No for real though, for only showing up for season three and a little teensy bit of season four, he’s got so much character and depth to him that I frankly find it impossible to dislike him. 10/10 taste

Dub Haikyuu is genuinely the funniest thing, and personally despite a few instances very early on where some of the scenes are a bit questionable emotionally (looking at you, crying hinata from season one), the emotion is still there for me. Also, hard agree with Daichi and FREAKIN TANAKA IS THE BEST. Another unpopular opinion, but dub Nishinoya >>>> as well. First time I watched Nishi in the sub I almost choked because his voice was so deep skssjksdk—

Oh and additionally, THANK YOU FOR THE DUB APPRECIATION!! Frankly if I find an anime with a dub option that I deem decent, I will absolutely watch it. Some of my favorite voice actors are from dub anime - for instance, Greg Ayres (who voices Nishinoya and a whole bunch of other lovable anime characters), Todd Haberkorn (who is Natsu Dragneel + Hikaru Hitachiin), and Justin Briner (who does the English voices for Izuku Midoriya and Hanako). Like, they’re all so damn talented and I will stand by that despite all the shit that dubs get. Both sub and dub can be good or bad people!! Don’t hate on each other for watching one or the other!

Anyways lol, the stage play is a gift to the world, I love it so much. Nekoma’s cheer especially is just MMMM — love it to pieces and it looks so fun to witness and be a part of ☺️ they’re all lovely

Wiktionary says Japanese neko is a shortened form of nekoma, itself from OJ ni₁a "nyaa" + ko₁ma "four-legged animal". Not sure how seriously to take this etymology since there isn't a citation. Anyway this suggest an alternate universe where the English word for cat is meowdeer and I think that's pretty cool.

I made these for what?? Nothing, so I decided better get some use out of it.

* I tried to not make it too biased on anything, for example not many milk mentions for Kageyama or video games for Kenma. I slipped a few times oops.

- Yachi probably has a lower than normal immune system so you’re taking her of her a lot, think of it as a way of giving back to her.

- Kiyoko prepares the most extravagant dates for you, if you ask why she merely says “only the best for my lover.”

- If you do something to Asahi’s hair, like a hairstyle, he would wear it around without taking it off. Nishinoya comments on his hair saying how he’s lucky to have a girl like you.

- Daichi keeps a note on his phone on things you like and don’t like plus things you’ve said.

- Tsukishima let’s you wear his glasses when you two are alone, he enjoys seeing you happy. Even if he doesn’t admit it.

- If you have freckles Hinata would count them and draw constellations on your face. ( bonus: he kisses each individual freckle )

- Kageyama tries to braid your hair, he’ll probably just tangle it though.

[ NEKOMA ]

- Kenma knows how to braid hair pretty well, so he would often practice on you, if you have short hair small braids.

- Kenma also likes to rest his head near your neck, it feels like you’re somehow protecting him from the outside world.

- Kuroo takes you on beach dates during summer vacation.

- You and Kuroo would throw insults at each other to see who gets mad first, loser normally buys food. On that note if you’re close to breaking and you’ve lost twice in a row he’ll call quits.

- The pretty setter squad ( specifically Kageyama, Kenma, Akaashi and Oikawa ) are all really observant so if you have some random cut they’ll and you don’t notice they’ll put a bandaid on you.

- Kenma would name his starter Pokémon after you, since he keeps his starter till the end. ( bonus: uses a lot of potions on you so you don’t faint )

- Kenma gets you stuffed animals when he goes to the arcade.

- Yaku treats your wounds if you trip and scrape your knee. ( carries first aid kit for his wounds )

- Alisa would take you shopping for your dates with Lev ( or her )

Deaf g/n Reader x Kuroo and Kenma (poly pair)

I know I've been dead and I apologize for that. Now I got inspired by the fact I was deaf for a few weeks due to some issues which was also why I didn't post (I have bad health issues) so since I now know what it's like to be deaf I've decided to write one of my favorite pairs with g/n reader since that's what I'm feeling today.

Kenma endlessly show Kuroo all games he plays but he only shows you the ones where they have subtitles so you know what's going on

He looked in your ear for bugs one time after he went a few days without sleep b/c he was playing a game where bugs mind controlled people, he was worried he was going to find bugs blocking your hearing. 😭🤚

If you like to read he'll put on the audio version of it while he plays so that you guys can 'talk' about it later and you will never know since you can't hear it

If your hearing is able to be saved like mine and you just need hearing aids now he'll start talking more around you just so you can get more comfortable with his voice

He likes to play music loud and everyone always got annoyed with him but you can't hear it so he loves he can just blast that shit

If someone tried to make fun of you for it (for some reason, such assholes) his glare is making them need to thaw from the ice

He thinks he can get away with bringing stray dogs home since you can't hear but he forgets that animals have smells😐(I want to make a cat joke but it's cannon he's a dog person and that Nekoma is Ne-koma not Neko-ma so I must sob in my corner for now.)

If you know sign language he will try to learn it all but isn't that good and his fingers aren't that flexible 😅

Kuroo dances around the kitchen and will always manage to drag you into it while Kenma watched even tho you can't hear the music

One time he started dancing really upbeat so you thought it was a upbeat song, nope it was classical music he just wanted to make a fool as you (this dickwad I'll will gut you.)

Overall it doesn't really matter much to them, Kenma thinks it's just a part of life and Kuroo is curious at most.
