Flat color references for Superboy: Kon-El/Conner kent, Super-man: Kong Kenan and Superman: Jon Kent

At first i was just going to make a general reference for my interpretation of Kenan's current design so i didn't have to look at 10 different images everytime i drew him, then i thought i might as well make one for Kon so i could see how they would look together, and then i thought i had to make one for my baby Jon too because i didn't want him to be left out !

What if I just drowned myself? Kenan went from saving Baixi and assuring he has his back to having to be misunderstood by Baixi and the rest of the JLC to save his life.

And on top of all of that! Kenan still enforces the fact he knows Baixi enough that Baixi would not cross Kenan's back. Kenan's trust and love for his friend, Baixi, led Baixi to continue living but it costs him the mistrust of Baixi and the rest of JLC

Kong Kenan, New Super-Man, by Ethan Young.

I'm so glad this guy was made an official part of the Superman Family. I can see him and Conner getting into all sorts of hi-jinks.

I worry now that because Phillip Kennedy Johnson is no longer writing Action Comics all the good work he put into establishing the new Superman Family is going to fall by the wayside.

I understand DC's desire to give high profile writers a chance to work with Superman (like Jason Aaron's recent Bizarro story). Perhaps, though, we could have a separate book that highlights the family members. I'm dying to see more stories featuring the Super-Twins, Otho and Osul-Ra.
