21. What’s something new about your place of residence (room, home, or general location) now vs the start of the year? everything is new! i had a big mid-year move and didn’t bring much with me, so nor only is my house completely new to me but i’ve spent a good while curating my new living space and acquiring a bed, dresser, decor, and a fun little filming setup on one side of my room (see below)
#the books are antique histories of california from 1915. scored them for $30#the clock is vintage general electric from like the 60s and it still works. $2 from a busted garage sale#lamp was from ikea#posters from a friend#dried flowers from my sister’s wedding in a (possibly handmade?) piece of pottery from the thrift store#old guitar inherited from my grandma#and this pic was taken in like september i’ve acquired so much more since then#the picture in the frame is an old map of deltora i painted when i was 16 and i forgot about it but somehow it made the move with me#and the dresser i got for $40 off fb marketplace. what do u know about $40 fb marketplace linkin park clown car experience

every now and again i go on facebook marketplace and search for the kind of vintage car(s) i want and even save listings even though i most definitely do not have the money to buy them or a driver's license
#i will learn to drive some day though.... some day#for the longest time all i wanted was one vintage car. now i want two. not too much to ask is it#succumbing to the fatal american need to have a cool car#not to mention that the kinds i want are the more fancy type. not just any old car of course#again i need to win the lottery or become a famous successful director or both if i wanna live my extravagant lifestyle#facebook marketplace is also a den of temptation because it seems there are tons of listings for antique furniture and i Need them all...#can you imagine if i just wanted normal new things. crazy .
