Watercolor Pieces (by me!) for RSL

These are the paintings that I was able to gift Robert after Saturday’s performance of Betrayal.

Theaters from top to bottom (left to right): The Old Globe, The Lyceum, Lincoln Center, Neil Simon, Schoenfeld, and Regent’s Park Open Air.

The last painting includes his birth flower (burgundy colored iris) and four other flowers to represent his wife and girls. The hibiscus represents Gabby, then the violets, poppies, and roses to represent his daughters.

Love the groovy music that plays in the background throughout the short-lived sitcom Barefoot in the Park (1970-71).

Abgesehen davon, daß es ganz lustig ist, daß Maggie Smith für die Rolle der aus London zur Oscarverleihung angereisten chancenlosen Schauspielerin einen Oscar gewonnen hat, ist California Suite in vielerlei Hinsicht erschütternd nicht lustig. Wenn sie und Michael Caine, wie im zugrundeliegenden Theaterstück, alle vier Geschichten als 2-Personen-Stücke gespielt hätten, hätte das wahrscheinlich schon sehr geholfen.
