Jerry Seinfeld says that you could never do Seinfeld today but one time when I was really high I fell asleep and dreamed a new episode where Jerry came out of the closet as a trans woman and Elaine wanted to be supportive so she gifted Jerry a dress that she didn't really like but when Jerry wore the dress out she got tons of compliments and Elaine gets super pissed about it because she never got any compliments when she wore it but couldn't say anything because she didn't want anyone to call her a fake ally.

people talk about how they could have so easily made troy and abed the typical nerd x jock relationship dynamic friend duo and they didn’t, which made it better. which is all true but I think we forget that they didn’t start with really any dynamic in mind for them at all. troy and abed weren’t even originally supposed to be especially close. they built the characters, seperately, then as the show came together they realized how much chemistry the two had (troy and abed AND danny and donald.) their dynamic wrote itself, with almost no pretense or planning, and that’s what makes it so special and unique. that’s why there’s not really any other duo quite like them in any other sitcom, or even any other show/movie. it’s a really strange realization but some of the best things we create are completely unplanned

I know we like to joke about Hannibal being smitten with Will from day one despite him being Rude (tm), but here's the thing: I don't think Will really was rude. He correctly picked up on the fact that the meeting with him, Jack, and Hannibal was arranged under false pretenses--in other words, that he was being lied to (Hannibal wasn't there to help Will but to assess him). And as we know, Will finds being lied to as unbearable as Hannibal finds actual rudeness. Will might have been a little sarcastic in the whole "not fond of eye contact, are you?" exchange, but tbh that was kind of a rude way for Hannibal to act, clearly poking and prodding into Will's personality in the literal first moments they've ever interacted. I honestly think Hannibal was just pleased that Will worked it all out, with the added bonus of revealing his empathy potential to understand Hannibal. Will was reacting in a way that was totally justifiable given what was going on, and Hannibal isn't going to have a problem with that.
