hii! i’m so glad to have found a WHOLE ASS TUMBLR BLOG full of fanart for shane/emily! i’m new to the game and took a liking to them when i realized they were one of the default bachelor/ette pairs. but i never saw anyone talking about them… so yeah, very glad to have found this lil community of people you gathered that DO ship it! we love sunshine x grump :)

Hawu'li visits her, but rather rarely. - Never met his father, nor know anything about him. It's uncertain if he even knows he has a kid. Siblings: - 2 older brothers, Hawu'a and Hawu'to. Hawu'a lives back in Shroud and hunts for a living, while Hawu'to is a researcher in Old Sharlayan. - Grand total of 5 older and 2 younger sisters. Abilities: Strong affinity with healing magic and the ability to hear the elementals, making him a formidable white mage. When situation calls for destruction rather than healing, he's also well versed in the art of summoning, and has been known to call upon demi-Bahamut when feeling truly desperate. Hobbies: Cooking, reading and singing. Also likes to mend stuff (patch holes, fix broken furniture) and read stories to kids (usually his sisters')

Most Positive Trait: Seemingly endless positivity. For someone who's job is to kill gods and see people get hurt on daily basis he's somehow still sure Things Will Be Better, and that deep down everyone has the potential to change for the better. Most Negative Trait: Separation anxiety. From some deepest parts of his soul comes a crippling fear of being left alone. At it's worst, he'll go into full blown panic attack in fifteen or so minutes after losing sight of others. At it's best (mostly after EW) he'll survive with only Carby as his company for almost half a day.

Isn't that the whole point of leaving a book mark public? So people (your friends and followers) can see what you've read and why? I'm so confused by this notion that people either

a) can't speak about writing in private chats because the writer deserves to know how the readers feel if it's positive (despite the fact book clubs(even for free to read and public domain items) don't invite the author in to allow the members to feel more comfortable expressing thoughts without the pressure of having the author hear them)

or b) aren't allow to publicly state how they feel about a piece in a space MEANT for them to do so, because some authors read what exists in those spaces and it makes them feel bad.

Like idk personally all my public book marks are intended as recs of some of my top fics (that I'm comfortable sharing) with random thoughts tagged so I personally wouldn't tag like this publicly but like... there's no reason people can't use a feature as intended. Just because some authors don't like it, doesn't change the fact that there's no rules or established etiquette against it. This is kinda just a fact of using ao3. The options are either to not look if this kind of user bothers you or to not post to ao3, but it's a public site and if someone wants to summarize how they feel about something they gave their time to, that's their business.

౨ৎ YOICHI ISAGI — goes viral on tiktok when the two of you go on vacation to celebrate your second year anniversary. you're recording yourself from the bathroom of the private villa he rented out for the two of you, and you originally wanted to record what an absolute joke the sink is. there is literally no counter space. nowhere to place any of your makeup or skincare products. yoichi interupts the video unknowingly, knocking softly and asking if he can come in. he doesn't realize you're filming, and it's entirely genuine when he asks, "is everything okay? you sounded frustrated? did you need help opening something?" you laugh before explaining the situation, and he's silent for all but one second before he goes, "oh! i'll just hold your makeup bag, and i'll hand you the stuff when you need it." (poor yoichi means well, but he's standing there for over an hour as you laugh at him when he can't tell the difference between a tube of lipgloss and liquid blush. the look of concentration on his face as he nods intently while you explain what each product is for is absolutely adorable; it's the same concentrated look he gets when he's reviewing game footage, meaning he's taking this seriously for you.) he's also the type that loves to follow you around. it's a common joke for his fans to comment "walk him like a dog, sis!" on any candid photos of you + yoichi because he is almost always holding your hand while trailing behind you. he's like your shadow as he follows you around different stores in the mall, and even when you tell him he can just sit down with the other boyfriends while you just try on some clothes, he refuses to leave your side. tries to follow you to the dressing room, and gets all pouty when he realizes he's not allowed in. makes you walk outside the dressing room with the new outfits on so he can rate them (he is incredibly biased and believes everything looks good on you and forces you to bring everything to the cashier so he can swipe his card to get it for you <3)

౨ৎ REO MIKAGE — cannot handle anyone else taking up large chunks of your time, especially when he rarely gets to see you during game season. makes a face anytime he realizes that the server at the restaurant is a guy. the server will smile at you and tell you that he'll get started on that meal for you right away, and reo leans forward once he's gone and goes, "i can't believe he was flirting with you right in front of me! disgusting!" he's actually convinced that every man in the world wants you for themselves, and if you tease him by threatening to run off with any of these men, he'll instantly frown and start telling you to take that back right now! however, he is entirely convinced that you are the greatest thing to ever grace this earth, and he feels so proud whenever you two are out in public and a fan or an employee compliments you. they could say anything postive about you, and he'll beam with pride, going "i know, right? i tell her this all the time!" it's almost common knowledge that the easiest way to get on reo's good side is to treat you well. he also loves listening to you gossip, and is the type of boyfriend who loves all your friends (even if he can't quite remember their names; it's only important that they treat you kindly and loyally), and hates everyone that you hate. he's also less forgiving than you; if someone backstabs you but you forgive them and grant them a second chance, just know that reo still hates their guts and he'll make it incredibly obvious.

౨ৎ SEISHIRO NAGI — can’t help but make video game versions of the two of you any chance he gets. he’ll pretend to not notice the way your eyes light up when you pass by any claw machine containing plushies of your favorite anime characters, but somehow he’ll manage to find himself at the machine, casually winning you your favorite as if the game isn’t designed to make everyone lose. (he’s just that good.) even if you’re not as big of a gamer as him, he’ll watch you play sims 4 (and subsequently watch you spend 3 hours on the create-a-sim section because you’re trying to create a perfect carbon copy of the two of you.) looks for his favorite hoodie only to glance over at your still-sleeping form on his bed and realizes that you’re wearing it. you look adorable in it; he’s taller than you, bigger in every aspect, so the material swallows you up. (he doesn’t wake you up nor does he ask for it back.) despite the fact that he’s taller than you, nagi is definitely a big baby, and is constantly the little spoon. he loves to come home and bury his face in your neck, loves the way you gently run your fingers through his hair (it’s the easiest way for him to fall asleep), and he’ll constantly try to find ways for you to hold him.

౨ৎ RIN ITOSHI — grants you “scary dog privilege.” literally will mean mug every man in the street as the two of you are walking together. everyone thinks that rin would be a selfish lover from his outside appearance, but he surprisingly puts up with a lot of your antics because he loves you so much. you don’t bother buying a step stool because you count on rin to get you anything you need from the tall shelves (and when you’re mad at him, he’ll purposely find ways to get all your most-used items on a hard-to-reach area so you have to sulkily seek him out and ask for his help. there’s no way in hell you put your face wash on top of the fridge, and rin looks all too happy to grab it for you.) he has a very bare social media account and most of the time, he just posts whatever his publicists draft up for him. the only post he has personally created and shared himself is the one of you on your birthday; in a sea of promotional posters and professionally taken game highlights, the smiling faces of you and rin stand out. (it’s the happiest any of his fans have ever seen him look.)

౨ৎ RENSUKE KUNIGAMI — his teammates make fun of him because he is notoriously loyal to you. they tricked him and took him out to a strip club, and there’s a viral video of kunigami staring intently at his phone, never looking up once at his surroundings. (he was going through your instagram feed + then ran out of photos to look at, so he started going through his camera roll to look at pictures and videos of you.) is the boyfriend who embodies the phrase ‘wear whatever you want, baby, i can fight.’ there’s a photo of you two that did numbers on pinterest. kunigmai is such a big guy, towers over you, honestly, but he readily gets down on his knees for you. in the photo, you two are dressed up to attend a gala. he’s on his knees, and you have one high-heel clad foot resting on the top of his thigh as he looks down and is adjusting the ankle strap of your heel for you. his friends shared the photo in the team groupchat and called him a simp, but kunigami knows that if they had someone half as great as you, they’d act just the same.

The flaws.

──★ substance abuse.

it's no doubt (almost) every leon struggles with using alcohol abuse as a way to cope with his issues. even if he's trying to quit. when he's drunk, he gets irritated easily. he's also really dramatic. and clingy. He's impulsive, and you'll have to scold him constantly when he does something stupid or unsafe. And don't get him wrong, he think you're beautiful, gorgeous, stunning even, but he can't get it up. So expect lazy soft sex with him if you guys have sex at all. Another part is he comes home at late times from drinking at bars at early times of the night. And he's so loud so he wakes you up, you can hear loud bangs, cursing, etc. His drinking also always leads to bed rotting to the point he has food everywhere, and bottles of whatever he wanted at the time scattered on his floor, trash, clothes, it's just bad. On a more postive note, he does quit shortly after the events of vendetta, it takes a lot of convincing himself to go but that leads to another set of challenges, since he's suffering from withdrawal, but during his time quitting, he goes to AA meetings, and therapy to find other things to cope, he even gets a sponser (his name is ken, he loves him), and if it gets really really bad, he'll go to rehab, then a wellness center where the nice nurse ladies will take off him, and he'll play uno with the rest of the depressed people. he honestly loves a hospital setting, he loves feeling taken care of. And as of death island, he'll have been sober for 8 1/2 months. So good for him.

──★ ptsd.

Another thing you might have expected. Leon's life hasn't been cupcakes and rainbows since his parents died. But Racoon city takes the cake for him. In some re6 documents, it talks about leon wanting to commit suicide, but didn't to protect Sherry. After RC, he has nightmares, panic attacks, and sometimes his fears can make him be irrational, like worrying about everyone being the sick, or worrying if his job is watching him to see what he's doing. However, his job makes it easier for him to bottle and mask (autism, hear me out please) his emotions until he's considered "safe", so rarely will he ever act out at his fears, but you can always tell his secretly freaking out. His hands get terribly sweaty, and he always seems to jump at loud noises. But, just you being there is nice to him. He loves being able to see alive, it relaxes him or something. So when you're cuddling, he'll listen to your heartbeat and hearing you breathe. Which eventually helps him fall asleep into an actual peaceful slumber. When it is considered safe to him, he has a meltdown from masking his emotions for too long. He is more sensitive and easily annoyed, and gets overwhelmed by things he normally wouldn't find annoying, like pen clicks, bright lights or his pants feeling weird, like why do jeans feel like that? it's like a mix of burnout and masking coming to him.

── .✦ forgetful.

leon is the perfect boyfriend, who doesn't forget anything. And that is true most of the time, most of the time. He's very present, he knows everything about you, your favorite movies, favorite songs, shows, etc. But he forgets holidays, easily. It's probably his work schedule. He works so much, even on the holidays sometimes, so to him, it feels like a regular day. And he rarely checks calendars. It could be valentine's day, no gift, nothing, and when he realized, he gets now why you're ignoring him and acting so weird. He also forgets chores, rarely ever helps around the house, which is frustrating. Never had to help clean as a kid, cause a nanny or maid always did it for him. He gets irritated on why you're pissed at him for not doing the dishes. Like he did them last saturday! He think he's helping but he isn't. However, if you tell him, you feel overworked with doing everything, he tries doing chores more often on his days off, and you'll come back to a clean house. that won't happen again. sorry.

── .✦ boring and old fashioned.

leon likes mundane things, things most people find boring and unfun, and it will get worse the older he gets. he likes watching the news every morning, waking up and going to bed early, etc, etc. because he's old fashioned. he will have the same phone for years and won't think about changing it until it gets destroyed. he will judge you for getting a new phone even when your old one still works, or "buying something you don't need".

like i said in the forgetful category, he is good at remembering everything you tell him. Just not holidays. But he'll remember everything you tell him, for example, when you're shopping and he sees you stare at something to long. He'll buy it for you, oh you like this flower? Here's a bouquet of them! Oh you like this style of clothes? Here's a store full of them and he will be carrying the bags.

The Park Siblings (Huntlow Kids)

I decided to group their renders together yippie!

Graham and Poppy are twins but Graham is the oldest ever so slightly. Oliver is two years younger.

Hunter and Willow decided to each name one of the twins when they found out they were having twins. Willow named Poppy and Hunter named Graham. They both decided on a name for Oliver.

The three kids have vastly different magical power levels. Poppy is very powerful like her mother, Graham is naturally powerless like his father, and Oliver is average. Poppy and Oliver were both late bloomers, but Graham was found to be unable to cast any spells circles at a very young age so Hunter made him a palisman. To which Graham got the hang of palisman magic quite quickly and became a prodigy in it, (Although he overworked himself and was very hard on himself to be able to achieve it)

All of the Park kids mess with each other as siblings do, but Oliver does it the most and is the most lighthearted. While Graham and Poppy have a more serious rivalry at times. Graham often was jealous of his sister for her magcial power and the postive attention she got because of it despite not having to work hard, while he has to work his butt off and still barely gets recognized just because he's naturally powerless. (When Graham grew up he eventually learned to accept himself for who he was and not be ashamed of his disability.)

Poppy and Graham treat Oliver differently then they treat each other since is younger and acts more immature then they were at his age. They like babying him and teasing him in a more lighthearted way then they do with each other. While they all get along, Poppy and Graham are more willing to be nasty to each other then they are to Oliver if things get heated.

Poppy is a daddy's girl, Graham is a momma's boy, and Oliver is equally close to both parents.

DRDT Headcanons!! (1/idk)

Decided to post some headcanons for various characters!! (there might be some mild projection on my favourites lol) idk if i'll do more for other characters?? Also, sorry for less Teruko HCs,,, i meant to do 5 for each but uh,,, you can tell who my favourites are i guess??

Also, disclaimer, these are headcanons!! I wrote these before Chap 2 Part 2, they may be disproven and become out of date in the future!!

Ace:

He grew up on a farm.

His parents had a ton of kids in the hopes that at least one would be successful. Whoever got the best test results/ won an award/ has the highest salary (based on age, idk how old Ace's siblings are) was the favourite and showered with attention.

This meant Ace and his siblings grew up willing to literally and metaphorically shove eachother face first in the mud to be the favourite child. There was a lot of sabotage, insults and threats constantly.

He struggles to form meaningful friendships due to trust issues.

He'll hold a grudge for years. He probably still despises and talks shit about some kid who stole his chair when they were 6 or something.

He used to love animals until one day he woke up and the world was more terrifying than he remembered. The comforting bark of a dog is now a horrifying sound that sends him spiraling with panic.

He's overly sensitive to light and sound.

He chews his lip, bites his nails and scratches his arms/wrists when bored or uncomfortable. Maybe that's why he always wears gloves, to do less damage?

Nico:

Sometimes when it's too much they'll go non verbal. They're fluent in sign language as a result.

They sometimes judge the things people name their pets. They'd never say it out loud but they think certain pets have really stupid names.

They struggle with tone, often coming across as sarcastic and fed up when they're being genuine.

If they get postively overwhelmed (like flustered due to compliments etc.) they make cat noises instead of speaking (like meows, chirps, etc.). They find in really embarrassing.

If they are in a downward spiral, they'll grip something (their cloak, hair, a soft toy, etc.) and just hold on to try and ground themselves.

Nico took a couple skirts from the dress-up room to wear in private.

In a non killing game au, they'd join Rose in painting more frequently. They end up preferring watercolours though.

They may have a journal where they might talk shit about certain individuals in the class.

Teruko:

Despite her trust issues and bad luck with relationships, she's a romantic at heart. It may take a while for her to admit her feelings but she'd like someone to give her flowers and take her to dinner just as much as anyone else.

She likes horror films because she can experience the thrill without being in danger. I think she'd also like those rollar coaster simulators since an actual rollar coaster would probably be too dangerous with her luck.

She loves sliced cheese because she can avoid having to cut cheese with a knife. Similarly, she'll spread spreads with a spoon because it's less risking than with a knife.

Due to constantly moving, she owned a couple of those plastic picnic sets (the plate, bowl, cup sets) and had to wash them frequently. As a result she's secretly super grateful to Hu and Eden for cleaning after meals because it's one less thing to worry about.

She had to remind Charles to seperate his dark and light washing a couple times, even after the initial explanation of washing machines.

Levi:

He's on the Asexual spectrum. Like he'd never consider it himself but if his partner wanted to, he'd be comfortable with it because he likes making his partner happy.

He's usually trying to keep the peace but he will argue with friends or customers if they try to pick/buy a god awful outfit.

He worked at a boutique before becoming a personal stylist. He kept giving customers unwanted fashion advice that made their outfits the talk of the town. Word spread and after a little while people started showing up for the advice.

Does not understand humour or sarcasm at all.

He's fond of baby animals but would never hold one out of fear of hurting it.

In a non killing game au, he'd probably find out peoples fashion preferences so he can get them suitable clothes as presents.

He's probably the only cast member to politely listen to Veronika's rambles without wanting to throw up. He'd probably get roped into movie nights after Arturo and Ace triple locked their doors to avoid such movie nights.

Various people have caught him raiding sweet foods (sometimes even just eating sugar straight out the bag) at like 3am on multiple occasions.

SB’S VIEW OF OTHERS

SB is much more critical of other dissenters than they are of normal grunts, so they approach characters like doc, deimos, and other fellows with more judgment than they do to Sanford n such

DOC: They respect how good of a leader he is to SQ. While they don’t really care about the goals of SQ and just want a place to stay and a job to do, they respect the work doc puts into it and how managed it is. SB came from the most poorly managed aahw facility ever, so this is an incredibly appreciated aspect of SQ and doc. They respect the grind pretty much. Doc being a dissenter that got his shit figured out is another thing that SB thinks is commendable. But once they learn about Hank somtimes working with SQ, they get very upset with doc and feel almost betrayed. Especially when they aren’t even told why Hank works with them. They act all pissy and silent treatmenty towards doc for awhile untill they are given their ultimatum to either act normal about Hank or Leave SQ, and they react like a kicked puppy. It does not feel good to have one of the few guys you respect to be upset with you, but they are still very unhappy and mad about the Hank ordeal. They get all quiet and suck uppy for a brief moment because they feel bad. Things do go back to normal pleasent terms eventually, but it takes awhile.

SANFORD: Sanford isn’t a dissenter so SB feels no sense of camaraderie or tension with Sanford. They just know that he does missions well and dosent have any mistakes come back on mission report documents. They think of him pretty neutrally, but would vouch for the guy in a postive manner if they had to.

DEIMOS: ooo someone’s a little jealous ooo. But only a little. SB views deimos like a guy that is carefree, has a life set up well, and has a good buddy to go along with (Sanford). Compared to SBs situation it feels like Deimos got the Good Ending to being a dissenter. SB dosent hate Deimos for this because he seems like an alright guy that does his work well, but they do feel a bit of envy. It’s contradictory of SB to see Deimos as a dissenter with his life more in order than him and feel jealous, but to see Doc in a similar position and feel respect for him. He never realizes this.

HANK: AM hate speech etc etc. SB really really hates Hank. Well, they at least think they really hate Hank. They can’t tell if their hate of Hank is real or not and that frustration alone makes them project even more anger towards them. Ontop of the preprogrammed aahw feelings towards Hank that SB has, they also just project all their lives gripes and poor experiences onto him too. Their bad dissenting experince? Wouldn’t have happened if Hank wasn’t around to make the agency exist. The awful conflicting emotions they feel and how it’s tanking their rapport with SQ? Wouldn’t haven’t happened if Hank didn’t work with SQ. Their dislike of Hank spirals far beyond just negative feelings towards another person, as it prominently eclipses with their struggles with their identity that they never properly addressed untill Hank appeared at SQ. It’s a convoluted mess that makes it incredibly hard to tell what part of how they feel is real or attributed what aspect of their life. After a longg time they just hate it a normal amount. (They can bear to stand in a room with it and they only side eye glare a little! No teeth clenching, fists balling, shaking etc. now! Improvement!)

HOW OTHERS VIEW SB

Interaction is sparse to none between SB and most of the cast so there isn’t much for them to go off of or care about. Doc is the only one to know them by name.

DOC: To Doc SB is a bit interesting due to their unique status of being a mish mash of soldat and engineer. They preform their job well in a unique way due to their faulty training, so it would be a loss to have to fire them. So when SB starts acting up and being a concern, Doc is annoyed with them and gives them the ultimatum hoping to smooth things out. SB appears to be losing their shit a over it but does seem to be at least trying to get better, so doc just pitties them a little. It’s frustrating for them to act this way, but it is an understandable situation. Beyond the occasional tip or check in, Doc just kinda shrugs and lets them work it out on their own. He’s pleased to see it’s fine in the end and just has a normal boss and employee thing with them.

SANFORD: SB is just a guy they see at HQ somtimes that acts kinda weird. He isn’t doing anything bad so shrug wheteva.

DEIMOS: Deimos sometimes notices them staring at him and then they awkwardly pretended like they weren’t. He has no real opinion on the guy but they look a little funny so that’s something.

HANK: They aren’t even aware of SB. Even if he did know about SB and his hatred, it wouldn’t care at all. This is the most one sided relationship possible.

Kristoff Vernard will be headlining an event series for One World Under Doom!

Victor's adoptive son, Kristoff, has been nearly absent from print comics for over a decade, having only made a single-issue appearance in 2019's Doctor Doom. His relationship with his father, has had its ups and downs, but on the whole, he's remained loyal to Doom and Latveria. In 2022, Kristoff appeared in Marvel's Voices Infinity Comic, where he defeated an evil future version of himself with help from Nate Richards and Cassie Lang, who Kristoff is apparently dating. Kristoff resolved, once more, not to let his father dictate his choices, but he's apparently still loyal to the throne, as Superior Avengers will see Kristoff assembling a Latverian superhero team on his father's behalf.

Marvel included design pages for each member of Kristoff's new team-- these "Avengers" are all named after past villains, but as far as I'm aware, they're all original characters. Unless he's the one behind Abomination's mask, we haven't actually gotten a look at Kristoff himself, but I'm curious to see what he'll look like-- there's been some inconsistency with his age, but he should, logically, be in the same peer group as the Young Avengers.

I'm concerned about his overall treatment, as well, since continuity doesn't always carry over between the Marvel Unlimited platform and print comics. Steve Foxe, who's writing the series, is one of the few who does it well, but that run of Voices was a few years ago now, and it wasn't his project. I'm fond of this character, and I think that keeping up with his kind, sympathetic treatment not only makes him a good foil for Victor, but sheds some light on his and Latveria's more postive attributes-- something I think will be very necessary during this event.

even when cassandra was corrupted, she still ruled over parts of her domain, right? as the nightmare king, the forset of the nightmare king was perpetuily in a state of twilight and mistery/doubt. i'm wondering if ankarna was a god of [a time of day] and [a feeling].

let's look at real mythology for a second here; gods in mytholgy got married all the time. a popular example: persephone and hades. persephone means "distroyer of man" and hades was a "ruler over death". it makes sense that they would be married; their ideolgys are very closly aligned. they had other side things too; hades was the god of wealth, and persephone was the godess of spring, but parts of their religon aligned, and you would often see them depicted together.

so what if when cassandra's follers all agreed to abandon her, (as we learned they did in season 2) the depictions of her and ankarna together were lost or distroyed with them. what if this marrige ment that in losing all of her followers, his followers were also lost, becuse they were worshiped together. they were depicted together. when she was corrupted, he died, and the reson we didn't see dipictions of him was becuse the gods worked together to distory his name (and likeness i would assume.)

anyways, if cassandra was still residing over her domain when she was corrupted, i feel like this leads to the idea that ankarna would still be residing over his domain even in this "can not die but effectivly dead state." Maybe, like emily said, she was twilight, and he was dawn. she was rage, and he was doubt, which correlated in beliefs and worship.

also, apparently in sweedish, "arkarna" means "the anchors". i don't know how accurate google translate is, but it's not something to sniff at. brennan can be batshit sometimes (postive) so who knows what could be a clue. to me, i think of the 24 pointed stars, who can be an anchor of pepole's rage. witch seems to come from arkarna's corrupted god self. so, there's that. we are running off of no sleep and crack theorys here pepole. break out the riz conspirsy bord.

I'm curious, how does the Cinderpelt/heart thing work in this AU? Bc Cinderpelt seems very happy to me /pos! And may I offer up something... (Totally disregard if I'm over stepping!!) Ivy and Dove being Sand and Cinder's kits instead of Whitewing? (Don't get me wrong I love Whitewing but I can see Ivy being pulled by her Great Aunt to the Dark Forest and Dove being guided by her grandpa, which tears them apart more.) I love older couples having kids when they feel ready. Like they waited until they knew the time was right.

And I would love to answer the offer with postivism but that is spoiling the rewrite of Sandstorm's Quest and I need to finish it before giving a thumbsup or down to the question, but I want you to know that's a great idea that adds a lot of angst, maybe the prophecy of "Kin of your kin" wasn't even about Firestar's kin, maybe even Spottedstar's.
