we can afford to lose. And we must ensure their loyalty to my claim to the throne, as well as your own.”
- - - - -
The room you are placed in offers little comfort while you wait for your fate to be decided. Housed high in the tower, it sways ever so slightly with the wind. Exhaustion from the events of today combined with the gentle motion of the room threaten to lull you to sleep but the distress at being away from your dragon for the first time in years keeps you from finding any rest. You sit on the hard floor with your back up against the wall, facing the door, counting the seconds between lightning strikes and rumbles of thunder.
A knock on the door startles you and you spring to your feet as a kingsguard steps through the doorway followed closely by Princess Rhaenyra. You notice her face appears less grim than it had been in the throne room. She examines you from head to toe then finds your eyes. They soften ever so slightly before she speaks.
“Jacaerys is resting and the maesters are confident he will make a full recovery.”
You breathe a sigh of relief and nod at the Princess’s words but the worry still lingers on your face. She continues.
“We have also received word that Vermax has returned to the dragonmont with a large black dragon in tow. Both weary but seemingly unharmed.”
You gasp as though this is the first real breath you’ve taken all day and place your hands over your eyes as tears flow freely down your face. Their intensity dies down, however, as you recall the Princess’s final words to you in front of her council. A new dread fills your stomach.
“And what is to be done with me?” You ask in as neutral a tone as you can manage, dropping your hands from your eyes but still staring intently at the stone below.
The Princess lets out a heavy sigh and takes a step closer to you.
“We would ask that you swear an oath of loyalty. Declare fealty to House Targaryen and to myself as heir to the Iron Throne. And for this you will be granted permission to serve our house as a dragonrider.”
You shake your head, trying to comprehend her words.
“And what would my service entail? What would be expected of me?”
“The same that I ask of every lord and lady sworn to me. As well as every member of my family that commands a dragon; that should this house become threatened, they will heed the call to arms and meet the enemy with fire and blood.” Her voice becomes foreboding as she recites the words of her house. Indicating to you that this is less of a choice you are being offered, and more a sentence that you are being served.
“Though I hope such a need will never come,” she adds, trying to lighten her tone.
Your thoughts turn to your dragon and the years you have spent protecting each other. You may not speak the same language but you know you trust her with every fiber of your being. And, although the gods may have left a foul taste in your mouth for prophecy and purpose, you do believe she chose you as her rider for a reason. If taking this oath is the only way you can continue to be allowed to live alongside your dragon, then so be it.
You raise your head, sparing a quick glance at the kingsguard, before your eyes meet with the Princess’s. “I am at your service, Princess.”
“We are glad to have it, y/n.” She says with sincerity. “The hour has grown late, let us see you to a more suitable chamber.” She turns and begins walking out the door, beckoning you to follow.
You fall into line behind her down the winding stairs.
“Once you are settled,” she calls over her shoulder, “if you are not spent, I can take you to the dragonmont.”
You nod fervently and small smile flashes across her face.
[dni minors, dni blogs that have no 18+ age listed in their bio] body worshipping astarion /// gender-neutral reader/tav
telling him that his pleasure gives you pleasure, that you enjoy making him feel good, that he doesn't ever have to do anything in return. and that's hard for him to believe, of course. but you can prove it.
you can have him laid back on the bed, stripped bare, as you kiss across his face, making him laugh if you kiss him on the tip of his nose,
"it is rather cute of you darling that you want to spoil me, but"
no buts. you tell him this is what he deserves. he deserves to be spoiled, to be held and treated as though he's something precious. because he is.
you're careful as you kiss down his neck, not knowing if the bite scar on his neck is too painful of a reminder, so you avoid it, sliding down his chest, thumbs pushing against his nipples, taking one in your mouth as he sighs, hardening against you,
"as nice as this is, there are rather more sensitive areas you could be attending too,"
you swat him gently on the thigh and tell him to be patient, though you know he isn't. that you're not trying to tease him, you're savouring him,
he'll get what he wants though, as you slink down and ask him to spread his legs, and when he slowly does you struggle to read his face, is he apprehensive? surely he can't be nervous...?
you kiss his inner thighs, daring to nibble, and when he gasps and moans you bite harder, leaving marks as you edge closer to his cock, already starting to leak, begging for attention, sliding you fingers down until they circle around the base, you look up at him as you take his cock into your mouth.
he's loud as you slide yourself up and down, he always is. he knows his voice is attractive, he knows it spurs you on, his noises, his praise,
"yes, darling, that's it, fuck, such a talented little mouth, so good for me,"
but this isn't about you, it's about him, and you want him rendered speechless, unable to use any honeyed words as he falls apart, and you'll be here holding onto him, making sure he doesn't fall too far, making sure he's put back together in the end.
he almost yelps, embarrassed at the undignified sound, as you slide your hands under his arse and pull him up, clawing at his skin, letting his cock hit the back of your throat, breathing through your nose as you gag, trying to look up at him, daring for him to see how much you'd do for him,
you pull your mouth off his cock to watch him squirm, his hips twitch, your blow cool air onto him and he whines, he whines and he seems embarrassed of it and he's beautiful,
you tell him that, and he knows, but there isn't the usual witty and vain retort, he whines again, panting, you tilt your head and smile and ask him if he wants to cum,
"of course i want to-"
he cuts himself of as you frown and start to pull your hands away. he knows what you want him to say.
"alright, i..." he catches his breath. "please."
please what?
he wants to scowl, but he wants your touch more, "please, i want to come, please."
he's back to moaning the second your mouth slides back down on his cock, whining again when you pull off, only to replace your mouth with your hand, sliding up and down his slick cock, as your mouth moves to his balls, fingers slipping against his arse, brushing between them accidentally, you think you aught to move them but the sound he makes, oh the sounds he makes,
barely thinking, just driven by the urge to have him come undone, you slip your hand under his leg and pull it up over your shoulder, gripping his thigh, mouth back on his cock as your other hand brushes against his hole again and you watch him shiver and claw at the bedding and you're emboldened and you rub your finger against his hole, never pressing inside, in time with how your head bobs up and down,
his words are gone now, he moans and gasps and you want him to let himself go, to thrust his hips up into your mouth, to relax into the bed, slide one of his hands onto your head if that's his urge, this is for him,
he tries to speak, "love, i-" and then he throws his head back, one of his hands flying to his face, you can't imagine him wanting to hide himself or his voice but then again has he ever let himself he this exposed before during sex?
you swallow around him as he comes, mouth still on him as he's oversensitive and twitching until you hear him sob,
and then you're letting his leg down gently off your shoulder, pulling yourself up to look at him, cupping his cheeks in your hands, him nodding to say he's alright, and then you're back to planting kisses over his face, telling him that he's safe, that he's beautiful, that you're honoured he trusts you with himself, stroking his hair as he comes down, falling onto your side and him clinging to you, his head against your chest as you kiss along his hair line,
"thank you," he breathes
of course
"you... well. i clearly underestimated you, again. i... i'm not sure i've ever come like that before. but before you sex was never much about my own pleasure. but that was... nice."
he coughs, composes himself,
"and well, if you ever wanted to do it again, or let me return the favour, though yes before you interrupt i understand you are trying to teach me that i don't have to repay you for anything with sex, but then i would also remind that i genuinely like having sex with you, having you at my mercy, moaning for me..."
you huff,
"yes. right. that is to say, i could be persuaded to let you have your wicked way with me again. it wasn't... unpleasant. i might have feared it could be, that being at someone else's mercy could bring about... memories or feelings. but it didn't. because it's with you. you make me feel... safe. i want to cherish that."
you kiss him again. and again. until you tell him you're not supposed to be waking yourselves up, and he pouts, but relents,
you'll clean yourselves up in a moment, for now, you enjoy him allowing himself to rest in your arms
Doohickey
|| Jinx x nonbinary!reader
|| Warnings; season two spoilers, Jinx hasn't slept and is overworking herself, comfort/fluff
|| Summary; when reader gets back to the shop, they notice Jinx had yet to move from her work. With Isha's help, they get her to sleep.
Requests closed!
Started; December 22nd
Finished; December 22nd
HurtCember2024; Day 18, Fatigue
~~~
Jinx never knew when to quit. Did she? Luckily, she had you and Isha for that. You and Isha shared a look with each other, having been watching Jinx since you walked into the workshop a moment ago. Isha simply shrugged when you raised your eyebrow and you sighed.
Since you'd last been here earlier that morning, Jinx was still in that same spot. Clearly she hadn't moved in the slightest. Well, other than to work on whatever it was she was making. You weren't entirely sure, she hadn't told you yet.
You walked over to your girlfriend, making your presence known by speaking first rather than touching. You'd learnt from that mistake when you first started dating Jinx," Jinx?"
She looked at you, a little confused at first but immediately brightening up when she saw you," heyyy!! There's my favourite person~" she jumped from her seat. Hips swaying, arms folded behind her while she walked to you. Then Jinx pounced. Arms suddenly around you. You laughed and hugged her back, holding her close.
Isha seemed almost offended at Jinx's words, Jinx noticed after a moment. Having an innocent look in her eyes," hey, you know what I mean. You're both my favourite! Favourite, favourite," she echoed the word, followed by a giggle. But even with all the energy she was showing, you could see past it.
The exhaustion that etched Jinx's eyes. To you, it looked like she hadn't slept in days. It wouldn't be the first, either. Jinx was clearly fighting fatigue. Forcing out more energy than she had. She'd been working a lot on whatever it was she was making and was forgetting about herself. Again.
"Jinx.. when was the last time you slept?" You asked, hand cupping her cheek. Her face fell at your words and she looked away. Jinx didn't want to lie to you. She never did.
"I... well, I- I joined you last night. I just didn't sleep and I didn't sleep the night before or the night before that, then there was that night I only got a couple hours before I was up working again-" Jinx rambled out. The more she went on the more worried you got. How hadn't you noticed? You always fell asleep pretty early in cuddle time. You just mustn't have noticed her getting up from bed after you were asleep. Jinx could be sneaky like that.
"Baby, come on. Take a break on your doohickey and come sleep," you pulled her over to the makeshift bed area. Isha following the two of you. She wanted cuddle time too, after all.
"Ha, doohickey," Jinx chuckled at your words but made little protest. She knew you were right. Sleep was trying to force her door down, anyway.
The three of you got cuddled up together, with you pulling the blankets over. You made sure to fall asleep last this time. Waiting until you were certain Jinx had knocked out. Isha you weren't too worried about, she slept pretty easily.
You slowly started to drift off to the sound of Jinx's snoring.

HEYA HELLO HI
first, i want to genuinely thank you guys for the account's existence and your hard work. reading through the posts is often the highlight of my bleak days, and im immensely grateful for you providing those moments of joy :]
SECOND UH ID LIKE TO ORDER A SPECIFIC KINDA HEADCANONS LIST IF NO ONE MINDS AND IT HASN'T BEEN WRITTEN ALREADY ALRIGHT YEAH
a nonbinary reader who is pretty similar to Seb's stubborn, independent and sassy persona but WOMP WOMP, they're suddenly head over heels for him. NEITHER WANTS TO ACKNOWLEDGE THE FEELINGS (aka "HE'S FUCKING MARRIED, IT'S NOT MUTUAL AND IM BUSY WITH NOT DYING, BUT I CANT GET HIM OUT OF MY HEAD" & "I HAVE A WIFE AND THEY'RE JUST SOME EXPENDABLE BASTARD, GET OVER IT, SOLACE"). the distracting, unnecessary, painful pining. how do both cope and who's gonna break first? and most importantly, is either gonna throw their ego and rationality out the window to confess despite the fear of looking pathetic?
oooof i hope it's not too much and it's not breaking any rules. thank you in advance if you find it interesting enough for writing! :D
Awww, thanks so much! Although I should make it very clear the wife in question will remain vague and is NOT BASED ON ANYONE! Thanks for the request ❤️
♡Married! Sebastian Solace x NB! Similar! Reader Headcannons♡
Warnings: Sebastian is Married and Y/N is technically an Affair Partner
He had found you interesting from the moment you opened your mouth and got sassy with him, mostly because most people don't have the balls to do it
Despite finding this slightly irritating, he also found it refreshing, so he didn't immediately shoot you if only for his own entertainment
A terrible mistake he'd soon find out
He developed some definitely unhealthy feelings the first time one of your comebacks had an almost flirtatious undertone
It was an accident on your part, but it got him thinking
He was a married man fawning quietly over you, how awful is that?
I mean of course he’s flashed the wedding band, and of course he's mentioned his wife when others flirt with him, but that doesn't change his feelings
If you flirted with him, would he really reject you?
Could he?
He hadn't known the touch of his wife in years, the softness of her hands, the warmth of her kisses
After everything that's happened he couldn't even remember her name. He should be able to remember his wifes name right?
Does he really even care about her? Does he love her now? Did he love her then?
It comes with an odd sense of guilt he doesn't like to look at. Especially when you do something that makes his heart flutter.
You, on the other hand, probably didn't develop any real feelings until he actually saved your ass.
You'd been running for your life and he’d snatched you up and into the vents, tossing you easily into his shop and shutting it behind you
His gaze transfixed on said vent, a hand on his gun. Something about him choosing to save your life while also putting up with your attitude was a little attractive…
Okay, insanely attractive
Sure, Sebastian’s guilt for being attracted to you is bad, but so is yours
You’re attracted to a married man who has absolutely gushed about his wife in front of you before. Even if it was only because someone tried to get a little flirty, what does that matter?
Honestly the mutual attraction makes it hard for you both to focus
Everything about that man is intoxicating, his smile, his laugh, his attitude. Can you really be judged for this?
Neither of you can focus on anything but each other whenever you’re both in a room.
It’s led to Sebastian getting surprised whenever another person buys something off him because he had no idea anyone else was in here
Its also led to you freaking out whenever one of the other expendable touches your shoulder without you having realized anyone was standing behind you
You hide it well…at least you hope you do?
The longing glances and quiet staring on both sides is unbearable though
Especially considering you’re both making those dolly eyes at each other, batting lashes and daydreaming
It’s cute but it’s also incredibly wrong of you two and you’re painfully aware of it
No amount of sharing food and acting like it’s not a date will make it less of a date
He’s already long since decided that he’s going to offer you come with him so you both can leave together
And though neither of you will have the heart to confess for quite a while, I think he’d do it on your way out. Something about you almost dying when you both escape makes him desperate to tell you how he really feels
When that ‘I think I’m in love with you’ slips out while he’s bandaging your arm that’s been cut by glass, how can you refuse?
Especially when you’re in love with him too?
He’ll toss that ring into the ocean once you reach the surface, his wife never loved him like you did anyway

he’s my girl — golden retriever! theo nott x genderfluid! reader
requested by 🦕!
it’s 2am let me be delulu and imagine theo as a golden retriever white boy k tysm
very short and very unedited bc i’m very sleepy xx
•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
“Who in Merlin’s name are you?”
You frowned, your fingers pausing halfway through their task of buckling your bookbag. “What’s your deal, babe?”
Theo blinked. “…Y/n?”
“In the flesh,” you said dryly, turning back around to your Transfiguration class’ desk and gathering up the last of your things.
Theo just stared.
“Y/n?”
“What, Theodore?”
He blinked again. “Why are you— why are you wearing a skirt?”
“Because it’s part of the uniform, Theodore.”
The poor boy looked so confused, his mouth opening and closing wordlessly. “I— uh— okay. You look pretty.”
“Thank you, darling.”
~~~
“Are you still my boyfriend?”
You stiffened as he approached your table in the library and sat down across from you, immediately jumping on the defensive. “Are you already breaking up with me? We’ve barely been together two days, Nott.”
“What? No! No— just—” Theo floundered, desperately trying to not come off as a grade-A douchebag. “Uh— just— are you my boyfriend? Or my girlfriend?”
You paused. “What, like— right now?”
“Yeah.” He shrugged awkwardly.
“Girlfriend.”
“Okay. Do you wanna go get lunch now?”
~~~
“…and my girlfriend, Y/n—”
“Boyfriend.”
“Wh— uh. Yeah. Uh. Boyfriend. Right. Anyways. So. My boyfriend, Y/n—”
~~~
You shifted uncomfortably in your seat. You were stuck in detention with Theo, writing lines, when you’d been struck by sudden and aggressive gender dysphoria.
You normally would’ve just Transfigured your uniform skirt into a pair of trousers, but McGonagall had confiscated your wand before you started your detention.
After a solid minute, Theo couldn’t help but notice your continued squirming. “What’s wrong, darling?”
“Dysphoria,” you grumbled, wiping your lip gloss-covered lips on the back of your hand to remove the faint glittery substance.
Despite your patient attempt earlier in the day to explain the concept of gender fluidity to him, Theo still didn’t quite grasp it. But he was doing his best.
“Ah. Is it—” He hesitated. “Is it the…skirt?”
“Yeah,” you muttered. “But I don’t have my wand to Transfigure it.”
Theo pondered on how to help you. Surely there was something he could do, right?
~~~
A wolf whistle pierced through the air.
“Lookin’ good, Nott!”
Theo did a little twirl as his friends all cheered and clapped, baffled by the sight of their friend showing up to dinner in the Great Hall, fresh out of detention, in a skirt.
You followed into the Great Hall after him, a small smile on your face, wearing his uniform trousers on your body.

March x sad Reader
Description: March tries his best to comfort you after you have a particularly busy day and end up exhausted
Warnings: not proof read, hinting at depression(reader), slight angst, swearing,
this is purely self indulgent- but then again, almost all of my writing is-
You had been so busy today, exceedingly more so than usual. First of all, it was raining, which you didn't mind because it meant your crops were already watered - but things only got more hectic and busy from there on on out..
You collected, put away, sold, and replanted your crops, then went to go fishing for a salmon for Jo's Request that you had accepted about a month ago.. Only to realise about an hour an a half in that it was currently Summer. Now with much less of your energy, you went to the general store to buy some more seeds and a few fruit trees, which left you with a total of 5 Tesserae as a result.
After going back to your farm and planting the saplings and seeds, you realised that it was only two more days until the end of the season. And so, you went back to fishing to try and catch the rest of the Summer fish you need for the Museum. Admittedly, most of that time was spent walking to and from the ponds to the beach, as that's where the rest of the fish you needed were found.
Once it hit 5:30, you realised that it wasn't just the third to last day of the season.. It was also a Friday. Sighing and slumping your head back, you defeatedly headed home to get ready for your weekly visit to the Inn. Hauling the bag full fish with you on your back, you got back to your farm and placed the not so important ones in your shipping bin, only to realise that you needed one more pond fish to finish that collection.... And it only showed up in the rain..
You were tired. It wasn't that you didn't enjoy your new life in Mistria; helping out the town and it's people. Or that today was bad; you had many content and joy filled moments between it all. But you were tired. So, so, tired..
Right now, nothing was more appealing than curling up in your bed, and crying.
So that's what you did. You put away your items, got showered and dressed into your pyjamas, and you laid down in your bed and cried out the remainder of what little was left of your energy.
You didn't even end up falling asleep afterwards like you usually did when crying in your bed.. Which upset you much more than you realised it would.
I mean.. Why get up just to do it all again tomorrow? The next day would likely end up being longer than today as well.. Not that today wasn't enjoyable- But it wasn't as enjoyable as others... People need you around town though, they always tell you that- You're not that important - the townsfolk don't rely on you to live....
You curled up in on yourself more, lying on your side as the tears began to flow down your cheeks again. It felt hopeless. Everything felt like it wasn't worth it anymore. And you continued to cry in your home until a knock sounded on your door.
At first, you thought you had misheard and simply sighed out a sob. But after a much firmer knock, you realised that it wasn't just you hearing things. Tiredly getting up, you assumed it was Adaline or Eiland, popping by to inform you about a new job that needed to be done around town. Or maybe Celine or Hayden needing some sugar or something?
Either way, you knew all four options were kind enough to excuse your tired, red eyes and pyjama clad form, so you didn't bother trying to make yourself the slightest bit presentable before opening the door. Which was a big mistake on your part, because March was the one that stood in your doorframe, looking down at you with a frown you could barley see through your slightly blurred vision.
"Why are you here?" March said suddenly, looking too the side as you rubbed at your eyes to try and clear them up. "Uhm- I live here?" You responded, no energy left to think up or question his presence on your farm.
After a huff and an exaggerated eyeroll, March rephrased went on to rephrase his question. "No- Why aren't you-" But he cut his words short when he watched your head bob forward like a sleepy child. "What, did you get tired from playing in the dirt all day? I can't believe you-" "Fuck you." You said back, one last tear rolling down your cheek as whatever energy you had that was keeping you standing left you.
In that same instant, you felt a falling sensation as your vision went black. You were tired.
Every so often you'd end up seeing glimpses of your home, but it was somehow moving? Your doorframe.. Black.. Your ceiling... Black... Your ceiling light.... Black.... More ceiling..... Black.....
Every time you saw black, you felt relieved and slightly less tired, especially compared to when you could see your home. And then, a warm sensation surrounded you, like you were being wrapped in a big hug that left you yearning for more.
When you reopened your eyes, you found yourself tucked into bed. The blankets were up to your ears as you laid on your side, about to roll over when you finally noticed the red head of hair resting on top of the blankets in front of you. Humming out, with a slight groaned mumbled, you went to speak up but were promptly cut off.
"Shup up and go back to sleep." March said, lifting his head from its resting position to look at you with stern, yet soft eyes. Feeling your tiredness envelope you, you closed your eyes but felt the cogs in your brain ticking. Why was March here? What was he doing? And why were you in your bed- You suddenly remembered falling into March in your doorway, and him carrying you to your bed before tucking you in.
You felt bad for cursing at him now, but you were also much more confused about why he was even at your farm in the first place. "March-" You started, only for said male to cut you off. "Shoosh. I said, 'go back to sleep'." He retorted, and if your eyes weren't still closed, you had a feeling that he'd glare at you again.
You didn't end up going back to sleep, but you did have a very calm conversation with March as you continued to rest with your eyes closed.
"I'm sorry." March said, being the first to speak after he told you to sleep for the second time. "Why-" "Shut up, you're supposed to be asleep." March said, cutting you off as moment of silence followed before he ended up answering your question. "I know I can be.. A rude asshole - a lot of the time.." March admitted as you felt him start to play with the top of the blanket slightly.
You didn't dare make a single sound as he continued to talk, telling you about how everyone at the Inn was starting to wonder where you were, and how Reina came to the conclusion that you might be over worked.. "-Then Olric offered to check up on you and-" March paused before continuing, having now moved his arm back down from the hem of the blanket as he ceased his delicate fiddling. "And.. And I told him I'd go instead."
The fact you were now frowning didn't go unnoticed by March, who must've been watching you to make sure you didn't open your eyes again. "I know, I know.. I don't why either.... You just-.... You made everyone worried.." March said, trailing off as he went silent again.
After feeling the blankets shift slightly beside you, you peaked your eye open to see March was doing, only to get told off again after seeing March's head resting on his arm directly in front of you. "Sleep." He said, but you had already closed your eye when you saw his eyes intently watching yours.
Your face ran hot with heat from the proximity, which was apparently very visible to March. "Fuck- Please don't tell me you have a damn fever.." He grumbled out, using the back of his free hand to touch your forehead as he continued to complain. "If you went diving and didn't fucking keep warm I'm taking you to Valen." March half threatened, prompting you to frown as he retracted his hand from your forehead.
"Your shipping bin smells like fish." He clarified before you felt him move against the blankets again. This time you felt weight remove itself from beside you, which had you shooting your eyes open with a desperation for company. March looked at you blankly from where he still sat on the floor beside your bed, leaning back on his arms as you watched him open his mouth to tell you off again.
"I'm sleeping..!" You said quickly, hearing a huff emit from the red head in front of your once more closed eyes.
"So.." March started after seconds more of silence. "Why weren't you at the Inn?" He asked, making an exhausted sigh leave you before you spoke. "Tired." You said, waiting for a moment before elaborating on your day. "Tended to crops.. Fed animals... Fished for a stupid non-existent Summer salmon.... Spent all my money on crops.... Planted them.... Went fishing again, but for the Museum.... Died inside.... No energy.... Cried in bed.." You said, starting to tear up again when March spoke up.
"I know it goes against what I always say to you.. But you do a lot around here- Too fucking much to be honest.. And I-" March paused for the umpteenth time that night as you pried your eyes open and looked at him.
He was sitting in the exact same position as when you last opened your eyes, only now he had his head turned from you. Yet, his eyes keep their sights on you, and this time he didn't have the heart to tell you off. March ended up breaking contact with your eyes, his face reddening slightly as he spoke.
"You're enough- More than enough.. You're honestly too much but- Sigh...." March quickly darted his eyes to, and away from you before he continued. "You're a lot. You're so much.. You mean so much- To literally everyone." He said, making another, single tear fall down your face. But this time you had just enough energy.
"Thank you.. March." You managed out, smiling as a few more tears fell down and onto the pillow beneath you.
March wasn't sure what had you crying this time, unsure on whether he did good or bad with his words. But he was by your side once more the moment he watched those tears form into droplets in the corners of your eyes. With a sigh of relief, March relaxed after seeing the slight smile on your face, only to watch it fall the next second as a soft snore left you.
Finally.. You were asleep.

Frostbite °• : 。 - Chapter III
Skinwalker/Wendigo x reader
CW: Gross things like rotting :P
SMUT!! Rough sex, voyerism, non-consentual at the end(?)
I couldn't sleep last night. The screaming kept me awake.
Screaming? It sounded animalistic, the broken voice desperately wheezing and calling for attention. I laid there helplessly, clutching my pillow and worrying about wether I locked my doors or not. I was too scared to check them, so I just kept staring at the curtains, my heart almost popping out of its place as I tried to look away from them.
I couldn't, and at about 5-6 am, when the screaming had stopped, I dozed off. I later woke up at 4 pm, and weirdly enough, I was inspired to write some more. I put my nightly terror into descriptive paragraphs and created a monster.
One with long, grey, skinny limbs and hair thin enough to see it's pure white eyes... Rotten teeth caging the slithering maggots in its hollow mouth.
I take a deep breath and close my laptop. I grab my phone and see that Nathan had texted me last night.
"Do you drink?"
I can't help but smile and instantly start typing.
"after whatever the hell happened last night, I do."
I put my phone away and make myself a quick meal. My phone buzzes.
"And what happned?"
I chuckle at his misspelling.
"I heard someone or something screaming. I couldn't sleep all night :("
He answers quickly;
"Jackals?"
And I answer just as fast.
"Kind of... It had an artificial echo to it? Don't know how to explain."
I purse my lips and put my phone down. Taking a bite out of the poor excuse of a meal.
"You could demonstrate, when I take you to a bar in the town."
Smile grows on my face as I reread his messages. I should go, what's the worst that can happen? So, we text each other the details and it's a date!
I leave the cabin and decide to look around the village this time. Ain't no way I'm going into the forest after last night.
I try my best to remember the way home as I walk past the other cabins. I admire the architecture - simple, but charming nonetheless. Then I spot a girl, no older than nine looking at me through the window. I smile and give her a wave.
She stays still and keeps staring at me. My hand falls back to my side, and so does my smile. I avoid her gaze and keep walking. I take a few pictures and maybe make a few angels in the snow, before I see an old woman, just barely walking. I approach her. - "Hello, want me to walk you home?"
I get a better look at her face. It's wrinkled, as if her skin is melting off her face. Her eyes are marble like, despite being as dark as coals. I can barely make out her lips that stretch into an uncanny line. Her hair as thin as the monster's that I made up.
She looks at me before her face scrunches up, even more, into a scowl. - "...What are you doing here?" - My mood falters.
"...I used to come here as a child... My mother passed and I decided to visit for a while." - I explain myself. She raises an eyebrow and grabs my arm for support.
"(Your mother)'s kid. You've... Changed, quite a bit."
I tilt my head. - "Do I know you?"
"You'd always steal from my brother's cherry trees. You used to be an annoying, little rascal."
I chuckle awkwardly. - "I get that a lot. So you live down the road?"
"You've become... A very appetizing person." - She says, avoiding my question. I try not to think about her weird wording.
"...Thank you?" - I say after a long pause.
"I used to be like you. Maybe my skin was healthier." - She scoffs, bits of her saliva falling out of her mouth. - "...Not fair... At all." - she sighs.
I stay quiet as she rambles, a little more comfortable now that we've approached her cabin.
"But whatever it wants, it gets." - She says. She tightens her grip. - "Count yourself lucky, being able to serve it like that."
After that I head straight to my cabin. I can't wait to drink with Nathan tonight.
Now as I stand in the snow, my ass literally freezing off, I start to feel disappointed. He promised he'd pick me up, but now I'm getting worried he got lost and mauled.
Tiny snowflakes start falling, adding onto the already layered snow that's coating the ground. I sigh and check my phone again. My frown intensifies, when I see there's no new messages.
I almost fall off the bench on the porch when I see a figure in the corner of my eye.
"Jesus, Nathan. Do you always have to scare me like that?" - I rest my palm on my chest, dramatically so.
He flashes me the Cheshire grin - "Sorry."
I get off the porch and shove my hands into my pocket, a wave of disappointment washing over me when the pockets are just as cold.
"I thought the huge deer got to you." - I tease.
He narrows his eyes. - "I'm at the top of the food chain, you don't have to worry about stuff like that." - He brags and gives me his hand. I take it with a snort, his hands as cold as mine. - "I don't think we can make it to the Bar, it's too far away. And, it's getting dark."
I pout. He chuckles. - "But I know how to make it up to you~" - He says and takes out a flask from his coat.
I raise an eyebrow. - "Charming."
I then walk back to the front door of the cabin and unlock it, going inside. - "Come on in, I'm freezing." - I complain and look at him.
He follows after me with a smile and looks around. - "It's pretty cozy in here."
I chuckle and sit him down onto the couch. - "I think we have some old wine in the attic. Try not to miss me too much."
"Don't worry, I'm patient." - he smiles softly.
I turn on the flashlight on my phone after a hard struggle against the attic door, coughing my lungs out when the dust flies around in the air. I climb up and start looking around the boxes for the wine.
I smile when I finally find it. There's two blood red bottles with no distinct label on them, so I pick them up. My smile falls as I see a... Doll? It's made out of straws, clearly resembling a human body. I pick it up and inspect further. Is this a hex? I put it back down and get up, chills running down my spine when I notice a big red symbol on the wall. I stare at it for a while before turning around and leaving with the bottles in my hands.
I have a guest right now, I'll deal with it later.
On my way, I grab go into the kitchen to get glasses.
"I only have mugs and teacups, no fancy glasses." - I say before grabbing the cups and sitting next to him. He throws his arm around my shoulder.
"I don't look like the fancy type though, do I?" - He chuckles and I shrug.
I pour us some wine and sip from my cup. - "So, why did you move here again?"
"Nature always called out to me." - He shrugs. - "And you, Y/N? What's your job and why did you come here?"
I purce my lips. - "Well, I'm a writer. I've written some stuff but nothing special, really. I wanted to write a horror book and came here to set the mood, ya know?"
"And how's that working out?" - He tilts his head.
I sigh. - "I'm having the worst writer's block I've ever had. Barely wrote a few pages."
"Let's see then." - He says, and I hesitantly agree. I grab my laptop and open the file, handing it to him.
I stand up and approach the fireplace, tending to it as he reads for a while.
"It's great." - He smiles and I look back at him.
"Is it?"
"A little complaint... You're trying too hard to explain all the details. Reading is all about letting people warp characters and places into whatever their mind makes up."
"...That makes a lot of sense, actually." - I sit back next to him. - "Can you help me?"
He eyes me and nods.
I don't know how much time passes, but we're now sitting on the floor and already have finished the second bottle of wine, now taking turns on taking a swing out of Nathan's flask. I've been taking notes, typing away furiously.
As I let out a deep breath, I look up from my laptop screen and the whole room starts spinning. I grunt and put the gadget away, placing my head in Nathan's lap. He chuckles and strokes my hair. - "Are you alright?"
"...A little tired. And dizzy." - I pout. Nathan just keeps smiling and sits me up again, making me look at him by taking my chin in-between his fingers.
I keep looking into his eyes and his smile never falters, only getting closer to my own lips. I instinctively close my eyes and part my lips a little, almost melting into Nathan's arms when they connect with his.
My heated cheeks heat up even more when he lays me down onto the soft, warm carpet and lets out a deep groan.
Then I can't even comprehend what happened, when I look to my side and see both mine and his clothes on the floor. Then I feel his erected cock, rubbing against me and realize I'm not wearing any underwear neither. I look back at him and pull him into a kiss again, moaning in delight. He then pushes it inside of me, spreading the walls to make more room for himself and and starts gently grinding it deeper out of me.
I lose track of time and what's happening again, and this time feel him mercilessly thrusting his hips against my ass, almost steaming air of heat spreading into the whole room while his rough fingers caress all the right spots. I let out moans and whimpers in-between my breaths, while he muffles his in my collarbone.
"Don't stop... Fuck, Nathan..." - I moan out his name and he looks up at me.
He then runs his fingers through my hair pulls my head back, giving me a view of the rest of the room, before he buries his face into my neck and leaves a trail of sloppy kisses.
I get closer to cumming, feeling myself spasm and squeeze around him, before I notice something in the windows. There are people outside my cabin... They're chanting something while drawing a symbol on the windows...
It's the same symbol as the one in my attic. I huff and try to stop Nathan but he can't even see my expression with his head buried into my neck. I shut my eyes and try my best not to cry... And soon enough, pass out.
