Nichols N1A, 2023. A project by a former McLaren designer to create a Can‑Am inspired road car styled after the McLaren M1A, the first sportscar designed and built by Bruce McLaren’s racing team. An initial run of 17 launch-spec cars will feature a dry-sump 7.0-litre-develop of the GM LS3. These new blocks have been bored out to their new 427ci capacity with steel liners and upgraded pistons, producing around 660PS. Each of these engines will be built by Langford Performance Engineering, a company that has produced F1 engines. All models will come with a six-speed manual gearbox. The graphene-infused carbon-fibre bodywork covering an aluminium and carbon-fibre chassis means very light 900kg weight and a 710PS per tonne power-to-weight ratio. Prices have yet to be confirmed but are said to be in the region of £450,000

SATURDAY MUSIC VIDEO MATINEE: “We’re Getting Closer to the Sun”—https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6uYsfZKue5s It was 55 years ago today that man set foot on the moon, via the Apollo 11 Moon Mission. On that note, lyrics in this song were prompted by Lt. Uhura’s (Nichelle Nichols) comments to Captain Kirk (William Shatner) in the 1968 Star Trek TV episode, “Bread & Circuses.” The song is the title track from a full-length album in the works—a collection of songs based on a childlike faith in themes of the cosmos and God, angels and astronauts, spirit and science. Musically it pulls from late 60s experimental pop and psychedelia, surf rock, spy movie music, and future-primitive sounds. I drew inspiration from the moral tales in “The Twilight Zone” TV series, the C.S. Lewis space trilogy, and science fiction books I read in grade school from Scholastic Book Services, particularly books by Alexander Key. Some modern sci-fi (especially in film) is dystopian, depicting the human race as grubby poltroons who deserve to be enslaved by machines or brutal corporate dictators. I defer to a gentler, cleaner, and constructive brand of sci-fi, speaking towards empathy, hope, possibilities, and divine dynamics.

The First Confession
Using this prompt in this fanfic today, credits to whoever created this, I found it on Pinterest.
Y'all I had to write this twice because my phone died and it wasn't saved 😭
Summary: Tory and Y/n have been dating for a year now. Y/n decided to invite Tory over to their house for a sleepover.
Warnings: no pronouns used for reader
I had finally convinced Tory to come over for a sleepover. She is gonna arrive in about an hour so I don't have much time to set up. I need this to be the best sleepover she's ever been to. Granted it will just be me and her but... it will be great.
I put Coraline on the TV to wait for her, it's one of our favorite shared movies so I figured it would be a great way to start off the night.
The table is basically filled with snacks, I'm talking chips, to drinks, to candy, to fast food. Yes I went out and got McDonald's fries.
I almost jump out of my skin when I hear the doorbell ring. I rush over to the door and open it to see my loving girlfriend. Her arms are open for a hug and she's grinning ear to ear. I hug her and kiss her cheek. She goes into the house and sits on the couch waiting for me.
"So I got a whole schedule for tonight. I'm talking the works. We got fort making, pillow fights, snacking, try not to laugh videos, videos game and board games, and last but not least movies. You just need to pick what we should do first." "Hmm," She says pretending to question what she wants to do, "We should build a fort first." She then throws a pillow at me, which I do catch. "Oh you wanna fight? I'm not gonna go easy on you babe." I say as I grab the pillow and get ready to swing. "I should be saying that to you." She says with a smirk as she hits me with a pillow, indeed striking first.
After our pillow fight we did end up building an awesome fort. We watched only one movie, Coraline and played a few board games. I won twice at Clue but she won three times at monopoly, I swear I hate that game. But she's so cute when she wins.
After that we moved onto video games and having our energy drinks and junk food. We played Mortal Kombat for about 2 hours before we finally just called it a tie.
Then we moved onto the try not to laugh videos. It was mostly the ones where they scare people, like jump scares, or people almost breaking a bone doing something stupid. We even spiced it up by putting water in our mouths so if we did laugh we'd spit the water all over the place.
Tory ended up with water up her nose after a particularly bad jump scare. Their face they made was just so funny. The water ended up everywhere so we ended up spending some time on the floor with towels, still laughing at the ongoing videos.
We decided to wind down to another classic movie, Flipped. Such a good movie.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After Flipped was over we climbed into my bed making ourselves comfortable. My parents were to come back next weekend so there was no reason to be cautious.
Tory asked to be big spoon tonight so I allowed her to spoon me. She put on some calming music to sleep to.
As I closed my eyes and started to fall asleep I felt light tracing on my back. It wasn't too noticeable at first. But it seemed to be repeating the same thing. Eight letters, possibly two maybe three words. I decided to really concentrate on it for a minute.
After a few times of Tory's tracing I figured it out. "I Love You" Was written about 30 times on my back already. This was the first time either one of us has said the words, well I guess she didn't say them technically. But she brought them up first so that's something.
After cuddling for a while Tory started to move away a bit in a half groggy state. I immediately moved towards her, wrapping my arms around her. "I love you too." I whisper sweetly in her ear.
Stuart Margolin (January 31, 1940 – December 12, 2022) Film, stage and television actor and director who won two Emmy Awards for playing Evelyn "Angel" Martin on the 1970s television series The Rockford Files. In 1973, he played in Gunsmoke as an outlaw. In 1981, Margolin portrayed the character of Philo Sandeen in a recurring role as a Native American tracker in the 1981–1982 television series, Bret Maverick.
Margolin played the recurring character Evelyn "Angel" Martin, the shifty friend and former jailmate of Jim Rockford (James Garner) on The Rockford Files, whose various cons and schemes usually got Rockford in hot water. Margolin was earlier paired with Garner in the Western series Nichols (1971–72), in which he played a character somewhat similar to the Angel character in The Rockford Files. That show lasted for only one season.
In 1969 Margolin wrote and co-produced The Ballad of Andy Crocker, an ABC television movie that was one of the first films to deal with the subject matter of Vietnam veterans "coming home."
Margolin appeared in episodes of the television series M*A*S*H ("Bananas, Crackers and Nuts" and "Operation Noselift"), The Partridge Family ("Go Directly to Jail" and "A Penny for His Thoughts"), That Girl ("11 Angry Men and That Girl" as a juror, and "7¼ (Part 2)" as Leonard Stanley). The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Rhoda, an episode of Land of the Giants ("The Mechanical Man"), Twelve O'Clock High ("Mutiny at Ten Thousand Feet"), The Monkees ("Monkees Watch Their Feet"), Love, American Style (in which he was a member of the Love American Style Players; his brother Arnold Margolin was the executive producer of the series), Crazy Like a Fox (playing a similar character to Angel Martin), The Fall Guy (in which he played Ace Cochran in "The Molly Sue"), Magnum, P.I., Hill Street Blues (as bookmaker Andy Sedita in the consecutive episodes "Hacked to Pieces" and "Seoul on Ice") and Touched by an Angel ("With God as My Witness").
In May 2009, Margolin appeared on an episode of 30 Rock, opposite Alan Alda; it was the first time the two actors appeared together since Margolin's appearance on M*A*S*H in 1974.
Margolin appeared in the 2009 CTV/CBS police drama series The Bridge.
Margolin appeared as bail jumper Stanley Wescott in the episode The Overpass (Season 5 Episode 2; 2013) of the Canadian CBC Television series Republic of Doyle, which itself was inspired by The Rockford Files. (Wikipedia)
The absence of legal and, especially, democratic accountability is, or should be, an existential problem for any police reform agenda. Without a strategy to curb or break the cartel power of police departments — meaning their ability to undermine, neuter and subvert all attempts to regulate and control their actions and personnel — there is no practical way to achieve meaningful and lasting reform, if that is your goal. Indeed, anything resembling a root-and-branch transformation of American policing will only ever occur after the public is able to exercise real control over the institution itself.
....
With great power should come greater responsibility and accountability. The more authority you hold in your hands, the tighter the restraints should be on your wrists. To give power and authority without responsibility or accountability — to give an institution and its agents the right and the ability to do violence without restraint or consequence — is to cultivate the worst qualities imaginable, among them arrogance, sadism and contempt for the lives of others.
The Walmart Version Part 6
MARCH 29: Another visit, or probably he stayed in Berlin for many days and wanted to make the best out of it by going to the swings with Nichols.
April 5: Letkowski posted a story with a Kettcar album photo. I will paraphrase what he posted :"The best gift when you leave the clinic".
And a second story after the out of the clinic/hospital: (that's Christin Nichols)
"The Last Fear". That's what the hashtag means. He suposedly leaves the clinic, maybe because he had another panic attack, and he chooses to spend time drinking wine-as you can see on the photo- and being with Nichols, I repeat, AFTER LEAVING THE CLINIC.
What does it mean that Christin Nichols is the "last fear "?
I replied to his story with : "#homewrecker ". And he replied, "Danke Mary" (changed the name). And I replied to him, "I'm not that person". I even sent him a screenshot of the last part of the conversation I had with Mary. And even after that, he didn't believe me. He said I was talking with myself. And keep in mind, he replied in german, and I've said here and there that I don't speak german, so it was very funny to see that he refuses to believe the truth. Maybe that's what it is convenient to him. To his brain. Instead of not having answer, you create something you're familiar with. But again, I rather remain anonymous for my safety. Only after that day, he blocked me. He didn't do it on February. He did it on April. And you know why ? Because he was reporting my content probably since January, ? February ? March ? What a c*cks*cker. He was watching all my content, reading the posts, like a drama queen, and after that he chose to report my account, not because of what I wrote, but because of some content that was made into memes. He didn't like that. I thought it was funny. And what it annoyed me most was that there were Marleen Lohse photos, edits, quotes, photos of a dog, movie stills, all of that it is owned by him ???It was so unfair, SO unfair.
In the same month, probably around the 12nd or 14th of April, I posted some photos and commentary about the apologetic attitude and behaviour Crhistin Nichols has towards Letkowski. Christin Nichols, who is s self proclaimed feminist, has a double standard in terms of supporting women. I call it a "selective feminism".
In the Ig post that I made, I called both out. Nichols for supporting a p*rn addict and misogynistic person, and Letkowski for having a double face, Mr. Nice man attitude, that in reality as I witnessed myself, he is not. He's totally the oposite of someone kind or good.
This is the manifesto, Crhistin Nichols posted in my Instagram account:
The hysterical tone, even mental, really disturbs me. We're talking about a woman who wished for an actor to d1e, just because she didn't like something he said. If you want further detail just Google "Dieter Hallervorden Christin Nichols".
Here is my response. And I want to include that a day or two after she wrote that comment, I had to reply to her via dm's, and her attitude was completely different from the message above. She even said "what do you want me to do ?", what's your agenda?". And after 10 minutes, she shifted to a more sharp tone, basically said that she doesn't want me to contact her anymore. Wht happened in those 10 minutes ? Was it because she was with him ?Dunno.
