This came up after they were took in after the Boogeyman's defeat and they started realizing they weren't the same anymore. They didn't identify themselves as Delightful Children; Father was not around. They didn't feel under his control. They wanted to be... something else. But at the same time... they weren't Sector Z anymore as well. Yes, they were starting to remember old missions, getting into what they used to like... but they weren't the same people.

They felt like they were something entirely new, something different from their past but still close to it. They felt like that was a completely... new experience.

And after this rather uncool explanation I will go to bed, goodnight!

Today, I experienced my first time being tranced by someone on a live call and I……. For the first time ever, I’m coming up short on how to describe it.

This is my fourth attempt at writing this post. That’s how tongue-tied the whole experience has me.

I keep trying to put the experience into words and yet, I continue to fail to locate the right ones to attribute to this experience. Yes, I do mean “locate”. It’s like every time I try to sum it up, the right words seem to just scatter, like Soot Sprites in a dilapidated house.

I write on this blog a lot about the things I daydream about. Fantasies I wish would happen to me, ways I’d love to be taken advantage of in various hypnokinky situations. But to have it happen to me is just… I’m speechless and in all the best ways. And that isn’t due to a post-hypnotic suggestion, I am genuinely tongue-tied.

To have my mind toyed with like a yo-yo on a string…

To be dropped and then brought back to wake at various degrees of awareness… or fuzziness, is more like it…

And to do it with someone who can guide you so deeply into trance, despite your most stubborn efforts…

Someone who can read your desperation and guide it like a river into a state of relaxation and arousal…

Someone who is teasing your horny little mind with both genuine respect and imaginatively devious intents…

Dear God… I’m absent-mindedly teasing my nipples just thinking about it… it sends an intoxicating shiver of pleasure down my spine that just keeps going on and on and on…

It was also so nice to tease them right back. After all, what type of brat would I be if I didn’t try to get back a bit of my own from time to time? 🙃 And believe me, I certainly did.

And all I can think about is how badly I want to do it all over again.

People against piracy fail to realize that no, I can’t just ‘buy it.’ They stopped making DVDs and Blu-Rays. They’re barely offering digital copies for download. I am not spending money I could use for food or bills to pay for a subscription service just so I can always have access to a beloved piece of media. Especially not when the service will remove media on a whim without concern for how the loss of access to that piece will make its artistic conservation nigh impossible.

For example, I recently learned that Disney+ had an original film called Crater. It’s scifi, family friendly, and seems cool - I would love to buy it as a holiday gift for my little brother! But: it’s exclusive to D+ and THEY REMOVED IT LITERALLY MONTHS AFTER ITS RELEASE.

The ONLY way I can directly access this film is through piracy. The ONLY available ‘copies’ of this film are hosted on piracy websites. Disney will NEVER release it in theaters, or as something to buy, and it may NEVER return to the streaming service. It will be LOST because we aren’t allowed to purchase it for personal viewing. If I can’t pay to own it, I won’t pay for the privilege of losing it when corporate decides to put it in a vault.

So yes, I’m going to pirate and support piracy.

i don't really like when people say dungeon meshi is accidentally good autistic representation, because while i understand not wanting to make conclusions without explicit confirmation from the author, there's always the weird assumption that non-western authors somehow don't know about things like neurodivergency/queerness/etc. (on top of the assumptions that east asian authors are somehow more naive or oblivious to "western" social issues).

given that dungeon meshi started being published in 2014, it's not really a "work belonging to its times"—it's as contemporary as any other media we discuss on this site, which means it should be fair to assume it engages with contemporary topics (and at the very least, you shouldn't say that the representation is accidental with so much confidence)

but anyways, the chapter "perfect communication" in ryoko kui's "terrarium in a drawer" is some of the most straightforward autistic representation I've seen, and from now on I'm going to assume that laios's character writing is absolutely intentional in that regard:
