I just saw Nile on some metal listicle on Google and it's just always crazy to me when I see them mentioned in the wild because Karl Sanders was my neighbor for 20 years lmao. My brother was friends with his kid and my parents would talk to him at the neighbor pool about the band. He was pretty chill from what I remember but yeah, the singer/guitarist of Nile was my neighbor growing up lol
Wait okay another hc to go along w my last one here me out okay?
In cedars sdcc letter it mentions like that her and her friends are stuck as puppets and because cedar has experience as a puppet she can help her friends escape and who are the other friends stuck as puppets? Maddie, Raven and Apple.
Then she says that she thinks the puppet master is going to hand them over to EQ. HELLO?!?! OKAY ?!?!
Then she says if you can distract him I get get a potion to turn my friends back human. This part isn’t really important but I want to talk about it anyways. We could maybe assume she’s talking to a specific character to save them like cerise or kitty but I think it’s more likely supposed to be the reader. Idk I just think that’s interesting knowing what we know from the legend shadow high.
Back onto the theory, somehow cedars plan fails and the puppet master hands over cedar, Maddie and raven keeping cedar for his show.
Who are the only three who appear in the labyrinth from eah in the lost movie? That’s right Apple, Maddie and raven.
So the lost movie happens and because we don’t get the ending here’s what I think happens, not both of these but either of these could bring us to the next part:
The evil queen curses the narrators to not be able to see ahead because then they can change the story but she actually totally messes up timelines for everything, causing people and narrators to collectively forget things
The protagonists realize it’s dangerous for the worlds to be connected so they magically close all portals like what the gimms did to wonderland. And unfortunately, like wonderland monster high provided essential things to the world of ever after which is plot continuity (because monster world scares the story in line - idk sue me)
And of course a general ending and cedar is saved blah blah blah. Either way the eah girls forget about monster high because it’s been erased from their memories
And then later the legend of shadow high happens
That’s my explanation for how the lost movie/all the eah x mh connections can co exist with the legend of shadow high. And how in legend a lot of it doesn’t line up with previous canon
don’t know how I’m supposed to be okay after hearing ‘staring at the setting sun, no reason to come back again’ & ‘i don't want to feel this way forever’ live ???

saw st. aurora twice this weekend, recap and pictures under the cut 🫡
first up was their first ever tavastia gig! it was so cool to see all of them super excited, and it was clear they were having the time of their lives 🥰
sadly they only had a 30 minute set :( but nile managed to say 'fuck' 20 times during the gig 💀 somehow i ended up with their only setlist of the show, it's definitely getting framed!
i also got to meet some internet friends at the gig, and it was so nice 🥺
then, saturday, jyväskylä and @theflyingfeeling! lutakko was super hot, even though it wasn't super packed 🥵 after delta enigma and their joonas porko lookalike singer, it was time for st. aurora, and almost their whole discography, plus 3 unreleased songs 🥰 i absolutely cannot wait for them to release 'nothing at all'
saturday's shenanigans involved petja breaking a guitar, him using nile as a guitar rack every time he switched between guitars and petja and eemi running around looking like hurricanes cause they actually had space to do that 🌪
as always, on both nights they were hanging oit at their merch, and i had great chats with all of them 🥰 they are such nice people, and their gigs are always a great time
tldr: i love this bunch of dudes a lot. sometimes they play music between the shithousery that goes on on stage
as a bonus for scrolling this far, have a picture of me and eemi after the tavastia gig (look at those curls, and the dog pin!)

i just randomly had the realization (while doing some mending, as you do) that one of the reasons jimin is my bias is because his unique voice shares qualities with the singer of my og favorite "boyband", simon lebon
they both possess that vocal "sob" and a slightly nasalized "growl" in the lower register - if you listen to say, Take the Dice (or anything off Seven and the Ragged Tiger) and then listen to Face Off you'll get an idea of what i mean
they are not at all alike otherwise - simon's voice is often strident and anthemic, not really ever delicate or breathy the way jimin sometimes is
but the jimin growls and low notes from early days bts aren't so far off - sparking off a recent discussion i saw somewhere: i think in his heyday simon *could* have covered Lie the way few might be able to
