I was really glad to see this expressed in Excalibur, and not just because I decided long ago that I don't want kids either. Marvel has some atrocious incidents of normativity in its history (Carol Danvers' r*pe baby she didn't want being treated as a celebration by everyone except her springs to mind.) Rogue expressing the lack of desire for children, while basic, is still a step towards breaking those expectations of people, especially people with wombs.

For religion to limit us to just making babies is beyond insulting. There is so much more to us then just to please men and have kids. I'm so incredibly fed up with the lies that we have thought we have to believe. We don't have to have kids, get married, or follow your God to have a beautiful and meaningful life!
