Okay I JUST realized I never posted these on here—- BUT BASICALLY, about a year and a half ago I started doing these experimental black hairstyle posts that were threads long on Twitter, to give artists a source of inspo for their black ocs whose hair they wanted to try something new with! There’s more to black hair than just the selected styles portrayed in media, and I thought it would be fun to show people how much texture, shape, fades, length, and style can be combined when drawing black hair—-cause it’s a kind of manipulation our hair can do irl! The OG thread from when I made these a year ago were lost with the hacking of my original Twitter account (@/bagels_donuts) but I’ve since reuploaded the whole thread to my new Twitter (@/ItsDonutsFR)! I don’t know what to share about my life anymore to get people’s attention. We are a family of ten trying to survive in northern Gaza. Our landlord keeps increasing our rent, and we will be at the mercy of the drones and the tanks if we have to leave, on top of having to leave behind all of our belongings. Every kind of food at the market now costs a fortune and there are no jobs available due to the dangerous situation outside, so we have to fully rely on this campaign.

This is a drawing my friend made of my dearest sister Soso, who is only four years old and has already suffered so much in her short life. I want to make it more bearable for her, but I can’t do it alone.

Please help, I swear I’ll be thankful for anything. Share at least if you can’t afford to donate.

Israel is bombing refugee camps again, and ibrahim's family only narrowly escaped a bombing recently. They have since moved camps and still need money for food, water, and other basic necessities to get them through. He is so young and your generosity and kindness have gotten him through the past year - please keep it up!! recently, iof soliders fired at ibrahim and his friends while they were at the beach, injuring one of them and scarring them all mentally.

A man killed a Muslim man at a mosque in France yesterday. The investigation is pointing toward an Islamophobic terror attack. Like the people of the mosque all say that they never saw the murderer before but the victim was a regular, the murderer said “your shit god” to the victim while stabbing him to death. The surveillance camera of the mosque suggest that the murderer pretended to be a new revert and asked the victim if he could teach him how to pray and when the victim was kneeling the murderer jumped on him and started stabbing him. The murderer also filmed himself while killing the Muslim man and insulting Allah and allegedly posted it on Snapchat.

Meanwhile all the big articles talking about what happened are saying that a “Muslim man killed an other Muslim man” despite the fact that the investigation is pointing toward the murderer being an Islamophobic ahole not a Muslim. And there hasn’t been a single article since the Islamophobic terror attack became the most likely motive.
