Finally had a look at the official promotional website, which I wasn’t expecting to STILL have character profiles up, but this does seem to canonize certain spell...

Uh... hm.

?? And here we have a strange situation where this appears in the game as the halfway compromise Nola Döbereiner. At least we’re all agreed on Platière taking the grave accent?

Anyway, Razzly, Nöla, and Venefskuja are the only issues I see a need to (un-)correct in my translation; despite it appearing in his shop’s title, Yuzi is just a question of which romanization system you use, and I’m already going with Midou, Andou, Shunichi, etc. over the website’s Mido, Ando, and Syunichi.

That said, I’m not sure why this gives Inagaki in katakana when he has a kanji surname in-game like everyone else.

(and, naturally, the characters who gave the localizers the most trouble--Kamada Touma, Iida Ai, and K. Suzu, aren’t on the website at all.)

- What’s your impression of the Main Character, Atsuki? “Cool and stoic! He’s so freaking awesome!!”

- Anything you and Atsuki have in common? “I’m a person who’s FAR from what you’d call cool.” (Laughs)

- What did you like about Lux-Pain? “I liked the strange world it portrayed and the variety of characters!  Also, the thing where you have to use your stylus to erase stuff is pretty interesting!!”

Nora Döbereiner

Nora is a member of FORT. She provides support for Atsuki. Her main jobs are to gather information on Silent and as an investigative assistant for him. She has a calm and composed personality. Theoretical, one could say. Normally Nora and Atsuki talk with each other in a business-like manner, but his reckless behavior can cause her to lose her cool and get mad at him from time to time (Because of his hatred for Silent, Atsuki doesn’t really pay attention to any of the dangers or risks).  Back
