The nocturnal demon that wanders the countryside, his appearance is that of a wild man or troll.

Interestingly, his candle-holding hand has been compared to the Hand of Glory legend.

Eva loved it. Gilbert knew her so well that it was clear he thought of her the moment he saw this. She set the box off to the side, opting to put the necklace on later. She put her hand over his and kissed his palm.

Then she moved closer to wrap her arms around his neck. "I should be thanking you as well, Gilbert. I was just a stranger you happened to bump into and agreed to help out. I would have been lost if you hadn't done that." She played with some of his dark locks.

"In fact, I was lost in more ways than one. I was lost in life, trying to find a new way for myself. You helped me to find that new path. One that walked alongside you. So thank you."
