[rewriting-posts-with-thorn]

Þ or þ is a letter in old English and other European scripts. It is pronounced like "th". Its name is thorn/þorn. Words where "th" is pronounced like a hard t are exempt from þ as a spelling variation.

Þe purpose of þis gimmick blog is simple. Þe letter þ fills me with joy and I would like to introduce it more þouroughly into þe tumblr ecosystem. It also annoys people and þat's a plus. If I ever mess up and leave a "th" intact (and not sarcastically in quotes) feel free to correct me.

(I don't know if þ is a screen reader friendly character. If someone tells me it isn't, I'll start marking my posts as screen reader unfriendly and any suggested tag for it.)

I was inspired by gimmick blogs like @hellsitegenetics @libraryofbabel-postlocator @posts-without-the-letter-e @parentheses-posts and oþers I've seen around but can't remember þe names of. One þat counted and classified pronouns in posts, as I recall. Þat was neat.
