Northrop Grumman's Cygnus spacecraft, launched last Sunday, August 4, has just reached the International Space Station and was captured by the Canadarm2 robotic arm. Astronaut Matthew Dominick, assisted by his colleague Jeanette Epps, will soon begin the slow maneuver to move the Cygnus until it docks with the Station's Unity module after about two hours.

Cygnus NG-21 S.S. Francis R. 'Dick' Scobee', carrying over 8,000 pounds of supplies and experiments, has successfully been berthed to the International Space Station.

Despite a low pressure state in the Cygnus engine preventing two orbit raising burns early in the mission, Northrup Grumman engineers were able to work out new burn and trajectory plans, enabling Cygnus to rendezvous with the International Space Station at the originally scheduled time.

At 3:11 a.m. EDT on August 6, 2024, astronaut Matt Dominick captured the spacecraft with the International Space Station's Canadarm2, with berthing completed remotely by engineers at the Johnson Space Center's Mission Control Center at 5:33 a.m. EDT.

Cygnus will remain at the space station until January, where it will dispose of thousands of pounds by burning up in Earth's atmosphere during re-entry.

This reminds me of how Till Lindemann is still getting away despite everything. Judging by his work? Poetry especially? He's about the worst hell has to offer. But no you couldn't tell, because it's art, and because Rammstein is one of the very few bands in their genre that explicitely takes a stand against fascists, and thus everyone wants to believe in them and by extension Lindemann. Got them an infiinite advance payment in trust. And then it turns out yes he likely did all those things he wrote about. But no one cares because "RS are the good ones". Like Gaiman is.

as far as “long running shows to start watching in winter and then get Weird about” go i think the football show is probably the safest option i could have gone with. i don’t even see myself getting THAT weird about it. i assume i’ll have a fondness for patheticboy and an appreciation for ours music video guy and his (i assume) eventual romance with the coach’s daughter. i think i’ll love Jason Street but i KNOW the drama with his girl is gonna get on my nerves. unsure how i feel about uh. smash. he’s alright but kind of a dick but it feels like a little racist to me that the only poc in here is such an asshole so i’m gonna be forgiving at least for now :/ i don’t. Love the blonde girl. but again it feels a little misogynistic that they’re portraying this girl as so deeply unlikeable and slutty so i’ll forgive. LOVE connie britton and the coach! i love when there are two people in real and true love!! hashtag marriage swag <3 um. that’s all. oh yeah i love ours music video guy’s buddy who’s a knockoff matt damon, he’s gonna be fun to have around! his comic relief slay! i also predict that as much as i’ll like patheticboy he will also get on my nerves but i’ll forgive him because i feel that every time he will do something i hate he’s going to come right back with some really sad wet pathetic shit. he has what jj outer banks wants soooo bad but will never achieve. i’ve known him for two hours but i KNOW this peace and love <3

I finished the Dead Space remake (quick review absolutely loved it, does a great job of keeping the spirit and main plot while also adding new things and lore from the spin offs. Doesn't keep the clunky controls of OG instead uses two's plus re does the annoying as fuck bits.)

So any way some of my favorite glitches from my first playthrough

Shot an arm off one necromorph only for both in the room to get sucked into the ceiling and stuck there. They were eventually freed via death once I stopped being amused.

While taking the elevator down in engineering after the attack one of the necromorphs stayed where it died. Continued to be there until it despawned.

Mercer didn't load in for the cutscene so I not only got none of his dialogue the hunter also didn't load so I didn't have to run from him at all to clear the door to the mess hall.

Last one can also happen in OG Dead Space when a necromorph gets pinned the arm will stick out like that and if you hit it the arm will grow.

Just a fun OG Dead Space one, now when I have vsync off everything likes to float so I have have it on so the game behaves.

There was a castle, on stage, as if time was flowing backward only there… A scene encountered in the distant memories of a faraway past, evoking such an illusion… Is that place truly a part of the real world?

Does MALICE MIZER truly exist in reality?

In the world of collective imagination, where the unreliable five senses of humans mistakenly perceive, is it all a dream? Standing by the seaside where a gentle breeze flows or walking cautiously through a dark forest with no lights, always aware of what’s behind… In that instant a stage existed that could transform the scenery dramatically like the lighting that thundered fiercely in the dark night. And from above, no, as if sent from a different dimension their figures appeared in that space. And through sound, vibration, and light… everything about MALICE MIZER began to flow into our brains through every sensory organ.

“An integrated arts group,” MALICE MIZER.

Artists have their limits, musicians have their limits, directors have their limits. However, what need is there for “chic” in conveying things, events, emotions, and the world to people? “Is this a false space created by them? Are they false on stage?” Such trivial thoughts almost arise, but there is a world there. Yet, it is perhaps just showing what they can express. They have the authority over the “time” of this world.

And the lights in the castle began to fade, revealing a night sky adorned with countless stars… And the door to that space closed, while outside, the rain poured down heavily. Too many things unfolded in that brief moment and remained.

On the way back. “There’s no rain like this in a storm… maybe it’s still continuing from that place earlier.” I thought about such things as if I were running over a river in the car.
