Watching the old SNL bit on twin peaks was funny as a schizophrenic guy because a lot of Dale’s behavior aligns with junk we do/understand as a mentally ill person. So to watch a comedy skit that was essentially “the viewers think this guy is stupid” was great, completely expected. You people are so easy.

Andhera's character and the unseelie court really describes that neurodivergent experience of "being too much."

"You make too much noise"

"You feel things too much"

"You should be punished for showing your emotions"

And that punishment making it harder for them to hide their emotions.

It's an allegory about being too expressive that it's offputting for neurotypical people. It's about feeling things that most people don't (e.g. this noise is too loud for me but it's not for you). It's about being punished for being who you are and feeling how you feel.

But you are allowed to feel those feelings. They are valid emotions. You are not too much. You will find people who will love you for you and all your emotions. You don't have to erase that part of yourself that feels too much. You can embrace the kindness in that big heart of yours and show it to those who deserve to have you as you are.
