Looking good
No, this isn’t a knackered old geezer giving you beauty tips, although I do find it strange that people desire so badly to be thin that they end up looking all jowly, wrinkly and turkey necked, like way too much skin slung hastily over a skeleton… eurgh! Anyway, where was I? I find it really hard to understand this need so many people have to be perceived as a good person, to be patted on the…

I don't want to see them turn out like me and my siblings. We may look like we have everything together, that we are kind and gentle and happy. But we are bastards, uncaring and foul mouthed. We are conniving ungrateful youth who never had a chance to grow up. We fill our mouths with bile and feed it to you on silver spoons. We put ourselves before everyone yet in front of no one. We have nothing to lose and nothing to give. We live and feel nothing because this was what we learned as children, this is how we were raised. We can take and take and take and not feel guilty. We can gather affection from the edges of saws and we can pull love from the frayed edges of other people. We take anything we can get our filthy, disgusting hands on. We will sit by ourselves for hours on end because we find peace in dark corners and away from prying eyes. We can tell what you are feeling from the slightest movement from your feet or the way you do your tasks. We can pull your strings and turn you inside out because we watched how it was done at young ages. We are defined by the raw emptiness in our eyes and the fake art pieces we plaster on our faces. We are filled with static that we can shape into whatever we want to better fit our selfish needs. We want love and will do anything to get it. Please don't let them be like us

About Evil teenagers antagonists in Miraculous
I currently wonder how can some fans still want a redemption for somoene like Chloé who willingly hurt people just because that's was her definition of "fun".
Why not accept Chloé as somoene evil ? Just because she's 14 years old ? Just because Gabriel was worst than her doesn't take away the fact that Chloé is a truly bad person who has the potential to become as evil, if not worse than Gabriel while growing up.
Even in real life, adults are not the only ones who are capable of cruelty and crimes. If only adults were capable of monstrosity, I wouldn't have 14-year-olds killing each other with callache nikoffs in the drug trafficking districts of my city. we wouldn't have young people beating up little ones and pushing others to suicide and absolutely not regretting their actions. And we wouldn't have stories to raise eyebrows about kids capable of committing murder and acts of torture without necessarily having been abused in their lives.
To me, anyone who loves to make others suffer for their own sick pleasure (and their victims are people who objectively don't deserve such cruelty) has serious mental issues and can be a danger to others.
Both Chloé and Lila love to make others people suffer or don't care about hurting innocents, and they certainly don't feel any empathy for anyone, or in Chloé's case, no longer feel any empathy (she may have felt sympathy and empathy for Adrien at some point, like during the episode Felix in season 3, but that's definitly no longer the case as soon as Adrien asked her to stop being a biatch). Maybe Lila may feel a form of attachment toward her mothers, yet that doesn't stop her from manipulating them and fooling them in a way that's pretty cruel if you dig deeper in Lila's scale of truancy and imposterization.
I know that technically when a 14 year old kid behaves like Lila and Chloé we could say to ourselves that it is unfair to give them no chance and to condemn them when they are only 14-15 years old and could change for the better if they could be guided on the right path.
But Miraculouse is a show in which the superheroes with the fate of the world in their hands are 14 year old kids. And as such in this fictitious reality, other 14 year olds are perfectly likely to become real cruel and threatening villains i without any scruples, especialy if they are influenced by the wickedness of an adult supervillain.
And I believe that Gabriel's evilness only made Chloé's and Lila's wickedness worse.
He put those two girls in positions of power where they could hurt others and act according to their darkest and Manichean impulses. And Lila and Chloé would only want more taste of that power to crush others. And you know how power easilly corrupt the most greedy hearts.
On several occasions, Gabriel even approved of Lila and Chloe's horrible plans and actions. He has encouraged Lila on numerous occasions to "get rid of" Marinette, thus giving the impression that he supports Lila's jealousy, and during collusion he will have the nerve to say that Chloé's ideas, which consist literally ruining the academic future of your classmates and putting your pregnant teacher in jail for no good reason are good ideas. Having a rich adult in a position to approve of their actions in this way will only have given Lila and Chloe the feeling that their acts of cruelty and malice are justified, and thus reinforced their evil nature.
On several occasions we have seen Chloe and Lila voluntarily let themselves be akumatized, and worse than that, we have seen them plan to be akumatized (Chloe in Penalteam, and Lila in Revelation) and not for understandable reasons like that of a desperate Jalil brainwashed by lies on social media. Because Lila and Chloe have only ever been motivated by their narcicism, their ego, and their desire to get revenge on people they hate for the most pettiest, vain and selfish reasons possible.
Lila and Chloé may be kids, but they are evil teenagers, because they would gladly become supervillain if that means getting what they want. And what they want is anything but noble. For their selfish goals, Lila and Chloé were willing to endanger the city they live in and all its inhabitants. I don't even know if I can still call Lila and Chloé kids or teenagers, with how far they're willing to go and hurt people for the sake of their ambitions.
Although there's still the possibility that Lila may be an adult with a youngfull appearance or a hormonal abnormality making her look like a teenager when she could be an adult. But that would risk making her a pedophile so I don't think the show will go that far ^^ At most they could give her the same as Théo Barbot
But an antagonist adult would be needed then to balance an antagonist teenager supervillain.
Good thing we still have Tomoe Tsurugi then
It's tragic that Chloé and Lila wickedness and evilness could be due to serious mental issues or Chloé's bad upbringing, and the show may have decided that it's more important to protect others from the harm Chloé and Lila can cause rather than to prioritize "helping" them with their issues. Both Marinette and Adrien proposed another path for Chloé to chose, one that could have helped her heal from the emotional and mental wounds her mother's abandonment and neglect. Chloé instead chose Hawkmoth's/Monarch
Ladybug offered Lila her friendship, and Adrien also offered Lila to be there for her as long as she didn't hurt those he loved. Yet both Lila and Chloe voluntarily chose to continue committing bad deeds and hurting others, regardless of the fact that someone reached out to them and offered them another path to get love, acknowledgement and recognition from people. Adrien and Marinette don't have to sacrifice their mental health for people who wish them harm, so I understand very well that it wasn't and won't be their priority to help Chloé and Lila find potential redemption. And especially when Lila and Chloe seem determined to refuse to change and continue to cling to their wickedness.
It should be the adults responsabilities to deal with Chloé and Lila issues, and unfortunatelly the adults in Miraculous are pretty lousy and incompetents. It's very tragic when we don't know that one kid is a psychopath, and if another has always gotten away with his narcissistic behavior disorder and nothing had ever been done to help them deal with that issue, that only leaves the opportunity for the seed of evil in these kids to germinate and flourish, and then reach the level of nastiness that is more often found in adults.

With neither Heaven nor Hell supporting you, how do you have enough money to survive without relying on miracles? Also... could you instill the urge to get into therapy and be honest inside certain narcissists? Because... they're people, they deserve the help they need to heal, but everyone else deserves to be free of narcissistic abuse.
We can still do miracles. We just have to be sneaky with it. I'll see what I can do about the narcicism stuff. - Crowley

What a vampire is not:
Tumblr media
A sociopath, although we may be indifferent on certain issues or have a morally grey perspective. This is a serious mental health condition and not a buzzword that should be thrown around to define something you fear or dislike. Same with narcicism (below).
A narcisist, although we value and love ourselves. In folklore vampires can't see themselves in the mirror so they had to develop self love in other ways.
A murderer, don't let true crime and Satanic Panic miasma poison the well. Yes, in folklore they were murderous stinky, disease ridden blood drinking monsters, but we've evolved. Don't let our past kick us in the ass (yes, a Blink 182 reference!).
A sexual predator, no means no, maybe means no, only an obvious and excited yes means yes. Consent is key from feeding to sexual intimacy. In folklore, vampires had to be invited in, remember?
An immortal, only if science gives us the tools to extend life, we die like everyone else. Spiritual immortality is an uncertainty and is largely based on ones spiritual beliefs.
A cult member, although we may be part of communities of like minded individuals, we worship no human nor god. I have been involved in a very real cult and am still healing from the trauma of it all.
A roleplayer, yes, they exist and they are part of the community. Being that the original public Vampire Community was based on Vampire the Masquerade, and other fictions, it only makes sense it would attract roleplayers, but not all of us are.
A Satanist, although I am a practicing Satanist, that is my personal choice. Vampires have a variety of religious and spiritual beliefs, some going as far as using the concept of vampirism itself as a spiritual practice.
What a vampire is:
Tumblr media
A condition, where we need human lifeforce to sustain us. This need can stem from a variety of issues from medical, psychological, or spiritual.
A magical practice, where lifeforce is not a need but a way a witch may utilize human energy as a catalyst for their ritual. Some may use it as an offering in place of blood.
A philosophy, where life is meant to be lived to its fullest pleasure and potential. This philosophy can stem from a magical perspective or a mundane, LARP perspective.
Conclusion and note on Otherkin and Alterhumanity
Tumblr media
Vampires are still humans, we just have a set of needs and desires that make us different. Some may consider vampirism as a kin type, the vampirekin, but I personally do not.
I am not, nor ever have seriously been involved, with otherkin nor alterhuman specific communities. I am in shared spaces with otherkin and alterhumans and have no issues, but I do not consider vampirism and otherkin or alterhumanity mutually inclusive.

11. how comfortable is your muse with their appearance and their body?
Honestly?
Spamton thinks he's disgusting. He hates everything about his current appearance, from the material he's made of to all the seams and joints that let him move. He hates how sharp his facial features are, he hates the dots on his cheeks, the way his eyes go all googly, and most of all he hates that stupid fucking grin carved on there.
But on the other hand, he does practice good upkeep on himself. He might be hideous, but he's not run down. He keeps the dots on his cheeks freshly painted, polishes and buffs out scuffs and scrapes on his plastic, replaces by hand any doll hair he loses, etc. He's learned how to keep dolls looking nice.
In public and at home, he does what he can to keep his arms, legs, and torso covered. The most he'll show of his more obvious joints are his hands and elbows, maybe his chest plate, if he rolls up his sleeves or takes off the jacket.
... and he does go without an undershirt in the suit, so there's at least a little bit of narcicism left in there.
12. does your muse get flustered easily? how would they typically react to compliments from someone they are interested in/dating?
Depends.
A general compliment on his actions/skills is just gonna inflate his ego and put him in a great mood, but multiple in a row might fluster him enough that he can't quite get past all those [[We Interrupt This Program To]]
Compliments on his appearance are what really get him, since he thinks so little of himself. Enough of those from the right person would probably knock him out cold, assuming he doesn't explode from how red his face gets.
13. what traits does your muse value in a romantic partner?
Understanding and patience.
Spamton is aware that he can be... a lot. He struggles to control his volume when he's excited or upset, his words might r4nd0mly [Mix &Match Deals!!], he might lose track of reality or start blurting out whatever his train of thought is dragging along...
Anyone he's with would have to be able to handle that part of him. They need to be willing to read between the lines if they want to understand half of what he says and try not to take it at face value if his words end up having double meanings.
Brad's doing an amazing job, as far as Spamton's concerned!

Anybody else getting really sick of jokes about "narcicism" and "gaslighting"? And the excuse is often "I'm joking about it because those words are overused nowadays and that makes light of the real thing" and yeah that might be true to an extent, but anyone who ACTUALLY experienced those things would never think it's funny or joke about it, so something tells me you have another reason for telling people to stop using those words...

If your abuser acts normal with their friends & boss and can hold down a job without issue, they're not mentally ill, they're just abusive.
This goes for female abusers too btw.
A mentally ill abuser might be more dangerous in the same way that a drunk one is - they are less likely to think of or care about negative consequences. But it's not mental illness or booze that causes abuse, & therapizing them just gets you a healthy sober abuser. (And overall the mentally ill are more likely to be victims of abuse)
Abuse is based on *entitlement*, on ppl genuinely believing they're justified in doing anything to get their way - of course sexism can be something that fosters & validates ppl's entitlement, but anyone who's ever seen a Karen video knows entitlement is not the sole province of men.
Gay or lesbian relationships do not have lower abuse rates and studies show that it's a lot less asymetrical than frequently shown. And of course everyone knows that mothers abuse & girls bully.
The human animal doesn't hunt its prey with its muscles, it uses it brain or tools and women are obviously capable of that - most abuse is based on intimidating someone & destroying their self esteem, in other words psychological terror.
Most importantly this "narcicism panic" (which will definitely be remembered as a kind of modern victorian vampire panic) is just indulging & validating hypervigilance & the idea that ypu can split ppl into some "safe" and "non safe" category by superficial characteristics. So is suspecting everyone of one gender.
To heal you must GET OVER your hypervigilance not tell yourself its rational. This is the same impulse that makes ppl loathe all immigrants after seeing a single one do a crime. Completely reducing ppl to categories is brainrot.
It's also wanting to believe that only "defective" people could do terrible things, which like.. is just not true, banality of evil & all that. Ppl abuse cause it gives them advantages, you bully someone enough you always get your way. That's perfectly rational (if morally repugnant)
Abuse is a moral issue not a mental health issue. Ppl choose to do it cause its easy and pays off, like every other kind of tyranny.
there was a tiktok I made a while ago basically saying "your abusive ex boyfriend is more likely a misogynist than a narcissist" and while most people agreed some said I was victim blaming(?) and that I couldn't know what their ex is like, and while obviously I don't, every fucking person describing their narcissistic ex is describing a typical misogynist. ask yourself, is this behavior you associate with narcissism directed at women or does he treat his male friends the same way? is his general functioning in life impaired?
many people don't seem to know this, but a mental disorder is NOT based on symptoms alone, it's based on how much the symptoms actually impair you in daily life. most people could look at a list of mental disorder symptoms and identify either themselves or someone else with them. as far as a narcissistic personality, we all know people who appear more self absorbed than others, but this is typically subclinical narcissism (presence of narcissistic traits without significant impairment of functioning) which is not a disorder. there is also a misunderstanding of what npd is. a narcissist is not a supervillain invincible to emotion. npd is a defensive reaction to trauma that lead to deep insecurity and fear of being seen as weak or vulnerable. so narcissists aren't actually "in love with themselves" at all and often are diagnosed when seeking help for other issues such as substance abuse resulting from their struggles.
this focus a lot of abused women in online pop psychology have on narcissism is particularly concerning because it completely glosses over misogyny which is literally a huge factor in violence against women. people really only know misogyny as a surface level thing. they don't know it can lead to family annihilation, for example, and is one reason most family annihilations are committed by the husband. it's always "this man is a sociopath" "this man is a narcissist" when the man's behavior is driven by ideology. I am so fucking tired of everything being tied to mental illness and left at that. you know what this leads to? courts "fixing" abusive men by...giving them anger management therapy. guess what? it doesn't fucking do anything because the problem isn't mental instability leading to anger, it's targeted, purposeful abuse. we are getting nowhere

I need help to figure out if it is a piece made up by my brain during sleep or if it is an actual show/musical I remember slivers of.
It is about someone surrounded by winged, wingless fairies, different kinds of fairies and other magical beings. I think MC was your standard typical winged fairy. Her kind was ruled by someone who sorted the folk into classes and she managed to be more of the upper middle class while her parents were lower class.
She wanted to bring peace and make the ruler disappear. She had turned her back to the fairies in her class to secretly meet her parents and plead for them to leave so they won't get hurt. Unfortunately she was seen visit her family (she wasn't allowed any contact with them) and had to run.
During her time escaping the grasp of the ruler she got to meet other beings (winged mermaids, normal mermaids, elves, trolls, in my dream earlier ther were Sonic the hedgehog and some other crossover characters which were definitely not in the actual thing if it was a show and not my imagination)
In the end, she and the friends she made along the way rose against the ruler who had an artifact that would release a very strong spirit, allowing the ruler to face the rioting people. The end is something like they surround the ruler, claiming that even if the wind would rip through their wings they would fight and win (likely with the power of love and friendship or something)
They win and then it sort of cuts off. I remember in my dream asking my mother desperately for the name of the show/musical and it was something like "fairy of the wind".
It was not the first time I had this dream but this time (although I am rapidly forgetting a bunch of stuff it had in it as I am typing this) it was very detailed and made sense during it's runtime in my head. I do have reoccuring dreams a lot but this one felt so familiar for me having dreamt of it about twice before last night.
The feeling was if you mixed wonderland, wizard of Oz and Studio Ghibli with a fairytale like story with actually some murder (a couple fairies who disobeyed had to deing poison in front of everybody before she met her family secretly), unhealthy personality traits from other characters like manipulation, liying, narcicism, etc. But in a very gentle dream like way of telling the story.
I also dreamt about Yu-Gi-Oh but with him piloting a mech and other pilot souls stuck in his big ass pyramid necklace who help him and partially take over control of the mech. That would change the eyes of the robot and kind of show how strong and how much of a threat the mech is at that moment lol
But I literally would do anything to see if that I described above is in an actual movie/show (I remember knowing the first of like 4 movies to be stuck in my head the most but the whole story took like 4 movies according to my dream self)
I remember in another dream having seen a book I could have sworn was real but it didn't exist (or at least not with the title it had in my dream) and it made me so sad because knowing the contents of that book in my dreams was so dear to my dream self. I don't remember the title anymore tho. It's been like 5 years since I last had that specific dream...
I just think my dream experience of seeing the show was so comforting and nostalgic idk man I just have to share and give it a try or I might actually try and write that as a book so that it can actually exist...
Thanks so much for reading
