Only over a chapter into (Annihilation sequel) Authority, and already I kind of love Control and Grace.

He's an acting director trying to establish himself as a cold and unfeeling leader like his mother while secretly wishing he could be as free and feeling as his father, while also secretly wishing he could be the forceful flash of light his mother was.

She's an assistant director who knows this *acting* director is in her seat, and she is not going to let him get comfortable, in total control with not an inch of grace to spare.

I love this dynamic for them!
