People freaking out when I say I’m nonbinary is so funny. “You’re gonna destroy your body with hormones?! The harm will be irreversible!” Fools. I don’t need HRT to be affirmed. My gender affirming care is dressing like a Y2K femboy. My gender affirming care is swapping my voice between masc and femme every two minutes to cause problems at the family function. My gender affirming care is watching transphobes trip over themselves to try to misgender me but accidentally affirming me in the process. My gender affirming care is pure chaos.

Meet the Artist: @aubryjoi

Hi folks! My name’s Aubry (they/them), and I’m a trans non-binary illustrator specializing in animal artwork! My favorite mediums to work in are Posca paint pens & Procreate on the iPad. I love creating cute & colorful characters, and especially queer-themed artwork! My goal with my art is to bring smiles to folks’ faces & brighten their days. This year, I’ve introduced a new character, Egg the Trans Raccoon, into my work, and I’ve been building feelings of trans joy & community through them. I’m also a huge fan of making enamel pins and other trinkets of my designs!

i am forced to go to church by my mother, and the pastor today and complained about how the lgbt community “always wants more” (because being able to get married is all we need!! who cares about hate crimes!!) it hurt as a queer person in the crowd, knowing certain people will never get us as a community.

but.

one of my coworkers is old enough to be my mom and talked about her non binary child and her trans son. she gendered them both correctly without slip ups and it gives me hope for other queer kids.

it almost made me cry, hearing a mother love her children, not despite their queerness. i felt so safe i told her about how it was when i came out to my mother, and she said i could come to her whenever.

it was healing to see and hear her talk about her kids, not ignoring their identies, but also being able to talk about them as people. she told me the bands they both liked, and the concerts they went to.

queerness is to be celebrated, and i guess i just needed the reminder.

This should go without saying but this blog is welcoming towards trans/non-binary mspec lesbians. It is fucking Simple as that.

I see so many transmasc and transfem headcannons in fandom spaces, but basically no transneutral ones. Please reblog this with any transneutral (or any trans headcannons that aren't transmasc or transfem) you have about any character from any peice of media.

I'll start with a few of my own.

The younger Pines twins (Gravity Falls): both grow up to be very different flavors of nonbinary. Seeing as they're 24 now, Mabel dresses even more flamboyantly, uses any pronouns, and is largely unlabeled. Dipper is somewhat medically transitioned but dresses like they always did, their legal name is now Dipper.

Taylor (Worm): don't have much to say about this one. Feels like the type of agender person who thinks nobody strongly identifies with womanhood or manhood and then suddenly comes to a realization. Probably would switch to they/them pronouns but not change their presentation much, but also would likely became much happier after figuring out their identity.

Hange (attack on titan): more of demicannon then headcannon since it's how the creator envisioned them. Shout-out to them though.

Please reblog with headcannons of your own, I'll be really sad if I find out I'm the only one who has enby headcannons for anyone.
