Happy 115th birthday to #originalantifa Thomas Page! Born in New York in 1909, Page fought with the Abraham Lincoln Brigade against the fascists during the Spanish Civil War from 1937 until he was wounded about a year later, then fought against the fascists again in WWII. Page was interviewed about his experiences years later in the documentary The Good Fight.

Definitely one of, if not the worst item in my wardrobe - a pleather 'biker' jack from Reserved, bought back when I didn't care much for the ideology, or anything, really. Because of that, this one lacks a story, I simply wanted one of those popular leathers painted all over, and even that last part didn't come out well. The lines are jagged, paint - chipping, and I rarely ever wear it anymore. Guess that's what one gets for being a dumb bitch.

Happy 113th birthday to #originalantifa#originalantifa Thomas Page! Thomas Page was born in New York City in 1910. After high school, he worked as a bootlegger and model during the Great Depression. He later became an organizer with the Unemployed Councils and joined the CPUSA. He arrived in Spain on April 8, 1937. He served with the Abraham Lincoln Brigade until he was wounded in action. Thomas (center in the second image) returned to the US on December 20, 1938. He served in the US Army during WWII. After the war, he took up photography and camera repair while working for the Bell Telephone Company. He was interviewed and featured in the documentary, The Good Fight.
