I want to write a short story with biblical inspiration so I thought that if I wanted to do this I should probably at least read parts of the bible that I want to reference. So I'm listening to the book of John for the first time and I didn't expect to laugh while listening to it. In one of the early verses of John one of the apostles goes "we have found him the Christ(savior) he comes from Nazareth" and his friend just looks at him weird and is like you sure dude I don't think anything good can come from Nazareth. Apperently Jesus came from the ancient equivalent of New Jersey. As such I decree all modern interpretations of the story of Jesus must give him a strong New Jersey accent
