Isn't it weird that Rhysand claims to wear a "mask", but we don't know when it started? He's been attending inter-territory meetings since he was a prince (he met Tamlin at one of those meetings), and it's not like he just showed up at one of those meetings all gloomy and yelling "haha fear me, you scum, I'm the bad guy now huahuahua 😈😈”.
Tamlin was young at the war, a kid, I think, and Rhysand was about 38 and fought, I think he was at at least one or two meetings before that (war preparation meetings, mostly). So when exactly did he start wearing this mask to protect the cute little city? He didn't grow up in it, he grew up in the Illyria, he went there when he was 8. How could he love a city he didn't even live in?
He also didn't have much contact with his father, in ACOSF in Cassian's pov we read that Rhysand's mother made RARE visits to her husband, and they were partners. Rhysand didn't see his father until the war approached, when he went to the camp and saw his son almost surpass him in power. Rhysand was raised in a camp full of Illyrians, where the author wants me to believe that before they were much worse than they are now (I don't think anything has changed, no matter what Feyre believes that Rhysand has changed). So, hey, is it really a mask?
I know he had a "complete education", probably with tutors, but I don't think tutors without the supervision of the high lord would say something like "pretend to be a son of a bitch to protect Velaris", because there's no way people from outside the city can go to teach there in the Illyrian mountains, you know? The city was secret. It doesn't make sense. Has he been pretending since forever? Why don't the Illyrians seem to doubt his evil, if he was raised there? If he stayed there even after the war? His mother and sister went to visit him there, I have reason to believe that he lived in Illyria until his father died precisely because the high lord was afraid of being dethroned by Rhsyand, and being kept surrounded by people who hate him would prevent allies and therefore, a rebellion.
So again, what reason does Rhsyand have to pretend to be evil and protect a city he didn't even have access to until he became high lord (he lived there until he was 8, doesn't count, okay? He spent at least over a century with Illyrians)? Is it really a fake? Let's think about it... sarah, sarah, you better give me a decent plot if you want me to actually like your literary abusive god.

Please someone write about this. But not as something frivolous, but rather THE REVOLT. Illyrians open your eyes and make others join!!! EXCAVATED CITY REACTS DAMN IT!!! I WANT THAT FUCKING NOBILITY OF VELARIS DISGUISED AS UTOPIA GOING TO HELL
i know i said i’d shut up about acotar but i’ve never seen a fantasy society so primed for a populist revolution as the night court. all the wealthy merchants and artists are from one single city while a disenfranchised rural population is expected to provide the armies and die for them without seeing any of that wealth? not to mention the fact that the wealthy city elite don’t have to go to war? “oh nooo our greatest threat is koschei the deathless sorcerererrrr” your greatest threat is your citizens discovering class consciousness.

I was plagiarized in a post by ACOTAR. Another Brazilian, on top of that🖕🏻cretin . What the hell was that? I answered an ask from another Brazilian in Portuguese and the other creature simply made a post without changing almost anything in English. On the same day. I hope you get a stomach ache or fall down the stairs. Hell. You could just repost it, damn it, or translate it and say that it was an original post. Disgrace.
IT WAS A POST ABOUT FEYRE, TOMAS AND NESTAAAAA. Damn. I realized it as soon as I saw it ☠️
AND HE STILL POSTED IT ON THE SAME DAY!!!!
I admit that the person added things and made everything a little more elaborate, but I just read the ask and answered. The person came from hell, copied it, improved it and even posted it in tags that I don't usually use. Well, I'm going to post this shit here in these same tags too, damn it. And the link to the original post in Portuguese is here too.
Ask I received from @hani-yo (I put it in English through google translator):
"About the post you reblogged recently, I wanted to point out a perspective (actually, to recall something from Feyre's past self) that I don't see anyone mentioning: it was precisely Feyre who told Nestha, before she was taken to the springlands, not to marry Thomas. Feyre, in the first book, saw all of Thomas's red flags and told Nestha not to marry him, because he, having an abusive father with his own wife, would treat Nestha the same way. And you're telling me that this younger, inconsequential Feyre from ACOTAR was able to see through a man she barely knew, but can't see through Cassian? Through Rhysand? It's said on Wiki that Thomas was popular and had many friends, perhaps the people of the village didn't expect him to be a predator, but Feyre realized it.
And you know what's most ironic? Do you know what Feyre's argument was for his intuition about Thomas? That he didn't take a stand against his father to protect his own mother, that he never did anything to help, and consequently in her logic, this made her believe that Thomas actually agreed with his father's attitude towards his mother. Not to mention the fact that Thomas looked lustfully at Feyre (basically drying her off), so she was already wary of him.
And you know who else doesn't take a stand against an abusive man who wants to *KILL* an innocent woman? Yes, Cassian. And the worst part is that the woman is his own partner. And in a way, Feyre's logic can be applied here... If he doesn't stand up for her, it's because deep down he supports and believes that the abuse against Nestha is the right thing to do. And from what we can see from his POV... That's more than concrete."
To which I replied:
"YES YES YES YES YOU'RE RIGHT!!!! Feyre even uses the same logic with Lucien and Tamlin: if he didn't help me, he'll support Tamlin too.
Cassian is in a similar situation here, he's a friend of the High Lord. The similarity ends there, because their relationship isn't limited to friendship outside of work like Lucien and Tamlin, Cassian and Rhysand call themselves brothers and Nesta is his PARTNER, and he doesn't just keep quiet when Rhysand threatens to kill her, he PUNISHES HER! And he also keeps quiet when she belittles him. He's pushed her away more than once in public and Feyre has SEEN IT! She saw him change lingerie weeks after proposing to Nesta and then leave her alone again. Feyre only sees what she wants. If she likes Cassian, then Cassian is good. Surprise: he's not even for her, content to obey the master and let her die without even knowing why.
And in the second book there's a whole paragraph about how Cassian and Azriel would turn against Rhsyand if she were in danger at his hands. Ilary. She had to and they didn't even blink. Not even Morrigan, who she has as a sister and supposedly helps women to have a choice of their own.
If Tomas was bad just for "letting" his father hit his mother (excluding other things we know about him) what would Cassian be if he allowed his brother to kill the supposed love of his life?"
There, that's what I posted.
I want to add something for the plagiarist: in your post you implied that Feyre knew disgusting things about Tomas "If Tomas was bad just for "letting" his father beat his mother (Feyre's first reason to dislike him was because of this, before knowing how disgusting he was)" you wrote (rewrote on top of my text), but it's not quite like that. I'm re-reading ACOTAR and I passed the scene where Tomas stares at Feyre and he stares at her hungrily because she's carrying a bunch of rabbits. It was hunger. She says it herself a few paragraphs earlier when she says that Tomas's family was a bit better off than the Archerons. So it's completely clear that Tomas faced her with hunger (for food) and Feyre was careful not to bump into him after that. This also goes for the question, which when I answered I hadn't yet picked up the book to re-read. I understand that many people remember it as if he had looked at FEYRE, at her body because it's a detail in the narrative that doesn't get any focus, so this goes as an addition to my answer to you @hani-yo😉.
The plagiarist should confirm the information she finds out there before simply changing the language and posting it to get more views. I'm really pissed off. Why the fuck plagiarize a fandom post, bro?😶
26 years of being punched in the ass and plagiarizing others. Be ashamed of yourself, filthy 😡
Quero acrescentar algo para a plagiadora: no seu post você deu a entender que Feyre sabia coisas nojentas sobre Tomas “If Tomas was bad just for "letting" his father beat his mother (Feyre's first reason to dislike him was because of this, before knowing how disgusting he was)” você escreveu (reescreveu em cima do meu texto), mas não é bem assim.
Esbarrei nisso agora a pouco.
To muito puta.

Suddenly I thought of a fanfic where despite being expelled, Lucien ends up being chosen by magic and becomes the high lord of autumn 🤌🏻. Where did I get that from? I don't know.
Basically, Beron dies in these encounters he has with Bryalin (something like that, I didn't really think about how he would die) and she expected to be able to use the crown on Eris, but magic chose Lucien, who is currently Rhysand's emissary. Lucien is shocked but has nothing to do. Eris is 👁️👄👁️, but then calms down because in the end he is not the one who will administer the territory. And everyone is like 😱😱, because it's no secret that Lucien has a lot of contacts, that he himself is a VERY good advisor, the man is a complete package of skills for a high lord.
The Night Court again tries to use Elain to have an alliance, to get something, to take things from the Autumn... But they don't hide it well and Elain, who did nothing to be "sold" in this way, ends up having the bond denied because Lucien spent a lot of time traveling through the Autumn (I think he says this in book 1 or 3?) because he didn't have lands to manage like his brothers. He knows everything, and in book 3 he basically seemed to blend into the scenery. That's it, Lucien, high lord of the Autumn Court.
Someone write 🙏🏻 (and put it on ao3)
Alguém escreva 🙏🏻 (e coloque no ao3)

This also applies to Rhysand. In Feyre's presence, he stands behind her and looks threateningly, but Feyre doesn't notice, and if she does, he makes her not realize that he's intent on killing her. When Feyre looks away from the scene, he uses the high lord voice so that Nesta is forced to lower her head, and this even irritates Cassian, even if he doesn't interfere, but it's always done so that FEYRE doesn't notice the threat. Always. She only picks up on the IC's subtle irritability, never threatens her. ALL of them are careful about this (and they all notice when it happens, they even come together to distract Feyre). In that intervention, Rhysand absolutely used the high lord command at the same time that Feyre said she was giving Nesta choices. These were NOT choices, it was the pure and raw command of an animal that does not accept having its territory threatened (it feels threatened by Nesta's mere presence, facts) and cannot control itself from growling and attacking while trying to demonstrate some desperate dominance like a territorial beast. I don't know how this seems sexy to this author. It's disgusting.
