Gobbled up the Dandadan anime and manga recently and absolutely adored it all. Not only does it feature the most likable and strongly written female characters I’ve ever seen in a shonen, it discusses extremely pertinent themes about consent and bodily autonomy from a lens of female solidarity while also elevating healthy relationships with kind communicative male characters who respect boundaries. It’s wacky, fun, gorgeous, and super refreshing.

Genuinely amused when people who don't know anything about Christianity try to draw on it as a source for their fantasy -- "Oh this is my half-demon OC who takes damage from holy things and is stuck in a church, better hope that communion wine in the back doesn't spill anywhere!" You mean the regular. wine in the back? The very normal alcohol that is completely indistinguishable from any other alcohol to anyone at all until the actual communion ceremony? The Mogen David? I have an idea for a fic, but it feels very complicated.

So, it's one of those "Dan gets redeemed early, Dani is Ellie and has a sibling relationship with Danny and Jazz, the Fentons know and approve" fics when Bad Stuff happens. Maybe GiW led by Vlad manage to start the apocalypse, something like that, but the Fentons are dead and now Danny, Jazz, Ellie, Dan, Tucker and Sam are alone against everything as the world finally breaks-

Only for Clockwork to stop everything. He didn't want to stop the apocalypse (what is it but a new beginning) but he does care for the family, in his own way. And suddenly, everyone wakes up.
