Ok so if you have emetophobia and/or have ever drowned I highly recommend you don’t use a neti pot for your sinuses because it will trigger a whole body panic experience that will not go away for hours.

Having congestion stuff going on right now so decided to get one of those Neti Pots since I saw one cheap. How long or how many times do I need to use it before I should see it working?

I had been dragging my feet about using my neti pot again for whatever weird congestion i have in mostly just the ear tubes of my sinuses, but after finally bucking up and doing the damn thing (poorly at first, my sinks are So Tall i probably need a stool to cope 😭😭😭) i was able to fully pop my right eardrum for the first time in a minute, and very squeakily partially pop my left -- evidence that it was much needed, and i'm gonna have to do it more later this week 😅🤣😅

I am once again suffering with a deeply heinous sinus infection but I'm genuinely not sure if using a neti pot is making it worse or not.

It seems to provide temporary relief but then I think of the brain eating amoebas and I scare myself.

Anyway I'm gonna boil the kettle to sterilise more water.

I've been turned into a disciple of the neti pot. My nose is clear, bathroom sink is a little gross.

Here's a tip for anyone who needs it:

If you're trying to get rid of a sinus infection, don't use a 160GPH aquarium pump as a neti pot.
