Need some good manwa reccomendations

I read "Main Heroines are Trying to Kill Me" where I was more annoyed by the harem stuff making the plot predictable until WN 170(probably -113 of future manwa)

I read "Demon Prince Goes to the Academy" but then I hear WN ch 326-onward (probably 187 of future manwa-) is ruined by the story being less character driven and more "just for the plot"

Looking for ones that are less predictable and stay good or get better even better quickly...

I'm probably the worst person to ask for recs since I literally only read for myself and myself alone, but I can list a few I'm familiar with that are a similar genre* & maybe that'll help? Except for a couple, I can't guarantee at all that they don't get bad though.

(*If you're looking for Harem specifically, only The Narrow-Eyed Villain of the Demon Academy (not translated to anything really Harem-y yet) and Regressor Instruction Manual are Harem since the other ones I've been reading have kind of fallen off)

Clever Cleaning Life of the Returned Genius Hunter - this manhwa (also on Webtoon) is about the world's #1 hunter who was killed & returned to 10 years in the past. His former skills can only be unlocked by working as a Dungeon Cleaner, specialists that work in teams to clean cleared dungeons before they disappear so they're safer when they respawn (Ex: dismantling monster corpses to prevent piles blocking combat).

Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint - obvious choice, but this is the only manhwa/novel that I know for sure gets better as you go on. It starts with the main character's favorite obscure webnovel starting within his reality/“the real world.” His goal is to help his favorite characters escape to the epilogue through numerous deadly “scenarios” broadcasted to the Starstream, filled with Constellations that sponsor individuals via money & abilities.

Debut or Die - wildly different genre, but it's stayed really interesting up to WN Chapter 145 (where I'm at) & I know there's more exciting things later on. I can't explain without spoilering, but similar vibes

I Stole the Number One Ranker's Soul

Lout of the Count’s Family - another really popular one, but from what I've heard, it does a good job at staying interesting & changing as it goes on. It seems to develop upon the transmigration itself, but someone else could probably explain it better since I read some of it SO long ago.

The Ones Within / Naka no Hito Genome Jikkyouchuu - several streamers find themselves in a classroom & must play various games and challenges broadcasted to unknown viewers to escape. This is probably the most light-hearted one btw

Tomodachi Game - four high school friends are kidnapped after one of them enters the group into a game for paying off debts. The debt is split four ways; they can technically lessen the debt by working together, but the games are designed to cause discord and encourage putting the needs of the individual over the group. Definitely more psychological

Web Novel Only

The Narrow-Eyed Villain of the Demon Academy - I had to add this one despite not being a manhwa because it's very similar to The Demon Prince Goes to the Academy. The main character is the author of a story about the overpowered human Student Council eliminating the weaker invading demon realm. The villain of the story - the assassin Adel Arsene from a half-demon family that was eliminated by their human allies after the Human-Demon War - breaks into the author's reality and transmigrates him into the novel right before Adel is to be attacked by the humans. He escapes to the demon realm & ends up joining the demon academy to survive, learn the truth behind this world, and fulfill the original Adel's wish.

Reverend Insanity - I actually JUST started this novel, but Reddit swears up, down, and sideways about how amazing it is. It's about a guy who returns to 500 years in the past to right before his average talent is revealed at an Awakening Ceremony (he was originally praised as a genius & this led to a stunning of sorts that marked him/led to his murder 500 years later). The main hook I've heard is how he's ambitious & immoral when it comes to rising to the top; a story the author wanted to write without having to consider readers’ sensibilities.

Also, I've finished the DPA novel in its entirety & there were a lot of comments about how the author was just dragging out the drama for plot and whatnot, mainly by people who hated Ellen for not immediately forgiving and believing Reinhardt 🙄. I do agree that the characterization in a lot of the female characters took a major hit, but there are still interesting character-driven side plots and whatnot that I found made it worth it. Depends on what kind of reader you are, I think. The ending does suck ass tho :/

So basically as the same as normal except for when someone hates him for accidentally charming their partner Makino uses up him word limit to roast the hell outta the asshole. Plus all his favorite video/audio edits and AMV have this song ^
