Yes, you can change, even now; because God’s hand is extended to you, and He will lift you up. Humble yourself before Him, call upon His name, and He will give you mercy (His unmerited favor), and He will give you GRACE.

Lmao precisely as I suspected
What a way to end my birthday! There's some anonymous coward from one of two groups (who are interacting with one another now, so more like one group) going about spreading this lie of me defending a groomer when nothing of the sort happened.
Here's the document they've linked to (An here's the shorter version with every link intact they've conveniently failed to mention). Somethings have changed, some links are broken, and some things are outdated, but I generally stand by everything I said: These freaks wrote that callout out of malice, not a desire to protect the community. They were hunting around for dirt and grievances before it was posted; I know this because they came to me, not once but twice, over petty nonsense which means they definitely approached others.
They are simply angry that someone had the balls to call them on their bullshit and trying to conflate criticism of their motives and methods with defense of the perpetrator, which never occurred from any side. We knew they'd do this and so did others which is why they stayed quiet, but not us. I knew the consequences of this going in. *shrug* These people have been pushing this "Jaxter is dangerous" narrative for about a year now and this is just more of it.
¯\_(ツ)_/ If you have any questions or concerns or receive a similar messages, DM me. I'll gladly give you the scoop as best I recall it.
As for you nonnie? Complete bitch behavior, absolutely don't respect it. No surprise you're part of the groups you're part of. They weren't keen to putting their names on anything either so very on brand for you lol
EDIT: Fuck it, since we're here, here's another liar. "Actively defending a groomer" lmao alright Slurk. Doesn't even have the gall the name me. What's the point of vaguing if you're very very clearly talking about one person, sis?
#drama tw#ooc#on my birthday huh? and right after i leave to go hang out with family?#motherfuckers are pussy for real nowadays#grooming mention#namedrop

Beyonce' releases the remix to "Break My Soul" ft Madonna. In the song, Beyonce (and Madonna) shout out a lot of QUEEN names (female artist from past and present) and Beyonce namedrops Aaliyah as one of many Queens she calls out.
The song would go viral with a lot of various fanbases celebrating that Beyonc mentioned their fav. #TeamAaliyah also mistakenly thought Aaliyah's name was mentioned twice in the song (mostly because the original lyrics shared online displayed Aaliyah's name twice).
How many times did you play this song when it came out?

ig a semi serious post?
so i dont exactly like my birth name. it feels like something i respond to only out of habit, and i never really found something else i liked. hell, i sometimes would wish it was possible to just not have a name, since i didn't think any would fit me. however, a friend of mine i feel jokingly suggested the name Casper and i cant stop thinking about it. its not like i feel fully complete still, theres still a hole of confusion there, but my old name was tape put upon that hole and casper feels like a name that can help fill part of the hole, and so i wonder, should i try to be casper, keep my old name, or find something different then casper to change to? (note, i dont hate my old name and plan to keep it a nickname if and when i do change mine!)

Singer-songwriter Charlie Puth is still reeling from the unexpected and heartwarming name-drop he received from pop icon Taylor Swift on her latest album, "The Tortured Poets Department." In the song "The Tortured Poets Department," Swift sings, "We declared Charlie Puth should be a bigger artist," sparking disbelief and a wave of emotions for Puth. Let's delve deeper into Puth's reaction to Swift's lyrics, the impact it's had on his career, and the deeper meaning behind the shout-out. Taylor Swift's From Denial to Tears: Puth's Journey of Disbelief Upon learning about the lyric through a friend, Puth initially dismissed it as a joke or an AI-generated addition. His initial disbelief stemmed from the sheer improbability of such a major artist mentioning him in a song. However, upon listening to the official album release and hearing Swift sing his name, Puth was overwhelmed with emotion. He described his reaction as a mixture of shock and disbelief, ultimately leading to tears. "It Was Surreal": A Reflection on Past and Present Puth's emotional response stemmed not only from the surprise but also from a sense of self-reflection. He acknowledged that he might have made different choices in his career path, but this unexpected acknowledgment from Swift felt like a turning point. He saw it as a sign that his current direction and efforts were heading in the right direction. A Candid Conversation: Puth on Songwriting and Vulnerability The unexpected lyrics also inspired Puth to be more personal and vulnerable in his songwriting. He admitted a tendency to shy away from overly specific lyrics in the pursuit of commercial success. However, Swift's boldness in referencing a personal conversation within a song resonated deeply with Puth, encouraging him to embrace a more honest and potentially less commercially driven approach in his music. A Note of Gratitude: Puth Pens a Message to Swift Despite the initial shock, Puth expressed his immense gratitude to Swift through a handwritten note. He conveyed his appreciation for her encouragement and how it had emboldened him to release his new song, "Hero." Puth credits Swift's validation as the final push he needed to share this more vulnerable and personal work with the world. A New Song and Renewed Courage: The "Hero" Effect The impact of Swift's lyrics extends beyond a simple shout-out. It directly influenced Puth's creative output. He credits Swift's encouragement with the release of "Hero," a song that represents a more raw and personal side of his artistry. Puth emphasizes that Swift's support gave him the courage to step outside his comfort zone and embrace artistic vulnerability. Beyond the Ranks: Defining "Bigger Artist" While Swift's lyric playfully suggests Puth should be a "bigger artist," Puth himself expands on the definition of this term. For him, being a bigger artist isn't just about chart-topping hits or mainstream recognition. He aspires to use his platform to inspire others, particularly aspiring musicians, to pursue their craft with passion and dedication.

Don’t believe the hype: NameDrop is not automatically sharing your contact information each time your iPhone comes into close contact with another

Is Apple’s NameDrop Safe?
Hey everyone, Phil Yanov here with the latest on the new NameDrop feature that just dropped (no pun intended) with the iOS 17 update. As someone who helps real people make in person connections through Tech After Five, I'm pretty psyched about this new addition that makes it crazy simple to share contact information with others.
In a nutshell, NameDrop lets you quickly exchange names, phone numbers, email addresses - the essential deets - with someone else who also has an iPhone or Apple Watch. All you gotta do is bring the devices close together and tap to confirm. Easy peasy connectivity right there from Apple. Whether you're meeting colleagues, making new friends, or trying to pull, NameDrop takes the hassle out of swapping contacts.
I know some folks raised concerns about privacy and security with this new default setting, but Apple's built in some safeguards. NameDrop doesn't actually share your info with everyone around you automatically. Your iPhone's gotta be unlocked, brought in close physical proximity to the other device, and you still have to actively hit "share" or "receive." So a few checks there to keep your data yours.
As far as I can tell, most Apple users are pumped about the convenience NameDrop offers for linking up with people in their lives, from family members to friends old and new.
If for some reason you aren't feeling NameDrop, you can switch it off. Just head to your settings, tap General, then Airdrop, and turn off "Bring Device Together." No biggie. But me personally - I say bring on the connectivity. Well done bringing us into the future, Apple!
Let me know what you think of NameDrop and if you have any other iOS 17 thoughts in the comments!
Fact Check

Verdict: This claim is difficult to verify, but there is some anecdotal evidence to support it. For example, a recent article in the Washington Post reported that "many iPhone users are excited about the new NameDrop feature."
Claim: You can switch off NameDrop if you don't like it.
Verdict: True. You can disable NameDrop by going to Settings > General > AirDrop and turning off "Bring Device Together."
