nayeon is a prefect, of course, she used to be the head of house but chungha succeeded her after nayeon decided to focus more on her studies

headcannon that nayeon and chungha are are lowkey besties

they don’t talk much, but they respect each other and always like to have nice chats about the school

but other than her leadership roles, nayeon is like the older sister of the gryffindor house

sort of has no idea what’s going on sometimes but tries her best because everyone asks her for advice

cries at graduation because she loves hogwarts so much

ends up working at the ministry of magic

she’s so perfect help🥺

a beater, always protects yeji and she loves it, always getting flustered over ryujin

got her patronus, a black bear, within a few minutes after learning the lesson

and everyone was like 👀 but honestly not that surprised, because come on it’s shin ryujin herself!

shows off her skills (in everything she attempts) all the time and everyone loves it

in general very well liked, her vibe is so comforting and realistic, and she always says the rights things

throughout the school, chae is known for her adorably caring personality akin to a hufflepuff along with her wisdom

her aesthetic, as i said, is light academia and she pulls it off so well

organizes all the chants at quidditch games

the gryffindor common room is in absolute chaos whenever she’s present

has a black cat with the exact same personality as her

one time it ate her ramen and boy was she mad

but the cat, who was named orange (despite not being orange) really liked the noodles

so jiwon convinced sihyeon to let her make feline-friendly noodles for the cat

which sihyeon agreed to

because seeing orange slurp up a bowl of noodles really makes her day

is professor mcgonagall’s child

i mean not literally, but still

eunji has been taken under her wing

in fact, she actually taught mia how to be a metamorphmagus

eunji managed to turn into a badger

which wasn’t exactly enjoyable at first, since being a badger doesn’t have many benefits other than being able to dig a hole faster than anybody you know

however, eunji used her badger form as a way to relax, because she could escape from all her problems by turning into a woodland animal and going to take a comfy nap in some flowers

her friends were ecstatic when she told them she had become a badger

e:u immediately made her morph into said animal so she could give mia a hug because fluffy

accompanies jiwon to the kitchen most days and prevents her from getting bored with her antics

these “antics” involve things like crouching on the counter next to jiwon and crunching down on carrots

to which jiwon just shakes her head and pulls the carrot right out of her mouth

loves the toads! she has a speckled one and treasures it with all her heart

steals jiwon’s pastries to feed to them

serim is also always in different places

she’s completely unpredictable, moving all around the school throughout the day

you can’t find her in the same place twice (except for the kitchens)

everyone thinks she’s part fairy because of this and her compassion

spends all her time daydreaming while looking up at the sky from the observatory

i don’t blame her, it does have an exquisite view and even sports a bunch of cushions and blankets on the floor for the sole purpose of taking naps in the sun like a cat

anyways, yoorim is lost in her head most of the time

but always takes a trip back to reality during the day, where’s spotted encouraging her friends 24/7

and laughing nonstop at them

(especially sihyeon)

because while she’s a ravenclaw, loved ones are the most important things in her life

joins aisha in her imagining sprees up in the observatory

but gets bored and leaves to go sneak into the slytherin common rooms because she wants to spot the giant squid

who she has made friends with from her constant trips to see it

its name is jerry, for anyone who’s wondering

the slytherins have adopted her as one of their one

because she now has a massive posse of people ready to protect her from anyone who would dare to make her sad

actually didn’t bring a pet and now regrets it

but she’s busy so she wouldn’t have time to care ofr it

and the fact that her toad escaped as soon as she came through the door

which resulted in school-wide panic

they found the toad luckily

well, it actually came running back to hyewon

for some reason, it actually bit her! which made her laugh

the devious amphibian apparently had a habit for escaping, which hyewon learned about after multiple attempts from it at running away

which never worked

because hyewon would get so sad and said toad would feel bad

thus meaning it would turn around and bound back to hyewon

immediately fell in love with hogwarts once she saw the great hall

one, because it was full of food

and two, because it’s so pretty! and the starts reflect on the ceiling! and magic!

tried to bond with the sorting hat

and it most likely worked because she is choi yena and can do things like that

a social butterfly without realizing it, everyone wants to talk to her all at the same time and she is b i g s t r e s s e d

helps with homework even if she has no idea what she’s doing

it aides her in picking up the subject because no that she’s having to explain it it clicks in her mind

surprised the class and left everyone open-mouthed with her quidditch skills

had no idea she was so good, but after a while begins to take a lot of pride in her talent

the sorting hat considered slytherin for chaewon, but decided against it

which may seem like an odd combination, but it wasn’t uncommon

befriends all the slytherins and has them head over heels in love with her

same with the gryffindors

in fact, chaewon doesn’t know actually know many hufflepuffs, she’s always gotten along better with the other houses

joins vivi in at night whenever she’s in the astronomy tower

has an admirable amount of ravenclaw friends and has practically become one at this point

goes in the common room all the time because she can figure out the riddles

smh their security system really isn’t that good

becomes obsessed with random subjects

has a different best class every year

comes up with her own spells

hogsmeade weekends are her favorite :(

and minju stuffs herself with butterbeer every time

eunbi’s the only person who can keep her in check

but nako really takes the cake

because no one can look at her adorable smile and not think she’s the cutest human to ever exist

drew on the walls of the hufflepuff dorms because she accidentally drank a potion yuri had been brewing

which caused her to go loopy and delirious

eunbi was summoned and forced to tuck nako into bed so she could sleep it off

lights up the room whenever she walks in

everybody swears that the candles actually brighten whenever nako appears

almost fainted when she first saw it because of how pretty it was

ravenclaw only wins the house cup if hitomi has a good year

doens’t get anyone in trouble though

but no one takes any chances because they don’t want to disappoint her

jumps 10 feet in the air if you interrupt her magic

makes you swear to never tell anyone

but it’s happened to everyone so at this point it’s just common knowledge

a beater for gryffindor and goes beast mode whenever ravenclaw is playing

because for some reason they make her eye twitch

even if she’s friends with a bunch of them

she’s still just BIG GRR

spends all of her itme in the gryffindor common room

greets everyone when they come in

is on a first-name basis with the entire school and no one knows how she can remember them all

and she’s so sweet to people? how does she deal with it

whenever she comes in the room there’s a chorus of “ahn yujin, the woman, the myth, the legend!”

thought the common room actually had badgers in it

and was extremely disappointed when she found out they didn’t

haseul felt bad seeing wonyoung’s sadness and invited her on a badger hunt

they found two

and bonded with them by feeing them food

i don’t know what badgers eat so i won’t specify

but the badgers followed the two home and now the hufflepuff house has two pet badgers

wonyoung takes great pride in that accomplishment

even more than when she (effortlessly) won the triwizard tournament in her sixth year

super into astronomy and astrology

will stare at the stars all night

has seven telescopes and has no shame

seems quiet at first, but the ravenclaw dorms are always filled with the sound of her laughter (even at 3 in the morning)

daydreams in class all the time

and is confused over everything

but still makes it through with her sweet personality

fell off a broom the first time she ever got on one

because she was so busy watching the instructor that she didn’t realize her head was tilted so far to the side that it unbalanced her and caused her to slip off her broom

snako right here wanted to play quidditch her whole life

but sadly, she wasn’t too good at it

however, yves soon realized her true talent transfiguration

seriously, she can change anything into anything

zapped lippie into a mouse one time

professor mcgonagall was not happy

just kidding she was ecstatic and gave sooyoung a detention to teach her how to perfect her skills on turning people into mice

just not jungeun

holds a grudge against the gryffindor quidditch team but won’t ever admit it

but everybody knows

but it’s okay, because sooyoung can get away with anything (and no one wants to be turned into a mouse)

famous for winning the triwizard tournament

because first of all, she didn’t even want to apply, yves and heejin had forced her to as a joke because there was no way she was going to be picked

but low and behold, she was picked

and somehow managed to win every task with pure luck

(and an ungodly amount of encouragement from chuu)

this has made everyone scared of her

which she doesn’t mind a lot of times, because it’s nice to be left alone

and she can easily filter out peole she doesn’t want in her life

but still

to people who aren’t aware of her winnings

she’s about as terrifying as a duck eating lettuce

overworked as the head of house but deals with it because she loves taking care of her fellow puffies

i miss her so much

was on the quidditch team at some point

she can’t remember when

third year maybe

her first four years went by in a blur

she was so enveloped in her studies and loved learning about magic with all her heart

100% got a job at the ministry once she finished her seventh year

there was zero question when choosing the head of house for hufflepuff

everyone immediately nominated haseul

The Scary Ravenclaw TM

no one messes with her or her posse

a beast at magic has legit something like an 8.0 GPA

everyone’s like jungeun that is hecking impossible

not for her apparently

whipped for all the hufflepuffers and is known to trudge into their common room whenever she’s grumpy

because she knows at least sixteen people will volunteer to hug her

(preferably chuu is in that group)

denies it though

like heck no i hate hugs what are you talking about

the definition of a hufflepuff

was the talk of the school the first day because of how big of an impact her positivity and cheerfulness made

she turns heads and doesn’t even notice it😔

didn’t bring a pet, surprisingly

but steals everyone else’s

no one bothers to reprimand her whenever their cat disappears and is found cuddled up next to chuu

because honestly if i was a cat that’s what i would do

her patronus is probably something like a pufferfish

which she thought was the best thing ever

because “it goes poof whenever i stop the spell!”

A CHASER FOR GRYFFINDOR AND EVERYONE AND THEIR DOG IS WHIPPED FOR HOW WELL SHE PLAYS QUIDDITCH

acts like she struggles with school but is actually top of her class

spends a bunch of time with her professors because she loves talking to them

brought a toad

was so embarrassed at first but is now shameless

about the fact that yes, she does kiss her toad on the forehead before she leaves for school each morning

even if most of the time she keeps the toad in her pocket all day because she doesn’t want to leave it alone

spends all of her time with hagrid :(

there are multiple stains on the floor from when they’re drinking tea together and hyunjin does something that makes them both spit out their drinks in laughter

fang cleans it up though

the animals are her favorite thing

created a spell to remove fur/hair from her clothes because she gets bad allergies

steals whole loaves of bread from the kitchens

the cooks turn a blind eye

has eaten all the crackers in the kitchen in one go

no one was really mad (except for jiwon) because how could you be upset with her?

her crunchy voice is adorable, even if she’s lying and blaming it all on yeojin

does her own thing most of the time

loves watching quidditch

will go to the practices just to see people play, she’s that enamored

a HUGE fan of the chudley cannons

she turned them invisible shortly after that for another prank

but gowon exposed her

loves to sit in the common room and stare at the water in the lake

but always gets scared by people walking in

even though she’s used to it because it happens every 10 minutes

wanted to be on the quidditch team so bad when she was younger but now does not see the point she would much rather sit in the charms room and make up dumb spells with chuu

professor flitwick helps them

and always has cupcakes on handy

but she really has the personality of a ravenclaw :)

and she definitely brought an eagle/hawk to school

convinced everyone it was an owl

i mean no one really thought it was an owl because it obviously was a different kind of bird

how the heck do you take away someone’s bird and prevent it from going back to them?

and where do you put it?

that was karina’s plan

she knew no one could outsmart her

the riddle thingo at the entrance to the ravenclaw dorms was very proud of her

the sorting hat spent five hours deciding on whether to put giselle in slytherin or hufflepuff

i’m exaggerating but you get the picture

because she values all of the things that the houses represent?!

but hufflepuff was still the best fit

Brothers anon back again. I had a sort of writers block for the last like 2 days which made it really hard to do some questions, but I got em done finally. Sorry about the wait. This one is split between the numbered questions, and next ask is the other questions you asked!

I think I accidentally skipped a question in the last one. I honestly don't completely remember but in case I did skip it by mistake, the groups first travel out of the city's limits and even further beyond in a carriage. When they reach the end of how far the driver is willing to go they then get out and start walking. With Jackie screaming about how their finally going on a adventure.

1: It thankfully doesn't get to to bad before the others notice. And he immediately told them about Dream, wanting to be very clear with what happened and what they where getting themselves into. But they accepted him anyway and helped him.

2: Isaac is the leader cause Cletus is too much of a wildcard and too impulsive to lead safely, Charles is too shy to lead, and while Benjamin is perfect for leading he doesnt really like leading and is more of a follower than a leader. But Isaac can joke around and gets along with everyone but also be able to take things seriously and know when something needs to be handled.

5: They do not, they last for a few minutes and unless its a healing or regeneration potion (in which it can take a few days for it to fully go away) they have no long lasting affects. They do know of eachothers past to an extent, they know enough to avoid triggers and enough to know what not to do when around eachother. They know through telling eachother, and they feel awful Grievous and Jackie had to deal with that, but leave it in the past and focus on making their current life better.

6: Yes and no, while Jackie did mean to throw it at Ran, he ment for it to just hit nearby him, not directly hit him. It was ment to be more of a scare/intimidation tactic than anything else honestly. Grievous's luck is for basically everything, he has won the lottery twice before actually but only those 2 times, he's correctly guessed how many items are in a container more than a few times as well.

7: I use the height charts and they help mostly for comparison, problem is I have trouble applying it to real world stuff and because of that I still have trouble knowing if something or someone is to tall or short. Jackie can get very mean, like he can make fun of someone who just lost a loved one or experienced a traumatic event at the worst. But he usually doesn't get nearly that mean, most he does normally is making fun of how someone looks or how they do certain things. The others comfort him the best they can when he gets sad, and when he gets mean they either encourage it (Grievous), or discourage it and stop him (Watson. Ran is between either encouraging or discouraging it).

8: He was! He spent most of his life adventuring actually! He misses it somedays now since he lives in Subbin, but he believes giving up his adventuring life for a family and friends who needed him is a more than far trade and would happily pick his family over adventuring again. For around 4 years after Ran left Mizu (including the day he left), Ran traveled everywhere, and learned how to survive himself and taught himself different things, like sewing. Ran has made new socks, fixed clothes, and made blankets for everyone at least once. Watson also designs bows and arrows for show, for top functionality, and for just simple (training) gifts to the others. Ran (and Watson) has visited the nether, though Ran tended to stay in it longer than Watson cause he could withstand the temperatures better. And while digging a new tunnel across the nether he ran into ancient debris, which he then messed with until he figured out to mix it with gold and coat his sword in it. He tried to find more ancient debris but sadly hasn't found any, leaving his sword permanently damaged and at risk of breaking. Jackie isn't good at all at painting, its more of a hobby he's trying out. They try to camp out there at least once a week, where Grievous will sometimes build a pillowfort and either force everyone inside or play a game of capture the fort with them. Sometimes Ran will also read during the pillowfort nights, but not to often. Jackie wants to vist a Snow, Savanna, Jungle, Tagia, and if possible, a Ice Spike biome. He also wants to vist the nether but he'll have to fight Ran on that. Ran and Jackie's secondary titles are in Javanese!

9: Ran just kinda went "Hey Jackie, stand still for a second." "Ok?" And then he just picked him up and threw up.

10: When he's first given dinner after already eaten lunch, he just kinda stares at the food. Then asks if they meant to give him food, and when the others say yes, he asks why because he thought people only ate once every few days. His answer shocked the others and they ask him to explain, and he explains futher that he was only allowed to eat and drink once every 3 days. Their horrified by this answer but explain to him how theres 3 meals a day and he can drink whenever, he doesn't believe them at first but eventually accepts it.

11: When the fishermen first come to Ranbob about their worry, he expresses the same worry as them. But says that it's unlikely Ran will hurt the fishermen specifically, because Rans haunting are already friends with them, and Ran wouldnt risk breaking the friendship unless he deemed it necessary for their safety.

12: Ranbob is sad that Ran goes to such lengths to avoid him and keep people away from him, but he has resigned himself to it. As he knew that if Ran was alive it was greatly unlikely that he would trust him and knew he would be avoided. Which is actually particularly why he believes Ran will never trust him again and why he views Ran as a kind of lost family member. One he'll never get back no matter what he does.

13: Their first stop is a nearby flower biome, and after that Watson has planned to lead them to a waterfall he found with a shattered Savanna somewhat close to it. They plan to travel for a minimum of 6 months, they can actually travel for as long as they want to, but Prokius made them agree that they must be back before the next General Pit Battles (which happens once every 5 years).

14: He would 100% run himself into the ground until he's barely alive while searching for them. Benjamin compares Ranbob wanting to go back to Dream, to an abused person wanting to go back to their abusive lover. They believe they've changed and that they truly do love them and want the best for them, but in reality that's not it at all and others have to help them see thats not true and help them save themselves. So it doesn't surprise Benjamin or Isaac that much (it surprises Charles and Cletus though), and after its explained to them, their all more than willing to help Ranbob get over Dream and help him be himself again.

15: Oh definitely. Once they hear the Green-Eyed Enderman is back from hiding they all set out again, and after the group gets attacked and once word spreads that its in a group and there's another enderman with them, they all get targeted. With the Gladiators and Fishermen being targeted as bait or hostages to try to trick the enderman into following a trap. Ran wasnt affected like his brother was. Im talking about trauma and maybe even a bit of PTSD that came from Mizu, caused by Dream. Though both of the brothers have gained different amounts of trauma and PTSD from Dream. I may give the raven to either Watson or Ran, I think its fits both of them really well. I want to have them come across ruins of other Tales but im not sure which ones. Maybe they could find the remains of the Wild West Tale and the Haunted Mansion?

1: The perfect start to an Adventure. And a funny mental image. Imagining these two groups cramped into carriages is pretty amusing. How ready was everyone to get out by the time they could?

2: The fishermen are really great, and Ranbob is very lucky. I love them.

3: Isaac sounds like he’s a pretty good fit for it then. But nobody’s perfect! What are some flaws of his, leadership-wise?

5: Interesting. What makes Regeneration and Healing last longer? I suppose it’s not relative to the AU, but I am a bit curious. What’s the world’s potions mechanisms, if you don’t mind me asking? And that’s good! They may not know everything, but they know what to avoid, and that’s important. Everyone’s moved forward and are making the best of life, and honestly, that’s pretty cool of them.

6: Welp, Jackie, it seems intimidation tactic failed. However, you have managed to anger Ran, so..there’s that. He won the lottery? Dang. Well, if they ever need money, they can just send him to the nearest casino, I suppose.

7: Aight, so I may have a solution for you there. Whatever height you’re going for, find something in real life that’s just about the same height. Like a tree, or something. Or not, we can always just leave it at short enough to be tossed and tall enough to be the tosser. Jackie sounds like he knows where to hit to make it hurt, honestly. It’s good that they comfort him, though I am curious why they all react as they do to him being mean. Why does Grievous encourage it? And is it more of a depends on the day thing for Ran, or a depends on what was said to Jackie, and what Jackie’s saying thing?

8: Nice! What kind of places did he go? Does he have any particularly interesting knickknacks from that time period? And Ran personally sounds like he knows what he’s doing. Watson’s weapons sound really cool, where did he learn to make them? Is visiting the Nether not a common occurrence these days? Or is it simply that the others never got around to it before? Well, hobbies are always fun to try. Does Jackie keep at it and get better or get bored and try something else? How does Capture the Fort go with these guys, considering they’re gladiators? Why does Jackie want to visit those particular biomes? Is there a reason, or do they just sound cool to him? And why would Ran not want them going to the Nether? Because of the danger?

9: FDXGHJ- He just- tossed him?? No warning?? Oh my gods, I’m dying. How did Jackie react to that? Heck, how did Porkius react to that? I doubt anyone was expecting that display.

10: Oh, no. Now I really want to punch Dream in the face. What the heck, Dream?! He legit asks if they meant to give him food...If one of the fishermen or gladiators doesn’t eventually find a way to punch Dream, I will be forced to travel realities and do it myself.

11: Kind of sad that Ranbob was equally concerned about it. But hey! He won’t have to be, one day!

12: Poor Ranbob. I hope he’s proven wrong, eventually. Do the fishermen know that he thinks this? If so, how do they feel about it? Or does he kind of just keep those thoughts to himself?

13: Flower biomes are really pretty. What did everyone think about it? Did they bring any flowers with them? So this roadtrip could possibly go on for a few years. Did they leave just after a General Pit Battle, or do they have like, less than five years? Speaking of General, is Jackie still the General in this AU? Does he have extra duties because of it? Or is that not something that happened in this AU?

14: Yikes. Reactions to this? Why does Ranbob believe Dream’s changed, as you put it? Is Dream still able to talk to him, or is it because he just misses being there? So Benjamin and Isaac aren’t all that surprised about it. Do they take the reins in helping out? And how do they all do so? It’s good that they’re helping him though.

15: Well, this sounds like it can’t end well. They try to use the hauntings as bait? Is anyone actually captured? Rescue missions? And alright, that makes a bit more sense. I can see how they’d both be effected differently, and honestly, they’d probably both have very different perspectives of the event, all things considered. Ravens for the win! And it’d be really cool for them to come across the ruins of old Tales buildings. Can you imagine the kind of things they’d find? Diaries, faded photographs, moth-eaten clothes, blood stained floors...Like a walk in the past, but they’ll never know what came to be for the people of that time.

Your friends didn’t object much after that – Kiera, especially. She had been the one who suggested you confront Jaebum about his abrupt reunion with his ex, so you weren’t very surprised when she whispered an encouraging, “you got this!” into your ear as she walked past you and away from the table, leaving you and Suji alone.

“Look, I don’t know what you’re doing here but—” Suji had started to say once your friends left, but you shook your head, cutting her off.

You were done listening to her. It was time she listened to someone else.

“Look,” you said, your intoxicated mind not providing you with a very clear idea of what to say to her, but you’ve thought about talking to her enough times before to still know what point you wanted to make. “I defended you. Or, at least, I think I did. I got into a whole argument with Jaebum about you, even though, as I can see know, I didn’t know shit about you. I should have never come here – and I changed my mind about seeing you a million times – but here I fucking am, so let’s get this over with.”

“What are you—”

“Do not interrupt me,” you cut her off again, the alcohol giving you the much-needed boost of confidence to keep going. “I don’t know if you realize what you’re doing with Jaebum – and for the sake of what little respect I have left for you, I truly hope you don’t – but you need to stop this. You need to let him go.”

“I need to let him go?” Suji repeated. She was really unable to stay quiet for longer than a minute. Thankfully, her shock gave you the advantage of being the one with a semi-clear mind, excluding the dizziness from all of the alcohol you’ve consumed tonight, of course. “Why do I need to do that? So, you could be with him? Is there something going on between you two?”

You groaned, annoyed because she wasn’t getting it. “No! And that’s not the point!”

She was still very much puzzled, so instead of demanding your explanation, she waited for you to keep going. Perhaps she loved to talk and have control of everything, but, evidently, she also loved to argue. Had she been less oblivious, she would have made an excellent lawyer.

“Suji,” you said after a moment, hoping that tonight wouldn’t end up with you truly knocking her out with your fists because words wouldn’t work. “You’re a huge fucking bitch.”

You stopped for a second because she frowned, her lips parting in surprise, but you weren’t going to stay quiet for much longer because you knew she’d say something once she recovered, and you didn’t know how much longer you could use your drunk mind to force yourself to say all of the things you wanted to say to her.

“Not just that, actually. You’re a controlling bitch,” you continued. “You need to let go of Jaebum. You can’t keep reappearing in his life. You know he has no self-control sometimes and you can’t take advantage of that. You’re bad for him. No, hold on—you’re fucking toxic. And not just for him; for everyone around you. I mean, do you not notice the fake reactions whenever you start to speak? You’re selfish, you’re rude, and you are—for the lack of a better word—an absolute snake. You’re so toxic, Suji, that I’m glad Jaebum and I don’t own any plants or they would have died after you came over.”

You could feel yourself go a little overboard, but you’ve rehearsed this speech a hundred times in your mind – sans the curse words and the obviously unnecessary offensive comments, of course – when you first decided you were going to meet up with Suji in order to let her know everything Jaebum was feeling since he wasn’t able to do it himself. You knew what you wanted to say to her and you were going to say it no matter what.

Contrary to what you’ve imagined – you totally expected her to literally claw your eyes out – Suji had exactly zero emotions on her face after you stopped and you truly envied her in that moment – you knew your face was flushed from the drinks you’ve had before and from your outburst of rage.

“Wow,” was what she said once she finally opened her mouth. “I-I don’t understand where this is coming from. I think there’s a chance you got a little too drunk here, because Jaebum and I want each other, and we—”

“You don’t,” you shook your head. “He doesn’t want you, and you don’t want him, either. You seriously can’t be that stupid not to see it. You just want someone you can control. Since you have me now, you don’t even need him anymore. I don’t doubt that you would have texted him as soon as you left our apartment that morning, but you didn’t because I came along and you realized you could text me instead. I was fresh in your life so you chose to drag me around instead of him.”

Her voice sounded shaky when she spoke, “I don’t drag people around.”

“That’s exactly what you do,” you said, a little surprised once you noticed that she had been listening to everything you’ve said and she seemed to have heard you. “You kept texting me. I’m not kidding -- you literally did not leave me alone. You wouldn’t give up no matter how many times I said no and maybe, in time, you would have gotten bored of me refusing to see you. Then, you’d get back to Jaebum because he’s so easy for you to control. He has so many secrets and the thickest walls I’ve ever seen wrapped all the way around his heart and you’re the reason why. You can’t turn someone who was once open-hearted into someone who’s so afraid to open up, he fights off anyone who wants to get close to him because he’s scared it’ll be you again. You can’t take Jaebum for what he is and then turn him into someone completely different -- someone you want him to be. You can’t ruin his life by forcing your relationship on him. That’s just psychotic. Jaebum isn’t yours – and you have serious problems if you think he is. He belongs to himself.”

You were still standing but Suji hadn’t gotten up, so you were towering over her and, suddenly, when her lower lip quivered, you didn’t feel so comfortable attacking her like this anymore. You sat down to hopefully seem less intimidating, although you weren’t sure how you could have ever intimidated her.

“I’m—I don’t—I never controlled him,” she said, no longer looking at you.

You haven’t expected her to get so emotional about this but your heart was starting to hurt. She looked like she was about to cry and yet there was no way for you to go back from this. If you took everything you said back, it would have no effect whatsoever. You already couldn’t tell if her emotions were genuine or if she was just playing the victim, but perhaps there was a small chance that you’ve gotten to her. You had to keep going no matter how much it upset her – or you.

Furthermore, it was actually good that she was reacting in a way that made you feel pity for her. That meant you were less likely to hit her square in the jaw and spend your night at the police station, obtaining a criminal record.

“Hitting him when he took the job he wanted but not the one you wanted for him,” you started slowly but felt yourself give in to your emotions as you went on. “Locking him out of his apartment when he tried to break up with you. Even having him get rid of his cat because you didn’t like it… all of these are examples of how you tried to live his life for him. Fuck, how do you not think that’s wrong? That’s fucking terrible. I don’t say this often because I like to think that there’s some good in everyone, but, fuck, Suji, you’re truly a shitty fucking person. It’s—you can’t do this type of shit to him—to anyone. What’s the point of dating someone, if you lock them inside of a room -- a jail cell, essentially -- and then fucking force them to do everything you want? Where’s the fun when you make every decision for them?”

Perhaps you were the first person who called her out with concrete facts, or perhaps she just felt humiliated because your attack on her was so sudden and, frankly, so much more brutal than you’d intended, but Suji had tears in her eyes when she dared to look at you again.

You were starting to feel even worse. You wanted to let her know just how toxic her behavior had been but now that she seemed to possibly realize this herself, you wanted to step around the table and give her a comforting hug. But you couldn’t. You couldn’t because you were still so unexplainably angry at her.

The look on Jaebum’s face when he told you about the things Suji had put him through in all the years that they’ve known each other was what kept you in your seat. He’d avoided breaking up with her so many times simply because she always played the victim. And maybe that was exactly what she was doing right now with you, too.

You couldn’t apologize for your words because there was a chance you’d wasted your breath talking to her and she hadn’t actually heard you, she was just pretending. You couldn’t apologize because she never apologized for plainly dismissing all your friends have said tonight to make herself shine. You couldn’t apologize because far behind the tears in her eyes, you could still see her rage – she hated losing control of this situation so quickly that she didn’t know how to get it back.

And yet you still felt uncomfortable. You weren’t used to people manipulating you into taking the blame for simply telling the truth, but you kept your posture firm. You thought you’d made a mistake by agreeing to see Suji here – you knew Jaebum was going to have a fit when you told him what happened – but maybe this had to be done. You knew Jaebum would have never confronted her on his own. And maybe you were sticking your neck in his business uninvited – scratch that “maybe”, you really were doing exactly that – but you were trying to help him. You were angry and upset at her on behalf of him.

“Look…” you said when Suji didn’t reply with anything. “I’m not saying—okay, I did say that you’re a shitty person and, honestly, you are, I’m not taking that back. You’re very literally ruining Jaebum’s lif—anyway. This doesn’t mean you can’t change yourself. Maybe you needed someone to give you a piece of their mind because, clearly, you’ve lived your whole life getting free passes from everyone. We should all be responsible for our actions and I’m sure you know very well that what you were doing to Jaebum throughout your relationship wasn’t right. You never gave him the freedom to leave. Fuck, you chained him against his will. It really should have been him telling you all of this, but it’s me instead. And I’m sorry I called you names, that wasn’t very cool of me, Jaebum would have probably handled this differently, but I was—”

“No,” Suji stopped you, standing up and gathering her purse. She sniffled, wiping her eyes. “I’m going to go. Thank you for finding the time to meet me. I—I’ll leave now.”

She walked away from your booth without letting you add anything and without looking back at you. You debated stopping her – and even considered pulling her back by her hair but that wouldn’t have looked right for the people around you since you clearly had the upper hand because she was crying – but then decided that you’ve said enough. It was starting to get really difficult to keep on yelling at her when she was starting to cry, so maybe it was good that she’d left. You weren’t sure if she’s ever left like this before – Suji was always the last person standing – so, even if she wasn’t going to let your words actually phase her, maybe you’ve still achieved something tonight.

You couldn’t see her face when she left so you didn’t know if she wiped her tears and smiled instead, thinking of all the ways she was going to get back at you for everything you’ve said tonight, or if she genuinely listened to everything you’ve said and her tears were real. Maybe it was naïve of you – lots of things were, after all – but a big part of you wanted to believe that her reaction was genuine. There had to be something about her that drew Jaebum in, right? Perhaps it was her soft heart.

Then again, you didn’t know if Suji even had a heart. Jaebum knew her better than you did. But you weren’t sure if you’d ever ask him what was it that made him like her because you couldn’t see yourself ever admitting to him that, despite going back and forth on your decision to see Suji, you still followed your initial plan and met up with her to try and fix his problems for him.

“Fuck,” you whispered quietly, running your fingers through your hair. You couldn’t come up with a way you were going to get out of this without Jaebum throwing you out of the apartment, or without Suji sending trained assassins after you.

You felt even worse when your friends finally allowed you to leave the bar and go home. The alcohol was starting to wear off, so you felt the first hints of a headache tickle your brain and you were feeling extremely frustrated on top of all that. You’ve talked to Suji because you thought that was the right thing to do, and yet you didn’t feel better about anything. You’ve made her cry – but realized just how compassionate you really were to feel awful about this despite knowing Suji deserved to hear your words – but maybe you didn’t really make an impact tonight and it was all pointless.

It was half past two and the darkness inside of your apartment indicated that Jaebum had gone to sleep already. No wonder, it was Monday and he had to go to work tomorrow, after all.

Both bedroom doors were closed but you thought you’ve caught a glimpse of light coming from your bedroom, which could have meant that the street lights were flickering outside, or that Jaebum was still scrolling on his phone while he tried to fall asleep in a room full of your belongings.

Quietly tip-toeing now that you realized he might have been awake after all, you opened his bedroom and found yourself almost excited to sleep in his bed again. It had a comforting effect on you, but you weren’t quite sure how to explain it. You just knew that crawling into a bed that always smelled vaguely of him would help you forget all that had happened tonight albeit temporarily.

Not even bothering to change into something more comfortable or clean your make-up, you approached the bed, accidentally slamming your foot into the corner of it and then yelping loudly. You were sure Jaebum could hear you from the room next-door, but he didn’t respond so you exhaled slowly – trying to stay quiet – and lifted the blanket, climbing into bed. Immediately, you arranged your body into a fetal position – sleeping with all of your limbs pressed tightly against your body was the only way that allowed you to feel safe.

The moment you hugged your knees to your chest, however, was also the moment your legs touched something warm. Confused, you moved your cold – and hurting – feet again, and then heard a person hiss.

“What—” you started to say but, as soon as you turned your head to inspect what was it that you’ve touched, you saw Jaebum’s sleeping face on the pillow next to you. “Oh, fuck! Shit!”

You leaped up until you were standing on the bed, staring at him in horror, the blanket clutched tightly in your hands as Jaebum was startled awake when you pulled it off of him. Surprised and confused, he sat up, squinting his eyes as he tried to understand what had just happened.

“What are you doing here?!” you squealed, your heart beating rapidly inside of your chest. “You’re supposed to be sleeping in my room!”

“W-what?” Jaebum asked, his voice husky from the sleep. You’d have honestly melted at the sound of it had you not been so frightened and shocked. “Why are you here?”

“I just got back,” you said but that didn’t answer his question so you chose a different way, “I sleep here! You sleep in my room.”

“No—I got you the new bedframe,” he said and you just blinked, your mind empty. “I built it for you. It’s in your room.”

“You built—why didn’t you tell me?”

“I told you I was going to go get the frame this afternoon,” he countered in a tired voice as he lied back down, still watching you stand shakily on the edge of his bed, the gears in your mind finally starting to turn. “I had just left to pick it up when you went out. Remember?”

You realized that you did remember as you sighed deeply, slowly lowering yourself to your knees on his bed, the blanket all around you. Jaebum had even texted you about the crisis he was having when the frame didn’t fit into his car. All of that had completely skipped your mind.

“I forgot,” you admitted, falling back onto the pillow next to him helplessly. “I’m sorry. I was… thinking about a lot of different things and I forgot. Sorry I freaked you out by getting in here with you.”

He watched you lie down on your back.

“Are you drunk?” he asked then, surprising you.

You turned your head to look at him, slowly starting to make out his sleeping features once your eyes adjusted to the dark room. He was still squinting, a slight frown on his eyebrows, as he had a hard time keeping his puffy, tired eyes open. Mix that with the sound of his voice, and you were sure you’d have fallen in love with him right then and there if your mind wasn’t being pulled into twenty different directions.

“I’m not drunk,” you said, turning away to look at the ceiling instead. “I’m pissed.”

“That’s the same thing,” he informed you, not losing his wit despite being tired.

“I mean angry,” you explained, although he knew what you meant. “I made someone cry tonight and I don’t know if it was worth it.”

Jaebum was quiet for a little while, clearly not having expected the sudden confession.

“Did they deserve it?” he asked then.

“I think so,” you said. “But I still feel bad. I went there to take pictures of my friends having fun and instead of that…”

“Life has a funny way of working out,” he mumbled, sighing and then settling into his previous sleeping position again. He sounded like he wanted to keep on talking to you, but he was starting to slur his words, his sleepy state catching up to him.

You looked at him again and, this time, allowed yourself to watch his face for a little longer since he’d closed his eyes as he lied on his side, facing you. He looked so peaceful like this – all people must have looked peaceful when they slept, but you’ve never watched anyone sleep before – which was the exact opposite of what you were feeling. Even though looking at him like this seemed to calm you down, you knew you shouldn’t have been here. He’d built you a bed, you were no longer supposed to be sleeping in his.

“I should go,” you whispered, feeling the need to inform him that you were leaving so you wouldn’t scare him again.

But as soon as you lifted the blanket off of yourself and gently threw it on him, preparing to set your feet down onto the floor so you could leave, Jaebum extended his hand, stopping you. Almost gasping in surprise, you turned to look at him

“It’s fine,” he said sleepily. He didn’t even open his eyes. “You can stay here.”

A little confused, you allowed him to pull you back into bed until he felt you lie down next to him again.

“But my bed is—” you still tried to protest, even though you weren’t sure why you weren’t shutting up – the rapid beating of your heart was a clear indication that you did not want to leave.

“It’s fine,” he repeated, dropping his hand until it landed clumsily on your waist. “Just sleep.”

You were suddenly unable to reply as he sighed softly and shuffled on the bed, trying to get into a better position. You’d turned away from him – preparing to relocate yourself to the furthest corner of his bed to give him more space – but, as Jaebum got more comfortable, he didn’t remove his arm from you, unexpectedly turning you into the little spoon instead as he hugged you from behind, deciding that this was the only proper way for two people to sleep in the same bed.

You had a feeling that this was his way of comforting you – he was far too tired to use actual words, so he settled on using his actions and, honestly, it was so effective, you completely forgot about everything that had made you so uneasy before – and you didn’t protest; not that you could move much in his deathly grip. But you didn’t want to move. You felt like you were right where you were supposed to be.

Jaebum didn’t know what you’d done tonight - if he’d known, he would have never held you like this -- but you decided you were selfish enough not to tell him. You two would have so many cold nights to spend arguing in the future, there was no harm to use one night for comfort, even if it was wrapped in lies that could potentially damage your relationship beyond repair.

Within moments, you felt Jaebum’s breathing slow down as his close proximity and each of his soft sighs washing off on your neck made you shiver. He had his arm wrapped tightly around you as he fell asleep, unconsciously making sure you stayed in bed with him, and although you were afraid you were going to suffocate from how close he was to you, you truly never wanted to leave the bubble of safety he’d created around you with his embrace.

Maybe this was your last night in this apartment. Maybe this was the first and the last time Jaebum voluntarily got close to you. Maybe you’d never see him -- never feel him -- like this again.

You couldn’t risk these possibilities. You weren’t going to sleep tonight.

You were going to focus on every sensation you were feeling in his arms so you’d remember. Because if this was the last time you and Jaebum were at peace with each other, you never wanted to forget about it.

Request: hi!i just recently found your blog and to say that im absolutely in love with your writing would be an understatement & i was wondering if you could write a badboy!taeyong au? taeyong would be your typical bad boy: cold and distant with the exception of his close friends (aka nct), but his inner softie is unleashed once he meets y/n, a girl that he’s never really noticed but now has all of his attention on ;) thank you so much if you decide to write this! knowing you, it’ll come out incredible ♡ (YOU’RE SO KIND AND ILY THANK YOU FOR REQUESTING I HOPE YOU LIKE IT!!!!!)

lee taeyong was the resident bad boy in the area

sometimes skips class because he doesn’t want to be there, picks fights every now and then, even tags walls with his name because he has nothing to be afraid of

though he makes sure not to make a mess most of the time because he doesn’t like that and feels kind of guilty (only kind of)

most people see him as aloof and/or intimidating and don’t try to interact with him at all costs

sometimes the people that do for the first time end up getting shut down by short responses, he leaves saying he has somewhere to go or someone to see, or he sounds really monotone/uninterested and the other person gets kinda uncomfortable

always hanging around his friends instead of playing it lone wolf style

even if some of them aren’t like him and are the social butterflies or super popular and friendly kids he makes sure they’re well and safe

once got into a fist fight with someone because they made a snide remark about one of the boys and he would have been fine if it was him, since he doesn’t really care

but one of the boys? his boys? nuh uh, they had it coming

not really rough and rowdy all the time but can definitely handle himself

usually he talks the other person down if they’re picking a fight with blunt words, and on the rare occasion he might have to knock them down

doesn’t usually crack a smile but when he’s with the rest of nct he does it quite frequently and one has to wonder how a rough looking boy can look so........... soft

and that’s really up until he met you

he never really noticed many people in his classes

sure, he knew faces and stuff but names never really seemed to stick

the occasional john doe or jane doe would pop up in his head and he’d be like oh yeah i know them

but otherwise he’s just conscious of who’s around him but not really who

some kids he keeps tabs on because they’re the more physical of the troublemakers and people he chooses to steer clear from because they give him the wrong vibe

but some of them get the vibe that he thinks he’s better than them or just looks down on them

which leads to a whole bunch of drama and more than a few times taeyong has had to patch himself up in secret so the school won’t find out or his friends and family

the last thing he wants to do is get anyone involved in this mess and he really hates it

the others never complain about being beaten up by him because they always managed to land a few fits but it also hurts their pride to admit that he’s tougher than them

used to completely avoid conflict with them but they kept persisting and cornered him and wow did he show them

regardless he hates having to physically fight people and keep it to himself

i can see him knowing how to fight in close quarters and knowing how to box, or even kickbox

but (kick)boxer!taeyong is for a different time, hm? ;)

but he knows that using it for...... this is p bad and it just makes him more frustrated which ends up being shown most of the time

most people often play it as that’s how he is normally

and most of his friends see it as his defense mechanism to not communicating with them or that’s just his personality with strangers

he loves this and hates it

because people won’t be involved with his problems......... but they’re not involved with his problems and he has to bury it all inside

usually this causes him a lot of stress and to relieve his stress he likes to be by himself and wander and roam and just think

most often this is the reason why he skips class

the most recent scuffle left his knuckles kind of scratched up, and he knew if he told his coaches or his friends then they’d find out about him fighting

so he still trains and keeps scratching up his knuckles

but this enough stresses him out because there’s a chance they won’t heal soon if he keeps this up and if someone notices, because it’s not that hard.............

so he takes a walk

he’s on school grounds still because his friends try to convince him to keep attending school and just work, because they know he can probably graduate as valedictorian if he wanted

but they don’t want to lose him and see him fall

as he’s walking through the halls and thinking about his friends and his fiasco, he sees one of the guys who always picks a fight with him

he starts to turn around because right now the last thing on his mind is getting into trouble when he is trying to get his mind off it

but as his luck would have it, trouble always seems to find him one way or another

the guy calls out his name and is pretty mad about getting a black eye since their last fight and the only thing taeyong got was another winning fight

taeyong sighs because hhhhh there’s no running away from this guy

once taeyong turns around he sees the guy is actually a lot closer than he thought and is rearing up to punch

but it never comes

in front of him there’s a girl standing there with her body recoiled and flinched, but she stands in the way regardless

when she sees that the punch never landed on either of them she unfolds completely and gets all up in his face saying

‘i don’t know if you have any beef with him or something, but do it after school. i will not stand by and watch you attempt to pummel this guy like you want to.’

both guys are shocked because a small girl? you? is yelling at him? notorious troublemaker x and not only that you managed to weasel your way in between the two without them realizing until just in time???

and......... you were defending taeyong? also notorious troublemaker???

taeyong is about to smirk because he gets his way again but you turn on your heel and start pointing fingers into his chest

‘and you. don’t tell me that you meant to get hit just to use the excuse that he started the fight, hm?’

taeyong never wants to admit but he finds that kind of........ kind of hot

plus this is the first time that someone he didn’t know ever stood up to him without cowering before him

to be honest, you knew who he was but never really............ cared

he was just a guy and this was just how he was no biggie

as you finish this out and the two get over their initial shock of someone telling them off the other guy turns red and is like

‘um i have business to attend and i don’t need some random girl to tell me what to do’ he says and he jabs a finger at you

you’re not having it at this point and are like ‘go take a walk’

‘go take a hike’ and he tries to shove you past and get to taeyong

but the second you see his hand coming up for a rough maneuver, you smack his arm out of the way and deliver a killer hook to the jaw with your other hand

it’s not enough to knock him out, but it’s enough to send the dude to the ground and enough to daze

the guy is quickly about to get up and taeyong shields you but is also ready to run if he sees the opening

quickly, when the guy glares at you and starts moving to get up, taeyong grabs you and starts sprinting and is just like gogoggogogo dunno where but go fAST

so you’re running and looking for something while the guy is just rounding the corner

so you dash into the bathroom and you can hear him running fast and he sounds mad but you’re glad he didn’t know you ran in there

‘yeah, i’m glad too’

you feel a hand over your mouth and you see taeyong shushing you quietly and you’re just like

he followed you into the girl’s bathroom nice

and you’re just staring at him like whTA RU DOING IN HERE????

but you whisper this because you know the guy is probably gonna circle back any minute

and taeyong is like r u blIND I HAVE NO WHERE ELSE TO GO

against your better judgement, you just........ let him crouch near the sinks with you and sit there in silence

taeyong keeps taking glances at you while you refuse to look at him

and he sees that it’s not because you think he’s scary

you’re just awkward that there’s a guy in the girls bathroom and he’s looking directly at you and ooh that stray toilet paper on the ground is interesting and less awkward oooh

taeyong eventually gets bored and is like........ ehh this isn’t that bad

he starts shifting around for fun and looks kind of dorky and is he reciting the alphabet in a rap???

you’re about to let out a huge snort when taeyong gets to the end of the rap and taeyong is like i’ve just confirmed i found a new friend

‘it smells bad in here’

‘what did you think it’d smell like, genius???’

taeyong shrugs but he has a small smile and is like ‘idk i thought all girls would maintain the bathroom better than the guys do’

you snort and cover your mouth quickly when you hear footsteps outside, but when they pass you just go ‘pffft no i’m p sure the farthest stall over there hasn’t been flushed’

taeyong quietly sighs and starts waving the air under his nose

‘i wanna leave’

this prompts the both of you to slowly peek out of the door and you both look opposite ends of the hall to see if anybody is around

because the last thing you guys need is to be caught by a teacher, the guy you were running from, or some random passerby who’d get the wrong idea

as you’re peeking out you see the guy standing there, huffing and typing rapidly on his phone

his back is turned to you and it doesn’t seem like he’ll be moving for a while, so you get taeyong’s attention and he turns and sees what you’re looking at and is like !!!???................ >:))))

and the both of you slowly sink back into the bathroom and i swear it’s almost like it came out of a cartoon afkljsg

but taeyong is heading into one of the stalls and you can hear the sound of him taking a bunch of toilet paper out and he just keeps going and going and then rips it off and hands you a bunch and is like

‘soak that pls, make sure it gets condensed into a ball’

you just listen to taeyong while he gets more and you’re thinking to yourself, great we’re gonna be the reason why nobody has any toilet paper this school is gonna tumblr down thanks to soggy toilet paper balls

he comes over with two more giant wads of toilet paper and starts making his own soggy paper ball while you put the other one on the sink and just do the third

you guys have three sopping toilet paper wads and it’s such a strange sight and you’re just going along with it tbh and taeyong is just like :)))) are you ready?

that glint in his eye means nothing but trouble and you know you shouldn’t be involved in this mess

but you just sigh and whisper under your breath that this dude tried to punch the wrong girl

taeyong smirks and is like i hope your aim is as killer as your hook

and lo and behold you manage to hit the guy square in the back with a glob of toilet paper and it makes the harshest smacking sound that even taeyong winces but he laughs and pushes you out of the bathroom so he can throw his

and just in time with the guy turning around he gets a glob to the face and then another to the stomach

that’s when you and taeyong run off again and the guy is left behind trying to get water and shredding toilet paper remains out of his eyes and clothes

while you’re giggling and running and even jumping over a table when you two cut into the cafeteria, taeyong is watching you silently while running behind you

you glance back to see if the guy is following you and when taeyong sees your smile......... he’s just................. so drawn in

‘where have you been all my life?’ taeyong asks when you two camp out in an empty classroom for a while

‘english class. which i’m probably going to be in so much trouble for when i get back’

‘wait................ english class??? in room 127?’

you’re just like uhuh you’d know if you actually showed up from time to time

and after meeting you, taeyong does just that

he doesn’t interact much with you anymore but he steals glances at you and pays full attention whenever you’re talking in class

eventually you start noticing that he only actually fully attends his english class and is constantly staring at you

so you just walk up to him one day and are like ‘go to class’

taeyong pulls a coolio (or tries to) and just responds with ‘go out with me’

you don’t actually think he’s serious until the next day you find him waiting at your locker ready to walk you to first period

it’s kind of cute the way he clings to you the walk there because he’s trying to make sure everyone sees this and it’s a silent message for them to back off and not mess with you

before he walks away once you step foot into the classroom you crab his collar and go ‘you better be in class’

taeyong just holds his hands up and is like fine but you’ll owe me a kiss

taeyong somehow always manages to show up on time and walk you to your next class, even taking over your seatmate’s desk if he shares the class with you

and at lunch he introduces everyone to you and some of the guys say hello and he’s like what how do you know her

to which you just respond with a ‘if you went to class you would have known’ and flick his forehead and everyone is ready to flinch because not even some of them can do that

but taeyong just rolls his eyes at your sass and softly (bc this precious is like i must never harm) pinches your cheek in return

at the end of the day taeyong is there at your locker again and the first thing he says is

‘you owe me a kiss’

and you manage to flag down two of his pals and ask if he really was in class and they go oh!! yeaH! FOR ONCE!!!!

taeyong is just smugly smiling at you

so you lean in slowly and taeyong is like oh? this is really happening?

and peck him on the cheek

you walk away and just go, see you tomorrow, hun

and taeyong stares at you and is like oh my gosh my face feels so warm i didn’t think she’d..... she called me hun oh golly

the next day taeyong isn’t there at your locker, but when you open it up you find a single rose in there and a super cheesy message

along with a sticky note telling you not to tell anybody about this at all or else he’ll get you back

when you tease him about it he denies everything until you tell him you’ll give him an actual kiss if he does admit to it

which he quickly does and you just give him a better kiss on the cheek this time

taeyong watches you go back to doing whatever as if that were normal and just goes to himself......... yup she’s the one

as you get more used to being in a relationship with taeyong you notice all the little things he does for you

still walking you to classes and showing up at your locker to wait for you and even leaving little gifts in there

one time that one guy tried to pick a fight with you when you were talking with your friend and taeyong waltzes up and slings an arm around you shoulders and is like

‘heyyy i think you better knock it off. and after what happened last time, you probably should be more afraid of her than you are me. just a tip.’

the guy just walks away and taeyong proudly looks at you and is like aren’t i deserving of a kiss?

you give him another kiss on the cheek and every single time he’s a little disappointed but too flustered to actually whine about it

the first actual date he took you on he was the sweetest, most gentlemanly guy you’ve ever encountered

he also cleans up well holy smokes it wasn’t even that fancy of a place but he still wanted to look nice

a casual sweatshirt, jeans, sneakers, and a snapback and wow you were gone

even if you did bring a jacket he made sure to give you his just to see you wearing something of his

after that makes sure to leave a jacket of his in your locker ‘in case you get cold’ or ‘for emergencies’

your first actual for real not a fake kiss though??? probably the tenth date in when you realize that taeyong was being serious about dating you

because he took you out on a picnic on a spot that overlooked the city

and it was so calm and serene and the entire time you were looking at the view, taeyong was looking at you............

you turned to him to talk about something you saw and are taken aback by how intense his stare is

and taeyong just goes, ‘for making my heart skip a beat every time you take a breath.......... you owe me a kiss’

and seeing him smile when you got flustered over this kind of made your heart skip a beat?

he told you that you didn’t have to but before he could finish that sentence you cut him off by a sweetly short kiss to the lips and he turned red and buried his face in his hands

his friends all found out that he was taking this seriously when he randomly sat down one day and just went ‘do you know what love feels like?’

everyone screamed and thought you broke him

let you watch him practice kickboxing once and now you’re not allowed because all he did was show off and the coach was not pleased at all

‘please, i’m glad you got the punk to calm down some but now he’s not focusing on anything’

overall taeyong is glad you didn’t judge him like everyone else and wants to protect you as much as possible even if you have a killer hook that honestly kind of scares him
