Controversial businessman Adukia suspected to have flown abroad; DRI yet to raid his factory
Controversial businessman Rakesh Kumar Adukia, wanted by the Department of Revenue Investigation (DRI), is suspected to have left the country. It is assumed that the Adukia father-son duo who was involved in the smuggling of around 100 kilos of gold has left the country. Merely a week after the successful recovery of the smuggled gold, the DRI’s raid on his house proved futile, as the team returned only with a handful of documents. The DRI team that raided Adukia's house in Kamalpokhari hasn’t yet paid attention to his factory in Maligaon.
Adukia, who opened an office in Hong Kong and engaged in gold smuggling, was smuggling gold mixed with silver. It is said that he opened a factory in Maligaon to separate the gold mixed with silver. A businessman said that the DRI team only raided the house without reaching the factory. “He had been dealing in silver for a long time. They used to pay the revenue of silver at the airport customs and bring gold and separate the precious metals in Kathmandu," he said.
The businessman added, “The team of DRI has not reached there. Also, only after he escaped did the department's team raid his house.” The businessman estimates that Adukia has now reached Europe from India via Dubai. But the revenue officials are not ready to accept this. “We are searching. Nothing more can be said about him right now,” said an employee of the DRI. Two Hundi businessmen in Nepal are also involved in this gold smuggling case. But the DRI has not taken any formal view on this matter. “We are investigating. Everything will be revealed after the investigation is over,” said Nawa Raj Dhungana, director general of the Department.
Suspicious businessman Adukia is believed to have fled from Hong Kong after opening his office in Kowloon, Hong Kong and after the Department of Customs asked for his details. It has been revealed that he was involved in gold smuggling 28 years ago as well. It has been found that Adukia was arrested on 26th July 1995 with 2.88 kilograms of gold. In the report submitted by the Parliamentary Joint Committee, 1999 on the investigation of revenue leakage, which includes the names of various smugglers, it is mentioned that businessman Adukia is also involved in gold smuggling.
According to Article 65 of the then Constitution of 1990, a resolution was passed by both the Houses that a joint committee of both Houses should be formed to carry out an investigation of revenue leakage. According to the proposal, a nine-member joint committee was formed under the chairmanship of then MP Pari Thapa. Khagaraj Adhikari (CPM-UML), Dr Gangadhar Lamsal (Nepali Congress), Chanda Shah (RPP), Tanka Rai (CPN-ML), Narayan Man Bijukchhe (NWPP) Pari Thapa (Independent), Dr Mohammad Mohsin (RPP), Yuvraj Gyawali (UML) and Ramesh Rijal (Nepali Congress). The report mentions that 72. 812 kilograms of illegal gold was recovered from the airport in the fiscal year 1995/96.

Ultimate Protection: Superior Roofing Underlayment for Durable, Reliable Performance
In the realm of roofing materials, the importance of using top-quality underlayment cannot be overstated. Whether you're constructing a new roof or renovating an existing one, the choice of underlayment plays a critical role in ensuring the longevity and durability of the entire roofing system. Among the myriad options available in the market today, synthetic roofing underlayment stands out as a superior choice for its exceptional performance and reliability. PP roofing sheets exporters in Ahmedabad offer a range of high-quality synthetic underlayment options that provide superior protection against moisture, UV exposure, and extreme weather conditions, making them ideal for both residential and commercial roofing projects.
Understanding the Importance of Roofing Underlayment
Think of roofing underlayment as a waterproof blanket for your roof deck. It safeguards the underlying structure from:
Water Infiltration: Even the best roofs experience minor leaks through shingle gaps, nail holes, or wind-driven rain. A good underlayment channels this water away from the deck, preventing rot, mold growth, and structural damage.
Ice Dams: In cold climates, ice dams can form at the roof's edge, causing water to back up under the shingles and leak into the attic. Underlayment with ice and water barrier properties prevent this by allowing water to drain freely.
Valley Leakage: Valleys, where two roof slopes meet, are particularly vulnerable to water infiltration. Underlayment with enhanced performance in valleys provides additional protection.
Wind Uplift: Strong winds can rip shingles off, exposing the underlayment. High-strength underlayment helps prevent this by offering additional tear resistance.
The Benefits of Synthetic Roofing Underlayment:
Traditionally, felt paper was the go-to underlayment choice. However, synthetic underlayment, increasingly sourced by Roof synthetic underlayment suppliers in Ahmedabad, offers several advantages:
Durability: Synthetic underlayment is far more resistant to tears, punctures, and degradation from sunlight compared to felt. This ensures long-lasting performance and peace of mind.
Water Resistance: Modern synthetic underlayments boast superior waterproofing capabilities, keeping your roof deck safe from moisture.
Breathability: Some synthetics allow trapped moisture to escape, preventing mold growth and promoting roof ventilation.
Lightweight: Synthetic underlayment is lighter than felt, making installation easier and reducing stress on the roof structure.
Fire Resistance: Certain synthetic underlayments offer enhanced fire resistance, adding another layer of safety to your home.
Choosing the Right Underlayment for Your Needs
When choosing synthetic roofing underlayment, consider factors like durability, water resistance, and UV protection. For quality options, explore offerings from reputable Roof synthetic underlayment suppliers in Ahmedabad, India, ensuring the right fit for your roofing needs.:
Climate: Consider your local weather conditions. If you experience heavy rain or snowfall, choose an underlayment with superior water resistance. For cold climates, opt for one with an ice and water barrier.
Roof Slope: Steeper roofs require underlayment with enhanced tear resistance to withstand wind uplift.
Shingle Type: Certain shingle types may require specific underlayment compatibility.
Budget: Synthetic underlayments come in different price ranges. Balance cost with the desired level of protection and features.
Here's a breakdown of some common synthetic underlayment types:
Non-Woven Polypropylene (NWPP): A cost-effective choice offering basic water resistance and breathability.
Tri-Laminate: Combines a strong middle layer with a water-resistant film on both sides for better performance.
High-Performance Synthetic: Features advanced waterproofing, tear resistance, and breathability. Ideal for steep slopes or harsh weather conditions.
Self-Adhering Underlayment: Simplifies installation with a peel-and-stick application, especially beneficial for complex roof shapes or valleys.
Consulting with a qualified roofing professional is highly recommended to determine the best underlayment for your specific roof and local climate.
Installation Tips for Optimal Performance
Proper Storage: Ensure your underlayment is stored in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight before installation.
Base Preparation: The roof deck must be clean, dry, and free of debris for proper underlayment adhesion.
Laying the Underlayment: Start at the eaves and work your way up, overlapping each roll according to the manufacturer's instructions. Use appropriate fasteners to secure the underlayment to the roof deck.
Shingle Installation: Follow shingle manufacturer's guidelines for proper installation over the underlayment.
Conclusion
Investing in high-quality roofing underlayment is a strategic decision that pays dividends over time. Synthetic underlayments offer unparalleled durability, water resistance, and ease of installation compared to traditional materials. When searching for Synthetic roofing underlayment manufacturers in India, particularly in Ahmedabad, prioritize suppliers known for their commitment to quality and innovation. Choosing synthetic underlayments not only protects your roof but also safeguards your investment. Look for PP roofing sheets exporters in Ahmedabad who prioritize durability and performance, ensuring your roofing needs are met with reliable and advanced materials from trusted manufacturers in India.

A Greener Future with Non-Woven Bags Made in India
In a world where environmental consciousness is on the rise, the choice of everyday items we use can have a significant impact on the planet. One such choice is the type of bags we carry for our shopping and daily needs. Non-woven bags, especially those made in India, have emerged as a sustainable and eco-friendly alternative to traditional plastic bags. These bags are not just a trend but a crucial step towards a greener future. In this article, we will explore the significance of non-woven bags, made by manufacturers in India, and their role in shaping a more environmentally friendly tomorrow.
The Environmental Crisis: The Need for Sustainable Solutions
The world is grappling with a growing environmental crisis, largely fueled by the excessive use of single-use plastic items. Plastic pollution has become a global concern, with devastating effects on ecosystems, marine life, and human health. It's imperative that we reduce our dependence on plastic products and seek more sustainable alternatives.
The Rise of Non-Woven Bags
Non-woven bags have gained prominence as a viable solution to the plastic problem. These bags are made from non-woven polypropylene (NWPP) fabric, a synthetic material that is strong, durable, and, most importantly, reusable. Unlike single-use plastic bags that end up in landfills or oceans, non-woven bags can be used repeatedly, significantly reducing waste.
The Indian Connection: Manufacturing Non-Woven Bags
India has emerged as a key player in the manufacturing of non-woven bags, contributing to a greener planet. Here's how Non-Woven Bags Manufacturer in India make these eco-friendly bags:
1. Material Sourcing
The production of non-woven bags begins with the sourcing of polypropylene, a thermoplastic polymer that is safe for the environment. This material is readily available and can be recycled, making it an eco-friendly choice.
2. Production Process
The manufacturing process involves melting down the polypropylene pellets and then extruding them into long fibers. These fibers are then bonded together using heat and pressure, creating a strong and durable fabric. This process is both energy-efficient and minimizes waste.
3. Reusability
Non-woven bags are designed to be reusable, and their robust construction allows them to withstand multiple uses. This not only reduces the demand for single-use plastic bags but also lessens the overall environmental impact.
4. Customization
Non-woven bags, made by Eco-Friendly Bags Suppliers in India, can be easily customized. Manufacturers offer a variety of sizes, colors, and printing options, allowing businesses and individuals to personalize their bags for branding or personal use.
The Environmental Benefits of Non-Woven Bags
Non-woven bags, made by manufacturers in India, offer several environmental advantages:
1. Reduction in Plastic Waste
By opting for non-woven bags over disposable plastic bags, we significantly reduce the amount of plastic waste entering our environment. This leads to cleaner streets, oceans, and a reduced burden on landfills.
2. Energy Efficiency
The manufacturing process of non-woven bags is energy-efficient when compared to the production of plastic bags. This results in a lower carbon footprint and reduced greenhouse gas emissions.
3. Preservation of Resources
Non-woven bags are reusable, which means fewer resources are expended in their production compared to single-use plastic bags. This contributes to the conservation of resources.
4. Biodegradability
While polypropylene is not readily biodegradable, non-woven bags, made by manufacturers in India, are long-lasting and can be used for years. When disposed of properly at the end of their lifecycle, they have a lower environmental impact than single-use plastics.
Changing Consumer Behavior
The adoption of non-woven bags, made by manufacturers in India, is not limited to businesses and manufacturers. Consumers play a vital role in the transition to sustainable alternatives. Here are a few ways in which individuals can contribute to a greener future:
1. Reusable Bag Adoption
Make it a habit to carry reusable bags, including non-woven bags, when shopping. This small change in behavior can significantly reduce plastic bag usage.
2. Education and Awareness
Spread awareness about the environmental benefits of non-woven bags, made by manufacturers in India, among friends, family, and peers. Encourage them to make sustainable choices.
3. Support Local Manufacturers
By supporting local non-woven bags, made by manufacturers in India, you contribute to the growth of sustainable industries and reduce the carbon footprint associated with imported goods.
Conclusion
Non-woven bags, made by manufacturers in India, represent a greener future where individuals, businesses, and communities unite to combat plastic pollution. These bags offer a practical and sustainable alternative to single-use plastics, helping to preserve our environment for future generations. It's not just a choice; it's a responsibility—a responsibility to protect our planet and shape a more sustainable and eco-friendly tomorrow, one non-woven bag at a time. These eco-friendly bags, supplied by manufacturers in India, are more than just bags; they are a symbol of our commitment to a greener future.

Continuous protests shook the length and breadth of mountainous Nepal in September as the U.S. pushed again to chain this Asian country of 28 million people to its anti-China alliance through the Millennium Challenge Compact (MCC).
The U.S. claims that the MCC’s $500 million grant agreement is merely a generous gift to help improve the country’s infrastructure, with no strings attached. But that story has been shot full of holes by anti-imperialist forces leading the protests.

A recent examine from UCL suggests that if each particular person within the UK makes use of one single-use mask every day for a year, sixty six,000 tonnes of contaminated plastic waste can be generated, with out counting the waste from packaging . Assuming the same disposal price for every affected nation, the medical waste generated at a world scale is going to be substantial, with a unfavorable impact on our ecosystem and human well being . In an try and curb the spread of the virus, greater than 50 international locations have made face masks obligatory in public areas in the course of the COVID-19 pandemic, such as China, Singapore, Spain, and France .
However, there are not any studies, and knowledge about face masks are plastic polymers which find yourself as microplastic and/or nanofiber contaminants in water techniques. This study evaluates the surgical face mask is a potential source for microplastic contaminants within the littering as nicely as the water methods. Thus, the analytical instrumental methods are important attainable approaches for the identifications of microplastic in microplastic pollutions analysis.
However, you might want to have the NWPP as the outer layer to prevent water droplets from coming into contact with the cotton. However, if you wish to use it as a filter you could take away when washing or replace, then you’d need to create a pocket and put it in the course of your cotton cloth. 2010 analysis found that an 70% cotton/15% polyester Hanes sweatshirt provide “marginal safety in opposition to nanoparticles including these within the measurement ranges of virus-containing particles.” Generally speaking, the higher the cotton content, the better. Subsidiary Sinopec Shanghai Petrochemical has also successfully transformed its equipment to provide the materials needed by nonwoven material makers and began supplying producers last month. The 10 manufacturing traces could have a daily output of 12 tons of fabric for N95 masks or 18 tons of cloth for surgical masks. That is sufficient to make 3.6 million N95 masks a day or 18 million surgical masks. It takes time to increase capability, according to an tools manufacturer for nonwoven cloth manufacturing.
