really quick new year's day post, bc i was too tired to create one last night (i'm old)

thank you all for your community this past year. i remember being sooo nervous about posting my fics, specifically 150 Bullets. but everyone has been so kind and supportive and i have loved interacting with all of you in any way or shape. thank you for your understanding when i have gone mia due to work or life, and for always allowing me to come back and have fun with all of you. the trigun community is small but mighty, and i appreciate every one of you, from the posters to the bloggers to the lurkers to the readers and everything in between.

okay but now i'm spiraling about begin again being such a parallel to new year's day, because she said this about it during og red promo:

I think the worst part about a breakup - if one can choose a worse part - would possibly be if you get out of the relationship and you don’t recognize yourself because you changed a lot about yourself to make that person like you. And I think that for me I wrote this song about the idea that you could remember who you used to be and remember that by meeting someone new who makes you feel like it's okay. That like everything about you is great. And not only that who you are is okay but who you are is awesome. And you can meet someone who celebrates the things about you that the other person used to criticize you endlessly for.
