A little peek into the love story of Miho and Noah from Rock Bottom. Miho and Adina were the only ones ever allowed to see Noah's soft side, and both always believed that Noah and Miho would be married someday.

Notes:

This is part of my Rock Bottom AU canon, which means that Noah and Miho are the same age as Yugi and the gang. Adina (yes, the princess from the Legendary Heroes arc) is Noah's little sister, and this does minorly soil Rock Bottom if you haven't read it yet, but only subtly. I can this ship Neonshipping, and I know I give Noah a lot of crap in RB, but they do genuinely love each other.

In the days leading up to the holiday, he’d been leaving little gifts and/or things she’d need in the locker room of her Gym or at her doorstep. Once the day itself rolled around, he was ready. He still left the gifts throughout the day, but once night hit... He stood onstage with only her as an audience, double-neck guitar she’d gotten him in hand, where he preformed a song he’d written specially for her. Details only they’d know, plenty of allusions to Electric Type moves, stage lights shining a bright yellow and white. “So, er... how was that?” he casually asked with a smirk once the song finished. {For Rio!}

      Normally, Valentine’s Day was a day exclusively for Rio to give love and attention to her Pokémon. After all, they battled nearly daily except for off-season. Well, that is until Piers showed up in her life. She finally had someone precious to her, and that still was true even today.

      Each gift she found served as little pick-me-ups during the week, but she in no way expected what occurred that night. Each lyric, every note, especially written for her. she swore at that moment, she felt like the only person in the world...and she loved it. It was the best, most electrifying feeling in her book.

      When asked what she thought, she didnt hesitate to give him a peck on the lips, alongside a huge hug. Her actions were barely enough to display the amount of gratitude she had for him in that moment.  “I loved it! Literally the best gift I could ask for!” The grin on her face wasn’t going away any time soon, that’s for sure.

       “Just...wow. How long did it take for you to write all those lyrics?”
