How has your month been? Has it been miserable since I left? Thought so. I wrote this letter for you to know I am not dead... yet. But I know Dovey is planning something. I don't hold it against her, I am a Never after all. Bringing and causing trouble is what we do. I deeply miss you, the corridors of the good side has never been empty. Your eyes are the only ones that make the Good side worth to step on. How are the little Never-evers? Tell me if Milicent has been causing any trouble, I would gladly send a flying lizard in her dreams. But what about the bun? Have they kicked yet? Do write to me whenever they do. I would love not to miss it, but the children here would not last a day without me. Yesterday, Hort tripped on a root in the Blue Forest and got himself bitten on every part of his body by the roses. “Write to you huh?” You smirked and caressed your bump whilst Milicent laid on your lap. Brushing Milicent's hair from her face, you pinched the girl's cheek. “How about we take a little trip to Nemmy?”

As soon as you mentioned Leonora's name to your child, Milicent dropped to sit down on the floor and stared at you excitingly. “We're going to see Nemmy? Me wikey!”

You gave your eldest a chuckle. “You wikey, huh? Then go on, pack your things!” With that, Milicent ran off to her room.

Smiling to yourself, you gazed at the portrait of you and Leonora on your wedding day. “I miss you, my Never.”

“I swear! Lesso, you always do this!” Dovey stomped in front of Lesso and plopped down on the chair.

Rolling her eyes, Lesso scoffed and massaged her temples. “What have I done now, princess?” Dovey was driving her mad. Leonora knows she didn't do anything, yet here was her counterpart scolding her.

Dovey grumbled and sat up straight. Waving her hands, Dovey conjured a piece of paper and flicked it on Lesso's desk. “Were you ever going to tell me that you have a daughter?”

Lesso's eyes widened as she listened to Dovey and read the contents of the paper at the same time. Written on the paper was- ‘Can't wait to see you Nemmy! Love, Millie.’

Breathing heavily, Lesso closed her eyes and folded the paper in half, hiding it at a cabinet in her desk. “You–” Lesso pointed a finger to Dovey's direction. “will not speak of this. To anyone. Understand?”

Eyes widening, Dovey gulped and nodded frantically. Dovey has had her moments wherein Lesso has been vile, evil, and unmerciful. But the Lesso in front of her was different. Dovey noticed the passion fueled by love behind Lesso's eyes. Relaxing slightly, Dovey fiddled with her thumbs and leaned forward. “So– a family huh?”

Sighing and leaning back her chair, Lesso nodded and conjured a photo frame. “Yes. Millicent is five years, turning six next month. The bun is due for another two months.” She explained to her counterpart. Lesso found something to laugh about as she watched Dovey panicking.

Stretching her fingers and blowing her baby hairs, Dovey took it upon herself to not look into Lesso's eyes. “May I ask, who?”

Lesso raised her eyebrow at Dovey, making the Ever restate her question. “Who's the lucky Never?”

Dovey winced at her words and watched as Lesso's face went through different emotions the past minute before it settled into a mocking smile. “Oh no, you've got it all wrong, Clarissa.” Lesso smirked at Dovey, knowing that her revelation will shock the Dean of Good. “Y/N is an Ever.”

Dovey gasped and choked on thin air at Lesso's words. Y/N... THE Y/N?! “You–” Dovey pointed her index finger at Lesso. “married Y/N? THE Y/N?!”

Lesso shrugged and gave Dovey a victorious look. “Well.”

Lunch came and Dovey found herself staring at Lesso and avoiding the Dean of Evil's eyes when Lesso shot her a look of annoyance. It wasn't that Dovey was... well surprised. She's more shocked than surprised. What she means is, Y/N of The Isle married someone like Lesso? The scariest person in their school.

Dovey continued to stare at Lesso, but her attention was gotten by a knocking on the door. Standing up, Dovey frowned when the fairies flew in one line. “The fairies never behaved like this before, Clarissa. What is happening?” Anemone, the one standing beside Dovey, asked the Dean.

But before Dovey could reply, a small child came barreling down the hall and ran towards Lesso.

“Nemmy! Nemmy!”

Every Ever and Never who had food in their mouths choked whilst the others had their jaws dropping as they saw the Dean of Evil stand up and meet the child halfway.

“Why hello there, sweet child.” Lesso knelt down and embraced the child whilst caressing her hair.

“Nemmy... I missed you! Did you see my wetter?” Millicent played with her mother's tie and looked up innocently.

Lesso hummed and nodded. “I did. Now where is your mother?”

Just as Millicent was about to answer, the fairies made way to the tired Ever. “Right here, m'love.”

Leaving Millicent a kiss on the forehead, Lesso motioned the child to run towards Dovey and Anemone as she waltz towards her wife. As you were arms length away, Lesso took your hand and dragged you towards her and locked you in an embrace. “How has my wife been?”

Not believing her eyes earlier, Anemone trusted her ears and gasped as she heard Lesso's question towards you. Leaning towards Dovey, she asked. “Lesso... has a wife?”

Millicent grinned up at Anemone and answered while holding up two fingers. “And a kid too!”

i love superache, so it's hard to pick, but I think I would have to go with either disaster because it's such a fun song which still packs a punch emotion wise, or family line because it makes me cry everytime 😭

This summer I got to read Nemesis novel (mostly to munch on some thinges for Nikolai). He was such an adorable bastard most of the time, but it was clear in the middle they're going to give him the bad ending option. Yep, after everything he did it was pretty much deserved, but I still was kinda astonished and needed to process on this one, coz oh. Yes Nemmy doing the natural things, but oooh xD

So yeah, this is not my usual type of drawing and theme (you killing your blorbo???), but how they say "canon typical violense" and it was not bad to explore it. Full ver under the cut. CW: death, gore, blood, intestines, guts out, torn in half

Yes yes yes, let me tell you all about it!

Sorry this took a little while, but there was a lot more to type out, once I really got going.

So I don't know if you've read any of my other info-dumps in the reblogs of the OG post, but to recap on that: none of the Stratos-Helios kids know Sol is also aware of the timeloops. They get so caught up in protecting Sol's happiness, they forget to consider "if we remember, does Sol remember too?", while Sol has been so used to being alone with this, they don't really think the others might know as well.

The only one fully in the loop is Sym, and Sym thinks the entire situation is too hilarious to let anyone know. And then Congruence also rather quickly catches on, and she's of a similar mindset.

Now, further developments:

The Stratos Kids:

Marz: in my mind, Marz will always be Marz - no matter the situation. But Marz in this AU is very aware that, although words don't mean anything to her, they sure do mean a lot to the people around her. So while still brutally honest, and with her memories of past politics, this is a Marz who's just a little bit softer around the edges. Better at using her words, better at using her leadership skills to help on a much wider scale than just further her own interests. Much to Eudicot's delight, this Marz - while she'll still complain and whine about any sort of work - still contributes to the colony. Particularly, she becomes quite the little helper and organizer around the offices. What they don't realize, however, is that she's also quite good at listening, and she never stops paying attention - meaning she picks up a lot more secrets than they realize.

Tang: like Marz, Tangent has also been given a serious reality check as to her attitude and actions. Particularly how her words impact her relationship with Dys, and how it will end if she doesn't change. Cue extreme mutual hovering and clinginess (which the adults chalk up to the two bonding after the crash), as well as an increased effort to communicate with help from Tammy and Marz. Aside from this, Tang has also wisened up to Instance not really being an ideal role-model, instead turning to Professor Hal and Congruence for guidance on more matters - not just academia. She also gets a lot more respect for both Dys and Cal, relying heavily on the data they can bring back to the labs, and she even dares to venture out on a few expeditions herself.

Dys: he's a matched pair with Tang after the crash, getting hit particularly hard with the memories of lives where they reconcile. And with Tang actively reaching out to him, actually trying to understand him, well... he feels like he owes it to her to return the gesture. This is a Dys who's suddenly become aware that what happened with their mom was wrong, but that people do care what happens to him. He bonds with Tang over engineering and being uncomfortable in their own bodies, but without letting that dysphoria define their actions. They're a unit, and with their combined intelligence - Tang's book-smarts and Dys' knowledge about Vertumna - they're a force to be reckoned with. Dys in this context is better at taking care of himself, but he also reminds Tang to do the same, and it becomes common to see the two napping together in the sunlight. Sometimes the two of them, but often all of the Stratos Kids join in, with Sol right there in the middle of the pile.

Nemmie: oh boy, Anemone. Like Marz, Nemmie will always be Nemmie. But this Nemmie has all of the trauma of her past lives to deal with, and at first? Not great. It manifests in separation anxiety and a near self-destructive need to protect. This is where her friendship with Cal and Tammy proves so extremely valuable, because their combined efforts serve to ground her and keep her fears an anxieties in check. Once out in the open about their memories, and apologies have been made for past rifts, she and Cal (and sometimes Dys) eventually get to discuss their different points of view and why they follow their different beliefs. It's through these chats that both come to a conclusion that neither of them is right or wrong, that it's all about balance - the world isn't black and white, it's grey. For Nemmie, this means she has a much clearer understanding of what and who she's fighting for. She splits her time between the Garrison, athletics, and - surprisingly - the medical wing. Because fighting is all fine and good, but what use is it, if she can't help those who have already been hurt? And isn't it better that, if she's already out fighting and someone gets hurt, she can be there to help them? That's right - it's Paladin Nemmie time, Vertumna's first combat medic. (Of course, the end goal is as little fighting as possible, but with Helios on the way... she'd rather be prepared for anything).

Cal: make way for Vertumna's newest master of agriculture and xeno-botany. Cal is here to stop the famine and possibly help Tang with the shimmer or so help him. If the boy was a good farmer before, he's leveled up considerably now that he's got knowledge of past lives. Much to Noctiluscent's fury, this boy is neck and neck with them in the duel of "feed the humans vs. starve the humans", if not a few steps ahead even. He teams up with Tang, Dys and Tammy to create new food solutions and contingency plans, should anything fail. His parents and Sol's all worry he'll burn out, but fortunately he's got his chats with Nemmie and regular nap-sessions with the other kids to keep him from destroying his own body. And whenever Sol is in need of anything, he'll gladly drop everything to come help them.

Tammy: perhaps the one who benefits the most from remembering her past lives is, surprisingly, our very own Aspartame. Sick and tired of having always been afraid, Tammy finds a new strength in her many new memories. Oh, she still loves the babies, still loves caring for the kids and dreams of motherhood. But her new mindset has her going "why can't I be both mother and brave?", resulting in a new interest in health and medicine. Studying intensely under Antecedent's watchful eye in the kitchen, Tirah's patient teachings in the medlab and enduring Professor Instance's harsh criticism, Tammy eventually grows to be a brilliant doctor in her own right, despite her learning difficulties. It helps that she knows it's working early on. Her efforts with Tang and Dys, helping them communicate and care for their bodies properly and watching the results, is a massive confidence boost, and eventually even Instance must acknowledge her skills.

Sol: Sol is just out here living their best life. Seriously, things have never been this easy, it's awesome! Sure, they got knocked out before they could fix the shields this time, but they're not really feeling up for being an engineer this time around, and anyways it seems like things are going fine? Better than fine, things are great! They don't recall Tang and Dys getting along this well, Tammy went and got cotton candy with them this life, and they're always invited to nap-piles. It's awesome! .......Sol may be a little oblivious this time around, but who can blame them? They've been through a lot, they deserve a nice break from being the hero.

The Helios Kids:

Vace: coming in as a close second to who benefits the most remembering past lives, we've got Vace. Vace, by all means, is still an asshole. He's still an angry kid with a lot of issues, but the memories have tempered that. This is a Vace who comes to Vertumna with a LOT of reality checks pre-installed, and he's a lot more questioning of the actions of the government he's supposed to serve - he just knows not to ask them where someone can hear. He's not quite a human-supremacist anymore. Like Nemmie, it comes down to wanting to protect people, but he's still very unsure of the why and what he's fighting for, and for countless lives all he's really had was the xenos. But he's had his eyes opened to humans being as capable of being monsters as the animals on Vertumna, and yes, that includes himself. He steers as clear of Nemmie as he can, especially once its out in the open that the Stratos kids also know their past lives, and he's got a not-quite-friendship with Rex and Nomi. The end result for him is, if Nemmie's a paladin-like soldier, as more of a fighter or a guardian, with some knowledge about engineering after somehow befriending Dys and Tang while on guard duty during their expeditions to the Ridge.

Rex: Rex is and always will be a good, happy boy. In all honesty, out of all the kids, Rex is the one who changes the least from his knowledge of the past lives. Well, there's one major change: Vace never broke Rex's arm and isn't actively going after him and Nomi-Nomi, but they're not the best of friends. By all means, Rex wants to be friends, but Vace has given enough hints that he's afraid of himself and his past behavior to truly befriend Rex. This all means that Rex is living a life getting beaten up a lot less, which honestly suits him just fine. Instead he's already well on his way to becoming a brilliant caretaker by the time the Heliopause lands, and while he still works construction and opens his bar, he's also seen with the little kids much more early on... and he may be a tad bit attached at the hip with Sol.

Nomi-Nomi: is the textbook definition of "jack of all trades, master of none - but better than a master of none"... well, except art and writing, they're an absolute master at that, but they latched on to all the different things they tried in their past lives and decides to get better at them - heck, they decide to try many more things, and by the time the Heliopause crashes, Nomi's one of the go-to people for smaller issues that need fixing. They like fixing things and exploring with Dys, they like assisting Tang and Cal in the lab and gardens, they like helping out in the kitchen - Nomi-Nomi just likes helping in general. With Marz's help, they make a case for the arts becoming an important part of the colony, and if they tear up a little every time Sol praises them with that genuine wonder in their eyes (as they have so many times before), well... that's just Nomi-Nomi being their usual emotional self.

Bonus - the Gardeners:

Sym: Sym is having the time of his eternal life. No, seriously, this is the most fun he's had in aeons. First the new species landing upon the planet - fascinating! Then the little ones - Dysthymia and Tangent - sneaking outside of the walls, seeking him out and speaking of knowing past lives - curious! And they wish to protect their precious friend. Sure, they want their new home to be safe, but specifically this one friend, because apparently they deserve the world, and they don't know the others remember their past lives - admirable and adorable, like little hopeyes protecting their flock! And then that very same friend comes outside the walls and seeks him out too, and wouldn't you know it, they also remember their past lives? But don't tell Dys and the others, nobody knows about them having this knowledge. Oh - oh no. This is isn't just interesting - it's hilarious, and he is invested. And suddenly there are all these little ones following him around at various times, and he's going to protect these kids with his life now. Noctilucent and the Overseer can come at him if they dare. (He's pretty sure brilliant little Tang and Cal could hack into the Array and stop them from trying, anyways.)

Noctilucent: Noct isn't having a good time. They're having the worst time ever, in fact. Sym better wipe that damn smirk off of his face, because they're at their limit - they want these parasites off of Vertumna, and they want them gone now. But the young parasites attach themselves to Sym like fungi, and then the kid with white and black fur on her head suddenly finds him and starts asking all these questions about the planet that are honestly rather engaging, and would they mind if she brought another friend to ask more questions later, and well... they suppose these little things are rather adorable, in their tenacity. .....oh, for the love of the ancients, stop smirking Sym!

They eat dinner, and the food as as always pleasant and plentiful. The Tyrant was a second late in stopping himself as he let out a low hungry growl that made Sia jump in her chair. The child looks at him in concern about to open her mouth; an unsaid, are you mad at me? ready to be said. And Nemesis furiously shakes his head, no! In the motion, he unthinkingly flings a chunk of meat mid-chew that lands against the nearby wall with a wet thud. i had this thought when i first concepted their backstory bc i had a very brief earthbound + mother 3 phase but splendont and the twins finish earthbound and he tells them that he hasn't played mother 3 but hes heard good things about and they play the fan translation.

'oh huh they're twins. haha lets name the characters after our family!" says lifty, naming lucas after himself, klaus after shifty, hinawa after their dead mom, and flint after their father who was very much impacted by the death of their mother

35 or so hours of gameplay later, the emotional damage levels are out of this fucking world.

The Worst Sims 4 Save (cq for. vague nsfw mentions)

the other day i made splendont and the twins (and splendid) in the sims 4 with wicked whims installed and also plopped down an old shizaya household i made and had shifty go visit them. he stole 3 things, did not not hit it off great with izaya (but found them both attractive) and then proceeded to mess around on their tablet while they got freaky. shizuo THEN proceeded to start a fire on the grill only for shifty to put it out. then he went home.

shifty also liked to kick the trash can when he got angry (i gave him the hot headed trait) and bc lifty and splendont kept getting playful (listen i ran out of ideas - i gave lifty a custom traits that gave him a constant sad moodlet and another negative one so i replaced that with playful and i gave splendont one that made him playful around his loved ones) so they kept fucking playing in the trash. they were also insatiable (to be fair i had it turned on high a while for the hell of it and was constantly running romantic actions to try and fix relationship satisfaction) but god damn. it was basically either flirty, playful (for lifty and splendont), angry (for shifty), or sad (for lifty, though he sometimes got a fine or tense moodlet). i ended up stopping playing the save file bc it was too hard trying to balance two romantic satisfaction bars and making them stop getting freaky to go to work (shifty was unemployed but dont and lifty had jobs) even tho i was using cheats

getting freaky doesnt really help the satisfaction btw and it just interrupted a lot of my flirting actions so having it on high didnt really work the way i was hoping

FFXIV AU Starting Guilds

whats arguably funny about the twins quitting their starting guilds is that

1. the lvl 15 archer quest is when silvaire stops trying to get the wol expelled from the guild and just doesnt want to really show he accepts their skill. shifty still throws a tantrum n breaks the bow and quits.

2. the level 15 pugilist quest is when hamom reveals he isnt as good as he used to be bc hes old and chuchuto asks the wol to help him regain his passion. and then lifty has to awkwardly tell her that this is Not for him.

i woke up several times last night having nervous breakdowns so the weekend sure is going! anyway here’s some #content:

ayase miho: the oldest oc i have, she was actually created for a danganronpa rp group my friends back then invited me to, but it fell apart really fast due to teen drama. i liked miho enough to keep writing her and have brought her to several different rp groups after that. i really don’t know what my original intention for her was since it’s been so long, but at the moment she represents my intent to write a character who is a “psychopath” but isn’t necessarily evil. she’s extremely clever, sexually bold, and a manipulator. she doesn’t care about morality, only what interests her. she was the heiress to a wealthy family but ran away and forfeited her inheritance to a younger sister she hates. she currently works as a high end call girl in tokyo. her vibe is pretty heavily influenced by some of the modern japanese lit i’ve read, ESPECIALLY nakamura fuminori’s the kingdom.

fujii hayate: i made him for the pokemon legends arceus rp group i was invited to back when that game came out. because a lot of people were making cool and heroic ocs, i wanted to counterbalance that with someone who was just. a regular guy. hayate was a medic from johto who traveled to hisui to help out there. he isn’t very good with pokemon or survival. he’s very kind and sweet, if a bit naive. the other members of the server really liked him and i do too, but i’m not really sure what to do with him after the fact.

cael aoyama: cael is my player character/warrior of light (wol) for ffxiv. i wasn’t sure what i was doing when i first made her but despite only coming into being last fall, she has some of the richest lore of any of my ocs. without recounting her entire journey, she ended up with a lot of my problems like struggles with communication and deep-seated insecurity. i wanted to write a character who wasn’t very “hero-like” externally but had a strong sense of internal goodness. cael has a cold and serious exterior, but as she has grown, she has learned to be more trusting and more hopeful!

mnemosyne (“nemmy”): nemmy is cael’s azem which mean’s absolutely nothing to anyone who isn’t familiar with ffxiv lore, but in the simplest way possible, they are cael’s past life. they’re a lot more outgoing than cael, but suffer the same core struggles with communicating their feelings, something that eventually leads to having massive impact on what happens after they die. they’re another person who is trying the best they can with what they know, but is ultimately flawed.

I've been having thoughts about Fire Emblem Three Houses/Hopes before game timeline, as in, how old Rhea and Seteth and the other Nabs are?

Someone else might have already figured this out, but I've not looked because I don't know what search words to use, and also I want to babble

So in Hopes we got that cutscene/flashback at the start of a battle showing the Nabs fighting the Agathans, and they all look exactly the same then, 1,000 years ago, as they do now in game.

So with that, I think it's safe to say that they age a fair bit slower than humans do.

(There's also the Arval paralogue, where the only difference is the hair colour, but I'm willing to go with a crack theory of Arval being colourblind or something. Or that fight was before the other one and they didn't discover hair dye till afterwards. Made from moss, I guess?)

But anyway.

Seeing as they didn't age at all in 1,000 years, it must have taken a fair bit longer than that for them to go from being baby to adult. Possibly 2-3,000 years? Probably closer to 4-5,000, or more for Rhea and Seteth?

(Unless, and sorry for the tangent, unless another theory I have is right and Sothis didn't birth her children, but instead gifted powers to some of the human habitants of the world which then changed them into Nabs, kinda like how the Agathans "gifted" crests to Edelgard and Lysithea, and originally the 10 Elites. They had to get the idea from somewhere, right?)

But even if Sothis' children were converted humans, Flayn is next gen, and thus was born-born. So she at least has definitely grown from baby to vaguely teenage, which takes time. How much time is the question though. Because I don't think she'd also be several thousand years old at the war, because she doesn't seem that... Dunno how to phrase it. So I'm going to say she's maybe 200/300, and that the healing sleep doesn't age you, and then it takes a while after you wake up before you start aging again? Meaning she's due a growth spurt in the routes where she survives?

Another tangent, but I have to wonder what Seteth's plan was for that. Because while fine, adults don't change appearance all that much after becoming adults, teenagers do? And he's brought her to a school. Full of teenagers who are all growing. Was the plan to never let past students come back after they graduate? Hope that none of the staff who work there their entire lives notice that "Hmmm, that young Flayn hasn't grown an inch in the last 50 years"?!? Stay a year or two, then go away for a month and bring her back with a new hairstyle and claim it's her cousin??? What was the plan Seteth?!?!?!?

Ahem

So yeah. Working on the basis that the Saints were several thousand years old at the time of the war, that means that Sothis had landed in what is now Fodlan several thousand years ago, and had been ruling for a long time.

Which means we have:

- Sothis landing

- Sothis "having" children

- several thousand years possibly of Nabs living in relative harmony with humans?

- Agathans deciding nope and beginning their experiments (I swear I read somewhere that they started human experiments in order to get the same powers as the Nabs, but that might have been fanon?) or otherwise starting their rebelllion

- Sothis being horrified and stopping them

- big war where Agathans nuked Fodlan (possibly when those land masses from the Abyss book got wiped out?) before getting driven underground and Sothis did her "heal the land and make more people" thing before going to take a nap

(Which, as an aside, probably took a fair bit of time. To heal an entire country is going to take a bit more than a few psychics, and I know Sothis is capital P Powerful, but still.)

But all of that is a lot of time between Sothis landing in Fodlan and Nemmy showing up! Which, as the next point, wouldn't have been straight away after Sothis went to sleep. It would have been years, if not decades of silence from the Agathans before the Nabs believed they'd been wiped out and relaxed their guard on Sothis' resting place

Epi is in there... Somewhere. Doing weird experiments and making Arval. Was obviously around for the Hopes paralogue battle, but I'm thinking he got killed before the battle with Nemmy from the Houses opening battle scene? And I headcanon that Epi was the person behind the implementation of given humans crests. Because if it was common knowledge that any of the Agathans knew/could do, why were they still needing to experiment 1,000 years later with Lys and El and failing at it?

And then after Nemmy got to her, she wasn't turned into a sword overnight. That would have taken, what. Weeks, months? Sword of the Creator was the first relic, right? Unless... Unless it wasn't? And some other poor nameless Nabs had been nabbed before and experimented on for the Agathans to get the weaponfication techniques down?

And then when Nemmy had the sword and went to turn Zanado red... I doubt he got all the Nabs who became relics in one go. It probably took several months or years of fights and raids and ambushes to whittle the Nabs from thousands to just 9 (Rhea, Seteth, Flayn, Indech, Macuil, and the 4 Apostles. Possibly Anna?)

(Nice bit of angsty fanfic waiting there, pov of one of the Nabs who later became a relic, seeing all their friends get killed, then in the next fight feeling them in the weapon across the battlefield being used to murder their mutuals, and knowing they might be next, and then getting captured and meeting the "hero" who was going to wield them)

Also, when did Rhea start founding the Empire? Was it in the time between Sothis healing the land and Zanado, meaning she already had an army ready to go after Nemmy? Or was it after Zanado, and she was scrambling to defend what was left of her people?

Everything after this point is a little easier, since Nemmy died at year 0, and then Garrag Mach was finished in 85, and etc etc etc

But it's all that stuff beforehand that's making me wonder, just how old is Rhea? And how old are Thales and Solon?

Copy pasta: My fave is definitely the final fic in the Earth-197320 series. This was asked a couple times so I'll say a different thing in each ask about this WIP. (See my recent posts in the #answered tag for others).

Reason number 2 that this one is my favorite WIP is that I've built several side plots into the overall story. It's been a labor of worldbuilding love and I'm excited to bring them all together. Indeed I think one of my favorite reveals that's coming is something that I can't remember if any reviewer has ever brought up, but it's a loose thread that I hope will surprise everyone in a good way.

💗Is there a scene you can’t wait to write for a WIP?

Oh yes! So it's again in the last fic for the series (which I've tentatively named Above the Shadows). There's an... action scene. I've written most of it but the ending can be more Marvel comedy or it can be more dramatic and angsty. The outcome is the same, it's all about deciding the tone of it. I'm not 100% sure how the ending should go so I'm basically waiting for my beta Nemmy to have enough time/energy/excitement to catch up with the rest of the fic to get to it and advise me. She has to read like through 20k words to get to the scene though so it's real work.

I am leaning one way over the other currently but yeah that feedback will help me fill in that spot and then continue to fill in a few other spots in the fic. But there's plenty of other things I can write in the meantime.
